A Technique of Converting CXQuery to XQuery for XML Databases (XML 데이터베이스에서 CXQuery의 XQuery 변환 기법)

  • The existing query processing technique for CXQuery, which is able to query regardless of knowledge about XML document structures, is difficult to manage because of table join for query processing and results return, mapping XML documents into relational tables, and so on. In this paper we have developed a converter capable of converting CXQuery to XQuery in order to make use of the query processing techniques for XQuery progressing standardization. The converting speed of the converter takes a trifling time as much as negligible quantities in comparison with the total query processing time. This is also able to query directly XML documents regardless of relational databases, and users can query without knowledge about XML document structures.

  • XML 문서로부터 정보를 검색하거나 추출하기 위해 쓰이는 질의 표준으로 XQuery 제안되었다. 하지만 사용자들이 XQuery를 사용하기 위해서는 XML문서의 구조를 알아야만 한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이에 문서 구조에 의존하지 않는 질의인 CXQuery가 제안되었지만 CXQuery가 XML을 파싱하여 DBMS에 저장한 뒤 DBMS에서 질의를 처리하기 때문에 XML문서를 직접 처리하지 못하고 한 단계 변환의 과정을 필요로 한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이 논문에서는, 사용자가 질의한 CXQuery를 그에 해당하는 XQuery로 변환하는 변환기를 개발함으로써 CXQuery의 문서 구조 독립적인 질의가 용이 하도록 하고 XML문서에 대해 직접적으로 질의 처리가 가능하도록 하였다.

  • 지능형 웹의 확장을 위해 링크드 데이터(Linked Open Data)를 통한 표준화 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 링크드 데이터는 RDF, SPARQL을 이용한 정보를 더욱 더 지능적이고 다양한 분야에 적용 할 수 있는 방법으로 제시되고 있다. 하지만 이기종 환경에서는 각각 서로 다른 데이터 형식을 지니게 되므로 통합환경을 구축하는데 어려움이 따른다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 다양한 이기종 환경에서의 데이터 형식 변환이 가능한 RDF 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안하는 RDF 컨버터는 SPARQL를 비롯한 다양한 질의어로 데이터의 효율적인 분석, 변환이 가능하다. 성능평가를 통해 RDB 데이터 형식 분석과 RDF 데이터 변환에 대한 정확도를 확인하였고 D2RQ와 Jena2의 비교를 통해 서로 다른 RDB 데이터가 D2RQ에서 변환시간이 4.2% 빠르다는 성능을 증명하였다.

  • It has been proposed diverse methods to use web information efficiently as the size of information is increasing. Most of search systems use a keyword-based method that mostly relies on syntactic information. They cannot utilize semantic information of documents and thus they could generate to users. To solve shortcoming in searching documents, a technique using the Semantic Web is suggested. A semantic web can find relevant information to users by employing metadata which are represented using standard ontologies. Each document is annotated with a metadata which can be reasoned by agents. In this paper, we propose a search system using semantic web technologies. Our semantic search system analyzes semantically questions that user input, and get resolution information that user want. To improve efficiency and accuracy of semantic search systems, this paper proposes DQL(DAML Query Language) engine that employs inference engine to execute reasoning and DQL converter that changes keyword form question of the user to DQL.

  • XML is normalized text form that is designed to transmit structured document in web as that propose in W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in 1996. Function that this can overcome HTML's limit that use in existing in Internet and user define new tag to HTML by way to solve SGML's complexity added. There is many efforts to use storing this XML document in RDBMS but to relation style DB because XML document is tree structure structurally data SQL and perfect disaster caused by things that is language to ask a question accomplish XQuery that so it is W3C's XML standard query appear. After store XML informations including space information to RDBMS in this paper, Spatial XQuery through converter that is Sqatial XQuery2SQL through Spatial operator, Spatial function SQL of by Sqatial XQuery2SQL conversion algorithm that draw information in RDBMS after change embody wish to.

  • In this paper, we implemented a real-time system improving the performance of the paper currency discrimination by integrating a weighted region of interest matching algorithm with a weighted shape feature matching algorithm of the blocked image. The system classifies the paper currency by comparing a query image with compared images based on the database that contain images of paper currency. Especially, the system has good efficiency at the contaminated, rotated, and translated paper currency. The system hardware consists of three parts as follows : the paper currency image acquired by CIS(contact image sensor) is applied to the pre-processing part with A/D converter and PLD. Finally the pre-processed image data are classified by the main image processing part with a high-speed DSP based on the proposed algorithm.

  • The purpose of this paper is developing a PML server which is capable of saving and managing effectively the information of vehicles using RFID technology in the logistical and distributive environment. The PML server logs and manages the real-time static and dynamic information about the vehicles in EPC code format which is represented by XML schema and transmitted by the RFID reader to the server. It receives information from SAVANT the RFID middleware and transmits the data to the traffic information management application The main system we developed consists of the EPC data registry, query processor, data converter, vehicle product and instance data storage, system management tool and application API parts.
