This article examines the features of improving the public management of the market of medical and social services using information technology to improve the efficiency of public activity in modern conditions. The interpretation of the essence of the categories "information technologies" and "information support" is analyzed. The importance of the organization of information support of public authorities in the insurance of the state apparatus of information management for the adoption and solution of state issues of the market of medical and social services has been studied. Issues and system of information support of public management of the market of medical and social services are considered. The stages of the ICT implementation process in the market of medical and social services are described. The tools of state regulation in the market of medical and social services and the introduction of targeted programs for the development of the social sphere and health care are highlighted. Recommendations for improvement are formulated public management of the market of medical services and social way introduction of ICT tools, which provide for the implementation of a set of measures aimed at intellectualizing the entire system public data management spheres. The necessity of development of innovative tools of public management of the market of medical and social services of Ukraine for the purpose of working out of strategies of increase of quality of medical and social services in the XXI century is substantiated. A number of benefits from the implementation of an effective process of application of information support of public management of the market of medical and social services to ensure the efficiency of public authorities of Ukraine. It is proposed to create a "Department of information support of self-government" and electronic health care system (e-Health) to improve the management decision-making process, which will provide an opportunity to accumulate, process, analyze, and as a result, get the expected effect in the form of balanced management decisions by public authorities of Ukraine.

본 연구에서는 미국의 P 공공도서관과 그 이웃한 몇몇 도서관들의 서비스 사례를 개관하고 이를 참고로 우리나라 공공도서관에 도입할 필요가 있다고 판단되는 서비스들을 제안하였다. 우리나라 공공도서관이 본질적 역할을 감당하고 지역 주민의 지원을 확보할 수 있기 위해 1) 정보사회의 환경에 상응하는 정보제공 서비스. 2) 학교 교육과 평생교육을 지원할 수 있는 서비스. 3) 주민들의 문화와 예술적 욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 서비스의 개발을 제시하였다.

Web services (WS) present a new promising software technology, which provides application-to-application interaction. They are built on the top of existing web protocol and based on open XML standards. Web services are described using WSDL, and the UDDI is a integration directory provide registry of Web Services descriptions. WSDL provides information of Web Services but it is getting more and more important to know more than those provided by WSDL. From WSDL we can not get the information like usage of WS, performance of WS, complexity of WS, usability of WS with other web service. In this paper, we proposed a new method for Web Services so called Public Web Services Analyzer (PWSA). This technique is based on analyzing various public UDDI registries in order to get various kinds of statistics of web services. Those statistics will be used by both web services developers and consumers for finding them suitable services for their needs. PWSA guarantees that it can provide enough information to find right web services for both Web Services Consumers and Web Service Developers.

이 연구는 지역정보서비스의 용어에 대한 근본적인 접근을 통해 서비스에 대한 이해를 돕고, 지역정보서비스의 현 실상을 조사한 결과를 토대로 서비스의 의미에 부합되게 제공되는지를 충분히 검토한 뒤, 의미에 적합한 지역정보서비스 제공 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 삼았다. 이러한 목적을 위해 이 연구에서는 (1) 지역정보서비스 관련 용어의 추이를 살펴보면서 지역정보서비스가 도서관서비스에서 가지는 의미를 분명하게 제시하고, (2) 국내 공공도서관의 지역정보서비스의 제공 실태를 조사한 뒤, (3) 지역정보서비스가 서비스 의미에 부합하게 제공되기 위해 우리 학계와 도서관계가 고민해야 할 과제와 전략에 대해서 논의하였다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 문헌연구와 사례조사를 실시하였고, 사례조사는 국내 12개 지역대표도서관의 홈페이지를 대상으로 분석하였다.

도서관 정보화와 인터넷 지역정보원의 확대는 제한된 자원을 갖고 있는 우리나라 공공도서관에 지역정보봉사의 개선을 위한 좋은 기회를 제공한다. 본 연구는 지역정보의 개념과 유통 및 공공도서관 지역정보봉사에 관한 문헌 연구와 사례 연구를 바탕으로 공공도서관이 인터넷 지역정보원에 접근하는 통로를 제공할 것을 제안하였다 이를 위하여 공공도서관의 지역정보센터에의 참여, 도서관 홈페이지를 통한 지역정보제공, 봉사인력의 양성, 그리고 적합한 봉사 모델 개발이 필요함을 설명하였다.

고령화 사회가 진행됨에 따라 공공도서관의 고령 이용자도 증가하고 있어 이들을 위한 서비스의 개발이 요구된다. 고령자에게 필요한 정보는 건강, 의료, 복지 등 지역과 밀접한 일상생활 관련한 정보가 많으며, 이는 공공도서관에서 제공하는 지역정보서비스의 주요 영역이기도 하다. 본 연구에서는 고령자에게 필요한 지역정보의 유형 및 내용, 제공 방법 등을 문헌연구, 해외사례조사 및 국내 현황조사를 통하여 정리하고 공공도서관의 지역정보서비스를 통한 고령자 서비스 강화 방안을 제안하였다.

영상기록물은 최근 많은 이용자들이 선호하는 매체이며, 방송영상이 중요해짐에 따라 이용 요구도 많아지고 있다. 그러나 현재 국내 대다수의 방송사 아카이브 기관들은 내부 직원을 위한 아카이브 서비스를 제공하고 있을 뿐, 일반 대중들을 위한 적극적인 기록정보 서비스를 제공하고 있지 않다. 이 연구에서는 특히 해외 공영방송사 아카이브 사이트에서 일반 대중을 대상으로 제공하는 온라인 기록정보서비스를 살펴보고 국내 방송사 서비스의 개선방안을 제시해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 온라인 접근성, 검색 및 온라인 열람 그리고 아웃리치(확장) 서비스라는 3가지 서비스영역의 기준을 설정하고, 이에 의거하여, 각 영역별로 해외 공영 방송사의 서비스를 살펴보고 분석하였으며, 국내 공영 방송사 현황을 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 국내 공영방송사에 대한 일반 대중들을 대상으로 한 온라인 검색 및 자료의 제공, 다양한 아웃리치 서비스의 개발, 이용층의 확장 등, 기록정보서비스 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 한국과 일본의 공공도서관의 사례 분석을 통해 지역 지식정보서비스의 발전 방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 지역 지식서비스와 관련된 문헌분석, 사례조사를 진행하고 지역 공공도서관 홈페이지를 중심으로 조사 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 지역 지식정보서비스를 위한 발전 방안으로 이용자 지향적 서비스, 내부 협력, 외부 네트워크 협력, 홍보, 인식의 개선 등을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 앞으로 한국 공공도서관의 지역 지식정보서비스 운영의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

이 연구에서는 북미지역을 중심으로 공공도서관의 정신건강 관련 지원서비스의 경향과 특성을 살펴보았다. 이와 관련한 데이터는 문헌연구와 밴쿠버 공공도서관을 사례로 하는 관찰과 면담을 통해 수집되었다. 그 결과, 지역주민의 정신건강문제에 대한 도움요청과 이에 대한 공공도서관의 지원은 다양하게 나타나고 있었다. 공공도서관은 국가적 비극이나 자연 재난이 발생하였을 때 겪게 되는 주민들의 충격과 불안, 스트레스를 극복할 수 있도록 지원하는 한시적 서비스를 비롯하여 독자상담과 정보서비스의 일환으로 지역주민의 정신건강문제를 일상적으로 지원하고 있었다. 특히 어린이청소년의 성장과정에서 나타나는 다양한 문제(입양, 이혼, 재혼, 별거가족, 친구, 장애, 죽음, 자아존중, 정서, 왕따, 폭력, 학대, 자살, 질병, 중독, 성문제, 청소년임신 등)와 관련한 지원이 활발하였다. 또한 이러한 서비스에서 사서들의 핵심적 역할은 특정 문제를 해결하는 데 도움이 되는 적합한 책을 선정하여 추천하며, 관련 전문기관을 안내하고 연결해주는 데 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

Currently, it is not easy for most domestic public libraries to collect and provide reliable health information services on their own. Health information is distributed or professional, making it inconvenient for users to use. Based on the implications derived from the case study, the Library Health Information Integration Service Model was proposed as a specialized information service. The model consists of a composition shared by librarians, health and medical experts, and users, focusing on library websites that provide integrated health information integration services, and has the following features. First, it provides health and medical information on a specialized subject. Second, it provides integrated health and medical information services provided in various ways. Third, librarians and health and medical experts work together to provide information services. Fourth, users can freely use health information integration services online and offline. The model presented in this study means that libraries can play a leading role in health information integration services to increase the utilization rate of public libraries and further contribute to librarians serving as experts in health information services.
