  • 정보통신 기술의 발달은 학습 환경에도 많은 변화를 가져왔다. U-learning을 비롯해 많은 학습 방법들이 과거의 제한된 장소에서의 학습이 아닌 언제 어디서든 자유롭게 학습할 수 있는 환경을 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 QR-Code와 U-learning을 이용해 학습자들이 시공간의 제약 없이 학습 할 수 있는 환경을 학습의 장인 학교에 접목시켜 스마트 러닝이 가능하도록 하였다. 학습자들의 흥미를 이끌어내어 원하는 장소에서 원하는 시간에 언제든지 학습이 가능하도록 하여 학습 능력 향상을 기대하고 나아가 자기 주도적 학습에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Agri-Food Business Models Based on NFC

  • In recent times, NFC technology adaptations for smartphones have been increasing. This study proposes the adaptation of agri-food business models based on NFC technology and presents the basic technological characteristics of NFC. An NFC tag can store more information than prior tagging technology methods, such as QR codes, and provides a better user experience. Based on the unique features of NFC, this study suggests an NFC business model application for the agri-food business.

An Automatic Access Registration System using Beacon and Deep Learning Technology (비콘과 딥러닝 기술을 활용한 전자출입명부 자동등록시스템)

  • In order to prevent the national wide spread of the COVID-19 virus, the government enforces to use an electronic access registration system for public facilities to effectively track and manage the spread. Initially, there was a lot of hassle to write a directory, but recently a system for creating an electronic access list using QR codes, what is called KI-Pass, is mainly used. However, the procedure for generating a QR code is somewhat cumbersome. In this paper, we propose a new electronic access registration system that does not require QR code. This system effectively controls the suspicious visitor by using a mask wearing discriminator which has been implemented using deep learning technology, and a non-contact thermometer package. In addition, by linking the beacon, a short-range wireless communication technology, and the visitor's smartphone application, basic information of the facility visitor is automatically registered to KDCA through the server. On the other hand, the user access information registered in the server is encrypted and stored, and is automatically destroyed after up to 4 weeks. This system is expected to be very effective in preventing the spread of other new infectious diseases as well as responding to the coronavirus which is recording a high spread worldwide.

  • 최근 세계적으로 한국에 대한 인식이 좋아짐으로써 한국으로 유학이나 여행을 오는 외국인이 많아지고 있다. 외국은 다양한 문화와 언어를 가지고 있고 그 외국의 문화와 언어에 익숙하지 않은 많은 식당에서 그들은 식사함에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 우리 학교의 경우에서도 마찬가지로 유학 와 있는 한국어가 서툰 학생들이 한국에서 가장 불편한 일 중 하나가 식당에서 음식을 시키는 것이라고 할 정도로 식사가 제한되어 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 QR 코드를 메뉴판에 부착하여 그 QR 코드를 찍기만 하면 바로 원하는 언어를 선택할 수 있고, 그들의 언어로 음식에 대한 설명이 나타나는 시스템을 제안하고 개발하였다. 제안한 시스템은 종교에 따라 먹지 못하거나, 식습관에 따라 먹지 않는 음식이 있는 외국인들 역시 전자 메뉴판을 이용함으로 어려움을 해결 할 수 있다. 제안한 시스템은 그들 주변에 어떤 식당이 있고 어떤 음식이 있는지 쉽게 알 수 있고 그 어플을 사용하는 사람들과 소통할 수 있는 어플리케이션을 제작함으로써 유학생뿐만 아닌 일반 관광객들을 대상으로도 적극적으로 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 기대가 된다.

  • Because of rapid spread of the PC, many users have been enjoying a variety of content as PC. Especially in recent years, young people has increased dramatically PC usage. Young people get more easily information using a PC. Especially they relieve their stress through online games and feel another fun of virtual reality. It is obviously a good effect that they contact IT culture with rapidly developed. But young people's perspective with world is narrow because of doing more indoor activities than outdoor. Therefore we built Spot experience voucher system using smart phone application. We hope that many young people act outdoor activities. And Our product offer hybrid device by developing HTML5-based app. Thus this app will give interest of spot-experience to young-people. So If young people use this app, they can have many experience and see diverse aspects.

  • In this paper, we tried to broaden a width of practical use field for applications through combining to existing contents after constructing various contents for companion animals. For this, we designed and developed our new companion animal management system(PET-IN) by adding various contents such as information management, schedule management, health management, QR code, SNS, shopping, map service for companion animals to smartphone applications. By PET-IN accessibility and satisfactory level tests, we found out that new synergy effect have appeared through combining each contents, and connectivity is increased. So, practical use field is broaden. These tests show us that comprehensive content composition is necessary for companion animal applications, and this study can be used as important data when new companion animal application contents are constructed in the future.

  • This study seeks to establish a ubiquitous wardrobe with a clothing management function through detailed and subdivided integration research. To create a database, a survey was conducted, and the output data were analyzed and used as the basic data. In particular, this study researched clothing management programs and companies' standards of clothing product classification systems. First, through an in-depth analysis centering on specialists, we established the contents of a ubiquitous wardrobe and used the concept of cloud computing to support the wardrobe contents and smart phone applications. Second, this research found significant differences between individuals, schools, and enterprises in their applications of, and the importance they attach to, design images. A detailed database composed of various categories was established to present the ubiquitous wardrobe contents with efficient functions. Third, we facilitated the search process by designating clothes with QR codes, which is one of the functions of contents. Fourth, the code numbers generated in the process of entering clothes into the database were utilized as RFID information as a way to arrange the products in a simpler manner. The ubiquitous wardrobe was constructed as a web-style hybrid, and its contents areavailable through mobile applications and QR codes.

  • Individuals with visual impairments face difficulties in accessing accurate information about medical services and medications, making it challenging for them to ensure proper medication intake. While there are healthcare laws addressing this issue, there is a lack of standardized solutions, and not all over-the-counter medications are covered. Therefore, we have undertaken the design of a mobile application that utilizes image recognition technology, barcode scanning, and QR code recognition to provide guidance on how to take over-the-counter medications, filling the existing gaps in the knowledge of visually impaired individuals. Currently available applications for individuals with visual impairments allow them to access information about medications. However, they still require the user to remember which specific medication they are taking, posing a significant challenge. In this research, we are optimizing the camera capture environment, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) screens for image recognition, ensuring greater accessibility and convenience for visually impaired individuals. By implementing the findings from our research into the application, we aim to assist visually impaired individuals in acquiring the correct methods for taking over-the-counter medications.

Electronic Attendance System Using Smart Device and High Frequency Signal

  • Recently, many universities have used various electronic attendance systems such as NFC, QR code, Sound-QR, Bluetooth BLE authentication, and face recognition to process attendance. However, existing methods have various problems such as attendance errors due to deformation of authentication signals, mis-recognition attendance from outside the classroom, and difficulty to process seat absence during class. Therefore, this study proposes a high-frequency signal-based electronic attendance system to solve these problems and manage more accurate electronic attendance. As the high-frequency signal replaces the BLE signal, and the transmission range of the signal is limited to the classroom, and the signal value can be immediately changed if a change of the signal is needed. To verify the performance of the proposed system, we conducted a comparative experiment with the Bluetooth based electronic attendance system, and as a result, the proposed method showed high accuracy. Thus, the proposed method will be a useful service that can be immediately used in smart device-based electronic attendance system.

  • As construction works have become larger and more complex, improving productivity by introducing Information Technology (IT) is pursued and more effective construction management is needed in construction industry. In this circumstance, many different kinds of project management system is being introduced, and various IT technologies are applied such as Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), Bar Code, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Web Camera, and so on. However, these kinds of technologies might cause re-processing of information and ineffectiveness of project because of lack of real time information processing technology or separation between construction sites and management offices. Meanwhile, these technologies rather decrease the construction productivity except for the data saving and database function. Therefore, this research aims to develop Application that can be applied efficiently for construction material management, by understanding problems of former management system with questionnaires and extracting functions with analysis of requirements. In virtue of the construction material management Application which will be developed in this study, it will be possible to input information automatically, to process and check material information in real time, and to identify the location of necessary material. Then, the problem of separation between construction sites and management offices are solved, and as a result, more efficient management of materials in construction sites will become possible. At the same time, this study will investigate the possibility and applicability of new IT device, Smart Phone to construction sites.
