SFRC의 인장 파괴거동에 대한 해석 (Analysis on the Tensile Fracture Behavior of SFRC)

  • Steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC) which is made by short, randomly distributed steel fibers in concrete is superior in its tensile mechanical properties to plain concrete in enhancement of tensile strength and tensile ductility. These improvements are attributed to crack arresting mechanism and formation of longer crack paths due to fibers , which as a consequence lead to increase in energy absorption capacity of SFRC. In the post-peak region under tensile stresses, major macrocrack forms at critical section. The opening of this macrocrack is mainly resisted by both of the fiber pull-out bridging the cracked surfaces and the resistance by matrix softening. In this study, micromechaincal approach has been made in order to simulate tensile behavior of SFRC and based on which the theoretical model is presented. This model reflects the features of both the composite material concept and the spacing concept in predicting tensile strength of SFRC. The model also takes into account for the effects of matrix tensile softening and fiber bridging by pull-out on the resistance for the post-peak behavior of SFRC. It has been shown that the developed model satisfactory predicts the experimental results.

Tractive performance evaluation of seafloor tracked trencher based on laboratory mechanical measurements

  • To evaluate the tractive performance of tracked trencher on seafloor surface, a new shear stress-displacement empirical model was proposed for saturated soft-plastic soil (SSP model). To validate the SSP model, a test platform, where track segment shear test can be performed in seafloor soil simulacrum (bentonite water mixture), was built. Series shear tests were carried out. Test results indicate that the SSP model can describe the mechanical behavior of track segment with good approximation in seafloor soil simulacrum. Through analyzing the main external forces applied to seafloor tracked trencher during the uniform linear trenching process, a drawbar pull prediction model was deduced with the SSP model. A tracked walking mechanism of the seafloor tracked trencher prototype was built, and verification tests were carried out. Test results indicate that this prediction model was feasible and effective; moreover, from another side, this conclusion also proved that the SSP model was effective.

온라인 여행 커뮤니티에서 커뮤니케이션 유형에 따른 관광객의 행동 변화 (Tourists' Behavioral Changes According to the Type of Communication in Online Travel Communities)

  • Due to advance in Internet technology, most tourists tend to search travel information in the Online Travel Communities(OTC). Given this new paradigm in terms of finding travel information, most of relevant studies in this area are still dealt with explaining tourists' behaviors regardless of the types of communications. Therefore, to overcome some limitations in previous studies, we attempt to examine the relationships between both formal and informal communications and tourists' behavioral changes in the OTC context. Specifically, we developed a research model by employing the PPM(push-pull-mooring) framework and tested it to understand why and how tourists' behaviors might be changed. Survey data collected from 323 online tourists were used to test the model the model using SEM(structural equation modeling). The implications of our empirical findings for both research and practice are discussed.

2차원 모형실험 및 수치해석을 통한 현수교 터널식 앵커리지의 인발거동 특성 분석 (Analysis of Pull-out Behavior of Tunnel-type Anchorage for Suspended Bridge Using 2-D Model Tests and Numerical Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 케이블 인발하중이 작용하는 현수교의 앵커리지 종류 중 터널식 앵커리지의 인발거동 특성을 축소모형실험과 수치해석을 통하여 분석하였다. 터널식 앵커리지는 국내외 적용사례가 적고 파괴형태 및 안전율 등 설계기법이 명확히 정립되어 있지 않아 설계기법 개선과 관련한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 이에 국내 최초로 터널식 앵커리지가 적용된 울산대교를 대상으로 형상 및 구조를 단순화하여 축소모형실험을 수행하였다. 모형실험에서 앵커리지 구체와 주변 암반을 석고혼합물로 구현하였고, 평면 변형률 조건에서 인발 거동 특성을 조사하였다. 모형실험결과 터널식 앵커리지의 최종 인발 파괴모드는 울산대교의 설계시 가정한 바와 달리 쐐기(wedge)형태로 나타났다. 이를 검증하기 위해 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 사용하여 수치해석을 시행하였고, 모형실험결과와 동일한 인발 파괴 거동을 확인할 수 있었다. 수치해석에서는 추가적으로 모형재료의 포아송비 및 주변암반의 강도 변화에 따른 영향을 조사하였다. 그 결과 극한 인발상태까지는 포아송비에 따른 영향이 적은 것으로 나타났고, 주변암반의 강도가 앵커리지 구체의 강도보다 10배 이상 큰 특수한 경우에 한하여 앵커리지가 주변 암반의 경계면을 따라 빠져나오는 소위 플러그(plug)형태의 파괴모드가 발생할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

공공연구기관의 기술이전 유형별 성공요인 사례연구 (A Qualitative Analysis on the Success Factors in Technology Transfer of Korean Government Sponsored Research Institutes)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 공공연구기관의 기술이전 성공요인들을 분석한다. 기술이전과정의 특성을 반영하여 기술이전 유형을 공급주도형, 수요주도형, 상호작용형 등 3가지로 구분하여 분석한다. 기술이전 성공요인들을 분석하기 위해 기술이전 이해당사자(Subject), 기술(Object), 기술이전 과정(Process)을 중심으로 분석모형을 제시한다. 본 연구는 다중사례연구방법론을 사용하여 대표적인 정부출연 연구기관 3곳의 기술이전 유형별 성공사례를 각각 2건 선정하고, 심층인터뷰를 통하여 세 가지 기술이전 유형의 공통점과 차이점을 중심으로 기술이전 성공요인들을 분석하였다. 사례연구 결과 연구자의 역량과 경험, 기업의 의지와 역량, 기술의 특성, 기술이전과정상 주체 간 의사소통 등이 기술이전의 중요한 성공요인인 것으로 분석되었다. 특히 수요주도형에서는 기술이전이 TLO 주도로 진행된다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 공급주도형에 비해 수요주도형과 상호작용형이 기업이 직접 기술개발 및 이전과정에 참여함에 따라 기업 수요 반영에 용이한 구조로 조사되었다. 즉, 기술 중심의 R&D가 아니라 시장 중심의 R&D의 필요성을 확인한 것이다. 아울러, 성공적 기술이전의 주요 요건중 하나는 TLO의 역량강화 및 역할, 인식에 있어서 개선임을 지적하였다.

Push-Pull-Mooring 모델을 이용한 전기자동차로의 사용자 전환의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on User Conversion Intention to Electric Vehicle Using Push-Pull-Mooring Model)

  • This research will study the conversion intention of the users in China from fuel vehicle to new energy vehicles through the empirical methods. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted with car users as the object, combined with the theory of user migration and the PPM model to analyze the impact of fuel vehicle users' conversion intention to new-energy vehicles factor. The results showed that purchase experience contains the moderating effect, in which perceived risk and switching costs had a greater impact on the groups without purchase experience, whereas social identity, perceived value, personal attitude, and willingness to switch had a greater impact on groups with the purchase experience. Among all five factors, perceived risk had no discernible impact on the switching intention, but social identity, perceived value, attitude toward switching, and switching costs all had discernible impact on the switching intention. This study expects to come out with sustainable advises for the future growth of new energy vehicles from the study of car users' switching intention and the collective difference test of purchasing experience.

  • Recently, according to the industrial development relative to multimedia, demand of display system is radically increase, thus development for power supply of back-lighting is advanced lively. Fluorescent lamp operated at high frequency by the electronic ballast provide benefits like unnoticeable flicker effect and higher luminous efficiency. This paper presents analysis of Push-Pull type resonant inverter for CCFL drive for stable characteristic and life improvement of fluorescent lamp operated at high frequency. Also it has proposed design procedure of Current-Fed type resonant inverter. On the basis of equivalent circuit, component characteristic and suitable region of operation frequency from simulation using Matlab and Pspice is predicted. Suitability of applied equivalent model and validity of design process from the experimental results with CCFL inverter.

  • In this study a cantilevered carbon nanotube(CNT) switch was investigated with the linear and the nonlinear structural models incorporating the electrostatic force and van der Waals interactions between the CNT and ground surface. Due to the applied voltage and van der Waals interactions the CNT deforms statically and dynamically and finally pull into the surface. When the nonlinear model is considered in case of the relatively large gap between the CNT and the surface, the static pull-in voltage was increased due to the nonlinear hardening effect. Also the dynamic response was investigated with the different external dc and ac voltages. The CNT shows various dynamic behaviors and instabilities including dynamic pull-in. Based on this study, further research on the dynamic and nonlinear stability of CNT nanodevices should be requested to develop the new type of nano switches or nano-memory.

Design of Reflector Type Frequency Doubler for Undesired Harmonic Suppression Using Harmonic Load Pull Simulation Technique

  • In this paper, a study on the reflector type frequency doubler, to suppress the undesired harmonics, is presented. A 12 to 24 GHz reflective frequency doubler is simulated and experimented. Design procedure of the frequency doubler with reflector is provided and the frequency doubler with good spectral purity is fabricated successfully. It has harmonic suppression of the $40{\sim}50\;dBc$ in the $1^{st}$ harmonic and the $50{\sim}60\;dB$ in the $3^{rd}$ harmonic with no additional filter. And, it has conversion gain with the input power of 0 dBm over bandwidth of 500 MHz. A NEC's ne71300(N) GaAs FET is used and the nonlinear model(EEFET3) using IC-CAP program is extracted for harmonic load pull simulation. Good agreement between simulated and measured results has been achieved.

  • Screw piles(Helical piles and anchors) are increasingly used to support and rehabilitate reinforced structures subjected to both tensile and compressive axial loads. This study presents a variety of detailed investigation on especially pull-out characteristics of screw piles performed to both reduced scale and numerical analysis to identify fundamental failure mechanisms and empirical optimized geometry of screw piles. It was found that the pull-out characteristics of screw piles are influenced with mainly different frequencies of compaction around soil and screw pile's pitch and followings are practical data based on empirical analysis.
