연구배경: 수술적 치료가 필요한 척추관 협착증 환자들은 주로 60세 이상의 고령환자로 장기간의 입원 시 기회 감염의 증대와 불필요한 의료비의 증대를 가져오게 되며, 수술 후 환자들의 재원일수의 증가는 병원의 병상가동률을 감소시키고, 전공의에게는 불필요한 업무를 증가시킨다. 연구목적: 비용 효과면에서 최적화된 진료 지침의 개발은 불필요한 의료비의 감소 및 Hospital Induced Complication을 줄여 환자 만족도를 증진시킬 수 있으며, 각 환자에 대한 전공의 업무를 줄일 수 있다. 의료기관: 서울특별시에 소재한 2,075병상의 종합전문요양기관 연구방법: 정형외과 및 신경외과의 척추관 협착증 환자의 처방을 비교하여 최적의 표준진료지침을 개발하고 최종적으로 CP Master Program(EMR 프로그램)에 입력하여 환자에게 적용하였다. 연구결과: CP 적용 전, 후 비교를 통해 재원일수는 3.8일이 감소하였으며, 이에 따라 병상 가동률 및 진료수익이 증가했으리라고 예상되며 현재 비교 검토 중이다. 또한, CP 개발 및 CP Master Program의 사용을 통한 전공의 업무 감소에 대해 검토하고 있다.

In this study, a wire/wireless communication system transmitting the operation data of engine from the ER (Engine Room) to the engine controller of ECR(Engine Control Room) has been developed through the communication of ISM(Industrial Science Medical) Band for the test operation environment improvement of medium speed engine. This wire/wireless communication system is composed of the RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) gathering and transmitting engine data as well as the MCU (Master Control Unit) receiving engine status information from the RTU to be sent to the engine controller (PLC). Through this study, a trial product of RTU and MCU has been manufactured. A test bench that has made temperature, pressure and pick-up sensor into a module for the local test of prototype was produced a test bench. In addition, at the same time save the data to a Web server and the smart phone real-time monitoring system has been developed using Wi-Fi communications. The ultimate objective of this study is to develop a wireless smart phone monitoring system of engine for the operator of engine to be able to monitor and control engine status even from the outside of engine room and control room based on this study.

This paper proposes an efficient and differentiated MAC scheduling algorithm for Bluetooth systems. The proposed algorithm guarantees QoS (Quality of Service) requirement of each master-slave pair or application. Conventional MAC scheduling algorithms for Bluetooth take priority of each pair into consideration and demonstrate relatively reasonable performance. However, their performances may depend on traffic characteristic, or they are limited by overheads for signaling. In this paper, we propose a new MAC scheduling algorithm superior to the conventional algorithms from the viewpoints of throughput, delay, and supporting QoS. Our proposed algorithm is evaluated via computer simulations under various environments and compared with the conventional scheduling algorithms. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm shows better performance than the existing algorithms, and can support the QoS demand of each pair.

High-power quasi-continuous-wave (qcw) operation in Yb-doped double-clad fiber lasers with near-diffraction-limited quality of the output beam is reported. Based on numerical simulation, we built a simple, all-fiberized Yb fiber laser, and a fiber-based master-oscillator power amplifier (MOPA). Both laser systems have successfully produced qcw output with average power greater than 150 W at 1080 nm and 10 ms pulse duration at 10 Hz repetition rate, corresponding to a peak power greater than 1.5 kW for 205 W of pump power at 976 nm. Laser performance, including beam quality and slope efficiency, was characterized in both configurations. Prospects for power scaling and applications are discussed.

Changes in symptoms and dysfunction related to meniscus tears following the use of Korean medicine for ≥ 4 days were studied. The medical charts of 53 cases of diagnosed meniscus tears (magnetic resonance imaging) with an admission Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) score ≥ 4, between 2017 and 2022 were retrospectively reviewed. Treatments included acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal treatment, Chuna therapy, and physiotherapy. The NRS, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index, and European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions were performed at admission and discharge. There were 42 females and 11 males in this study. Patients were more likely to be in their 60s (38.18%), have an unknown etiology (81.13%), and have complex tears (50.94%). After receiving a combination of alternative Korean medicine during hospitalization, the mean NRS score improved from 6.82 ± 1.19 to 3.66 ± 1.83 (p < 0.001), the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index score improved from 46.47 ± 20.99 to 37.98 ± 19.23 (p < 0.001), and the mean European Quality of Life Five Dimensions score improved from 0.61 ± 0.18 to 0.68 ± 0.14 (p < 0.001) after treatment. These results suggest that Korean medicine treatment of meniscus tears alleviated pain and improved physical function.

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Cheong-A-Won Gagambang (JCE003) treatment for degenerative knee osteoarthritis. Methods: This was a single-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot clinical trial. There were 36 adults with degenerative knee osteoarthritis who were randomly allocated into JCE003 1,000 mg, JCE003 2,000 mg, or the placebo group (in a 1:1:1 ratio). The participants received 12 weeks of treatment and had scheduled tests every 6 weeks. The primary outcomes were measured using the Korean Western Ontario and McMaster Universities scale, and the secondary outcomes were measured using the visual analog scale, European quality of life-5-dimensions, patient global impression of change, C-reactive protein, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Changes between baseline scores and scores following study completion were analyzed. Results: There were 29 participants whose data were analyzed in this study. The change of Korean Western Ontario and McMaster Universities, visual analog scale, European quality of life-5-dimensions scores showed significant improvement in the JCE003 1,000 mg group. The change of patient global impression of change was significantly improved in the placebo group. There were 14 adverse events, but there was no clinically significant relationship with the intake of JCE003 compared with the placebo. Conclusion: Taking JCE003 may be effective at improving knee pain in patients with degenerative knee osteoarthritis and appears to be safe. Based on this study, the concentration and feasibility of the test group may be used when conducting a large-scale clinical trial of degenerative knee osteoarthritis in the future.

This study on CRM oftKorean restaurant guests to test the emotional response and behavioral intention. Three kinds of variables(service quality, information quality, system quality) from Korean restaurant guests were set to test the CRM. Results of the multiple regression analysis revealed a positive significant relationship with respect to quality of service, quality information, and quality system with all customer emtional reaction. Second, the results also found that the three independent variables of quality of service (${\beta}=.104$, P<.01), information quality (${\beta}=.215$, P<.001), and system quality (${\beta}=.682$, P<001) had a significant positive effect on the dependent variable for customer behavior (+). Third, CRM quality of service, quality information, and quality of the restaurant system are shown to influence the behavior and it also showed that both the part-mediated effects.

There is increasing interest in freshly cut products, that is, foods produced without washing and cutting. In this study, the quality of freshly cut sliced Deodeok was compared with that of what based on its washing methods. In bubble washing, the Deodeok rises to the water surface apace and is broken into centimeter sizes. Microbubble washing calls for the production of a great number of 0.1 mm-sized bubbles in anions-bearing water and their passing through a trumpet-shaped hole at a high pressure. To compare the product deterioration rates of the specimens, they were stored at $10^{\circ}C$ for 10 days. In the specimens washed with the control method and with hand washing, the deterioration rate was 80%; and in the specimens washed with bubble and microbubble washing, 20~30%. The L-value (an index of browning) was higher in the bubble and microbubble washing than in the control and the hand washing, which implies that browning was minimized during the storage. As for the viable cell and coliform group counts that were measured during the storage, the specimens washed with the control method showed the highest values. In contrast, the specimens washed with microbubble washing showed the lowest values. In the sensory test, the specimens washed with microbubble were highest in storage preference. In conclusion, the Deodeok that was stored after it was washed with microbubble washing was found to have had the best quality.

This study investigates the future direction of service training performance and employment of service oriented employees by examining the element of personality which affects the results of service training performance. The empirical analysis of the study is as follows: First, regarding the effect of an employee's personality on the results of service training performance, ambition and prudence influenced their training performance. Second, according to the verification of whether the number of service training could affect the relation between personality and service training performance, it was found that ambition, sociability, and intellectual curiosity were moderated effect. Third, a study on whether the academic qualification of employees could affect the relation between personality and service training results showed that it had no relation with academic backgrounds.

Internationally Present-day, the paradigm in rural community is changing to continually prospering rural community. So, it's time to provide the vision of new rural life. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic plan which can revitalize the rural area and improve the living standards of the inhabitants. The range of this study is restricted to Sam-Sin village in Hadong and from Feb. 2002 to May 2002. We arranged the outline of 'new rural community development project' and investigated the present state of the village by spot survey. Through the study, we suggest green-tea which can increase the life quality of inhabitants and achieve the prosperity of the village at the same time. We expect the results of this study can realize the Green Tourism and establish the identity of village caused by green-tea cultural festival.
