Presumable explosion time of Cas A has been listed from Dec. 6, 1592 to Mar. 5, 1593 in ancinet Korean observational records. It may have been overlooked, due to other supernova(Cassiopeia Nova) which appeared at that time near its original position of Cas A.

저자들은 이전에 건강했던 여아에서 갑작스런 복통과 담즙성 구토 증세를 보여 단순 복부 방사선 소견에서 소장 폐쇄 소견과 소장 조영술을 시행하여 협착 부위를 확인하고 수술을 시행 후 게실 간막 띠에 의한 소장의 폐쇄를 관찰한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

M85 is a nearby merger remnant galaxy located at the northern part of the Virgo Cluster. Because of its remarkable merging features, it is an interesting object to investigate its formation history. Globular clusters are a great tracer of the formation history of early-type galaxies, so that we study the globular cluster system of M85. It has been already found that there are "intermediate-color" globular clusters as well as blue and red ones based on the photometric survey using CFHT/Megacam. For follow-up research, we obtain the spectra of 21 globular clusters in the central region of M85 using Gemini-N/GMOS. We estimate their ages and metallicities based on the strength of Lick indices. We detect the intermediate-age population (~ 2 Gyr) with solar metallicities, comprising about 50% of the observed globular clusters, as well as old and metal-poor population. It suggests that M85 experienced a major merging event around 2 Gyr ago. We discuss these results regarding to the formation history of M85.

In this investigation we undertook to evaluate the utility of radionuclide cardiac angiography in the detection of cardiac shunts before and after surgical correction. Time-activity curves of ventricles and lungs were evaluated after bolus intravenous injection of 99mTc-human serum albumin in 512 preoperative patients and 551 post-operative patients. Omitting 31 cases of technical failure due to poor bolus, we detected shunts in 459 cases of 481 preoperative evaluations, so the detectability was 95.4%. The cases which couldn`t be detected by this method had small amount of shunt. Also the degree of shunt detected by radioisotope methods were well correlated with oxymetry method. [r=0.89, p<0.01 ] In postoperative evaluations, 18 out of 411 patients with left to right shunt and 10 out of 140 right to left shunt were found to have remnant shunts with radionuclide cardiac angiography. Of the 28 cases with failed operation, 2 were confirmed in reoperation, 2 by cardiac catheterization, 2 by two -dimensional echocardiography. All except one .f these patients had membranous ventricular septal defects and those with left to right shunts had moderate to severe pulmonary hypertension and shunt amount. Also those had larger septal defects than control group. We consider that radionuclide cardiac angiography is a simple and noninvasive method which can show the preoperative diagnosis and postoperative follow up of cardiac shunts.

17년 전에 관상동맥 우회술을 시술 받은 63세 환자가 인공 심박동기 삽입 후 발생한 국소 감염으로 입원하였다. 피부 절개 후 심박동기를 견인하여 제거하려 하였으나 와이어가 뽑히지 않았고, 와이어는 절단하여 체내에 남겨둔 채로 치료를 종료하였다. 그러나 반복적으로 국소 감염이 재발하였고, 이에 우측 개흉술로 접근하여 인공 심폐 순환 후, 순환 정지 하에 우심방을 열고 와이어를 제거하였다.

YMnO$_3$ thin films were spun-coated on the Pt/Ti/SiO$_2$/Si substrates by sol-gel process using alkoxides, and then dried on hot plates from 300 to 450 $^{\circ}C$. The prepared YMnO$_3$ thin films were annealed at 850 $^{\circ}C$ in O$_2$ atmosphere for 1 h. The crystallization of YMnO$_3$ thin films were improved to preferred c-axis orientation and the dielectric characteristics were progressed by increasing the drying temperature. The range of dielectric constant of thin film dried at 450 $^{\circ}C$ is 12.9-22.3 and close to that of YMnO$_3$ single crystal. The ferroelecrtic property of YMnO$_3$ thin film was observed on the YMnO$_3$ films. The maximum remnant polarization (2Pr) of YMnO$_3$ thin films dried at 450 $^{\circ}C$ was about 2.91 ${\mu}$ C/cm2. It was suggested that the drying temperature affect to the initial stage of thin film growth of preferred c-axis orientation.
