국가산업단지 근로자 독서문화 실태 분석 연구 - 시흥스마트허브단지를 중심으로 - (Reading Culture of Industrial Workers in the National Industrial Complex - Case studies of Siheung Smart Hub Complex -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국가산업단지의 하나인 경기도 시흥시에 위치한 시흥스마트허브단지내 근로자의 삶의 질 향상과 기업경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 독서환경, 독서문화 실태 및 요구사항을 조사, 분석하여 독서문화 개선 및 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 삼고자 하였다. 산업체 근로자를 대상으로 설문을 하여 그 결과를 분석한 결과 산업단지 내 독서환경이 미비하였으며, 근로자의 독서문화 실태도 열악한 상황이었다. 이를 개선하기 위해 요구사항을 분석하여 산업체 근로자의 독서환경 개선과 독서문화 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

  • As the living standard of citizens are improving and the demand for the quality of life is increasing, the demand for the facilities of welfare and convenience for varied ages rises. Besides, our residential environment is faced with the need for changing into the environment of integrated function of living, which holds health, leisure, culture, education, welfare, etc. Considering the present reality requiring the augment of welfare facilities due to our aging society, community integrated facilities are needed, which can contain welfare service for home-living citizens within residential circle and can accept diverse needs of residents. Accordingly, the study began in order to suggest a better direction for community integrated facilities' plan that considers all age brackets for aging society. The study is to figure out way of thinking what community space of 3 age cluster middle-age in the 30s~40s, preparatory senior citizen in the 50s and old age brackets in the 60s~70s. As methods for attaining the aim of this study, surveys of documents and questionnaire survey were simultaneously used. The result of the study, investigating the importance of a community among the members in the residential complex, showed that all the age groups have highly perceived its importance. All the age groups responded that leisure are important to the elderly. It indicates that importance of their social relations are within the residential environment and it proves that there is lack of facilities for leisure activities of residents in apartment house.

  • This paper analyses characteristics of the numerical controller industry in market formation and the Flow of information between users and producers and the characteristic of knowledge base of the industry and discusses the difficulties derived, from the characteristics, in accumulation of technological capability In market formation betweenusers and producers, the multi-layered market is not favorable to domestic producers in that lower end market is not large enough to provide cardle market to them which produce inferior quality and lower price than importer products. The credibility of the permance of a product is difficult to prove until a critical mass of products are sold. Therefore gaining market share is deterred by unproven credibility of the performance of the product. The flow of information between users and producers is limited. The flow of information on users environment through mass market to producers is essential for improving credibility of a product. The nature of knowledge base is tacit and the means of knowledge transmission is limited. Technological licensing and reverse engineering, Which have been conventional industry. These characteristics provide conditions of vicious circle in accumulation of technological capability of the numerical controller industry. This paper argues that these characteristics of the industry challenges existing approach to R&D management and framework of science and technology policy.

A Roots Method in GI/PH/1 Queueing Model and Its Application

  • In this paper, we introduce a roots method that uses the roots inside the unit circle of the associated characteristics equation to evaluate the steady-state system-length distribution at three epochs (pre-arrival, arbitrary, and post-departure) and sojourn-time distribution in GI/PH/1 queueing model. It is very important for an air base to inspect airplane oil because low-quality oil leads to drop or breakdown of an airplane. Since airplane oil inspection is composed of several inspection steps, it sometimes causes train congestion and delay of inventory replenishments. We analyzed interarrival time and inspection (service) time of oil supply from the actual data which is given from one of the ROKAF's (Republic of Korea Air Force) bases. We found that interarrival time of oil follows a normal distribution with a small deviation, and the service time follows phase-type distribution, which was first introduced by Neuts to deal with the shortfalls of exponential distributions. Finally, we applied the GI/PH/1 queueing model to the oil train congestion problem and analyzed the distributions of the number of customers (oil trains) in the queue and their mean sojourn-time using the roots method suggested by Chaudhry for the model GI/C-MSP/1.

한국 장수식당의 정성적 모델 연구 (Study on Korean Long-lasting Restaurant Model: Use of Qualitative Observation and Research Interview)

  • To examine the key success factors for long-lasting restaurants, we visited 10 restaurants with 30 or more than 30 years of tradition, located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do districts, to research these restaurant menus and customer characteristics by observation and interview. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The outstanding feature noted was that each and every restaurant had its own simple and specialized menu. We found that this feature created a virtuous circle that reinforced itself through a positive feedback loop. The simple and specialized menu increased both the cooking efficiency and food quality while it reduced both food and labor costs, this enabled the customers to eat at an affordable price and have generous servings. This lead to customer satisfaction and revisits to the restaurant, which triggered word-of-mouth referral and expansion of their customer base. This in turn created higher operating profit margins that could be reinvested in the business. The secret recipes for cooking, invented by their founders, were passed on from generation to generation. Their customer base included customers of all ages from children to senior people. And their regular customers consisted of neighboring office workers and families traveling from a long distance. We hope that our findings on long-lasting restaurants, especially of the virtuous cycle created due to the simple and specialized menus with secret recipes, will contribute to the development of Korean style long-lasting restaurant model.

It is conjectured that these characteristics are derived from the fact that the numerical controller is the result of IT based technological convergence in controlling machining process. This paper argues that these characteristics of the industry challenges existing approach to R&D management and framework of science and technology Policy.

농촌빈곤가계의 경제문제 I -경제자원 문제를 중심으로- (Economic Problems of Rural Poor Households in Korea - Focused on the Economic Resources -)

  • The objective of this thesis is to analyse empirically the economic resource problems of the rural poor households. Data from 444 rural sample households in four provinces, divided into two subgroups, the poor and the non-poor households, were analysed and compared. The owned arable land size, level of agricultural and non-agricultural income, assets, debts and the sufficiency of living expenses of the poor households were measured and compared with those of non-poor households respectively. The significant findings and drawn conclusions are as follows : The rural poor households 1. tends to show smaller family size, older age and lower level of education of homemakers than the non-poor households, that might work as constraints to income sources and quality. 2. has not only small arable lands and agricultural income but also even smaller cash income, less than 50% of total income, with 27% of self-product consumption and depends more on non-agricultural income than the non-poor households. Such weakness of income structure might cause and increase the income instability of the rural poor households. 3. reveals significantly different level and components of assets from the non-poor households lower level of assets, less amounts of but more load of debt due to lower solvency that comes from low level of income and assets, higher debts for consumption and lower accessibility to credit. All these socio-demographic and economic characteristics of the rural poor households might have compound effects on the economic problems of the poor households and make vicious circle of poor.

캐릭터의 움직임을 통한 감성 커뮤니케이션 (Communications of Emotions with Character Movements)

  • 최근 고도로 발전하고 있는 기술의 발전으로 인하여 한층 더 수준 높은 디지털 영상의 표현이 가능하게 되었다. 가상현실에서 캐릭터는 사용자를 대신하거나 사용자와 직접적으로 상호작용하는 등 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 캐릭터의 움직임은 캐릭터에게 생명력을 불어 넣어주고, 이를 통해 캐릭터는 각종 의사와 감성을 드러낸다. 캐릭터의 감성적 움직임을 분석하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 laban이 제안한 움직임의 속성 요소인 시간, 공간, 흐름의 변화를 바탕으로 근원적인 움직임 재료를 만들고, 이를 Plutchik의 정서 동그라미 내에 배치함으로써 움직임 요소와 그에 따라 전달되는 감성의 상관관계를 측정하였다. 그 결과 움직임을 구성하는 9개의 동작요소들이 각각 특정한 정서를 일관되게 드러낸다는 것과 표현하는 정서의 강도에도 단계적으로 뚜렷한 영향력을 드러낸다는 것을 알 수 있었다

검출기 중심축을 자동 보정하는 초소형 CT 개발 및 성능평가 (Development and Performance Evaluation of an Ultra-Compact CT with Auto Calibration of Detector Center Axis)

  • 본 연구에서는 검출기의 중심축을 자동 보정하는 초소형 CT를 설계 및 제작하고 성능을 검증하였다. 3D CAD 데이터와 초소형 CT 검출기 중심축을 수동으로 보정하여 촬영한 X-ray 데이터를 사용하여 3차원 재구성 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 중심축이 0.25° 이상 기울면 원형 깨짐 현상이 발생하면서 3차원 재구성 영상의 품질이 급격히 저하된다는 사실을 발견하였다. 검출기 중심축 자동보정 장치를 적용하여 검출기 중심축이 시편 회전축과 일치하도록 보정하여 3차원 재구성 성능을 향상시켰다.

대형 금형의 품질관리를 위한 이동식 측정기 개발 (Development of a Portable Measurement Instrument for Quality Control of Large-sized Die)

  • 지금까지 금형의 표면관리를 위해 단순 현미경이나 표면 거칠기 측정기를 이용한 측정방법들은 구조적인 문제로 산업현장에서 적용하는 데 효율성이 떨어진다. 이에 따라 장소에 구별 없이 다양한 크기의 금형 측정과 품질관리 효율성을 높일 수 있는 측정시스템 및 분석시스템은 매우 필요하다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 필요성을 만족시키기 위한 현장맞춤형 이동식 표면측정 시스템 개발을 목표로 수행하였다. 측정시스템은 지지대(Base), 몸체(Body), 광학계(Opticalsystem)등 3부분으로 분리할 수 있도록 기구적으로 설계 및 제작하였다. 측정시스템의 실험결과 표면거칠기는 94.9~99.9%의 정확성을 나타냈으며, 원의 측정 값에 대한 편차는 $2{\mu}m$ 이내로 신뢰성을 확보하였다.
