  • The color vision was composed of the wavelength absorption of three R. G. B cone photo-receptors and the r-g, y-b channel of an opponent process. The color vision defects mechanism for the electric circuit made up a photo cell, relay switch and transformer. This mechanism very well applied to the color vision defects mechanism owing to be y-b chromatic valence function in case of a cone R or G defects and to be r-g chromatic valence function in case of a cone B defects.

  • This research is an experiment to examine on the realization of Natural Color using R, G, B LEDs and this experiment was performed to cover two different stages. 1) When Natural Color using R, G, B LEDs was realized without correction in first stage, all color(R, G, B, C, M, Y) series had highly range of error from 0.0200 to 0.1500. 2) When R, G, B of LEDs was mixed at the ratio of 1:4.5907:0.0601 for realization of white in second stage, white was not realized to excitation purity. The second stage was Performed based on the three primary colors theory found out by Thomas Young in England and Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz in Germany.

  • Color vision of color vision deficiency is possible using Color space's conversion of color image. Color vision of the RG-Color vision deficiency is possible by the case to maximize the G channel(+100), the case to minimize the G channel(-100), the case to maximize the R channel(+100), the case to convert the R channel to the yellow(Y) channel that is the value of $(-)b^*$ coordinate in CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ color space, the case to separate with only the B channel and the G channel and to appear by the light and darkness difference again, and the case to receive the image only by the light and darkness after separation of saturation and conversion of RGB channel.

  • R, G, Y, B color lenses Manufactured increasing tinted time by 5 min term. CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ coordination's analysis used spectrophotometer and CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ color system. CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ coordination transfer form about tinted time being $$b^*(Y-B)={\beta}a^*+{\alpha}$$ change to do linear almost. In red case, move in $G{\rightarrow}R$, $B{\rightarrow}Y$ form tinted time increases, and Parameter ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ value got each -3.49 and 0.90. In green case, CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ coordination transfer form is $R{\rightarrow}G$, $B{\rightarrow}Y$ form. Got the pure green color color in 10 min's tinted time. Parameter ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ value got each -0.72 and -0.55. Get into pure yellow and blue color case tinted time increases. Parameter ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ value are 14.11 and 1.58 in yellow, and Parameter ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ value are -11.62 and 1.30 in blue color.

  • This paper describes a new algorithm for pixel-based skin color detection to differentiate human form in color images by the ratio of R to H. In order to detect skin color efficiently, we examine the distribution of the R, G and B color elements combining to constitute the skin color in various color images. It shows that R is located in a narrower area than G and B on the RGB color space. And skin color is more related to R than G and B. Meanwhile, when the color image is transformed to the HSI color space, the S is variously changed in accordance with skin colors. The I is changed in accordance with the quantity and angle of light. But the H is less influenced by other conditions except for color. On the basis of the aforementioned study, we propose that the threshold for skin color detection is decided by the ratio of R to H. The proposed method narrows down the range of threshold, detects more skin color and reduces mis-detection of skin color in comparison to detection by R or H. In experimentation. it shows that the proposed algorithm overcomes changes of brightness and color to detect skin color in color images.

  • In order to make full color cholesteric displays, color filter-less R, G, B sub-pixel structured cholesteric LC cells have been studied. To make R, G, B colors, UV induced pitch variant chiral dopant was added to cholesteric LC mixtures. The concentration of the photo-sensitive chiral dopant was adjusted so that the initial state showed blue color and the color was changed from blue to green and red with increase of UV irradiation to the cholesteric cells. To prevent the mixing of R, G, B reflective sub-pixel liquid crystals, separation walls were formed using negative photo resister in boundary area between sub-pixels, Through the optimization of the material concentrations and UV irradiation condition, vivid R, G, B colors were achieved.

  • Recently, as development of the luminaire industry, many people are interest of the outdoor and indoor lighting environment. Also, as increasing of people activity at night, the role of lighting is more important. In these days, the issue of LEDs lighting environment is using loud colors of LEDs which are the most of primary colors (R, G, B). It is often disliked by same people. Therefore, it is necessary to use of natural color in lighting design using LEDs. The colors of the LEDs are composed of combination of R, G, B diodes. This paper performs to investigate preference of various colors and color patterns of LEDs. The purposes of this study are to suggest standardization and natural colors instead of primary colors using LEDs.

  • Digital cameras adopting a single CCD detector collect image color by subsampling in three color planes and successively interpolating the information to reconstruct full-resolution color images. Therefore, to recovery of a full-resolution color image from a color filter array (CFA) like the Bayer pattern is generally considered as an interpolation issue for the unknown color components. In this paper, we first calculate luminance component value by combining R, G, B channel component information which is quite different from the conventional demosaicing algorithm. Because conventional system calculates G channel component followed by computing R and B channel components. Integrating the obtained gradient edge information and the improved weighting function in luminance component, a new edge sensitive demosaicing technique is presented. Based on 24 well known testing images, simulation results proved that our presented high-quality demosaicing technique shows the best image quality performance when compared with several recently presented techniques.

  • This paper presents an image retrieval algorithm based on feature vector using color of histogram refinement for a faster and more efficient search in the process of content based image retrieval. First, we segment each of R, G, and B images from RGB color image and extract their respective histograms. Secondly, these histograms of individual R, G and B are divided into sixteen of bins each. Finally, we extract the maximum pixel values in each bins' histogram, which are calculated, compared and analyzed, Now, we can perform image retrieval technique using these maximum pixel value. Hence, the proposed algorithm of this paper effectively extracts features by comparing input and database images, making features from R, G and B into a feature vector table, and prove a batter searching performance than the current algorithm that uses histogram matching and ranks, only.
