도시철도유지보수체계 시스템의 RAMS에 대한 연구 (A Study on the RAMS for Maintenance CALS system for Urban transit)

  • The safety of staff customers and of general Public in general viewed as one of the most important requirements in the urban transit. The maintenance CALS system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance CALS system from 2001 to 2005. The RAMS for management computerization system are utilized in a variety of CALS system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. In this paper, This system include RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) of the vehicles shall be enhanced in the future.

  • Rolling stock RAMS is a field of engineering which integrates reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) characteristics into an inherent product design property through rolling stock system engineering process. It is implemented to achieve operational objectives successfully, and recently the RAMS has become a rapidly growing engineering discipline because it has a great potential to ensure safety and improve cost effectiveness. However, the Korean rolling stock industry has not yet implemented RAMS management in the rolling stock engineering process, despite the issue having been addressed since the introduction of the KTX. Thus, this paper discusses the processes, methods and techniques for RAMS assessment in three parts. Firstly, it outlines a process of the overall RAMS performance assessment for achieving technical RAMS design criteria. Secondly, it discusses a process for assessing the operational RAM and allocating the RAM. This paper also proposes a model for assessing safety-based risk management, which includes five analytic techniques for identifying the causes and consequences of a system failure. Finally, a case example is provided for the risk assessment of the pneumatic braking device.

  • The objective of this study is to develop a general design and performance evaluation model for the system designers in the initial design phase of the integrated automatic manufacturing system based on the RAM(Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) and life cycle cost(LCC). The methodology proposed in this research includes the following two stages. First, a deterministic approach to the solution of optimal work station arrangement for the initial system configuration is considered under the assumption that the system availability is one(no failure and maintenance), and then a stochastic simulation model based on RAM and LCC is developed. Using the results of these two stage simulation, a system performance index(SPI) was developed for the performance evaluation of the proposed system. Also a computer program is developed.

플랜트 가용도 평가 시뮬레이터의 신뢰성 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reliability Verification of Availability Simulation for Complex Plant)

  • Recently, a number of evaluation studies on availability of plant were carried out. This study was conducted to verify of the reliability of a simulation with some variable such as configuration of process, failure probability density function and the number of iteration times for the natural gas liquefaction plant. The error rate of the KICT-RAM solution was evaluated as 0.03~1.79% compared with the result of the MAROS(commercial solution). And the error-rate change was observed in the range of 0.03~1.75 on the condition of the iteration times as 30, 100, 250. As a result the plant availability evaluation approach of KICT-RAM solution was verified as reasonable. However, the careful approach was required to use the solution because the error-rate increased according to iteration times change.

수중함 전기 계통의 고 신뢰도 설계를 위한 고장나무분석과 적용 (Fault Tree Analysis and its Application for Designing High Reliability Electrical System in Underwater Vehicle)

  • A top priority in the design of underwater vehicle is to guarantee the dependability of the electric system because failure of the electrical power supply system is directly related to the life of the passengers. In this paper, we present four kinds of alternative designs to improve reliability of electrical system in underwater vehicle. To reduce the risk and to increase availability of the electrical system, we use the redundancy of the grid structure and power converter. For all design alternatives, we carry out Fault Tree Analysis. Based on the FTA result, we implement RAM simulation to compare the risk and availability for the proposed design alternatives.

가상목업을 활용한 협업 정비 시뮬레이션 시스템 (Collaborative Maintenance Simulation System Using Virtual Mockup)

  • 가상목업을 이용한 정비 시뮬레이션을 제품 설계 단계에 적용함으로써 시제품 제작 전 정비성을 검증할 수 있고, 제품 개발 비용을 절감할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 정비 시뮬레이션 결과는 정비 매뉴얼 컨텐츠로 재사용하거나 RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) 분석 자료로 활용할 수 있다. 가상 환경에서 설계 타당성을 검증하기 위해 정비 시뮬레이션은 가상 제품의 물리특성, 부품의 조립관계, 조작 과정을 실제 환경과 유사하게 제공해야 한다. 시뮬레이션 시스템은 협업 정비 절차를 수행하기 위해 가상 협업 환경으로 확장되어야 한다. 본 논문은 현재 알려진 정비 시뮬레이션을 가상 협업 환경으로 확장하기 위한 3계층 시스템 구조와 물리모의 기반 협업 인터렉션 기술을 제안한다. 제안된 협업 정비 시뮬레이션 시스템은 가상목업 정비 시뮬레이션 시스템으로 구현하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과를 VADE (Virtual Assembly Design Environment) 사례와 비교하여 물리모의 기반 협업 인터렉션 기술로 다양한 정비 작업을 모의하는 것이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • 항공기 개발단계에서의 RAM(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) 예측은 진행중인 설계개념이 RAM 개발 목표값을 달성할 수 있는지를 판단하여 이를 설계에 반영하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에서 신뢰도 예측 모델은 항공기의 임무에 초점을 둔 임무신뢰도와 시스템신뢰도를 산출하고, 정비도 예측 모델은 군수지원분석자료(LSAR)와의 호환성을 유지할 수 있도록 하였으며, 가용도 예측 모델은 신뢰도와 정비도 자료를 활용한 운용가용도를 예측하는 데에 기준을 두었다. 본 연구는 기존의 RAM 예측이 각각 독립적으로 수행된 점을 보완하여 서로간의 상호관계를 반영한 통합 예측 모델을 개발하는 데에 초점을 두었으며, 실제적인 운용개념을 반영한 모델링으로서 항공기 개발단계에서 뿐만 아니라 실제 운용단계에서의 RAM 분석에 효과적이라 판단된다.

컨테이너 터미널 장비의 RAM 향상을 위한 관리 시스템 (Management System for Improving RAM of Equipment in Container Terminals)

  • Equipments in container terminal have a lot of parts, and an equipment breakdown affects the productivity of terminal. In this paper, we develop a maintenance management system for improving reliability, availability and maintainability of equipments in container terminals. The developed system consists of five modules : equipment structure module, equipment operation management module, maintenance control module, spare part control module and data analysis module. The system supports reliability engineers to manage and improve RAM of equipments in container terminals. For example, FMEA, failure state analysis and life distribution parameters estimation are easily or automatically done by the system. This system also provides optimal preventive maintenance intervals by simulation and optimal yearly PM schedules for equipments in container terminal are recommended.

  • 본 논문에서는 RAM(Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability)과 RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) 개념을 기반으로 하는 틸팅 열차 유지보수 시스템(TRMS; Tilting Rolling-stock Maintenance System)의 S/W 구축방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 RCM 개념 및 절차에 대하여 소개하고 TRMS S/W가 어떻게 이러한 개념과 절차를 구현하는지에 관하여 논하였다. TRMS는 네 개의 모듈 즉 시스템 및 운영정보 모듈, FMECA 모듈, RAM 정보 모듈, RCM 분석 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 시스템 및 운영정보 모듈에서는 RCM 분석의 기초 작업인 데이터 수집을 위한 인터페이스가 제공되고, FMECA 모듈에서는 시스템 및 운영정보 모듈의 고장 데이터를 이용하여 고장영향 분석을 할 수 있는 워크 스페이스(workspace)를 제공한다. RAM 모듈에서는 Weibull 분포의 신뢰성과 고장률을 산출하기위한 알고리즘이, RCM 분석모듈에서는 작업주기와 작업비용을 계산하기위한 계산식이 제안되었다. 유지보수 관계자들이 RCM의 장점을 충분히 인식한다면 RCM을 다른 전동차 유지보수 시스템에도 쉽게 적용할 수 있을 것이다.

운용시험평가 데이터를 활용한 함정 운용가용도 평가 방안 및 사례 연구 (A Study on the Case Study and Evaluation Methodology of Operational Availability for a Naval Ship using OT&E Data)

  • Navy forces of ROK asked for more than 90% operational availability in the requirement document of combat ship. This study proposes the evaluation methodology of operational availability with the evaluation process, calculation formula, analysis of operational test data. As the case study, the developed methodology is proved to apply for 00 batch-I naval ship using the data to be acquired during the operational test period. The operational availability by test data was 90.03%, and it was satisfied with objective value 90%. The paper will contribute not only to establish the evaluation methodology of operational availability for combat ship but also other general weapon system.
