Development of an X3D Python Language Binding Viewer Providing a 3D Data Interface (3D 데이터 인터페이스를 제공하는 X3D Python 언어 바인딩 뷰어 개발)

  • With the increased development of 3D VR applications augmented by recent VR/AR/MR technologies and by the advance of 3D devices, interchangeability and portability of 3D data have become essential. 3D files should be processed in a standard data format for common usage between applications. Providing standardized libraries and data structures along with the standard file format means that a more efficient system organization is possible and unnecessary processing due to the usage of different file formats and data structures depending on the applications can be omitted. In order to provide the function of using a common data file and data structure, this research is intended to provide a programming binding tool for generating and storing standardized data so that various services can be developed by accessing the common 3D files. To achieve this, this paper defines a common data structure including classes and functions to access X3D files with a standardized scheme using the Python programming language. It describes the implementation of a Python language binding viewer, which is an X3D VR viewer for rendering standard X3D data files based on the language binding interface. The VR viewer includes Python based 3D scene libraries and a data structure for creation, modification, exchange, and transfer of X3D objects. In addition, the viewer displays X3D objects and processes events using the libraries and data structure.

  • This paper describes the implementation of Direct3D interface library for Python language. DirectX is the most popular library used for 3D games and 3D modelings. However, softwares which use the library can only be developed in the environments provided by Microsoft like Visual Studios and .NET framework. The interface module for Python, this paper presents, will extend the coverage of the useful library DirectX to a language which is not fully supported by Microsoft. The interface techniques described here can be a guide to develop interface modules for other languages too, which make their language more powerful and extensible. This paper describes the implementation techniques to develop the interface module for Python, advantages and disadvantages.

Comparative analysis of deep learning performance for Python and C# using Keras (Keras를 이용한 Python과 C#의 딥러닝 성능 비교 분석)

  • According to the 2018 Kaggle ML & DS Survey, among the proportions of frameworks for machine learning and data science, TensorFlow and Keras each account for 41.82%. It was found to be 34.09%, and in the case of development programming, it is confirmed that about 82% use Python. A significant number of machine learning and deep learning structures utilize the Keras framework and Python, but in the case of Python, distribution and execution are limited to the Python script environment due to the script language, so it is judged that it is difficult to operate in various environments. This paper implemented a machine learning and deep learning system using C# and Keras running in Visual Studio 2019. Using the Mnist dataset, 100 tests were performed in Python 3.8,2 and C# .NET 5.0 environments, and the minimum time for Python was 1.86 seconds, the maximum time was 2.38 seconds, and the average time was 1.98 seconds. Time 1.78 seconds, maximum time 2.11 seconds, average time 1.85 seconds, total time 37.02 seconds. As a result of the experiment, the performance of C# improved by about 6% compared to Python, and it is expected that the utilization will be high because executable files can be extracted.

  • Minecraft Pi edition is a distinct version of Minecraft developed for Raspberry Pi and was mostly used as an educational instrument for upcoming programmers. In this paper, the basic method to control GPIO pin of Raspberry Pi 4 board using python 3 and Minecraft Pi software was implemented. The implemented scheme can be easily applicable to the area of educational platform and metaverse application if a plenty of python libraries embedded in raspberry pi and excellent gaming capability of Minecraft Pi software are efficiently merged to meet application-specific hardware and software requirements.

  • In this study we have developed a Python education program that can be applied to students who have studied block-based coding. We have developed a Python education program based on the extracted the learners' level of block-based coding by analyzing the programs and the textbooks. We extracted the grammar of the block-based coding and constructed the curriculum. Then, the Python education program was composed by 16 hours. After reviewing the appropriateness of the education program through expert validation, it was concluded that the developed Python education program is suitable for applying to learners of block-based coding. We expect that proposed program will be effectively applied as basic resources to learn script coding in class.

  • Python language is widely used because of its ease of learning and its wide application range. Arduino, on the other hand, is also widely utilized hardware for physical computing and internet of things(IoT). However, Arduino is controlled by $C{^+^+}$ language, which makes it difficult for non-experts to enter swiftly. This paper proposes an errorless protocol that can simultaneously control multiple Arduino devices in a master device using python language with I2C communication. Using the protocol proposed in this paper, we can take advantage of the python language to control multiple Arduinos.

  • 평생직장이 사라지면서 중년층은 재취업을 희망하고, 매년 실업률이 높아지면서 취업 포털 사이트를 이용하는 이용자들이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 이용자들에게 채용공고 정보를 제공해 주기위해서 보편적으로 Python 언어를 이용하여 데이터를 처리하고 수집한다. 하지만, Python은 다중 프로세스 기반을 갖춘 PC가 보급됨에도 불구하고 단일 프로세스로 처리하는 한계를 보이며, 나머지 프로세스에서는 데이터 처리를 하지 못하는 한계가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 개선된 Python에서는 다중 프로세스로 처리 가능함에 따라 이를 이용한 채용 공고 수집기를 개발을 제안한다. 제안한 다중 프로세스를 사용한 수집기는 단일 프로세스보다 처리성능이 최대 3.42배 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 따라서, 다중 프로세스를 이용하여 채용 공고를 수집한다면 기존보다 더 빠른 데이터 처리와 데이터 수집 능력을 갖췄음을 확인하였다.

Development of Python Instructional Model Using Robot for Elementary Students (초등학생을 위한 로봇 활용 파이썬 학습 모형 개발)

  • The Code Block Based Educational Programming Language(EPL) is the mainstream tool for software education for elementary students. However, Code Block Based EPL has limitations in scalability, even though there are many advantages as an introductory tool for software education. In this study, we searched the approach of SW education using Python, which is a text-based programming language actively used in real industrial field. We developed a learning program and model using Python and applied it to the sixth grade elementary school students for 10 hours. As a result, we found that the robot-based Python learning model had a significant effect on improving students' thinking skills and confirmed the applicability of text-based programming language to elementary school students.

A Study on Comparison of Response Time using Open API of Daishin Securities Co. and eBestInvestment and Securities Co.

  • Securities and investment services have and use large data. Investors started to invest through their own analysis methods. There are 22 major securities and investment companies in Korea and only 6 companies support open API. Python is effective for requesting and receiving, analyzing text data from open API. Daishin Securities Co. is the only open API that officially supports Python, and eBest Investment & Securities Co. unofficially supports Python. There are two important differences between CYBOS plus of Daishin Securities Co. and xingAPI of eBest Investment & Securities Co. First, we must log in to CYBOS plus to access the server of Daishin Securities Co. And the python program does not require a logon. However, to receive data using xingAPI, users log on in an individual Python program. Second, CYBOS plus receives data in a Request/Reply method, and zingAPI receives data through events. It can be thought that these points will show a difference in response time. Response time is important to users who use open APIs. Data were measured from August 5, 2021, to February 3, 2022. For each measurement, 15 repeated measurements were taken to obtain 420 measurements. To increase the accuracy of the study, both APIs were measured alternately under same conditions. A paired t-test was performed to test the hypothesis that the null hypothesis is there was no difference in means. The p-value is 0.2961, we do not reject null hypothesis. Therefore, we can see that there is no significant difference between means. From the boxplot, we can see that the distribution of the response time of eBest is more spread out than that of Cybos, and the position of the center is slightly lower. CYBOS plus has no restrictions on Python programming, but xingAPI has some limits because it indirectly supports Python programming. For example, there is a limit to receiving more than one current price.

Cryptft+ : Python/Pyqt based File Encryption & Decryption System Using AES and HASH Algorithm (Crypft+ : Python/PyQt 기반 AES와 HASH 알고리즘을 이용한 파일 암복호화 시스템)

  • In this paper, we have developed Crypft+ as an enhanced file encryption/decryption system to improve the security of IoT system or individual document file management process. The Crypft+ system was developed as a core security module using Python, and designed and implemented a user interface using PyQt. We also implemented encryption and decryption function of important files stored in the computer system using AES based symmetric key encryption algorithm and SHA-512 based hash algorithm. In addition, Cx-Freezes module is used to convert the program as an exe-based executable code. Additionally, the manual for understanding the Cryptft+ SW is included in the internal program so that it can be downloaded directly.
