종합병원에 입원한 환자의 간호원가 산정에 관한 연구 (Determination of Nursing Costs for Hospitalized Patients Based on the Patient Classification System)

  • A cost analysis for hospitalized patients was carried out based upon Patient Classification System(PCS) in order to determine an appropriate nursing fee. The data were collected from 21 nursing units of three teaching hospitals from April 1 to June 30, 1989. first, all of the 22,056 inpatients were classified into mildly ill(Class Ⅰ), moderately ill(Class Ⅱ), acutely ill(Class Ⅲ), and critically ill(Class Ⅳ) by the PCS which had been carefully developed to be suitable for the Korean nursing units. Second. PCS cost accounting was applied to the above data. The distribution of inpatients, nursing costs, and nursing productivity were as follows : 1) Patient distribution ranged from 45% to class Ⅰ, 36% to class Ⅱ, 15% to class Ⅲ, and 4% to class Ⅳ, the proportion of class Ⅳ in ‘H’ Hospital was greater than that of the other two hospitals. 2) The proportion of Class Ⅲ and Ⅳ in the medical nursing units was greater than that of surgical nursing units. 3) The number of inpatients was greatest on Tuesdays, and least on Sundays. 4) The average nursing cost per hour was W 3,164 for ‘S’ hospital, W 3,511 for ‘H’ hospital and W 4,824 for ‘K’ hospital. The average nursing cost per patient per day was W 14,126 for ‘S’ Hospital, W 15,842 for ‘H’ hospital and W 21,525 for ‘K’ hospital. 5) The average nursing cost calculated by the PCS was W 13,232 for class Ⅰ, W 18,478 for class Ⅱ, W 23,000 for class Ⅲ, and W 25,469 for class Ⅳ. 6) The average nursing cost for the medical and surgical nursing units was W 13,180 and W 13,303 respetively for class Ⅰ, W 18,248 and W 18,707 for class Ⅱ, W 22,303 and W 23,696 for class Ⅲ, and W 24,331 and W 26,606 for class Ⅳ. 7) The nursing costs were composed of 85% for wages and fringe benefits, 3% for material supplies and 12% for overhead. The proportion of wages and fringe benefits among the three Hospitals ranged from 75%, 92% and 98% for the ‘S’, ‘H’, ‘K’ hospitals respectively These findings explain why the average nursing cost of ‘K’ hospital was higher than the others. 8) According to a multi- regression analysis, wages and fringe benefits, material supplies, and overhead had an equal influence on determining the nursing cost while the nursing hours had less influence. 9) The productivity of the medical nursing units were higher than the surgical nursing units, productivity of the D(TS) - nursing units was the lowest while the K(Med) - nursing unit was the highest in 'S' hospital. In ‘H’ hospital, productivity was related to the number of inpatients rather than to the characteristics of the nursing units. The ‘K’ hospital showed the same trend as ‘S’ hospital, that the productivity of the medical nursing unit was higher than the surgical nursing unit. The productivity of ‘S’ hospital was evaluated the highest followed by ‘H’ hospital and ‘K’ hospital. Future research on nursing costs should be extended to the other special nursing areas such as pediatric and psychiatric nursing units, and to ICU or operating rooms. Further, the PCS tool should be carefully evaluated for its appropriateness to all levels of institutions(primary, secondary, tertiary). This study took account only of the quantity of nursing services when developing the PCS tool for evaluating the productivity of nursing units. Future research should also consider the quality of nursing services including the appropriateness of nursing activities.

지속가능발전 및 지속가능발전교육에 대한 대학생과 교사들의 인식 (The Awareness of Teachers and College Students towards Sustainable Development and Education for Sustainable Development)

  • This study was aimed to explore the level of awareness of Korean teachers and college students towards sustainable development(SD) and education for sustainable development(ESD). A survey was conducted to understand the present status of awareness of SD and ESD among 317 college students and 625 teachers in Korea from April to May of 2005. The questionnaire included items asking whether they heard about terms such as sustainability or sustainable development, the source of information on SD, the level of understanding or the urgent task for SD in Korea. It also included questions about experiences in participating in or conducting ESD, the need for ESD, important areas in and the modality for ESD and the willingness to participate in ESD. The results showed that the level of awareness on SD among teachers was low compared to college students, who have a relatively high level of access on SD issues through textbooks and classes in high school. Interestingly, most of college students replied that they never received any ESD, even though they learned SD in class. Both the teacher and student group thought that tile priority of sustainable development should be an 'environment-related' area in the social, economical and environmental perspectives. Most of the students and teachers considered the concept of SD as 'pursuing the balance between environmental protection and economic development.' Some of the teachers recognized the concept of sustainable development in the paradigm of continuous economic development. Both groups responded that the urgent task related to sustainable development is 'environmental protection' and the 'reduction of poverty.' On the other hand, they had experiences in teaching related to natural resources, gender equity, health, human rights, climate changes and other SD issues in class, but not under the name of ESD. They also emphasized 'critical thinking and problem solving & decision-making' in education. Most of the students and teachers responded that it was needed to carry out ESD, and that the way of life for SD would be the priority. It is suggested that various pedagogy and modalities according to various target groups should be considered in providing ESD. It is necessary to use more effective strategies for ESD rather than just introducing the concept of SD. Also, it is needed to review the ESD practices of teachers and improve the quality of education within the scope of ESD.

문화중심 미술교육으로서의 비평학습 (Critical Studies as Culture-based Art Education)

  • This study examined the condition of an educational discourse, relating the concept of creativity, culture, culture-centered, and critical thinking, to explore Culture-based Art Education(CBAE). In particular, art education practice was examined using interpretations of creativity and critical theory positions from the field of education. Discourse analysis was used as the research method to contextually situate and analyze the ways in which art education theory and practice of creativity and of critical studies encoded meanings. The study helped build an understanding that creativity was formed as a modernist discourse in the humanistic stance. In education, creativity became the fundamental concern for progressive educators who pursued innate ability of individuals. The way to enhance creative potential of students was to induce their motive, as was the same case in art education, while in artist training, free expression was its main method. In this way, as creativity was intimately connected with the concept of expression, in art education art making is the only course for enhancing creativity. However, because creative process cannot intelligently be regarded as logically distinct from the creative product, and creativity can only be said by product, it seems valid to think that creativity is the quality not to be achieved by teaching. Furthermore, its emphasis on art making resulted in unbalance of art making and art appreciation in art education. It was the late sixties when several alternatives for creative education were made their appearance. Critical studies in art adopted critical theory as its theoretical background has developed as an alternative of creative art education, when research and theory for creativity could not be adequate to deal with the problem of practice. Critical theory is a broad and diverse field of theory and practice drawing on aspects of the modernist perspective of the later Frankfurt School, feminism, Freirean pedagogy, postcolonial discourse as well as postmodernism to construct a practical approach to education. It is very this eclectic nature to provide the mosaic that need to experience cultures from different perspectives in a pluralistic society. Because one's personality is formed by multiple aspects of culture which is very complex and is made up of what we do and value, creativity cannot make part of educational discourse with the philosophy of culture centered. On the other hand, critical studies, as a school art program of critical theory, can perform the role of CBAE, because it would have to deal with the investigation of social and cultural issues form multiple personal, local, national, and global perspectives.

인재개발 교육프로그램의 평가준거 개발을 위한 기초연구 (Research of Evaluation Criteria for Educational Program of Human Resources Development)

  • 조직구성원의 인재개발을 위한 교육훈련의 관심이 증대되면서 다양한 교육프로그램이 제공 및 보편화되고 있으며, 교육의 정당성 확보와 프로그램에 대한 지속적인 질 관리 차원에서 평가의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 지식정보화 사회에서 요구되고 있는 인재개발 교육프로그램 평가준거 개발의 기초자료를 제공하는데 있으며, 국내 외 문헌고찰과 사례조사를 통하여 과정중심 평가모형인 Stufflebeam의 CIPP(Context, Input, Process, Product)모형에 기반한 인재개발 교육프로그램의 평가준거 대영역을 도출하였으며, 이에 따른 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인재개발 교육프로그램의 상황평가 대영역으로 도출한 평가영역은 요구분석, 목표설정, 조직환경이다. 둘째, 인재개발 교육프로그램의 투입평가 대영역으로 도출한 평가영역은 교육프로그램 전략, 인적자원, 물적자원이다. 셋째, 인재개발 교육프로그램의 과정평가 대영역으로 도출한 평가영역은 교육프로그램 관리, 교수 학습 전략, 교육지원환경이다. 넷째, 인재개발 교육프로그램의 산출평가 대영역으로 도출한 평가영역은 영향력, 효과성, 지속가능성, 전이력이다. 이러한 인재개발 교육프로그램의 평가준거 분석과 대영역 도출에 관한 연구결과는 교육프로그램 평가의 체제적 접근에 기초자료가 될 것으로 판단된다.

중국 남성(中國 男性)의 기성복 정장(旣成服 正裝)에 대한 구매태도(購買態度) 및 사이즈 적합성(適合性)에 관(關)한 실태 조사(實態 調査) - 절강성 영파 지역(浙江省 寧波 地域)을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Survey of Chinese Men's Purchase Attitude and Size Fitness of Ready-Made Suits - Centered on the Area of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province -)

  • With the subjects of male consumers in their 20s to 40s living in the Ningbo area in Zhejiang Province, this study aims to investigate into the reality of their purchase attitude and size fitness of ready-made suits. The results are as follows; Looking into their demographic characteristics, 70.6% of the subjects were twenties, 60.6% were single, and educational career stood in the order of college, middle school, and high school graduation. They were largely absorbed in free trade, followed by teaching, commerce and service industry. 59.6% of them were Zhejiang Province belongs. One to two thousand yuan was the greatest portion of their monthly income. As for their purchase attitude of ready-made suits, they thought higher of material, quality, activity, and solidity than of design. They preferred to buy clothes at a department store. There was significant difference between purchase frequency and purchase price according to monthly income and jobs. Concerning brand recognition, the Chinese subjects favored "Youngor." Though Korea's brands were very lowly recognized, Korean products received really high recognition. Compared with China's brands, they found foreign brands excellent in design, followed by material/matter, wear, and sewing. As to their physical satisfaction and the size fitness of clothes, most subjects felt happy with their sizes. Trousers and jackets were among the unfitting suit items, while the girth of waist was the least satisfactory size. Therefore, in order to raise the market occupation rate of Korean suit goods in China, more aggressive marketing strategies are required to utilize the current Korean-style entertainment and maximize concerning brand images. In particular, outstanding products in consideration of prices should be made through the proper patternmaking to reflect the body types of the Chinese.

목재생산 및 공급에서 임업기계화의 현황 분석 (An Analysis on the Situation of Forestry Mechanization in the Production and Supply of Timber)

  • 목재 생산 및 공급의 활성화를 위한 목재생산작업에서의 현황 및 문제점과 임업기계화사업의 현황 및 효과 등에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 국산목재 생산 및 공급 활성화를 위해서는 임업기계화 사업의 추진, 정책 및 제도 개선, 임도망 확충, 작업원 양성, 목재생산 및 공급체계 개선, 임업기계 보급, 삼림작업시스템 구축, 교육 훈련 등이 필요하였다. 또한, 목재생산 및 공급의 활성화를 위한 정책은 정책목표의 재구축, 정책의 일관성, 법률 및 제도 정비 등이 더욱 필요하였다. 임업기계화 사업의 성과 및 효과를 높이기 위해서는 임업기계화 정책이 더욱 추진되고, 임업기계 장비의 보급과 더불어 교육 및 훈련과 강사능력 배양, 교재개발, 현장 기술지도 등이 시급한 정책이었다. 목재수요자의 선호도를 높이기 위해서는 전목집재를 통해 장재를 생산 공급하고, 국산재 이용도를 높이기 위해서는 낮은 가격과 생산목재의 길이와 직경 등에서 우량재의 생산 공급이 필요하였다.

간호교육에 적용한 가상현실 융합시뮬레이션 연구에 대한 통합적 고찰 (Integrative Review on Nursing education Adopting Virtual Reality Convergence Simulation)

  • 가상현실 융합시뮬레이션을 이용한 교육은 간호에 대한 지식뿐만 아니라 임상간호 실무능력 향상을 위한 새로운 교수법으로 주목받고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 양적, 질적 연구에 대한 통합적 분석방법을 통해 가상현실 융합시뮬레이션을 적용한 간호교육의 효과에 대해 분석하고자 함이다. 총 382편의 연구 중, 논문 질 평가방법을 통해 최종적으로 17편(양적연구 12편, 질적연구 5편)이 선정되었다. 효과적인 가상현실 시뮬레이션 교육을 위한 조건과 지식, 태도, 실천적 측면에서의 가상현실 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과 등 총 네 가지 측면으로 내용을 합성하였다. 효과적인 교육조건 측면에서 가상현실기계 사용에 대한 준비성과 플랫폼에 대한 마스터링, 흥미 있는 시나리오가 필요하였다. 지식, 태도 및 실천적 측면에서의 가상현실 간호교육 융합시뮬레이션의 효과는 간호대학(원)생의 지식 증가 및 유지 연장, 반복학습을 통한 과정 및 순서 암기력 향상, 공감능력 및 친밀감 형성 등의 효과가 나타났다. 따라서 간호교육의 융합시뮬레이션에 가상현실을 적용한다면 교육의 효과는 극대화 될 것이다.

대구시 여고생의 교복변형에 대한 태도 분석 (The Analysis of Students' Attitude toward Uniform Transformation of Female Highschool Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여자 고등학생의 교복변형에 대한 학생의 태도를 분석함으로써 청소년들의 교복변형행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고, 청소년들에게 만족스러우면서도 유행흐름에 부합하는 교복을 제안할 수 있도록 기여하는데 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생의 교복착용에 대한 태도를 살펴본 결과, 교복착용에 대해서는 찬성하는 것으로 나타났으며, 찬성의 이유로는 또래집단과의 동질성을 들었다. 둘째, 교복만족에 대한 학생의 태도를 분석한 결과 대체로 만족이 불만족보다 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 디자인에 대한 만족도가 높았다. 셋째, 교복변형경험을 묻는 질문에서 대부분의 학생이 교복변형 경험이 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 교복 상의의 경우 주로 품과 길이를 줄여 입으며, 하의의 경우 스커트 길이를 늘이고 주름을 뜯어 늘여 입는 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 심층면접을 통해 교복변형의 원인을 조사한 결과, 크게 미적욕구 충족을 위한 변형, 유행을 따라가기 위한 변형, 맞음새를 위한 변형, 실용성을 위한 변형으로 분류되었으며, 미적욕구충족을 위해 변형한다는 의견이 가장 많았고, 맞음새를 위한 변형, 유행을 따르기 위한 변형 순으로 나타났다. 교복 디자인시 고려사항으로는 '맞음새'를 가장 많이 선택하였으며, '디자인', '활동성' 순이었다. 이상과 같이 각급 학교에서는 학생의 의견을 교복선정에 적극 활용하여 학생들의 교복변형을 줄이고, 학생뿐 아니라 교사 학부모들도 모두가 만족하는 교복을 만들기 위한 다각적인 노력이 필요하리라 여겨진다.

전문대학 치위생과 학생의 학과선택 및 실습실에 대한 만족도 (A Study on Post-Admission Satisfaction Level among Dental Hygiene Students in Colleges)

  • The purpose of this study was to help improve the quality of education to keep up with fast-changing environments in educating sector. Relevant literature and data were reviewed, and the subjects in this study were dental hygiene juniors at seven two-year colleges in the Seoul metropolitan area and other regions, on whom a survey was conducted for about three months from August through October, 2004, to assess their satisfaction level with their major and educational environments. And it's concluded that in order to attract more new students and foster qualified students, dental hygiene practice labs should be improved on a large scale, and that there should be a great deal of investment in teaching facilities. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for satisfaction with major choice, 57.5% of the students investigated, the largest percentage, expressed satisfaction with their major. 27.8%, the second largest group, found their choice not to be bad. 2. Regarding satisfaction with the state of practice labs, 41.9% were pleased with practice labs. This rate was quite lower than that of nursing students, as 64.2% of nursing students were pleased with their practice labs.7) 3. As to satisfaction with individual practice labs, oral prophylaxis labs were considered most satisfactory, as 53.9% were satisfied with them. Digital radiation labs appeared to be satisfactory the least, which made 77.0% dissatisfied. 4. Whether there were any connections between their working experience as a clinical worker and satisfaction level was investigated. In terms of their satisfaction with major choice and the state of practice labs, the students who had ever worked as a clinical worker were relatively pleased with the state of practice labs. As for satisfaction with each practice lab, those who had ever served as a clinical worker before being admitted into college expressed more satisfaction with radiation practice labs(p<0.05) and digital radiation labs(p<.05) than the others who hadn't. The gap between the two was statistically significant. 5. In regard to the causes of dissatisfaction with practice labs, 93.7 and 80.0% were respectively dissatisfied with digital radiation labs and basic dental hygiene labs because their colleges were devoid of those labs. 51.6%, the largest group, found oral prophylaxis labs unsatisfactory because of their frequent breakdown. In the event of most of the other practice labs, the greatest percentage were discontented due to a shortage of equipment.

초등학교 컴퓨터 교과서 활용 현황 및 과제 (Current Status and Tasks of the Utilization of Computer Textbooks in Elementary Schools)

  • 정보통신기술 교육 운영지침이 2000년 8월에 발표된 이후 학교 현장에서 정보통신기술 교육이 실시되고 있다. 이에 따라 컴퓨터 교육과정에 대한 연구와 컴퓨터 교과서에 대한 비교 연구는 이루어졌지만 교사와 학생들의 컴퓨터 교과서 활용 현황과 그 관련 인식을 분석한 연구는 실시되지 않았다. 이에 본 연구는 충청북도 내 초등학교 5 6학년 담당 교사와 학생들을 대상으로 컴퓨터 교과서 활용 현황과 교과서의 구성 학습 내용 학습 활동에 관해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 알아보고, 교과서의 질적 개선을 위해 해결해야 할 과제를 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 대부분의 교사가 컴퓨터 교과서를 활용하고 있었으나 그 활용 빈도가 저조했고, 교과서를 그대로 활용하기 보다는 수정.보완하여 활용하고 있었다. 교사들은 교과서와 관련한 여러 영역 중에서 수준별 학습, 재구성 용이성, 체계성, 탐구력과 창의력 신장, 흥미유발, 자기주도적학습 능력 신장, 과제 제시 등에 대해 부정적인 인식을 가지고 있었다. 그에 비해 학생들은 용어에 대해서 부정적인 인식을 가지고 있었다. 개인 변인 중 교사는 주로 연령과 교직 경력에 따라서, 그리고 학생은 성별과 컴퓨터 교과서 활용 빈도에 따라서 유의미한 차이를 보였다.
