디지털 데이터 가치의 정량적 측정에 대한 개념적 연구 (A Conceptual Study on the Quantitative Measurement of Digital Data Value)

  • With the rapid development of computer technology and communication networks in modern society, human economic activities in the almost every field of our society depend on various electronic devices. The huge amount of digital data generated in these circumstances is refined by technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, and its value has become larger and larger. However, until now, it is the reality that the digital data has not been clearly defined as an economic asset, and the institutional criteria for expressing its value are unclear. Therefore, this study organizes the definition and characteristics of digital data, and examines the matters to be considered when considering digital data in terms of accounting assets. In addition, a method that can objectively measure the value of digital data was presented as a quantitative calculation model considering the time value of profits and costs.

  • Evaluation is to be seen a~ a central component of design activity. It is an attempt to ensure that the proposal which arises is accepted and that the resulting artefact itself suited to its purposes in practice. Recent surveys of Evaluation show that most methods require quantitative and explicit attributes. Always a significant part of the attributes of design proposals is qualitative. Therefore we need some study that convert qualitative attributes into quantitative scale values, because in many cases con\ulcornerclusions can be drawn about the order of the overall value of the design proposals. Following to Thurstone's psychological scaling methods, attributive values are assigned by ruting scale methods, met, hod of rank-order and method of paired comparisons. The problem of psycho\ulcornerlogical scaling is then to determine whether the stimuli can be ordered on a psychological continuum with respect to the degree of the attributes each possesses. The law of comparative judgement assumes that for a given stimulus there is associated a most frequently aroused or modal discriminal process on a psychological continuum. This paper is based upon the premise that the modal discriminul process will also be the same as the mean or median of the distribution.The objective of this paper is to argue for an acceptance of qualitative approaches to the evalua\ulcornertion of Design as a complement to the existing quantitative techniques. The scale values of 10 attri\ulcornerbutes \ulcorner(1) originality, (2) aesthetics, (3) satisfaction, (4) effeciency, (5) function, (6) size, (7) texture, (8) simplicity, (9) symbol, and (10) facility) in case of TV sets are obtained and their interactions are examined.

Effect of Robot-Assisted Wearable Exoskeleton on Gait Speed of Post-Stroke Patients: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of a Randomized Controlled Trials

  • Objective: The greatest motor impairment after stroke is a decreased ability to walk. Most stroke patients achieve independent gait, but approximately 70% do not reach normal speed, making it difficult to reach a standard of daily living. Therefore, a wearable exoskeleton is recommended for optimal independent gait because different residual disorders hinder motor function after stroke. This review synthesized the effect on gait speed in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in which gait training using a wearable exoskeleton was performed on post-stroke patients for qualitative and quantitative analysis. Design: A systematic review and meta-analysis of a randomized controlled trials Methods: RCTs using wearable exoskeletons in robotic rehabilitation of post-stroke patients were extracted from an international electronic database. For quality assessment and quantitative analysis, RevMan 5.4 was used. Quantitative analysis was calculated as the standardized mean difference (SMD) and presented as a random effect model. Results: Five studies involving 197 post-stroke patients were included in this review. As a result of the analysis using a random effect model, gait training using a wearable exoskeleton in post-stroke patients showed a significant improvement in gait speed compared to the non-wearing exoskeleton (SMD=1.15, 95% confidence interval: 0.52 to 1.78). Conclusions: This study concluded that a wearable exoskeleton was more effective than conventional gait training in improving the gait speed in post-stroke patients.

Quantitative Analysis of Cerebellar Cortical Degeneration Using MRI in Dogs

  • In three dogs showing cerebellar ataxia, the onset of clinical signs varied from a young age of five months to age 13 years. Qualitative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed various degrees of cerebellar atrophy, and a tentative diagnosis of cerebellar cortical degeneration was made. Quantitative analysis using the brainstem to the cerebellar cross-sectional area ratio (BS:CBM ratio) and T2-signal intensity histograms were obtained to perform an objective evaluation. These techniques have the advantage of being easy and fast to evaluate. These quantitative analyses revealed the severity of cerebellar cortical degeneration in the three dogs as mild, moderate, and severe. Dogs 2 and 3 were identified as abnormal on the relative cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) space using T2-signal intensity histograms but were normal on the BS:CBM ratio. This suggests that the T2-signal intensity histograms may have higher sensitivity than BS:CBM ratio.

미혼모를 위한 진로교육 프로그램의 개발과 효과성 연구 (Development and Effectiveness of a Career Education Program for Unwed Mothers)

  • The objective of this study was to develop and verify the effectiveness of the career education program for unwed mothers to facilitate to consider their career plan and career orientation. The program of this study was based on the Super's developmental theory. The program was done twice a week totally 8 times. The subject of the program is unwed mothers from 16 to 25 years old. One-group pretest-posttest design was held. The quantitative and qualitative researches were carried out. In quantitative research, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was done with SPSS Window 10.0 to evaluate the effectiveness of the career education program. In qualitative research, the content of discussion in the course of group process, investigation, and the materials which were made from the group members were analysed to the objects of program. The results of this study was proven to develop career maturity, career decision level, and career identity. Finally, the meanings of this consequences were discussed.

인진butanol 분획의 TLC추출성분이 Fas-mediated Apoptosis에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Injin Butanol Fraction with Thin Layer Chromatography on Fas-mediated Apoptosis)

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of Injin butanol fractions with Thin Layer Chromatography on Fas-mediated Apoptosis. Method: Injin-butanol fraction separated by TLC. MIT assay, cell cycle analysis, Caspase-3 protease assay, DNA fragmentation assay and quantitative RT-PCR were performed to evaluate the effects of TLC extraction of lnjin-butanol fraction on cell viability, cell cycle progression and apoptosis. Results: Scopoletin, luteolin, apigenin and unknown powder was isolated by TLC. Fas-mediated apoptosis analysis shows that scopoletin has inhibiting function on apoptosis. Caspase- 3 protease assay analysis shows that scopoletin inhibits activity of caspase-3. Quantitative RT-PCR analysis shows that no activity on caspase-3, but apoptosis inhibition cytokine -Bcl-2- is activated, and apoptosis activating cytokine -Bax- is unactivated. Conclusion: These results show that each fraction of Injin-butanol TLC extraction, especially scopoletin, acts as a protective function on liver cell viability, and inhibitory function on apoptosis.   • Nowadays, there has been an increasing interest in the preservation of natural dentition and the proper occlusion related to tooth wear for quality of life. Tooth wear means the loss of tooth enamel structure. This is happened by many causes which is the combined effects of many mechanisms. For keeping proper occlusion, dentists should check tooth wear status with acceptable methods and tools for the proper diagnosis. Until now, there have been many traditional qualitative ways to measure tooth wear which are intuitive, rapid, and simple. On the contrast, they are not objective nor reproducible. With the development of related technique, new quantitative methods using CAD and 3d scanners. This article aimed to introduce qualitative and quantitative methods for tooth wear measurements.

  • A multiple criteria model for the facility layout problem considers both of the quantitative, the cost of the work flow, and qualitative, the closeness rating score, aspect. Rosenblatt, Fortenberry & Cox and Urban have developed multiple criteria models that consider both of the quantitative and qualitative aspect. Fortenberry & Cox's multiplicity model penalizes facilities with undesirable closeness rating and high work flows more than those undesirable closeness rating and low work flow between them to contribute to the objective function regardless of the closeness rating between these facilities. In this paper, it is intended to develops a improved multiple-criteria facility layout model considering the function for maintaning the distance between facilities.

  • 본 논문은 인터넷 기업의 비즈니스몰에 정당한 평가를 위한 객관적인 기준을 분석 연구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 일반적으로 인터넷비즈니스몰의 평가모형은 재무적 요소나 트래픽 요소, 비계량적 요소 각각을 갖고 하는 평가가 수행되어왔다. 그러나 이중 어느 것 한 요인만을 중심으로 인터넷비즈니스몰의 가치를 판단하는 것은 옳지 않는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 인터넷비즈니스몰 평가모형과 새롭게 연구되고 있는 계량적 요소와 비계량적 요소 모두를 고려해 평가하는 인터넷비즈니스몰의 평가모형을 살펴보았다. 계량적 평가모형은 기업간 상대적 우위뿐만 아니라, 평가요소간 가중치도 고려함으로써 비즈니스 모델에서 고객들이 중요하게 평가하고 있는 요인을 알 수 있다.

Case Studies of Risk Assessment in Analyzing Risks Associated with MSDS

  • Objective: This study aims to suggest different approaches in analyzing risks associated with musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS) for risk assessment. Background: Upon concluding that the changes in the industrial environments have made it hard to regulate diverse risk factors, the government has implemented a policy for risk assessment. Method: This study has proposed a method, creating programs using Excel that perform qualitative or quantitative analysis, for evaluating risk factors in risk assessments and has applied this in manufacture and service industries. Results: To verify the validity of the developed program, risk assessment has been performed on restaurant chefs as an example. For quantitative evaluation, the study has suggested approaches using the results for REBA evaluation and the analysis report on the work scenes of a fitting-shop in a shipbuilding industry. Application: Constructing and adapting a system using Excel in evaluating risk factors for risk assessments as this study suggests, is expected to contribute to revitalizing risk assessments.
