  • 무선 주파수 인식(RFID) 기술은 차세대 유비쿼터스 환경에서 가장 핵심적인 기술의 하나이다. RFID 기술의 발전은 다양한 분야에서 인간의 삶에 변화를 줄 것이라 기대된다. 하지만 안전한 유비쿼터스 환경을 위하여 RFID의 보안성이 우선시 되어야 한다. RFID 프라이버시 문제인 태그 내부의 비밀 정보 유출이나 임의의 태그에 대한 위치 추적 가능성을 해결하지 못한다면 RFID 시스템은 사용자의 신뢰를 얻기 힘들 것이다. 이로 인해서 최근 RFID 보안에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 그 중에서도 최근 Juels가 발표한 Human Based 프로토콜이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Juels가 제안한 HB, HB+ 이외에 이를 바탕으로 여러 연구자가 제안한 확장된 HB 프로토콜들에 대해서 비교 분석하였다.

  • 무선 주파수를 가지고 대량의 사물을 동시에 인식 할 수 있는 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)는 현대 산업사회에서 중요성이 점점 증가하고 있는 자동 인식 기술중에 하나이다. RFID는 무선 주파수를 사용하기 때문에, 대량의 사물을 동시에 인식 한다는 장점이외에 프라이버시 침해문제를 야기하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해서 많은 관련 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 지금까지 연구된 기법들 중에서 강력한 프라이버시 보호를 필요로 하는 고가 물품을 위한 RFID보호 프로토콜은 없는 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 고가 물품에 부착하기 적합한 해시체인과 공개키를 이용한 향상된 RFID 프라이버시 보호 기법을 제안한다.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 센서를 통하여 실시간의 상황인식 서비스를 제공하며, 이를 위해 사용자의 위치 정보 수집이 필요하다. NTT에서는 RFID에 대한 익명화를 통한 프라이버시보호 메커니즘을 제안하였다. 그러나, 불법적으로 접근하는 리더가 존재할 경우 i값의 비동기화를 통한 태그에 대한 Random Tampering공격이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 NTT 연구소의 RFID 익명화 방법을 개선하여 태그의 Random Tampering 공격 방지가 가능하고, 태그와 리더 상호간 인증이 가능하며, 연산 과정을 절감시킨 새로운 RFID 익명화 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 통하여 보다 안전하고 효율적으로 RFID기반 센서 네트워크 환경에서 사용자의 프라이버시를 보호할 수 있다.

  • The RFID system is very useful in various fields such as the distribution industry and the management of the material, etc. However, the RFID system suffers from various attacks since it does not have a complete authentication protocol. Therefore, this paper propose the authentication protocol that used key server to resist various attacks including DoS(Denial of Service) attack. For easy implementation, the proposed protocol also uses CRC, RN16 generation function existing in EPCglobal class 1 gen2 protocol. This paper performed security analysis to prove that the proposed protocol is resistant to various attacks. The analytical results showed that the proposed protocol offered a secure RFID system.

  • A secured building where only approved personnel can access is sometimes not secured because of the lack of recognition of security. Unapproved personnel enter and access freely to the internal system of the building, and this makes security risks. In order to deal with these problems, the existing entrance-control system had developed by using the RFID card certification and the infrared sensor to measure distance. However, it is difficult for the system to guarantee security due to the weakness of each method. Therefore, this study aimed at providing a new method of guaranteeing security by comparing the double entrance-control system and the existing entrance-control system.

  • Recently arithmetic circuit of lightweight AES symmetric key algorithm that can apply to passive tag have been developed, then security protocol of RFID system using AES symmetric encryption techniques have been proposed. This paper proposed security enhancement protocol of RFID system using lightweight AES arithmetic circuit and random number generator of passive tag. The proposed protocol have AES algorithm and random number generator at server, reader, tag, and transmit encrypted message by separate secret key using random number at each session. The mutual authentication of tag and reader used reader random number and tag random number. As a result, proposal protocol reduce authentication steps of the existing mutual authentication protocol, and reduce amount of computation of tag, and demonstrate as secure protocol to every attack type of attacker by decrease communication step of Air Zone.

  • As the near field communication technology's application scope tends to expand gradually in the various fields, application of mobile-based NFC(Near Field Communication) is increasing in the various types of technologies. The method which reads the URL address and supports access to the web site of the address if you touch the NFC device in the tag(RFID) that the URL address is stored was applied to the unmanned security system. It proposed the effective plan to manage mobilization security business in the aspects of Integrity, Damage, Real-Time, and Speed through comparison and verification of the method with the existing unmanned security system.

  • The proposed system can achieve more safety of RFID system with the 2-step authentication procedures for the enhancement about the security of general RFID systems. After it has authenticated RFID tag, additionally, the proposed system extract the characteristic information in the user image for acquisition of the additional authentication information of the user with the camera. In this paper, the system which was proposed more enforce the security of the automatic entrance and exit authentication system with the cognitive characters of RFID tag and the extracted characteristic information of the user image through the camera. The RFID system which use the active tag and reader with 2.4GHz bandwidth can recognize the tag of RFID in the various output manner. Additionally, when the RFID system have errors. the characteristic information of the user image is designed to replace the RFID system as it compare with the similarity of the color, outline and input image information which was recorded to the database previously. In the experimental result, the system can acquire more exact results as compared with the single authentication system when it using RFID tag and the information of color characteristics.

  • RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) is a key technology in ubiquitous computing and is expected to be employed in more fields in the near future. Nevertheless, the RFID system is vulnerable to attacks by eavesdropping or altering of the messages transmitted in wireless channels. In 2013, Oh et al. proposed a mutual authentication protocol between a tag and a reader in RFID systems. Their protocol is designed to resist location tracking for privacy protection. However, all tags and readers use only one network-wide key in their protocol and tags are usually vulnerable to physical attacks. We found that their protocol is still vulnerable to tag/reader impersonation attacks and location tracking if an attacker obtains the network-wide key from a tag. In this paper, we propose a security improved authentication protocol for privacy protection in RFID systems. In addition, we demonstrate that the proposed scheme is efficient in terms of computation and communication costs.
