원가기획시스템의 실무수준과 성과간의 관련성에 관한 실증연구 (Relationship between Target Costing Practices and Organizational Performance : An Empirical study)

  • Target Costing research has a long history in the study of management control systems. However, there is very little published empirical analysis studies on Target Costing. This study investigate the impact of Target Costing practices on organizational performance. This study uses survey responses from executive at 125 Target Costing practicing firms to better understand the benefits that firms have experienced through Target Costing adoption and whether a more comprehensive implementation is worthwhile. The research results demonstrate that Target Costing has a positive and significant relationship with low cost, efficiency of R&D, and interaction facilitation. In particular, there is significant and positive relationship between organizational structure and performance. This study indicate that Target Costing is a vital management strategy to build and sustain competitive advantage.

  • The construction industry consists of various and massive architectural information as an architectural process includes a variety of design stages with cooperation of many disciplines. Particularly, architectural information is generated and managed through the life cycle of a building, from conceptual design stage to the construction and maintenance. A Building Information Model (BIM) serves as a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle from inception onward. BIM technology accomplished quantitative development being utilized in various disciplines. However, it is necessary to develop environment and requirement for qualitative improvement of BIM based project. Particularly, requirement is very important for architectural design evaluations. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply of quality control requirement for improving the quality of architectural design in open BIM environments. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated case study for open BIM data quality control (software, guideline and application case) and classified quality control targets according to physical/logical quality and data quality. In addition, the authors have defined open BIM based quality control process and developed quality control requirements. Finally, the authors have developed rule based quality check system using requirements for efficient quality control based on open BIM.

한국형 전술차량 후방밴 강성·강도 보강을 통한 내구성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the way to improve the rear van's durability of Korean Light Tactical Vehicle)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to improve the FRP Van's durability by analyzing the problematic parameters, redesigning the rear van, and verifying the design drafts using the CAE analysis & Rig test. Methods: The collected data through the government quality inspection and field spot check were thoroughly analyzed through the characteristics diagram and the improvement suggestions were verified by performing CAE analysis, like the dynamic stiffness, Torsional stiffness, open/close condition's strength, Full car durability and Carrying out the actual test. Results: The results of this study are as follows; The output of CAE analysis shows that improvement suggestions have considerable effects on the reinforcement of FRP structure, and the actual torsion and open/close condition durability test prove that rear van may have durable life which is equivalent to vehicle life cycle. Conclusion: The structural weakness of KLTV's FRP rear van was overcome by applying the stiffener in rear van and changing the bonding method of each FRP pieces. That suggestions were proved using CAE analysis and Rig test.

데이터 품질을 고려한 국가R&D정보 데이터베이스의 통합 사례 연구 - NTIS 데이터베이스 통합 사례 (A Data Cleansing Strategy for Improving Data Quality of National R&D Information - Case Study of NTIS)

  • 데이터 품질관리 관점에서 볼 때, 데이터의 품질은 품질정책, 품질조직, 업무프로세스, 업무규칙 등 여러 요인에 의해 영향을 받는다. 이중에서도 업무규칙은 실제 데이터를 조작하는 행위의 지침이 되는 것으로써 데이터 품질에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 여러 기관의 데이터베이스를 통합하여 단일의 데이터베이스를 구축하는 경우에는 더 신중하게 업무규칙을 수립할 필요가 있다. 분산된 데이터베이스 내에 있는 데이터를 단일의 데이터베이스로 통합한다는 것은 단순히 데이터의 통합만을 의미하는 것이 아니라 상이한 스키마, 코드 체계, 데이터 표준 등을 사전에 고려해야 함을 의미한다. 이런 요소들을 고려하더라도 데이터 자체는 형식, 단위, 표현 등에 따라서 다양한 모습을 가진다. 결국 데이터베이스의 구조적인 문제와 데이터 자체의 의미적인 문제가 데이터베이스 통합과 통합된 데이터베이스 내 데이터의 품질 제고를 위한 선결 과제라 할 수 있다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는 먼저 통합 시 통합 모델의 설계가 필요하고, 통합된 데이터베이스의 데이터에 대한 정제가 필요하다. 범부처적으로 분산되어 있는 국가R&D정보를 수집하여 서비스하는 국가과학기술종합정보서비스(NTIS)도 여러 기관에 존재하는 데이터베이스를 연계 통합하여 단일의 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. NTIS의 사례를 통해 체계적인 통합 모델 수립과 정제에 의해 통합된 데이터베이스의 데이터는 그렇지 않은 데이터보다 정확도 측면에서 품질이 제고되었음이 입증되었다.

  • 국방 연구개발은 사용군의 요구사항을 만족시키는 무기체계를 최단 기간, 최소 비용 및 고품질로 개발하고자 노력하고 있으며, 통합 데이터베이스 전산 환경 하에서 체계공학 및 동시공학을 체계적으로 구현하기 위한 연구개발 프로세스 및 도구들이 개발되고 있다. 항공 무기체계 분야에서 본 논문의 연구개발 과정에서 생성되는 기술 자료를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 웹기반 체계운영관리시스템을 개발 및 운용하고 있으며, 기존 항공 무기체계 연구개발 사업에 적용하여 그 효율성을 입증 및 검증하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 체계운영관리시스템 기반으로 향후 개발 예정인 보라매 사업, 무인항공기 및 무인전투기에 적용 가능한 통합 연구개발 프레임웍(Framework) 및 통합 무기체계 데이터베이스 발전 방안에 대해서 기술한다. 또한, 연구소에서 운영 예정인 WISEMAN과의 연동 및 통합 방안에 대해서도 기술한다.

Fabrication and Evaluation of a Total Organic Carbon Analyzer Using Photocatalysis

  • Water quality is crucial for human health and the environment. Accurate measurement of the quantity of organic carbon in water is essential for water quality evaluation, identification of water pollution sources, and appropriate implementation of water treatment measures. Total organic carbon (TOC) analysis is an important tool for this purpose. Although other methods, such as chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) are also used to measure organic carbon in water, they have limitations that make TOC analysis a more favorable option in certain situations. For example, COD requires the use of toxic chemicals, and BOD is time-consuming and can produce inconsistent and unreliable results. In contrast, TOC analysis is rapid and reliable, providing accurate measurements of organic carbon content in water. However, common methods for TOC analysis can be complex and energy-intensive because of the use of high-temperature heaters for liquid-to-gas phase transitions and the use of acid, which present safety risks. This study focuses on a TOC analysis method using TiO2 photocatalysis, which has several advantages over conventional TOC analysis methods, including its low cost and easy maintenance. For TiO2, rutile and anatase powders are mixed with an inorganic binder and spray-coated onto a glass fiber substrate. The TiO2 powder and inorganic binder solutions are adjusted to optimize the photocatalytic reaction performance. The TiO2 photocatalysis method is a simple and low-power approach to TOC analysis, making it a promising alternative to commonly used TOC analysis methods. This study aims to contribute to the development of more efficient and cost-effective approaches for water quality analysis and management by exploring the effectiveness and reliability of the developed equipment.

Phenological growth stages of Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng) according to the extended BBCH scale

  • Background: Phenological studies are a prerequisite for accomplishing higher productivity and better crop quality in cultivated plants. However, there are no phenological studies on Panax ginseng that improve its production yield. This study aims to redefine the phenological growth stages of P. ginseng based on the existing Biologische Bundesanstalt, Bundessortenamt und Chemische Industrie (BBCH) scale and proposes a disease control reference. Methods: This study was conducted at the Korea Ginseng Corporation Experiment Station in Gyeonggi province, South Korea. Phenological observations were performed once weekly or twice monthly, based on the developmental stages. The existing BBCH scale with a three-digit code was used to redefine and update P. ginseng's phenological growth codes. Results: The phenological description is divided into eight principal growth stages: three for vegetative growth (perennating bud, aerial shoot, and root development), four for reproductive growth (reproductive organ development, flowering, fruit development, and fruit maturation), and one for senescence according to the extended BBCH scale. A total of 58 secondary growth stages were described within the eight principal growth stages. Under each secondary growth stage, four mesostages are also taken into account, which contains the distinct patterns of the phenological characteristics in ginseng varieties and the process of transplanting seedlings. A practical management program for disease control was also proposed by using the BBCH code and the phenological data proposed in this work. Conclusion: The study introduces an extended BBCH scale for the phenological research of P. ginseng.

3차원 ELCOM 모형을 이용한 대청호 수온성층 모의 (Simulations of Thermal Stratification of Daecheong Reservoir using Three-dimensional ELCOM Model)

  • The transport of contaminants and spatial variation in a deep reservoir are certainly governed by the thermal structure of the reservoir. There has been continuous efforts to utilize three-dimensional (3D) hydrodynamic and water quality models for supporting reservoir management, but the efforts to validate the models performance using extensive field data were rare. The study was aimed to evaluate a 3D hydrodynamic model, ELCOM, in Daecheong Reservoir for simulating heat fluxes and stratification processes under hydrological years of 2001, 2006, 2008, and to assess the impact of internal wave on the reservoir mixing. The model showed satisfactory performance in simulating the water temperature profiles: the absolute mean errors at R3 (Hoenam) and R4 (Dam) sites were in the range of $1.38{\sim}1.682^{\circ}C$. The evaporative and sensible heat losses through the reservoir surface were maximum during August and January, respectively. The net heat flux ($H_n$) was positive from February to September, while the stratification formed from May and continued until September. Instant vertical mixing was observed in the reservoir during strong wind events at R4, and the model reasonably reproduced the mixing events. A digital low-pass filter and zero crossing method was used to evaluate the potential impact of wind-driven internal wave on the reservoir mixing. The results indicated that most of the wind events occurred in 2001, 2006, 2008 were not enough to develop persistent internal wave and effective mixing in the reservoir. ELCOM is a suitable 3D model for supporting water quality management of the deep and stratified reservoirs.

R&D 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십이 제품개발 성과에 미치는 영향: 프로젝트 스폰서 역할의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of R&D Project Managers' Leadership on Product Development Performance: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Project Sponsor Roles)

  • 본 연구는 R&D 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십이 제품개발성과에 미치는 영향력을 밝히는데 목적을 갖고 프로젝트관리 R&D업무와 관련된 전문가집단(제조, 건설 엔지니어링, 조선, 플랜트, 정보통신)분야 175명을 대상으로 실증 조사하였다. 조사결과를 보면 R&D 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십이 제품 개발 성과에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났으며 프로젝트 스폰서 역할의 매개효과는 유의적인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 다양한 전문분야별 전문가의 참여로 구성되는 프로젝트에 있어 집단 간 복잡한 관계와 역할에 따른 효율적인 통제와 관리가 요구되는 리더의 리더십이 중요함을 나타낸 것을 의미한다. 리더의 효율적인 리더십에 의해 조직 내 구성원들의 협력과 제한된 시간 내 핵심역량의 결집을 통해 성과를 높일 수 있음을 시사한 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 종합하면 본 연구의 핵심 결과는 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십 극대화를 위해 프로젝트 스폰서의 역할증진을 위해 프로젝트 리더와 관련된 매개적 역할을 적극적으로 수행해야 함을 의미하고 프로젝트 스폰서의 매개역할은 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십에 영향을 줌으로 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십에 영향을 미쳐 최종적으로 프로젝트 성과 품질에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 요약할 수 있다.
