  • The present study proposes and tests an integrative model for global consumers to examine the relation among fashion marketing mix, brand attitude, brand loyalty, and purchase intention in the jeans market. The questionnaire surveys 692 consumers in the United States, China, and France. The statistical analysis methods that are used are as follows: frequency analysis, factor analysis, SEM analysis, and multi-group analysis. The results show that fashionability, perceived quality, and advertising have a direct and also a positive effect on brand attitude; however, advertising didn't have a direct effect on purchase intention. In addition, the results of the SEM analysis show that brand attitude leads to brand loyalty, while also showing a direct and indirect positive effect on purchase intention. Furthermore, the multi-group analysis reveals significant differences in SEM among countries such as the United States, China, and France.

  • Recently, Korean government has been initiating various schemes for reactivation of the marginal farmland use. However, although about ten years have passed from the introduction of the marginal farmland redevelopment projects in 1995, there have been very few research works on their systematic and objective appraisal. Therefore, this study checked the statutory concept and development schemes of the marginal farmland, firstly. Ant through case studies on 5 completed project sites and questionnaire/interview surveys on local government officers/private developers, problems and suggestions on project implementation were analysed. Finally, in consideration with analysed results and suggestions together, tentative project directions and reaction schemes on marginal farmland development were proposed.

  • Epidemiologic studies of Kawasaki disease (KD) have shown a new pattern or change of its occurrence suggestive of its pathophysiology or risk factors from the first patient with KD reported in 1961. The incidence of KD in Northeast Asian countries including Japan, South Korea, China, and Taiwan is 10-30 times higher than that in the United States and Europe. Knowing the true epidemiology of KD in each country and the availability of publications of KD epidemiology also could benefit general health care providers and general population. This would enable the early detection and treatment of KD, ultimately reducing the incidence of coronary artery complications and mortality. Therefore, efforts to investigate the true epidemiology of KD should be continued in every country using a questionnaire survey, National Health Insurance system data, or combined methods depending on each country's medical environment to ensure high-quality care of patients with KD.

Methods: Electronic databases were searched, including RISS, KMbase, and KCI. Eight studies from 21 references screened were included in the analysis. Results: The number of studies related to the image of EMTs is severely lacking. The research methods and participants are limited to questionnaire surveys and EMT students, respectively. In addition, most of the studies used modified tools developed for image measurement of other occupations. Conclusion: Image research for EMTs should include various methods and participants. Standardized measurement tool development and image-related research should be steadily conducted.

  • Nowadays the Design-Build Delivery Method in public sector has been remarkably grown up in applying owing to its merits such as shortening construction duration. The Fast-Track is the wide-using method for accelerating schedule at Design-Build projects. But the public agency is in trouble to execute Fast-Track because of the lack of guideline for its process. As a result, in some cases applying Fast-Track methods, cost and construction duration are increased more than cases of non-Fast-Track projects. In this study, through the questionnaire surveys to professionals having actual implementation experiences as a construction manager, owner or general contractor, key success vehicles of Fast-Track are induced.
