This experimental study was performed to find rpms of the impeller and the surface flow accelerator to make a uniform velocity vertical distribution in the circular water channel. PIV technique was employed to measure the water velocity profiles into the water depth from the free surface. The number of instantaneous velocity profiles was decomposed into mean and turbulence velocity components, and the distribution of velocity fluctuation and turbulence intensity were computed for each experimental condition. From these results, the velocity uniformity was quantitatively determined to present the flow quality in the measuring section of the circular water channel. It has been shown that the proper operation of the surface flow accelerator would make the uniform velocity profiles and reduce the velocity fluctuation near the free surface.

In 1994, the house construction work was separated from design part to prevent incomplete work and to improve quality. During that time, the supervision in the house construction work has made a great development in the quantity phase, but there is no study case about the satisfaction degree of clients on the supervision job. This study presents the improvement schemes of the supervision job rationality, the revision of supervision system and supervisor's improved construction management ability. also, This paper aims at advancing our construction field and enhancing competitive power by seeking for solutions to problems and improving current system to a reasonable supervision in the house construction work comparing and analyzing by questionnaire in Taegu, Kyungbuk area. The further study will be needed about the whole Korean construction market.

In this paper, MPLS Router module supporting Differentiated Service(Diffserv) for quality of Service (QoS) and High-speed switching is proposed and implemented. And we compare and analyze the proposed architecture with the conventional one in terms of CLR (Cell Loss Rate) and average delay. Switch is an extended system of Queue of each VOQ and PHB in the manner of Input Queuing for QoS. Algorithm, Priority-iSLIP is used for its scheduling algorithm. The proposed architecture is modeled in C++ and verified.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic data for architectural planning on the wards and special quality of physical remedy spaces of geriatrics hospital. This research, to analyse dependency degree of inpatients in geriatric hospital, shows relativeness between remedy space and wards, and to show behavior of each patients reaction to there space. Result of interviewed inpatients who were sorted by age, sex, dependency degree, and days in hospital, suitable space programming is to need for physical and mental state. On the bases of survey and analysis, the basic data for planning and design the hospital for the elderly with dementia has been proposed.

Korea's housing polices, which have tended to be focused on quantity rather than quality, have since the 1970s given rise to a housing culture centered on apartment units. Such housing polices have resulted in urban sprawl in the metropolitan areas, and a growing polarization between urban and rural areas. In addition, the issue of "dehumanization" has emerged as a result of the interchangeable urban landscapes and the growing number of high-rise residential buildings. In short, the residential communities of the past, such as towns and villages, have disappeared and been replaced with societies that value individuality and anonymity. The purpose of this paper is to analyze urban structure Gyeongju traditional housing complex. This is to analyze the traditional Hanok residential complex of superiority and characteristics of Gyeongju. This enables future planning should be introduced in Gyeongju hanok.

This study evaluates safety assessment before and after repair of Seonamsa temple seungseon bridge, which refer to the representative Hongye bridge in Korea. In this approach natural frequency of the structure were considered in the modeling procedure. Trial & error method is applied to obtain the approximate natural frequency before and after retrofit construction. Stiffness of the actual structure was examined to account for the dynamic characteristics of Hongye bridge measured in the field and adjusting parameters in computer modeling. The safety and usability of the stone structure in terms of load bearing capacity and displacement were examined.

Spatial configuration of the building quality relationships and reasonable distribution of space by utilizing the Net and Gross area. Like other artificial architectures, the residence is also hard to be changed after once it has ever been built because its life is approximately estimated up to 20years. Furthermore, it may give big effect to residents as the life Quality. Because of these specificities, it seems to be important to forecast how demand of residential market will be changed and what kind of residential environment should be built in the future. First of all, we should consider about what is a current situation of residential environment in this country before beginning researching resident preferences. In addition, we will also research current and new residential style in other country, which should be concerned in. Finally, this study is researched by domestic male and female residents in their twenties and four ties on purpose to gain information what type of resident style they want and to suggest new ways of future residential environment.

Health sub-centers, which have been established at myon areas by government policy, have provided a basic health care services for unfavorable rural conditions. Health sub-centers would be expected to serve for dweller's fundamental needs of primary health care services. But to accomplish it's function and role, the quality of physical facility should be enhanced as well as staff and financial resources. In this research, through the field survey of rural health sub-centers, the problems of facility planning and design were revealed. And then the basic data for architectural planning and design of health sub-centers were provided.
