해양 심층수의 안정성 조사 및 분석 (I) (Investigation and Analysis of the Characteristic Stability of Deep Ocean Water (I))

  • 동해 해양심층수의 자원적 안정성을 평가하기 위하여 2001년 3월부터 2002년 2월까지 조사한 해양조사 및 수질분석이 수행되었다. 해양심층수 시범개발해역 및 강원북부 주변해역에 대한 해양자원적 수질특성의 시공간적 변동이 분석 및 비교되었다. 특히, 자원성이 인증된 해양심층수의 안정적 공급을 위해 필요한 취수 수심의 결정을 위해 월별 수온 및 염분의 연직분포에 대한 조사해석 및 수질분석 이 이루어져 고찰되었다.

지연된 n-탭 상승 에지 클럭을 이용한 위상 오차 검출기의 설계와 DP-PLL에의 적용 (The design of phase error detector based on delayed n-tap rising edge clock:It's DP-PLL system application)

  • 본 연구에서 망동기 시스템의 동기 기준 클럭과 시스템 클럭간에 발생하는 위상 오차를 최소화하기 위한 새로운 위상 오차 검출방식이 제안되었고 이 방식을 디지털 처리 위상 동기 루프(digital processing phase locked loop:DP-PLL) 시스템에 적용하였다. 두 클럭간에 발생하는 위상 오차는 지연된 n-탭 상승 에지 클럭으로 구성한 위상 오차 검출기에 의해 위상 오차 변이 (PEV:Phase Error Variation)로 출력된다. 위상 오차 변이는 5ns해상도로 검출되며 검출된 위상 오차 변이는 알고리즘에 의해 최적의 D/A변환기 계수를 추적하면서 위상 동기를 유지한다. 실험결과 위상 검출기는 빠르고 정확한 위상 추적 특성을 갖고 있으며 루프제어 알고리즘은 우수한 지터 억압 특성을 나타내었다.

춘계 한강 수질의 실시간 수심별 변동특성 (Real-Time Variation of Water Quality with Water Depth in the Han River during the Spring Season)

  • 수심에 따른 수질 변동을 모니터링할 수 있는 수심 프로파일 모니터링시스템을 개발하여 대하천의 현장에 적용하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 하천의 수생태 및 수환경 변화를 반영할 수 있는 핵심 항목을 도출하고, 수심별 실시간 모니터링 기법 및 시스템을 개발하였다. 모니터링 항목은 수질, 유황 및 기상 항목을 포함하도록 구성하였다. 대하천의 수심을 고려하여 1.0 m 간격으로 모니터링이 가능한 시작품을 제작하고, 한강 수질의 실시간 수심별 변동특성을 파악하기 위하여 양화선착장을 test-bed 대상지로 선정하여 모니터링시스템을 구축 운영하였다. 춘계를 대상으로 상세분석을 실시한 결과, 수온, pH, 용존산소량(DO) 및 클로로필 a 등의 항목에서 뚜렷한 일주변화 및 수심별 변화가 관찰되어 수심별 실시간 모니터링이 하천 수환경의 적절한 관리를 위한 매우 유효한 수단인 것으로 나타났다.

몰드변압기의 공기덕트의 구조 변화에 따른 온도특성 해석 (Analysis of Temperature Characteristic According to Variation of Air Duct of the Cast Resin Transformer)

  • In this paper, achieved rise temperature distribution about degradation phenomenon of 24 MVA distribution cast resin transformer using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics). Usually, life of transformer is depended on temperature distribution of specification region than thermal special quality of transformer interior. Specially, life of transformer by decline of dielectric strength decreases rapidly in case rise by strangeness transformer interior hot spot temperature value permits. Because calculating high-voltage(HV) winding and low-voltage(LV) winding of cast resin transformer and Joule's loss of core for improvement these life, forecasted heat source, and HV winding and LV winding of cast transformer rise temperature distribution of core for supply of electric power and temperature distribution of highest point on the basis of the results. Also, calculated temperature rise limit of cast resin transformer and permission maximum temperature using analysis by electromagnetic heat source. Calculated and forecasted rise temperature distribution by heat source of thermal analysis with calculated result.

  • The meaning of light is not always developed aspect in process of architecture history as essence worth of the architecture. It means that architectural light is not affected simple development of civilization, but it has more complex aspect. The technology of applying architecture has continuous development of society that light is possible to extend quantity by development of technology because light is component not simple material or tools but strong worthy aspect, quality development of architecture comes true by exact understanding and application. Conversion from medieval society to modern society begins at the Industrial Revolution has new skills and materials, the architectural conform general space filled with non-characteristic light, and it gives rising to pursuit Utopia is not exist frequently. In result, light of metaphysical meaning is diminished and exterminated. In other hand light seems to be tools by development of technology in modern society, recovering its own meaning in other aspect. That light makes perfect image of architecture not by finite meaning only for simple space but by expressing strongly point that unify the whole architectural composition. Light is free from partial material of architecture. Light activates major composition through high-technology, and has possibility to carry out the essential worth animate architecture. The light expresses relative speciality for sense of place recognizes major component which the human being lives in and conform the real meaning of architecture.

울산광역시 초등학교 실내공기오염물질의 환경적 특성에 따른 농도 분석 (Analysis of Indoor Air Pollutants from Elementary School Classrooms with Different Environment in Ulsan, Korea)

  • This study analyzed indoor air pollutants from elementary school with different environment. Air sampling and measurement were carried out from classrooms and hallways from three target elementary schools in the fall and winter seasons. The winter average concentrations of $PM_{10}$, $CO_2$, CO, aldehydes and ketones, and benzene were higher than the fall ones. The fall average concentrations of $O_3$ and $NO_2$ were higher than the winter ones. The concentrations of $PM_{10}$ and $CO_2$ at the schools near the heavy traffic areas and having poor ventilation were higher than those from the other elementary school. The average concentration of CO at the school having heavy traffic volume was highest. The concentrations of $O_3$, $NO_2$, aldehydes and ketones, and VOCs at the school near the shipbuilding industries were highest among the three elementary schools.

  • Activated sludge processes are broadly used in the biological wastewater treatment processes. The activated sludge processes are complex systems because of the many factors such as the variation of influent flowrate and ingredients, the complexity of biological reactions, and the various operation conditions. The main motivation o this research is to develop an intelligent control strategy for activated sludge process (ASP). ASP is a complex and nonlinear dynamic system owing to the characteristic of wastewater, the change in influent flowrate, weather conditions, and so on. The mathematical model of ASP also includes the uncertainty which is a ignored or unconsidered factor from process designers. The ASP model based on Matlabⓡ/Simulinkⓡ is developed in this paper. And the model performance is examined by IWA (International Water Association) and COST (European Cooperation in the filed of Scientific and Technical Research) data. The model tests derive steady-state results of 14 days. In this paper, fuzzy logic control approach is applied to handle DO concentrations. The fuzzy logic controller includes two inputs and one output to adjust air flowrate. The objective function for the optimization, in the implemented evolutionary strategy, is formed with focusing on improving the effluent quality and reducing the operating cost.

로터리 댐퍼의 토오크 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Torque Characteristics of Rotary Dampers)

  • Rotary dampers are damping devices which provide high resistance to shaft rotation. Rotary dampers are being used in various areas to enable the gentle opening and closing of the rotation motion relative to home furniture, industry machinery and automotive parts. Rotary dampers can be installed directly at the rotating point of a various part and can achieve uniform, gentle movement which increases quality and value of products. And generally, the silicone fluid is used as the damping medium because of its stable viscous properties. The movement of these little decelerators can be achieved with a high viscosity of working fluid and throttles installed in the body of the rotary damper. The damping force can be achieved clockwise, anti-clockwise or in both directions according to the structure of the orifices or throttles. In this paper, the torque performances of the rotary damper containing air in the working fluid were studied. For this purpose, the torque characteristic of the rotary damper according to the variation of various operating conditions such as clearance of leakage, dimensions of groove orifice, content ratio of air, etc., were simulated with AMEsim software.

  • The microwave dielectric properties and their related structural characteristics in solid solutions of (1-x) $Ba(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ -x $La(Mg_{2/3}Nb_{1/3})O_3$ (BLMN) have been investigated by measuring the dielectric constant${\varepsilon}r)$, Q value and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency$({\tau}f)$ and by observing the crystal structure using high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Microwave dielectric properties showed characteristic features for specific composition. Dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}r)$ showed maximum value at the composition which corresponds to the phase boundary between 1:2 ordered and 1:1 ordered structure. The increase in ${\varepsilon}_r$ may be caused by the rattling of ions by incorporating smaller ions and the disordered structure. The variation of temperature coefficient of resonant frequency${{\tau}_f)$ was investigated in terms of oxygen octahedra tilting.

  • Medical X-ray has been brought many changes according to the rapid development of high technology. Especially, for high-voltage generator which is the most important in X-ray generation the traditional way is to use high-voltage electric transformers primarily. However, since it is large and heavy and the ripple rate of DC high-voltage applied to X-ray tube is too big, it has a disadvantage of low X-ray production efficiency. To solve these problems, the studies about high-voltage power supply are now proceeding. At present, the high-voltage generator that generates high-voltage by making high frequency using inverter control circuit consisting of semiconductor device is mainly used. High-voltage generator using inverter has advantages in the diagnosis using X-ray including high performance with short-term use, miniaturization of power supply and ripple reduction. In this study, the X-ray high-voltage device with inverter type using pulse width modulation scheme to the control of tube voltage and tube current was designed and produced. For performance evaluation of produced device, the control signal analysis, irradiation dose change and beam quality depending on the load variation of tube voltage and tube current were evaluated.
