Background : This study presented an analysis of healthcare quality indicators using data mining and a development of decision support system for quality improvement. Method : Specifically, important factors influencing the key quality indicators were identified using a decision tree method for data mining based on 8,405 patients who discharged from a medical center during the period between December 1, 2000 and January 31, 2001. In addition, a decision support system was developed to analyze and monitor trends of these quality indicators using a Visual Basic 6.0. Guidelines and tutorial for quality improvement activities were also included in the system. Result : Among 12 selected quality indicators, decision tree analysis was performed for 3 indicators ; unscheduled readmission due to the same or related condition, unscheduled return to intensive care unit, and inpatient mortality which have a volume bigger than 100 cases during the period. The optimum range of target group in healthcare quality indicators were identified from the gain chart. Important influencing factors for these 3 indicators were: diagnosis, attribute of the disease, and age of the patient in unscheduled returns to ICU group ; and length of stay, diagnosis, and belonging department in inpatient mortality group. Conclusion : We developed a decision support system through analysis of healthcare quality indicators and data mining technique which can be effectively implemented for utilization review and quality management in a healthcare organization. In the future, further number of quality indicators should be developed to effectively support a hospital-wide Continuous Quality Improvement activity. Through these endevours, a decision support system can be developed and the newly developed decision support system should be well integrated with the hospital Order Communication System to support concurrent review, utilization review, quality and risk management.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose useful suggestions by analyzing difference of financial performance between "Excellent Quality Competitiveness Enterprise(EQCE)" awarding companies and all the manufacturing companies during the period 2003-2014 and by testing the moderating effects of performance year. Methods: This paper perform the longitudinal study during the period 2003-2014. The collected data through list of National Quality Award and financial report of CRETOP were analyzed using independent-sample t-test, paired-sample t-test, one way ANOVA and empirical analysis. Results: The results of this study are as follows; EQCE showed higher growth rate than all the companies until 2008, but profitability, stability, and activity are not significantly different between the both. Therefore EQCE have partial influences on growth rate among several financial performance measures until 2008. Since 2009 there are no differences. The effects of EQCE on financial performance are different by the year. Conclusion: EQCE award system was a meaningful promotion method to enhance good financial performance through encouraging quality management for the manufacturing companies until 2008, But since 2009 it is expected to lose its role as a promoting tool for quality management and performance excellence. Therefore new way of thinking for EQCE, as a national quality award system, is necessary; changing awarding system, award criteria, or etc.

In the era of web2.0, Internet users can communicate each other on open platforms(e-mail, Naver Knowledge-In. Cyworld, Wikipedia, and blog etc.). The author investigate the impact of web2.0 user's perceived value. affective commitment. brand equity on loyalty intention. The results suggest that excellent service quality will be alternative solving in web2.0 business environment.

본 연구는 혈액투석환자의 신체활동량 수준이 우울, 건강관련 삶의 질 및 수면장애에 미치는 융합적 요인을 조사하고자 실시하였다. 대상자는 2개 도시에 소재한 5개 혈액투석실에서 혈액투석을 시행받는 193명의 혈액투석환자들이었다. 자료 분석은 기술적 통계, 상관관계와 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 상관관계의 결과는 우울과 신체활동량은 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였고(r = -.259, p <.01), 신체적 및 정신적 건강관련 삶의 질과 신체활동량은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다(r = .273, p <.01, r = .186, p <.01). 위계적 회귀분석 결과는 신체적 건강관련 삶의 질이 높을수록 혈액투석환자의 신체활동량 수준은 더 높은 것으로 조사되었다(${\beta}=.22$, p <.01). 따라서 혈액투석환자의 신체활동량을 증진시켜서 건강관련 삶의 질을 향상시키는 중재프로그램의 개발이 필요하리라 사료된다.

우리나라는 공공기관과 지방 자치단체에서 생산된 국가 공간정보를 통합관리하고 공동 활용하기 위한 목적으로 국가공간정보통합체계를 구축하였다. 다른 기관에서 구축된 정보가 국가 차원에서 통합 관리됨에 따라 통합된 국가공간정보의 체계적인 품질관리 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국가공간정보통합체계의 품질관리시스템 구축을 위한 업무 프로세스 재설계(BPR: Business Process Reengineering) 수립을 다룬다. 품질관리 업무를 품질관리 대상정의, 품질측정, 평가 및 분석, 품질개선 프로세스로 정의하고, 각 프로세스 별 활동(Activity)을 설계한다. 품질관리 업무를 수행하기 위해서는 오류여부를 판단하기 위한 업무적 규칙(BR: Business Rule)이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기본공간정보 중 법정동, 철도경계, 철도중심, 도로경계, 도로중심, 그리고 건물 등 6개에 대하여 BR을 도출한다. 다른 공간정보에 대한 BR은 본 논문에서 제시된 도출 방법을 사용하여 만들어 질 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서 수립된 BPR과 도출된 BR을 기반으로 향후 국가공간정보체계 품질관리 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

경제 환경의 변화로 무한경쟁시대에서 생존하기 위하여 중소기업은 자체기업경쟁력을 확보해야하는 당면과제가 대두되고 있다. 정부는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 1992년부터 품질경영(QM:Quality Management)제도를 새로운 시대 환경에 걸맞은 대안으로 택하여 확산시켜 나가고 있다. 본 연구에서는ISO 9000을 통하여 품질경영을 도입한 300인 이하 제조업체를 대상으로 ISO 900 인증 취득 후의 효과에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과 ISO 9000 인중 취득 후 기업경영에 상당한 도움이 되고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 인증취득기업은 IMF이후 국·내외의 환경변화에 적절히 대응하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 ISO 9000 품질시스템 구축은 부서간 Network를 신속하게 연결시켜 줌으로써 고객 Needs를 파악할 수 있었으며, 기업경영의 체질개선 정비와 제품 품질의 향상, 부문의 업무 능률 둥이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 ISO 9000 품질시스템 인증은 21세기를 대비하는 기업경영을 실현하는데 중요한 전략이라 할 수 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the strategic direction of organizations and their employees to efficiently utilize smart factories and enhance business performance among Korean manufacturing companies. Research design, data, and methodology: We derived a structured research model to check the mediated effect of utilization of smart factory between the characteristics of smart factory and the innovation activities. Results: Quality characteristics of smart factory and Innovation activities were all found to have a statistically significant effect on utilization of smart factory, utilization of smart factory was found to have a statistically significant effect on the business performance. And it has been shown that the utilization of smart factory is partially mediated relative to the quality characteristics of smart factory and business performance and relative to innovation activities and business performance. Conclusions: Smart factory builders can reflect the areas that affect utilization of the smart factory in their strategies by considering the quality characteristics of the smart factory and innovation Activities. Therefore, smart factory builders can identify the quality characteristics of smart factory and reflect them in the process and analyze active utilize measures through the innovative activities of the employees of the organization, thereby influencing business performance.

The main purpose of this study is to assess the relationship between communication satisfaction and group creativity. To achieve this purpose, this study has two objectives. First, I will identify the relationship between the satisfaction of communication and idea creation. Second, the relationship between communication satisfaction and problem solving activity will be statistically tested. The major findings of the study can be summarized as follows: First, Statistically significant positive relations were found between the communication satisfaction and idea creation. Especially, sub-construct for supervisor communication$({\beta}=0.14,\;p<.05)$, quality of media$({\beta}=0.13,\;p<.05)$, individual feedback$({\beta}=0.36,\;p<.001)$, organizational prospect$({\beta}0.31,\;p<.001)$ showed the statistically significant positive(+) relationship with construct in idea creation. Second, the measurement of communication satisfaction had showed statistically significant relationship with the problem solving activity. Especially, communication with supervisor$({\beta}=0.21,\;p<.05)$, quality of media$({\beta}=0.21,\;p<.001)$, organizational prospects$({\beta}=0.22,\;p<.001)$, and communication with subordinate$({\beta}=0.37,\;p<.001)$ showed the significant positive(+) relationship with problem solving activity construct. These consequences suggest that communication satisfaction of employee is effective in the improving the group creativity in organization. In the conclusion, this study present the satisfaction factor of employee communication as a incremental factor of group creativity.

The purpose of this empirical study is to examine the effects of middle-aged married women’s attitude and activity for leisure upon their life satisfaction. The samples were composed of 388 married women between 40 years and 59 years old, selected by age and local distribution. As the major findings of this study, the most decisive factors to enhance the life satisfaction are found as follows: First, the behavioral factor among the leisure attitudes is most affective to highten the life satisfaction. Second, self-development activity, friend-making activity and home-oriented activity are the most decisive factors in the category of participation rate of leisure activities. Third, in the types of leisure activities, leisure activity with husbands is the most affecting. Also, the economic factor of the samples was the most significant factor to affect the life satisfaction. The findings of this study provide some implications regarding the policies on the leisure facilities, leisure education programs, the governmental and social supporting systems, and the spontaneous efforts of women themselves to enhance the quality of life of the middle-aged married women.

Software quality is classified by quality of process and product. In experience of Quality Management, it is known that quality level of product as it depends on goodness and badness of process and organization. As a result, improvement of software process has been important subject. According as this trends, ISO 12207 is publicated as standard of software life cycle process by ISO. For UML based object oriented development process, it is necessary that we should research detailed definition of activity and task of ISO 12207 process which is added, deleted or tailored in according to organization and project characteristics. In this thesis, by according with ISO 12207 software life cycle process, UML based object oriented development process is proposed. This process is composed of 7 steps and 19 activities including development phase, activity and product to improve quality of reliability. Usefulness of object oriented process for improvement of software quality is proved at three ways, which are comparative analysis of process characteristics, SPICE process evaluation and SPICE rick analysis.
