  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose the useful method to improve service affective quality by analyzing customer's service experiences and evaluating the satisfaction of the affective sensual responses to physical stimulus. Methods: While customers were experiencing the service, the customers evaluated the subjective satisfaction for the visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory and gustatory senses on a scale of -3 to 3 at each stage of the service process. The customers described the positive and negative feelings about each sensory stimulus, and explained the reason for the subjective evaluation scores. After experiencing the whole service, customers evaluated the affective quality of the whole service. Results: The proposed method was applied to coffee shops. 35 male and female college students were evaluated for 15 coffee shops in Korea. Multiple regression analysis revealed that auditory and olfactory senses had a greater impact on service affective satisfaction than other senses. Conclusion: This method is useful to identify the factors that affect customer's affective quality and to find the target to improve physical environment more easily than existing methods.

  • Purpose: Our purpose in this study is to compare the SERVQUAL, SERVPERF, and non-difference score measures and to find out which one is better for measuring the service quality of the multiplex cinema service. We also aim to analyze the structural relationships between service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Methodology: For the study, we collected data from respondents who have used the multiplex cinema services and conducted an empirical test. SPSS 18.0 was used for descriptive frequency analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis, AMOS 18.0 was used for structural equation modeling analysis of causal relationships among variables introduced in research hypotheses. Results: The main results of this study are as follows. First, we found that the non-difference score measure provided a much better model than did other service-measuring models (SERVQUAL, SERVPERF) in Korean and Chinese multiplex cinema. Second, two service-quality factors (Korea-tangibles and assurance vs. China-tangibles and empathy) between the multiplex cinema service quality factors significantly influenced customer satisfaction, which had a significant effect on customer loyalty in Korean and Chinese multiplex cinema. Conclusions: Based on the results, the authors discuss the implications and limitations of this study and future research directions at the end of the paper.

The results mal provide insights related to the silver market in South Korea. Data were obtained for 286 women in their 50's and 60's living in metropolitan areas in South Korea, and analyzed using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and regression. The results showed that service quality was composed of Facilities Service, Product Service, Salespersons' Service and Policy Service. Shopping values perceived by elderly consumers consisted of two factors: Hedonic Shopping Value, and Utility Shopping Value. Elderly consumers perceived Hedonic Value by Salespersons' Service and Utility Value by Policy Service. • The user increases around the WiBro and in which the mobile broad band service is the wireless internet base technology HSDPA, that is the cellular phone foundation technique, and moreover the issue about the user effective quality guarantee emerges but the quality control of the wireless network is the incomplete actual condition. Therefore, the reliability verification according to the development of the system for the performance measure for the continued wireless data service and it and evaluation are needed for the quality control. In this paper, the wireless data service quality measurement system was implemented with the design. The same test environment as the existing network performance measurement program was built for the reliability verification of the embodied device for measuring quality and evaluation and the cost performance was performed. It could confirm that design and embodied wireless data service quality measurement system operated accurately in this paper through the quality measure result value analysis.

  • The objective of this study is to test Parasurman, Zeithaml & Berry(1985)'s service quality gap analysis model, and to confirm reliability and to confirm reliability and validity of the model. The reliability of the model is adopted, but the validity must be retested in the further study. In the results of the gap analysis model, the correlation between consumer expectations and management perceptions of consumer expectations(gap1) was not accepted. The correlation between management perceptions of consumer expectations and service quality specifications(gap2), the correlation between service quality specifications and the service actually delivered(gap3), and the correlation between services delivered and services promised to consumers(gap4) were accepted. To improve domestic telecommunication service quality, practical guides such as standardization of job roles, cooperation among customer-contact persons, communication between managers and employees, evaluation programs for employee's improvement of service quality, appropriate supports for customer-contact persons were suggested. For generalizing the gap model, additional studies under the different contexts and industries will be needed.

Factors influencing service quality were gender, intimacy level with elderly, type of working place and job satisfaction with $R^2$ value of 17.3%. The most influencing factor was intimacy level (${\beta}$=.249), followed by job satisfaction (${\beta}$=.208), gender (${\beta}$=.170), and type of working place (${\beta}$=.146). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the effort to improve the service quality of care helper should be focused on helping intimacy building between the elderly and the care helper.
