국내.외 전문전시 동향에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Current Trend of Special Exhibition Home and Abroad)

  • The exhibition activity that a company is rendering to their consumers for the purpose of advertisement, sales promotion and enhancement of company inage get more and more internationalized and specialized. A company is changing from mass production system to small quantity production of various kinds to meet consumer's individualization and differentiation. Also, a company is experiencing a major change in their marketing strategy. As the society is entering on Information Age, the contents that a company intends to give consumer may be different individually. If a consumer is informed wrong information of the goods, a company needs a place to meet consumer face to face where the consumer feels and understands the substance of the goods. This is the current characteristics of Exhibition Media. Based on the result of the current Special Exhibition home and abroad along with background and characteristics of special Exhibition, this study sets a following task reflecting the general trend of social, cultural and economic atmosphere. First, Current Exhibition Industry will be diversified into more Specialized Exhibition, while our Exhibition Industry is very shaky under severe international competition. Also, Exhibition Plan that involves with architecture, interior, graphic, industrial design and advertisement, etc., needs international competitiveness while enhancing identity of Exhibition Plan along with comprehensive marketing strategy in the future. Second, Among most of the local special Exhibitions which invite the general public are normally invited for company public relation contrary to those of U.S.A. and Europe. This signifies of our industrial and social structure's by-product. As the future exhibition become Information Com$$\mu$ication Exhibition which requires specialized technical explanation, the correct description of the goods should be set as a Judgement basis of Exhibition Plan. Third, In parallel with increase of the Exhibition, the equipment expenses of a company goes up continuously. In view of this, a study $$\mu$t be oriented for re-use and curtailment of expenditure of those equipment. Also, as the use of Assembly System B on the rise as a result of diversification of special Exhibition, a study on the development of new material & design for Exhibition Equipment only B required.

  • The problems with the small exhibition buildings such a small gallery and art center recently constructed did not make the characteristics of the place specifying and did not form a big flow in the line of urban connection. Also it was deficient in the image like a cultural space because of the commercial aspects of the individual buildings. According to this view, this study is to evaluate the exteriors of the small exhibition buildings that the public prefers on the psychological side as a design theory and then, it is to present the direction of desirable form constitution hereafter. In the design of the small exhibition buildings exterior that the public must prefers, the principles and techniques of constitution that operate are the most initiative as follows. As for the principles of unity in the constitution of the small exhibition buildings exterior that the public prefers, Eigen Value is 7.573 and the explanatory force takes 21.637% at the top and it plays a leading role. In the comparison of the appearance, it shows that it is a factor with the largest specific gravity. The next factors were grouped in good order: the balance, ornamental technique, change, shipping technique, rhythm, harmony, symbolic technique, area technique and adding technique. As a result, in the design of the small exhibition buildings exterior, the architects have to constitute the principles of balance, change, rhythm and harmony by most of the unity and the symbolic technique and form technique by most of the ornamental techniques harmoniously and have to give Identity like exhibition buildings.

  • Influencer(사회적 영향력을 가진 사람)의 경제활동이 지속적으로 발전하면서 'influencer'는 다양한 삶의 영역으로 영향력을 미치기 시작했으며, 많은 경제적 수입을 창출하고 있다. 동시에 각 업종도 자신의 'influencer'를 만들고 있다. 예술 전시 업계, 'influencer'로 불리는 예술 전시는 전통 예술 전시의 방식을 바꾸고 있다. 본 논문은 'influencer'로 불리는 예술 전시를 연구 대상으로 한다. 기존의 예술 전시회와는 다른 'influencer' 예술 전시회는 관객에게 전시를 통한 경험을 얻도록 더 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 그것은 비록 예술 전시회의 전문성을 감소시키지만, 더 많은 비전문분야의 방문객들이 예술 전시회를 보고 경험하게 한다. 'Influencer' 예술 전시는 상업적인 마케팅이지만 대중이 예술문화에 대한 소비를 늘리면서 관람객들에게 생생한 문화체험을 줄 수 있는 '영향자' 전시가 바로 대중의 문화소비 욕구를 충족시키고 있다. 몰입형 'influencer' 예술 전시회는 예술 전시회의 주요한 전시형태로 자리 잡을 것이며 혁신, 창의성, 예술 전문성 및 상업 마케팅을 통해 'influencer' 예술 전시회는 지속적으로 발전하리라 생각한다.

  • 기록을 관리하는 궁극의 목적은 이용 제공에 있다. 기록물전시회는 기록관 및 기록관리에 대한 대중적 인지도를 높이고, 이에 대한 관심을 제고시킬 수 있는 기회가 된다. 또한, 미지의 이용자에게 적극적으로 접근하여 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 아울러, 아키비스트에게는 소장하고 있는 기록물에 대한 개괄적인 분류 및 평가를 할 수 있는 기회를 제공하기도 한다. 이러한 기록전시의 기능과 중요성에도 불구하고 기록물전시회를 개최한 기관 및 단체는 아직 많지 않은 형편이다. 본고에서는 대한불교조계종 중앙기록관의 역사기록전시 사례를 바탕으로 전시기획, 기록물 선별 및 전시 실제에 대하여 소개함으로써 기록전시의 참고 유형을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The core of character and concept in an exhibition space of contemporary museum is that the place for relics and materials changes into the place for spectators, the static exhibition place changes into the dynamic exhibition place, and the place for learning naturally during amusement. In other words, it could convey the conceptual exhibition object which is not the material object called a relic, it could be a place where is to investigate, participate, experience and enjoy with easily method to general public, and ordinary people are supposed to experience with integrative the world of intellectual, cultural and artistic which is inconcionsly rising a dimensiov. In order to response positively the change of these exhibition concept itself, exhibition system will be established through the analysis of realistic exhibition objects with the visulatization of theme or thought of an exhibitiov. In process of conveying image, the effective and concrete exhibition method and technique should be measured in order to realize the communication between spectators and exhibition objects. The purpose of this study is to find the methodology which is enable to establish the exhibition theme and presentation system through the selection and analysis of exhibition objects in major cases of a musem of ecience and engneering, to find the process model till the methodology applies to the space scheme, and to find finally the designed indicators which is applicable to the progress of exhibition desigv.

뮤지엄 전시공간구조와 관람행태의 상관관계에 관한 연구 - 한국의 수도권 공립 역사계 뮤지엄의 관람밀도의 측면에서 - (A study on the correlation between exhibition space configurations and visitors' viewing behavior in museums - From a Viewpoint of Visitor Density in Public History Museums in Seoul Metropolitan Area of Korea -)

  • Museums in Korea have experienced continuing quantitative growth since the late Choson Dynasty. However, a careful examination of visitors' viewing behavior has not been properly performed. Accordingly, social education for visitors in museums is not properly conducted despite the vast amount of information that museums possess. Given these circumstances, this study which focuses on the factors that influence visitors' behavior in museums intends to examine the effects that the configuration of exhibition space and the resulting visitor circulation patterns have on visitors' behavior with regard to visitor density. From this perspective, and considering five public historical museums within the seoul metropolitan area of korea, a correlation analysis has been conducted based upon quantitative analysis related to the configuration of exhibition space and visitors' observed viewing behaviors. The result of our study is that the configuration of exhibition space influences the patterns of visitor circulation, distribution of space, and the subsequent state of visitor density. Accordingly, the effects of visitor density on the viewing speed and other viewing behaviors could be identified. Based on these findings, the configurational differences in exhibition spaces were identified as one of the key factors that influence visitors' viewing behaviors.

  • The exhibition would have benefited from a more sustained examination of the contemporary meanings and historic meanings behind fashion ideas and architecture as a communication vehicles, which reflect public preferences as an art or design. Both are based on structure, shape, and th ornament basic necessities. Skin+Bones pools contemporary exemplars and cultural capital - providing resources, creating the opportunity for new hybrids, and advancements for fashionistas who are much more interested in fashion. The overall aim of this research is to understand both fashion and architecture by analyzing exhibition and interpreting the meaning of objects that have been shown and studying the problems and obstacles to be overcome in presenting a significant meaning of fashion and architecture.

박물관건축과 전시공간의 변천과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the change process of museum building and exhibit space)

  • Museums in Korea have a long history of 100 years. It is not too much to say, though, that in fact, they in the history have lasted only for 20 to 30 years. Daejeon World Expo in 1993 and the foundation of local governments in 1995 not only played an important role in the growth of museums, but also affected the spatial development in terms of architecture and exhibition. Based on the theoretical background of museums' historical, formative, and exhibition-spatial changes, this study grasps the changes in public museums established during the last 20 to 30 years, and analyzes the changing roles of museums in the future. The preliminary study shows that the formative and spatial changes of museums partially resulted from the changes in visitors' pattern. Besides, as a result of the utilization of PEST Analysis, a macroscopic competition analysis method, it turned out that the construction of public museums in Korea was promoted with in mind the political and social significance after the establishment of the autonomous government. For unique museums to be established in local regions, it is necessary to proceed with a consistent investigation on museums in various perspectives rather than merely relying on the administrative exhibition services led by the organizations.

  • This cases are designated to examine various respect of space program in a museum which are focused on 32 exhibition unit space among the 9 case studies of public museum. Therefore, this study cases offer comprehension of a character and trend about exhibition space through the analysis and classification. Also, through setting up the guide line for the classification of exhibition unit space, the intention of the case study is the use of the case study as guide line and offer the basic data of exhibition space for consideration of exhibition act and moving line caused by the exhibition unit space type.

  • The World exposition is considered as a great event to promote the cultural exchanges of their own urbanism and share the technological developments among the various countries across the all over the world. So many countries in the world desired to host and take part in the EXPO, so far only few countries have had the chance to hold the event and show their uniqueness of urban culture, but we might say the past exhibition as those for display and publication of matters of science, technology and trade, now we must say expositions of the 21th century has come under variations on cultural and informational interchange and humanism from the global issue and problem. What makes possible to maximize the effort of reciprocal communication between people and the public can be the EXPO event as a means of the public information of the theme and this kind of event should suggest the public a message of the topic, message, image and even more the EXPO spirits and theme as an international event gives as much considerably spreading effect as its big scale. In that aspect, the pavilion for the exhibition of EXPO and public information should be recognized as a place for smoothly forming the activities of reciprocal communication between the society and the public, with such a aspect this study, as its purpose of improving as well as communication, concerns the process in projecting the space paradigm of pavilion in the EXPO and public message and information as a means of the communication of the global theme.
