  • In this study, the several control laws and switching planes are considered to eliminate the steady state error and to obtain the rapid response for variable structure control systems. An elimination algorithm is achieved by combination with each other control law, and the type of control law having the most rapid response is shown through some simulations.

  • 반도체 제조용 웨이퍼의 온도를 측정하고 제어하는 기술의 진보로 열처리 장비 시장에서 점점 더 각광을 받고 있는 급속 열처리(rapid thermal process: RTP) 장치의 최근 기술 동향을 전반적으로 조사 분석하였다. RTP의 장점, 온도 제어 모델링 기술(model-based control), 최근에 개발된 여러 종류의 RTP 시스템 설계 및 이들 각각의 기술적인 문제들이 기술된다. 새롭게 개발된 단일 wafer furnace와 광자 효과를 이용한 rapid photothermal process (RPP)에 관해서도 기술하였다. 아울러 최근 열처리 장비 업체들의 현황과 열처리 장비 시장의 향후 전망에 관해서도 검토하였다.

  • A study is the selection of optimum forming condition for RP system. We develop the Automatic design program for machine element using visual LISP program in AutoCAD. Automatic design program reduces the required time for feedback between design and manufacturing of workpiece. Also we investigate the relationship between circularity of 3D solid model and circularity of rapid prototype using RP system and we will find optimum forming condition in RP system.

  • This study is the election of optimum forming condition for RP system using ADS. Program using ADS reduces the required time for feedback between design and manufacturing of workpiece. When we produce rapid prototype using RP system, we investigate the relationship between Facetres in system variable number of AutoCAD and circularity of rapid prototype, and we will find optimum forming condition in RP system.

  • Requirements of a benchmarking for rapid prototyping systems and process usually include manufacturing time, cost (including system price), and dimensional accuracy. This paper deals with a benchmarking comparisons to investigate the functional requirements of RP system. A special designed IMS_T2 test part with dimensional. geometrical, and surface roughness features has been used in the inspection of RP processes. IMS_T2 test part was built on 5 commercially available RP machines which are relatively new model in Korea.

  • Nowadays, as the development period of new products becomes shorter and consumer's requirement is more various, the importance of Rapid Protytyping Technology has been rapidly increased. Rapid Protytyping makes protytypes or functional parts directly using the 3D CAD data. But RP machines can make protytype in limit size. But RP machines can make protytype in limit size. For making large size protytype, we slice solid, which is made of STL file, and then glue sliced solid. This paper is concerned with slicing solid on STL file.

  • Rapid prototyping technologies have been widely used to reduce the development cost of new products. In this paper, the burning condition for getting casting product of resin pattern have been examined experimentally. In generally, the burning conditions have effect on the casting products. Using the direct casting. we directly producted the jewelry.

  • Acute subdural hematoma is usually a neurological emergency that requires hematoma evacuation or close observation. However, spontaneous resolutions of an acute subdural hematoma without surgical interventions have been reported rarely. We report on a case who showed rapid resolution of an acute subdural hematoma with neurological improvement and review the relevant literatures.

  • In this paper a newly designed rapid thermal process (RTP) structure is proposed to the slip induced in silicon wafers considerably. The reflectors and a graphite radiation were used to compensate the temperature difference causing slip in silicon wafers. From our experiments it is known that slip can be removed during a rapid thermal annealing at high temperature.
