웨이브릿 변환 영역에서 스토케스틱 영상 모델을 이용한 내용기반 적응 워터마킹 (Content Adaptive Watermarking Using a Stochastic Image Modeling Based on Wavelet Transform Domain)

  • 본 논문에서는 보다 효과적이고 강인한 워터마크 은닉을 위한 방법으로 웨이브릿 변환 영역에서 영상의 통계적 특성에 기초한 비정상상태(non-stationary)에서와 정상상태(stationary) 일반화 가우스(generalized Gaussian: GG)모델을 이용한 적응 워터마크 은닉 기술을 제안한다. 워터마크는 고주파 영역에서 연속 부대역 양자화(successive subband quantization: SSQ)를 이용하여 다해상도 영상의 웨이브릿 계수 중에서 시각적 중요 계수(perceptual significant coefficients: PSC)를 선택하여 삽입한다. 워터마크 은닉을 위한 지각 모델은 NVF(noise visibility function)함수에 의해 계산된다. 이것은 비정상상태와 정상상태의 통계적 특성을 이용하고, 국부영상 특성을 가진다. 은닉모델은 다해상도내의 각 부대역별 분산과 형상계수(shape parameter)를 사용한다. Stirmark benchmark test에 근거하여 여러 가능한 왜곡에 대한 실험에서 강인성과 비가시성에서의 우수함을 확인하였고, 비정상상태의 경우와 정상상태의 경우를 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 컨텐츠 저작권 보호를 위해 강인성과 비가시성의 유지를 위한 보다 효과적인 방법으로 웨이브릿 변환에서 적응적 워터마크 삽입강도를 갖는 지각적 데이터 은닉 모델을 제안한다. 먼저 영상을 9/7 쌍직교 웨이브릿 필터를 사용해 4레벨로 다해상도 분해한다. 다음으로 연속부대역 양자화(successive subband quantization)를 통한 시각적 중요계수(perceptually significant coefficient: PSC)들을 선정하여 선택된 계수들에 대해서만 워터마크 정보를 삽입한다. 지각 모델은 정상상태의 일반화 가우시안 모델(generalized gaussian model)로 추정된 NVF(noise visibility function)로 에지와 텍스쳐영역 그리고 평탄영역에 따라 각각 적응적으로 삽입되게 한다. 이는 각 서브밴드 내의 분산과 형상계수(shape parameter)에 의해 결정된다. 적응적 워터마크의 삽입강도를 갖기 위해 에지와 텍스쳐영역의 삽입강도는 각 서브밴드의 주파수 감도(frequency sensitivity)로 결정되고, 평탄영역의 삽입강도는 영상의 국부적 특성에 근거한 통계적 가중치를 사용한다. 삽입되는 워터마크는 랜덤시퀀스로 N(0,1)이다. 여러 가지 공격에 대한 실험으로 제안한 방법의 비가시성과 강인성을 확인한다.

Throughput Based Study of UWB Receiver Modem Parameters

  • The MB-OFDM based UWB communication system is a personal area network specification aiming to provide 480Mbps peak data rate over 528 MHz spectrum. As the corresponding baseband modem operates at high clock rate, its complexity should be optimized for low power consumption. A set of modem design parameters is suggested including the AD bit width, the clipping level and the quantization level at the Viterbi decoder input as well as the trace-back depth of the Viterbi decoder. The data throughput is used to evaluate the performance of the receiver and a recommended set of design parameter values is presented to aid efficient modem implementation.

DMS 모델을 이용한 한국어 음성 인식 (Korean Speech Recognition using Dynamic Multisection Model)

  • In this paper, we proposed an algorithm which used backtracking method to get time information, and it be modelled DMS (Dynamic Multisection) by feature vectors and time information whic are represented to similiar feature in word patterns spoken during continuous time domain, for Korean Speech recognition by independent speaker using DMS. Each state of model is represented time sequence, and have time information and feature vector. Typical feature vector is determined as the feature vector of each state to minimize the distance between word patterns. DDD Area names are selected as recognition wcabulary and 12th LPC cepstrum coefficients are used as the feature parameter. State of model is made 8 multisection and is used 0.2 as weight for time information. Through the experiment result, recognition rate by DMS model is 94.8%, and it is shown that this is better than recognition rate (89.3%) by MSVQ(Multisection Vector Quantization) method.

  • The development of a fast, accurate, and inexpensive position-controlled pneumatic actuator that may be applied to a variety of practical positioning applications with various external loads is described in this paper. A novel modified pulso width modulation (MPWM) valve pulsing algorithm allows on/off solenoid valves to be used in place of costly servo valves. A comparison between the system response of standard PWM technique and that of the novel modified PWM technique shows that the control performance is significantly increased. A state feedback controller with position, velocity and acceleration feedback is successfully implemented as the continuous controller. Switching algorithm of control parameter using learning vector quantization neural network (LVQNN) is newly proposed. which estimates the external loads of the pneumatic actuator. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithms are demonstrated through experiments with various loads.

  • Super precision working technique and machine tool have been developing continually thanks to advanced electronic field. To obtain good result. it is necessary to investigate surface state in grinding with ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ level. There were so many researches to satisfy these demands using non-contact methods through the computer vision. In this study, the texture of working surface was analyzed. cooccurrence matrice was obtained from the surface roughness. Texture parameter was obtained by means of position operator compose of $\theta$. d according to variation of angle direction and distance. As a result, it was found that surface texture was more effected by direction ($\theta$) then distance(d).

Early Termination of Block Vector Search for Fast Encoding of HEVC Screen Content Coding

  • This paper proposes an early termination method of a block vector search for fast encoding of high efficiency video coding (HEVC) screen content coding (SCC). In the proposed algorithm, two blocks indicated by two block vector predictors (BVPs) were first employed as an intra block copy (IBC) search. If the sum of absolute difference (SAD) value of the block is less than a threshold defined empirically, an IBC BV search is terminated early. The initial threshold for early termination is derived by statistical analysis and it can be modified adaptively based on a quantization parameter (QP). The proposed algorithm is evaluated on SCM-2.0 under all intra (AI) coding configurations. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm reduces IBC BV search time by 29.23% on average while the average BD-rate loss is 0.41% under the HEVC SCC common test conditions (CTC).

  • Surface roughness is one of the most important parameters to estimate quality of products. As this reason. so many studies were carried out through various attempts that were contact or non-contact using computer vision. Even though these efforts, there were few good results in this research. However, texture analysis is making a important role to solve these problems in various fields including universe, aviatiion, living thing and fibers. In this study, texture parameter was obtained by means of position operator according to variation of angle direction and distance. As a result, it was found that surface texture was more effected by direction then distance
