  • 최근 모바일과 관련된 주요 플랫폼의 등장과 모바일 시장의 지속적인 성장 따라, 더 이상 기존 기업도 모바일 어플리케이션 개발은 선택의 문제가 아님을 인식하여 지속적인 투자를 하고 있다. 하지만 모바일 어플리케이션 시장의 급성장에 비해 품질평가 기준이 명확하지 않아 검증되지 않은 모바일 어플리케이션이 유포되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이 논문에서는 국제표준인 ISO/IEC 9126-2의 품질 메트릭에 기반하여 다양한 모바일 디바이스 환경에서 모바일 어플리케이션의 성능에 대한 품질평가 방안을 제시하고 있다.

  • Combining collaborative filtering with some other technique is most common in hybrid recommender systems. As many recommended items from collaborative filtering seem to be similar with respect to content, the collaborative-content hybrid system suffers in terms of quality recommendation and recommending new items as well. To alleviate such problem, we have developed a novel method that uses a diversity metric to select the dissimilar items among the recommended items from collaborative filtering, which together with the input when fed into content space let us improve and include new items in the recommendation. We present experimental results on movielens dataset that shows how our approach performs better than simple content-based system and naive hybrid system

  • Temperature adaptability is an important metric for evaluating the performance of an optical system. The temperature characteristics of the optical system are closely related to the material and shape of its lens. In this paper, we establish a mathematical model relating the temperature characteristics to the shape and material of the lens. Then a novel assembly structure that can solve the lens constraint and positioning problem is proposed. From those basics, the correctness of the theoretical model and the effectiveness of the assembly structure are verified through simulated analysis of the imaging quality of the optical system, whose operating temperature range is $-60{\sim}100^{\circ}C$.

Improving Abstractive Summarization by Training Masked Out-of-Vocabulary Words

  • Text summarization is the task of producing a shorter version of a long document while accurately preserving the main contents of the original text. Abstractive summarization generates novel words and phrases using a language generation method through text transformation and prior-embedded word information. However, newly coined words or out-of-vocabulary words decrease the performance of automatic summarization because they are not pre-trained in the machine learning process. In this study, we demonstrated an improvement in summarization quality through the contextualized embedding of BERT with out-of-vocabulary masking. In addition, explicitly providing precise pointing and an optional copy instruction along with BERT embedding, we achieved an increased accuracy than the baseline model. The recall-based word-generation metric ROUGE-1 score was 55.11 and the word-order-based ROUGE-L score was 39.65.

  • The accuracy of real-time video analysis system based on 3D skeleton data highly depends on the quality of data. This study proposes a methodology to distinguish noise in 3D skeleton frames using Intersection Over Union (IOU) method. IOU is metric that tells how similar two rectangles (i.e., boxes). Simply, the method decides a frame as noise or not by comparing the frame with a set of valid frames. Our proposed method distinguished noise in 3D skeleton frames with the accuracy of 99%. According to the result, our proposed method can be used to track noise in 3D skeleton frames.

  • Computer are being used in an increasingly wide variety of application areas, and their correct operation is often critical for business success and humasn safety. Developing high quality software products is therefore of prime important. The recent game software become popular, so we are interest in the game software testing. According to the kinds of game software, because it has the different characters, so game software testing is very difficult. According to enviroment change, Recently, online game is popular, so online game trade in the world market. In the company, developers try to develop the reliable game software. But we can experience many fault of game software in spite of the beta testing. Especially, Testing is very difficult on the game software because of various environment and functionality. We tried the survey for game user. In this paper, we study the quality testing metric of game software fault basis on the ISO/IEC 9126. Also, we consist of the check list of game software a point of view user. It apply for the reliability testing metrics of ISO/IEC 9126.

A Tile-Image Merging Algorithm of Tiled-Display Recorder using Time-stamp (타임 스탬프를 이용한 타일드 디스플레이 기록기의 타일 영상 병합 알고리즘)

  • The tiled-display system provides a high resolution display which can be used in different applications in co-working area. The systems used in the co-working field usually save the user logs, and these log information not only makes the maintenance of the tiled-display system easier, but also can be used to check the progress of the co-working. There are three main steps in the proposed tiled display log recorder. The first step is to capture the screen shots of the tiles and send them for merging. The second step is to merge the captured tile images to form a single screen shot of the tiled-display. The final step is to encode the merged tile images to make a compressed video stream. This video stream could be stored for the logs of co-working or be streamed to remote users. Since there could be differences in capturing time of tile images, the quality of merged tiled-display could be degraded. This paper proposes a time stamp-based metric to evaluate the quality of the video stream, and a merging algorithm that could upgrade the quality of the video stream with respect to the proposed quality metrics.

  • The present method of measuring QoE (Quality of Experience) was to measure the whole block from the server that provides service to the terminal that the client gets the service. In this way, it was possible to simply determine whether the quality of QoE was good or not, and when the quality of QoE became bad, there was no way of presenting solutions. Also, as QoE metrics are numerous, there has been no strict regulation on how to use. This study analyzed QoE metrics in the viewpoints of network and clients, subdivided the whole service into three phases including one from the server providing the service to the router, another from the router to the terminal getting the service, and the third from the service router to the client router, and presented QoE metric frames appropriate for each phase. Through this, in the KOREN-CERNET environment, this study designed and embodied QoE network and demonstrated stability of QoE network, reduction in client complaint settlement time, and content adjustment effect according to the network change.

  • Recently, International Maritime Organization has been developing e-navigation implementation strategy plan, which is focused on various services for vessel safety navigation. Then, different kinds of software will be developed in maritime area and with this, the quality issues are to be expected becoming more important. In this paper, we adopt software refactoring techniques to reduce the complexity of structure on source code level. It makes software program more effective to understand and modify, without any change of outward behavior. The existing AIS broadcast server program is used as an example for our trial, and calculating coupling and cohesion metric are introduced to analyze the refactoring effect, taking account of the maintainability of IEC/ISO9126 software quality standards.

  • Document page segmentation is an important step in building a quality optical character recognition module. The study examined already existing work on the topic of page segmentation and focused on the development of a segmentation model that has greater functional significance for application in an organization, as well as broad capabilities for managing the quality of the model. The main problems of document segmentation were highlighted, which include a complex background of intersecting objects. As classes for detection, not only classic text, table and figure were selected, but also additional types, such as signature, logo and table without borders (or with partially missing borders). This made it possible to pose a non-trivial task of detecting non-standard document elements. The authors compared existing neural network architectures for object detection based on published research data. The most suitable architecture was RetinaNet. To ensure the possibility of quality control of the model, a method based on neural network modeling using the RetinaNet architecture is proposed. During the study, several models were built, the quality of which was assessed on the test sample using the Mean average Precision metric. The best result among the constructed algorithms was shown by a model that includes four neural networks: the focus of the first neural network on detecting tables and tables without borders, the second - seals and signatures, the third - pictures and logos, and the fourth - text. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the approach based on four neural networks showed the best results in accordance with the objectives of the study on the test sample in the context of most classes of detection. The method proposed in the article can be used to recognize other objects. A promising direction in which the analysis can be continued is the segmentation of tables; the areas of the table that differ in function will act as classes: heading, cell with a name, cell with data, empty cell.
