Microbeam PIXE, often called micro-PIXE, is one of powerful tools for analyzing a wide range of elements for various samples. Moreover, it has important applications of interest to the atmospheric science. In the present study, a qualitative elemental imagination for various atmospheric environmental species was attempted using micro-PIXE. Especially, in combination with a novel individual droplet collection method and the micro-PIXE analytical technique, the chemical specification of various individual atmospheric samples could be carried out. Here, we briefly introduce the results of an application of micro-PIXE to the study of atmospheric environment. The detailed spatial resolution of multiple elements for various samples like individual ambient particles, individual raindrops, individual fog droplets, and individual snow crystals could be successfully achieved by scanning 2.6 MeV $H^+$ micro beam ($1{\sim}2{\mu}m$) accelerated by 3 MeV single-end accelerator.

A performance prediction method is presented in this paper for design of a rotating machinery having power split/circulated transmisson with slip elements and planetary gears. And internal power flow patterns of such systems are theoretically analyzed by using mathematical modeling. To estimate usefulness of the designed machinary, geometrical approach has been adopted through the performance locus diagram which represents overall characteristics of the system. This gives us complect prediction of the qualitative performane and effects of design factors such as system layout, types and gear ratios of planetary gears and disign parameters of slip elements. The results for one of them are compared with experimental ones using dynamometer for verification.

Greeting the era that the interest in qualitative aspects of life environment is getting important, commercial space, which is sensitive to the reflection of consumers' desire, is making efforts to secure the interior image identity of its own space. Especially, because the bar, which is the object of this study, is competing with undistinguished alcoholic beverages, the distinction of the interior image construction becomes more important. Here this study is purposed to understand the features of structural elements for the construction of the image identity of interior space. Especially, the purpose is to present the basic materials of the space design for individuality and distinction by considering relationship between the whole image and structural elements that form the image of space, and the preference, centering on the installation, which is being used very much for the image identity construction in eating and drinking space these days.

'Health' trend like the latest fashion that spread to present society that elevate a lot of interests in qualitative elevation of life by rapid economic growth did to derive vocabulary called 'well-being' over all field. More and more comprehensive new type word 'LOHAS' appear to this. I wish to present basic data that need in study of healthy eco dwelling through making comparative study of existing study, literature analysis, and application type and planning elements etc of healthy dwelling. This study is preceded in following steps and contents. First, make conceptional definition for similarity words regarding healthy eco dwelling through existing study and internet search data etc, and analysis comprehensive meaning of 'Health' and 'Healthy Dwelling'. Second, I have done arrangement examination synthetically about healthy eco dwelling, wellbeing house, and ubiquitous future dwelling by paradigm of spread healthy dwelling. Third, examine application type of healthy dwelling that appear present and arrange analyzing planning elements is applied in the types.

Smart tourism, a promising development trend for destinations, has drawn growing attention from practitioners and academics. Extant research has laid a solid theoretical foundation on the roles of technology and effects of smart tourism on tourists. However, little is known about structured and profound implications for a destination's smart tourism development. Thus, by selecting Hong Kong as a case city, this study proposes a framework of implications for smart tourism development. A qualitative approach was employed to gain insights from smart tourism stakeholders. Results shed light on nine elements that boost the smart tourism development of destinations. These nine elements serve as a significant reference for policy-making. Several theoretical and practical implications are provided for scholars, practitioners, and policy makers.

This research will attempt to reveal that private developers in the Malaysian construction industry have been practicing strategic partnering in their organizations. While the investigation was conducted using quantitative and qualitative approaches, this paper will only reveal results obtained from the questionnaire survey. Results from the questionnaire survey indicate that private developers in the Malaysian construction industry had implemented strategic partnering in their organizations. The elements of the partnering process, which are partnering formation, partnering application and partnering completion or reactivation were tested. The results show that all the elements of the partnering process have been exercised in their projects. Thus it can be surmised that strategic partnering has been practiced by private developers in the Malaysian construction industry.

With the globalization of the film industry, ethnic minority films have been developed and studied by many scholars for their special ethnic representation. The film "Tharlo" directed by Pema Tseden carefully explores the identity anxiety of a Tibetan shepherd. Through the connection and separation between the protagonist and traditional culture, it shows a complexity of modern ethnic identity for minority people. This study explores what kind of cinematic techniques and symbolic elements the director uses to shape ordinary characters, build a narrative space, and show ethnic representation. This paper puts forward a theoretical framework combining cinematic quantitative methods with qualitative narrative and semiotic analysis, aiming to deepen our understanding of cinematic techniques and ethnic representation, and provides a new perspective and profound insights for discussing the complexity faced by ethnic minorities in contemporary films. This study finds that Tseden's "Tharlo" successfully portrays the complex transformation of Tibetan cultural identity in the context of globalization and modernization through cinematic techniques such as fixed camera positions, long take and black-and-white cinematography, combined with the use of symbolic elements like mirrors, lambs and identity cards.

Continuity and discontinuity is a relative concept, and there are various categories of the continuity and discontinuity in our circumference. Generally, characteristics of postmodernism including between the difference and the variety have being regarded as a discontinuity. Concept of the continuity includes between the quantitative continuity and the qualitative continuity qualitative continuity has organic characteristic, which encourages creating something permanently through the flowing of the time. Therefore, this thesis has studied like this complex social condition and various relationships expressed in modern fashion focusing on permanently creative movements and behaviors equal to the 'continuance' theory of Herni Bergson and 'continuity' theory of Jill Deleuze. This thesis classifies characteristics of the qualitative continuity into spatiotemporal and spatial continuity, and subdivides into 3 sets: perceptual continuity, spatial continuity, transferring continuity of physical experience, immaterial informational continuity, and fluid continuity with environment. Continuous viewpoint, which accepts the existing elements and allows them to flow liberally, should be present more appropriative thinking direction in explaining the complex situation expressed in the modern fashion, rather than discontinuous viewpoints focused on the only changing moment.

정보 시각화 요소는 사용자에게 정보를 효율적으로 서비스하기 위한 기술로서, 웹의 진화 과정상에서 그 중요성을 높여가고 있다. 본 연구의 분석 대상인 InSciTe는 대용량의 논문과 특허 데이터를 시맨틱 웹 기술과 텍스트 마이닝 기술을 이용하여 R&D 전략 수립을 지원하는 테크놀로지 인텔리전스 서비스이다. 본 연구에서는 대용량의 논문과 특허 데이터를 대상으로 시맨틱 웹 기술과 텍스트 마이닝 기술을 이용하여 R&D 전략 수립을 지원하는 테크놀로지 인텔리전스 서비스인 InSciTe의 시각화 요소들에 대한 효용성 평가를 수행하고, 각각의 서비스 유형마다 정량적 및 정성적 분석을 통하여 사용자들이 선호하는 디자인과 적용 방법을 제안한다. 효용성 평가 결과, InSciTe 내의 시각화 요소들은 사용자의 인지력을 향상시키기 위하여 사용자 친화적으로 구현되었다는 결론을 얻었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influential factors of space marketing, and then to empirically analyze how they were reflected on the facade elements of sports stores. In order to achieve such a purpose, the research was firstly based on the perspective of space marketing to extract various features into 4 types of factors, namely sensuous factors, differentiated external appearance factors, image-associating factors and story-creating factors. Secondly, this study extracted the elements of facade design for sports stores including architectural elements, visual elements and display elements. Thirdly, it clarified the correlation of the influential factors of space marketing with the external space elements of sports stores. Fourthly, the qualitative analysis method was applied to analyze eight selected cases in Busan and eight selected cases in Fukuoka, Japan in order to explore the various different methods of expression of facade design. Lastly, the study found that the stores in Busan mostly take advantage of contrasting effects to deliver a strong visual impression to customers in the sensuous factors. Besides, the facade shapes in Busan were designed to be straight in order to enhance the main doors with its distinguished formative features to maximize the effective expression of the differentiated external factors, along with other expression methods of the image associating and story creating factors. This was done to associate with the brand identity in comparison with the stores in Fukuoka.
