The sensor network technology for core technology of ubiquitous computing is in the spotlight recently, the research on sensor network is proceeding actively which is composed many different sensor node. USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) is the network that widely applies for life of human being. It works out to sense, storage, process, deliver every kind of appliances and environmental information from the stucktags and sensors. And it is possible to utilize to measure and monitor about the place of environmental pollution which is difficult for human to install. It's studied constantly since it be able to compose easily more subminiature, low-power, low-cost than previous one. And also it spotlights an important field of study, graft the green IT and IT of which the environment and IT unite stragically onto the Network. The problem for the air pollution in the office or the indoor except a specific working area is the continuously issue since the human beings have lived in the dwelling facilities. Measures for that problem are urgently needed. It's possible to solve for the freshair of outside with enough ventilation but that is the awkward situation to be managed by person. This study is the system engineering to management for indoor air condition under the sensor network. And research for efficiently manage an option.
Current mobile devices have surpassed its boundaries as a more communication tool to a smart device which provides additional features. These features have supported the smart life of its users, but have reached its limit from low-performance processors and short-battery time. These issues can be resolved b implementing higher performing hardware, but they come with a burden of high cost. This paper introduces a new way of managing computing resources in a mobile device by enhancing the quality of human-computer interaction. The real-speed felt by users are mainly influenced by the time it takes form a user's input to the device to display the completed result on the screen. Since the size of the screen for mobile devices are small, if the processor only fetch data to be used for displaying on screen, the time can be significantly reduced. MVC+Prefetch Controller pattern accomplished this goal by using the minimum amount of data from DB to fetch display and still manages to support high-speed data transfer to achieve seamless display. This idea has been realized by practice using Samsung mobile phone S8500, which demonstrated the superior performance on user's perspective.

This study investigated the perception and attitude to leftover food at school food service by the questionnaire survey of the elementary school students in Gwangju area. The school food service satisfaction was neutral and school food service cost and quality was satisfactory. The dissatisfaction of school food service was shown as unkind staffs and a shortage for fruit and beverage. The kinds of leftover food were seasoned vegetables and kimchi. The reasons for leftover food were unfavorite food and the frequency was shown as once or twice a week. For the order of eating food, the subject first ate food they had tried. The highest kind of an unbalanced diet was beans and minor grains. To reduce food waste, many students perceived that tasty food, education by a class teacher in class that it could pollute environment and do us damage, recycling as livestock feed, 'No Plate Waste Day' organized by school would be a feasible method to reduce food waste. The nutrient intake of eaten food was significantly higher for all nutrients in the group receiving food waste education than the control group (p<0.001).

The control of wastewater treatment has two merits; one is to regulate water quality of effluent and the other is to reduce the cost of wastewater treatment. The purpose of this study was to control the ammonium nitrogen in effluent that is known to cause eutrophication. The control was based on simplified ASM No. 1 which had 3 component materials and 8 coefficients, and the control method was as following. Firstly the ammonium concentration of inflow was measured and the optimal aeration time in effluent was determined according to simplified ASM No. 1 to be 1.0 mg/L. If ammonium concentration of effluent was not equal to 1.0 mg/L, the influent ammonium was corrected by adaptive control. These processes above were repeatedly performed. The SBR running aerobic-anoxic phase had been controlled for 1 month with this method. As a result, the ammonium concentration of the effluent showed in the range of $0.22\sim3.1$ mg/L with an average concentration of 1.1 mg/L. The adaptive control method used in this study was found very useful to control and predict the effluent concentration of ammonium.

The present study investigated the nutritional and economic suitability of cashew reject meal (full fat and defatted) as replacement for groundnut cake (GNC) in the diets of laying chickens. A total of eighty four brown shavers at 25 weeks of age were randomly allotted into seven dietary treatments each containing 6 replicates of 2 birds each. The seven diets prepared included diet 1, a control with GNC at $220gkg^{-1}$ as main protein source in the diet. Diets 2, 3 and 4 consist of gradual replacement of GNC with defatted cashew reject meal (DCRM) at 50%, 75% and 100% on weight for weight basis respectively while diets 5, 6 and 7 consist of gradual inclusion of full fat cashew reject meal (FCRM) to replace 25%, 35% and 50% of GNC protein respectively. Each group was allotted a diet in a completely randomized design in a study that lasted eight weeks during which records of the chemical constituent of the test ingredients, performance characteristics, egg quality traits and economic indicators were measured. Results showed that the crude protein were 22.10 and 35.4% for FCRM and DCRM respectively. Gross energy of DCRM was 5035 kcal/kg compared to GNC, 4752 kcal/kg. Result of aflatoxin $B_1$ revealed moderate level between 10 and $17{\mu}g/Kg$ in DCRM and GNC samples respectively. Birds on control gained 10 g, while those on DCRM and FCRM gained about 35 g and 120 g respectively. Feed intake declined (P < 0.05) with increased level of FCRM. Hen day production was highest in birds fed DCRM, followed by control and lowest value (P < 0.05) was recorded for FCRM. No significant change (P > 0.05) was observed for egg weight and shell thickness. Fat deposition and cholesterol content increased (P > 0.05) with increasing level of FCRM. The cost of feed per kilogram decreased gradually with increased inclusion level of CRM. The prediction equation showed the relative worth of DCRM compared to GNC was 92.3% whereas the actual market price of GNC triples that of DCRM. It was recommended that GNC could be completely replaced by DCRM in layer's diets in regions where this by product is abundant. However, FCRM should be cautiously used in diets of laying chickens.

To cope with the increased demand on the intra-city transportation by urban rails, the introduction of the light rail transit (LRT) systems has been expedited in Korea due to the possible reduction of both the development and operation costs from adopting LRT systems. The LRT systems have so far been designed, constructed and operated based on the corresponding law and regulations. It has been conceived that fully complying with the existing guidelines may incur some extra costs on LRT. In addition, the present design of LRT stations seems to require unnecessarily long flow of passengers traffic, particularly for disabled people. In this paper, as an approach to solving the aforementioned issues, an introduction of 'LRT stops' has been studied where the stops are similar in concept to bus stops and are intended to replace the stations of a bigger scale in general. Specifically, necessary guidelines for design have been developed by modifying the existing ones to be fit with LRT stops. A design case was also presented to evaluate them. The effective use of the results reported here will provide an opportunity of cost reduction in connection with the construction and operation, and also let people benefit from convenient use of rails, thereby resulting in enhanced transportation welfare.

This study discusses a remote control torch system equipped with a GMAW double wire reel. The welding machine is 30m away from the wire feeder at the industrial site and the feeder is three to five meters away from the torch. Accordingly, the welders cannot control the current and voltage that meets the welding condition during work when they are working at a place that prevents them from seeing the control panel, such as inside a vehicle or tank or at a far work site. They also have no choice but to stop working to change the wire reel when it is burned out completely. Such work suspension resulting from frequent moves to adjust the current and voltage as well as to replace the wire and subsequent cooling causes welding defects. This study produced a remote control torch equipped with a double wire reel by simplifying and streamlining the existing GMAW functions to reduce the troubling issue. The remote control torch equipped with a double wire reel and the existing $CO_2$ /MAG welding torch were applied as a V-groove butt in the vertical position using 6mm rolled steel for a SM50A welding structure. After welding, the condition of welded surface beads underwent a visual inspection and radiographic inspection to analyze the welding quality inside the welded part. This study also evaluated the reduction of welding defects, cost saving, the replacing performance against the existing commercial welders, and the effects on possible compatibility.

The problems related with blood supply shortage and the stability of blood transfusion are on the rise, as it is expected that the blood doners will decrease but the blood use amount for aged population will increase, owing to low birth and aged population increase. The purpose of this study is to analyze the hospital characteristics which affect patients receiving and non-receiving blood transfusion for the knee and hip total replacement arthroplasty. Data were collected from Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service's 2011 sample data, and 5,370 inpatients were abstracted from them. Logistic regression analysis was performed, using SPSS 20. Independent variables used are hospital characteristics variables and patient characteristics variables. Hospital characteristics variables are hospital type, ownership, residence and the number of usable beds, and patient characteristics variables are gender, age, severity, type of anesthesia, main diagnosis, whether or not of anemia and insurance class. At the result of this study, it was found that hospital type, region, gender, age, severity, main diagnosis and whether or not of anemia were the factors that mostly affected the blood transfusion for knee arthroplasty. And hospital type, residence, gender, age, severity, type of anesthesia and whether of not of anemia were the factors that mostly affected the blood transfusion for hip arthroplasty. In addition to that, it is expected that this research which analyzed the present state of blood transfusion and its influence factors are cost effective, and would make a good use of preliminary data for good quality of medical service.
Integrated services networks should guarantee end-to-end delay bounds for real-time applications to provide high quality services. A real-time scheduler is installed on all the output ports to provide such guaranteed service. However, scheduling algorithms studied so far have problems with either network utilization or scalability. Here, network utilization indicates how many real-time sessions can be admitted. In this paper, we propose service curve allocation schemes that result in both high network utilization and scalability in a service curve algorithm. In service curve algorithm, an adopted service curve allocation scheme determines both network utilization and scalability. Contrary to the common belief, we have proved that only a part of a service curve is used to compute deadlines, not the entire curve. From this fact, we propose service curve allocation schemes that result in a constant time for computing deadlines. We through a simulation study that our proposed schemes can achieve better network utilizations than Generalized processor Sharing (GPS) algorithms including the multirate algorithm. To our knowledge, the service curve algorithm adopting our schemes can achieve the widest network utilization among existing scheduling algorithms that have the same scalability.
Today, many services and products that used to be only provided on offline have been being provided on the web according to the improvement of computing environment and the activation of web usage. These web-based services and products tend to be provided to customer by customer's preferences. This paradigm that considers customer's opinions and features in selecting is called personalization. The related research field is a recommendation. And this recommendation is performed by recommender system. Generally the recommendation is made from the preferences and tastes of customers. And recommender system provides this recommendation to user. However, the recommendation techniques have a couple of problems; they do not provide suitable recommendation to new users and also are limited to computing space that they generate recommendations which is dependent on ratings of products by users. Those problems has gathered some continuous interest from the recommendation field. In the case of new users, so similar users can't be classified because in the case of new users there is no rating created by new users. The problem of the limitation of the recommendation space is not easy to access because it is related to moneywise that the cost will be increasing rapidly when there is an addition to the dimension of recommendation. Therefore, I propose the solution of the recommendation problem of new user and the usage of item quality as weight to improve the accuracy of recommendation in this paper.
