Qualitative research methodology has been applied with increasing frequency in various fields, including in healthcare research, where quantitative research methodology has traditionally dominated, with an empirically driven approach involving statistical analysis. Drawing upon artifacts and verbal data collected from in-depth interviews or participatory observations, qualitative research examines the comprehensive experiences of research participants who have experienced salient yet unappreciated phenomena. In this study, we review 6 representative qualitative research methodologies in terms of their characteristics and analysis methods: consensual qualitative research, phenomenological research, qualitative case study, grounded theory, photovoice, and content analysis. We mainly focus on specific aspects of data analysis and the description of results, while also providing a brief overview of each methodology's philosophical background. Furthermore, since quantitative researchers have criticized qualitative research methodology for its perceived lack of validity, we examine various validation methods of qualitative research. This review article intends to assist researchers in employing an ideal qualitative research methodology and in reviewing and evaluating qualitative research with proper standards and criteria.

Purpose: This study was to examine the trend of qualitative study published by Korean Journal of Adult Nursing from 1989 to 2011, and to suggest future directions through identifying its strength and weakness. Methods: Ninety one published qualitative studies were analyzed focusing on research methodology and research themes using descriptive statistics. Results: During the last 22 years, the number of qualitative studies has rapidly increased and the methodology used to analyze qualitative data has been diversified. The most frequently used analytic method was a phenomenology (48.4%) and the frequency of conducting a content analysis has increased. The prevailing data collection settings were community (61.5%), followed by hospital (35.2%). Especially, many researches showed specific description on researcher's efforts to get validity and reliability of studies in individual studies presented within recent 10 years. However, it was noted that meta study using mixed methodology and secondary analysis of qualitative studies are rarely used and need to be facilitated. Conclusion: Nursing Researchers utilizing qualitative research should continuously make efforts to increase the validity and reliability of their studies and to find knowledges or strategies applicable to practice through using mixed methods or secondary analysis of individual studies.

Purpose - The corporate culture's energy is recognized to go through the company and facilitate a new balance to realize success, which means that the culture in an environment of various organizations affects the performance of its employees. The purpose of the current research is to investigate the impact of organizational culture on employee performance. Research design, data, and methodology - The current research conducted a qualitative content analysis. The primary research approach applied by qualitative content analysis is an inductive methodology, and this approach is a type of reasoning that seeks the application of logic, which later helps develop a theory that will guide the future research. Result - Research findings of the present study indicated that five solutions to the problems encountered through the execution of culture are attached to how effective the organizational culture are when workers execute. Thus, culture is realized to boost structure, because the structure of an organization elevates the behavior of the organization. Conclusion - Workers will be aware of both the negative and positive implications of executing culture in the organization. Therefore, organization managers must learn that various employees are vital people in their vicinity, and creating a culture that would make a good rapport with them is vital.

Purpose: Supply chain management is a significant component of marketing strategy to achieve the overall goal of maintaining a competitive edge in the industry. To better understand and compare marketing strategies between two major distribution channels (Wholesalers and Retailers), the present study examines the various critical aspects in developing marketing strategies based on numerous prior studies. Research design, data and methodology: Qualitative research involves collecting and analyzing various non-numeric data to establish different concepts or opinions in the data. In content analysis, determining the presence of different themes, concepts, or other valuable texts and their relationships is carried out. Usually, the researchers employ three distinct methods to carry out complete content analysis. Results: Developing the appropriate marketing strategy to manage the supply chain of a business is essential. Marketing strategies should be formulated in a manner that ensures the supply chain is well organized. Applying the marketing strategy in the supply chain management, the current author utilizes the four Ps to integrate strategies for two distribution channels which are essential in ensuring proper management. Conclusions: This study concluded that utilizing the existing marketing strategies and integrating them can help in better management of the supply chain, using communication, decision making, product differentiation, and pricing.

Recently, online job websites have been activated as unemployment problems have emerged as social problems and demand for job openings has increased. However, while the online job platform market is growing, users have difficulty choosing their jobs. When users apply for a job on online job websites, they check various information such as job contents and recruitment conditions to understand the details of the job. When users choose a job, they focus on various details related to the job rather than simply viewing and supporting the job title. However, existing online job websites usually recommend jobs using only quantitative preference information such as ratings. However, if recommendation services are provided using only quantitative information, the recommendation performance is constantly deteriorating. Therefore, job recommendation services should provide personalized services using various information about the job. This study proposes a recommended methodology that improves recommendation performance by elaborating on qualitative preference information, such as details about the job. To this end, this study performs a topic modeling analysis on the job content of the user profile. Also, we apply LDA techniques to explore topics from job content and extract qualitative preferences. Experiments show that the proposed recommendation methodology has better recommendation performance compared to the traditional recommendation methodology.

본 연구의 목적은 도서관 마케팅 모형의 제안에 있다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 활용된 방법론은 국내 문헌정보학자들의 도서관 마케팅관련 연구논문들에 대한 내용분석방법이다. 관련 연구논문들에 대하여 질적 내용분석방법을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 이의 결과를 일반 비영리조직의 마케팅모형과 비교 분석하여 최종 도서관 마케팅모형을 제시하였다. 최종 도서관 마케팅모형의 구성요소는 첫째, '고객(도서관 이용자)', 둘째, '내적 환경 변화', 셋째, '외적 환경 변화', 넷째, '도서관 마케팅 목표 설정', 다섯째, '다양한 도서관 마케팅 전략', 여섯째, '구체적 마케팅 실행계획의 수립', 일곱째, '실행계획의 집행', 여덟째, '평가', 아홉째, '긍정적 평가 결과', 열 번째, '부정적 평가 결과', 열한 번째, '고객만족', 열두번째, '도서관 이용률 제고', 열세 번째, '도서관의 긍정적 사회적 가치 확립'이다.

The Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) is one of the more important problems that have affected the economy of european cattles and the Public Safety. Their transmission is mainly through digestive system, and the compound feeds made with animal proteins are one source of infection for healthy cows. Nowadays the official method for meat and bone meal (MBM) detection in compound feeds is a microscopy technique. However, this methodology is subjective, and that alter the fact to make one exhaustive quantitative analysis and one differentiation between mammalian and poultry bones. In addition, the separation of the differents fractions in a sample by density before the analysis, requires the use of organochlorates products as $CCl_4$, which produce serious damages in the atmosphere ozone content. NIR methodology is another possible way to confirm and identifying animal ingredients in compound feeds, Its capabilities for quantitative and qualitative analysis of foods and feeds has been enought demonstrated. The objective of this work was to use NIR as a tool to make an qualitative and quantitative analysis and a prediction of the meat and bone meal presence in compound feeds from North Spain cattle farms. Using a global population of compound feeds, on make three different groups depending of MBM percentage presence (0, 0-100, 100), to build and validate one calibration equation to determine MBM content and make one discriminant analysis between these three groups. The preliminary dates obtained with another differents samples of known composition showed promising results.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore experiences of RN-BSNstudents through an RN-BSN education course. Method: Data was collected through in-depth interviews and recordings about RN-BSN students' experiences in the education system. The data was analyzed in terms of Downe-Wamboldt's(1992) content analysis methodology. Result: Ninety significant statements were found concerning their experiences and their experiences were divided into three dimensions (intra personal, inter personal, & outer personal). The analysis scheme consisted of 15 categories and 26 subcategories. Conclusion: We found participants not only advanced their careers and improved their knowledge but also grew and transformed internally. In addition, this study can suggest a framework for planning curriculum content and learning methods in an RN-BSN course. In addition, the qualitative findings of this study can help the professor to understand and guide RN-BSN students.

Purpose: The greatest asset to all organizations is the employees and they should be guarded against factors hindering their work ability. Nevertheless, most organizations are always more concerned about making profits to the extent of forgetting their employee's welfare. On this point, this study aims to examine employee's work-related stress and its relationship with work ability. Research design, data and methodology: This study focused on obtaining mostly peer-reviewed works to suggest research findings, assuming that qualitative literature approach allows researchers to explore in-depth information concerning complex issues in a standard life setting. Numerous prior researchers applied their research design in content analysis, especially where various concepts are present for analysis. Results: Based on numerous qualitative textual resources, this study found that human resource practitioners should plan stress management strategies for their employees to apply five kinds of solutions that the current study suggests because it is vital to ensure their wellbeing towards sustaining their performance. Conclusions: All in all, based on the findings, this study concludes that employee's work stress negatively impacts their work ability with affecting their mental health. As a result, there is little doubt that practitioners should regularly monitor the working environment for stress-related factors besides creating a healthy working environment for all employees.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends of elementary mathematics education with regard to the topics, methods, subjects, and mathematical contents of such research. For this purpose, the papers published in domestic journals during the recent 5 years (2004-2009) were analyzed. A total of 383 papers from 8 professional journals were analyzed with the 4 criteria. First, the frequent research topics included instructional design and methods, learners' perspectives and abilities, and analysis of curriculum and textbooks in order. Second, qualitative research methodology was used twice as many as quantitative one. Whereas a survey was the most frequent quantitative research method, content analysis and case study were for qualitative methods. Third, research subjects included mainly typical students, specifically fifth and sixth graders. Papers dealing with lower graders or low-achievers as well as pre-service teachers were rare. Lastly, whereas the research on geometry as well as number and operations was active, that of measurement as well as probability and statistics was not. On the basis of these results, this paper includes several implications for the future research direction in elementary mathematics education.
