1,2-Dichlorobenzene 및 질소산화물 동시제거를 위한 촉매연구 (A Study on Catalysts for Simultaneous Removal of 1,2-Dichlorobenzene and NOx)

  • 다양한 금속(Ru, Mn, Co, Fe)을 $Al_2O_3$$CeO_2$에 담지한 촉매를 이용하여 1,2-Dichlorobenzen (1,2-DCB) 제거를 위한 촉매산화 실험을 실시하였다. 이와 더불어 동시에 NOx 제거가 이루어져 단일 촉매층에서 산화/환원 이원 기능이 가능한 촉매를 연구하고자 하였다. 실험결과 1,2-DCB 산화제거효율은 Ru/Co/$Al_2O_3$, Mn-Fe/$CeO_{2}$, 상용촉매인 Cr/$Al_2O_3$ 순으로 나타났다. 또한 1,2-DCB 산화제거효율이 가장 우수하였던 Ru/Co/$Al_2O_3$는 Chlorobenzene (CB)의 분해실험에서도 VOC 제거에 있어서 잘 알려진 Pt-Pd/$Al_2O_3$ 보다 우수한 활성을 나타내었다. 또한 $Cl_2$와 같은 생성물에 의하여 활성의 저하 및 황에 대한 내피독성과 내구성에서 우수한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. NOx 제거에 있어서도 $260^{\circ}C$에서 NOx 전환율이 70% 정도로 나타났다.

압전변압기용 PT-PZ-PNN 세라믹스의 그레인 크기에 따른 압전특성 (The Piezoelectric Characteristics Depending on the GrainSize of the PT-PZ-PNN Ceramics)

  • The piezoelectric properties of the PT-PZ-PNN system ceramics were investigated depending on the variati on of the grain size. The grain size was varied by sintering temperature, and additive. The effect of the grain size on the electrical, dielectric, and piezoelectric properties was studied with respect to the feasibility of the application for the piezoelectric transformer. Grain size increased as the PMW contents increased. The smaller the particle size used, the smaller the grain size obtained. Specimens are densily sintered. Dielectric and piezoelectric properties are not always improved in proportion to the grain sizes. When he particle size are fine and the grain size are increased properly with the optimum additives, the piezoelectric preperties have good values. the specimen sintered at 1200$\^{C}$ with PMW 2 mol% and MnO$\_$2/ 0.5wt% contents exhibited good piezoelectric properties for a piezoelectric transformer.

  • Generally, Piezoelectric ceramics based lead-zirconate-titanate(PZT) system are well known to use in high power devices. In this pacer. Pb(Mn$\sub$1/3//Sb$\sub$2/3/)O$_3$(PMS) ceramics which have been shown to be adaptable for a high power usage is introduced. The stability of piezoelectric properties in PZ-PT-PMS solid solution system such as piezoelectric constants. electromechanical coupling coefficient and mechanical quality factor is discussed by the addition effect of CeO$_2$ as a additive. The CeO$_2$ ratio ranges from 0 to 2 wt%. The resonant and anti-resonant frequencies. mechanical quality factor, and force factor are also measured as a function of vibration velocity

마샬공화국 고코발트망간각 화학조성의 원소 상관관계 (Elemental Correlations of Chemical Compositions in Co-rich Mn-crusts of the Republic of Marshall Islands)

  • Characteristics and variations of chemical compositions in Co-rich crusts occurred in the EEZ of the Republic of Marshall Islands were reviewed. Correlation coefficient analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis, and Q-mode factor analysis for 62 samples were done in this study. All data were selected and gathered from the open file report of the cooperative cruise done by United States Geological Survey with Scripps Institute of Oceanography, University of Hawaii or Korea Ocean Research Development Institute. The average of crust thickness. Co content, and Ni content of 62 samples from the 21 seamounts were 30mm, 0.58 wt% and 0.40%, respectively. The mineral phases and associated elements assigned by correlation coefficients, cluster analysis and Q-mode factor analysis are following four. 1) CFA: P, Ca, CO2, Y, Sr: 2) Mn-oxide mineral: As, Mn, Co, Na: 3) Al-silicate mineral: Pd,Si, Al, Cu, Fe: 4) PGE-bearing mineral: Rh, Pt, Ir.

방향족 활성 Chloro화합물의 Alkoxy기 치환에 관한 연구 (Stydies on the Substitution of the Activated Aromatic Chloride with Alkoxy Group.)

  • p-Chloronitrobenzene(substrate) and p-nitrophenetole (product) were quantitatively analyzed to know the degree of extent of reaction in the process of time. The calibration curve was prepared by the internal satndard method in gaschromatography. 2,6-Dimethyl-naphthalene was used as internal standard. The rate constant(k), the reaction velocity in various concentrations of NaOH altered, and the formation of byproducts(azo-compound and p-nitrophenol) with the amounts of MnO$_{2}$ and NaOH altered, were studied. From the results of these of MnO$_{2}$ and NaOH altered, were studied. From the results of these experiments, this reaction was second order and the rate constant was k=10.3 $\times$ 10$^{-3}$ mole$^{-21$. When p-chloronitrobenaene 1 pt. NaOH 0.56pts. MnO$_{2}$ 0.5pts. and ethanol 25 pts-were reacted about 10 hours, p-nitrophenetole was nearly quantitatively obtained without byproducts.

  • In recent years, much attention has been paid to "Photocatalytic oxidation" as an alternative technique, where the pollutants are degraded by UV-irradiation in the presence of a semiconductor suspension such as titanium dioxide. $TiO_2$ is the most often used photocatalyst due to its considerable photocatalytic activity, high stability, non-environmental impact and low cost. 1n this research, the photocatalytic degradation of humic acid, acetaldehyde and methylene blue in $UV/TiO_2$ systems has been stydied. The effect of calcination temperature for manufacturing of $TiO_2$ photocatalysts and type of photocatalysts on photodegradation has been investigated. Photocatalysts with various metal ions(Mn, Fe, Cu and Pt) loading are tested to evaluate the effects of metal ions impurities on photodegradation. The photodegradation efficiency with $Pt-TiO_2$ or $Fe-TiO_2$ or $Cu-TiO_2$ is higher than Degussa P-25 powder. However, the photodegradation efficiency with $Mn-TiO_2$ is lower than Degussa P-25 powder. The photocatalytic properties of the nanocrystals were strongly dependent upon the crystallinity, particle size, standard reduction potential of various transition metal and electronegativity of various transition metal. As a result photocatalysts with various metal ion loading evaluated the effect of photodegradation.

서로 다른 촉매를 사용하는 과산화수소 추력기의 응답 속도 (The Response time of the Hydrogen Peroxide Monopropellant Thruster as Different Catalysts)

  • 고농도 과산화수소를 분해시킬 수 있는 다양한 촉매의 성능을 비교하였다. 감마 알루미나에 산화망간, 백금, 이리듐을 각각 코팅하여 펠렛 촉매를 제작하였다. 50 Newton 급 추력기를 이용하여 펄스 응답 특성을 비교하였다. 그 결과 이리듐 촉매가 가장 빠른 응답성을 나타내었으나, 연속모드에서 반응 실패 경향을 보여 과산화수소 분해용 촉매로는 부적절하였다. 백금, 산화망간 촉매 또한 우수한 반응성을 보여 높은 가능성을 보였으며, 고추력 추력기와 같이 촉매양이 많이 요구되는 경우, 비용문제를 고려한다면 산화망간 또한 과산화수소 분해에 적합할 것으로 판단된다.

PZN-PT-PZ계 세라믹의 초전특성에 관한연구 (A Study on Pyroelectric Characteristics of PZN-PT-PZ Ceramics)

  • In this paper, xPb(Zn$\_$1/3/Nb$\_$2/3/)O$_3$-yPbTiO$_3$-zPbZrO$_3$-zPbZrO$_3$ (0.5wt%)MnO$_2$ ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method sintered at 1250$^{\circ}C$ for 2[hrs] and then the dielectric and pyroelectric properties were investigated. In 0.10PZN-0.45PT-0.47PZ sample, dielectric constant was 829 and in the case of 01.5PZN-0.45PT-0.40PZ sample, pyroelectric current and pyroelectric coefficient were 0.95 x 10$\^$-7/ [A] and 7.6 x 10$\^$-1/ [C/$\textrm{cm}^2$$.$$^{\circ}C$]. Figure of merits of pyroelectric current and voltage and detectivity, in same sample, has shown good properties, that were 2.4 x 10$\^$-8/[C$.$cm/J], 5.5 x 10$\^$-11/[C$.$cm/J], 1.6 x 10$\^$-8/ [C$.$cm/J].

PZT/LSMO/Pt에 대한 펄스레이저 및 졸겔법에 의한 증착연구 (PZT/LSMO/Pt Thin-Film by Pulse Laser and Sol-Gel Deposition)

  • 강자성, 초거대자기저항체인 $La_{0.67}Sr_{0.33}MnO_{3}$ 타겟을 이용하여 248nm의 파장을 갖는 KrF 엑시머 레이저를 사용한 PLD법으로 박막으 제작하고, 강유전체 물질인 $PbZr_{0.52}Ti_{0.48}O_{3}$ 물질을 spin coating 방법으로 제조하였다. Pt 기관(111)위에 125 mtorr의 산소분압으로 증착한 rhombohedral 구조를 갖는 LSMO 박막을 증착하고 그 위에 PZT 물질을 증착한 결과 LSMO, PZT en 물질 모두 단일상으로 [111]방향으로서의 성장하였음을 알 수 있었다. AFM(atomic force micrscope) data 및 SEM(scanning electron microscope) data를 바탕으로 매우 균질한 박막을 얻었음을 알 수 있었으며, 이때의 자기적 성질 및 전기적 성질은 각각 강자성적인 성질 및 강유전체적인 성향을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과를 가지고 박막증착에 있어서 서로간의 결정구조가 미치는 영향과 다른 경향에 대한 조절이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.
