A review was conducted by Korean Medicine neuropsychiatrist experts on tools and user's usage plan. Among tools presented in CP, HAM-A, HAM-D, CGI, SAS, and TESS for anxiety disorder, CPG, ISI, and PSQI for insomnia disorder, CPG, STAI, and STAXI for Hwabyeong were frequently used in CPG. For dementia CPG, MoCA, MMSE, HDS, ADL, and ADAS-cog were frequently used. Among them, MoCA, ADL, and ADAS-cog were suggested tools in CP. Conclusions: As a result of analyzing tools suggested and used in the developed CPs and CPGs, it was verified that various tools were used in each study. Most of them were symptom and behavioral evaluation scales. Therefore, symptoms and behavior evaluation scales used more frequently should be able to be used in the clinical scene of Korean Medicine.

Bibliotherapy serves as a therapy to understand a client and participants basic material sources and the effects of that particular treatment (necessary for program verification of psychological tools utilized). Its design is based both on literature selection and employed activities tools. Currently, bibliotherapy has been used mainly as a method to understand and diagnose a client and participants using simple and uniform questions. The development of appropriate and, possibly, additional assessment tools and report forms required for bibliotherapy evaluations in this study will be applied to actual case scenarios to determine the validity of this program and/or tools.

  • A number of tools and equipment can measure the degree of stress. Stress measurement includes both psychological and physiological measurements. Considering only one of these elicits subjective or objective deficiency. Overcoming this problem requires a new stress index that combines these two measurements. Following people's personal traits, the measurement results also appear in diverse ways, but we can consider and study the general case obtained on the basis of the measurement tool. By using the index obtained by the psychological and physiological measurement tools, we obtain an integrated stress index. Therefore, we choose to use four stress measurement tools. The index of the result of each measurement tools is referred to as the multi-index. These indices are plotted on coordinates to analyze and diagnose the balance and tendency of the stress.

  • We evaluated the problems of the current disaster psychological recovery support system of the Ministry of Interior and Safety for periodic infectious disease disasters, including COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019). The current disaster psychological recovery support systems are challenging to preemptively respond to infectious disease disasters over a wide range and for a long period. These result from the workforce shortage according to the face-to-face consultation method and the limited real-time application of consultation contents. Additionally, due to the workforce shortage, it is difficult to track those who have experienced disasters in the long term. Furthermore, most disaster psychology evaluation tools are for adults, and there are few evaluation tools for children and adolescents. This paper presents an advanced disaster psychological recovery support platform technology that can actively assist people in psychological recovery from disasters while mitigating these issues.

The research introduces reading assessment tools from a psychological standpoint for the purpose of increasing reading efficiency through literature reviews. There are four categories reading attitude, interest, motivation and perception on reading. Also the research presents the suggestion to make a new reading assessment tool at a later time. • Psychological and cognitive development in child and adolescent periods is key knowledge for understanding children and adolescents' behavior and inducing their actions. So far, psychoanalytic approaches have been primarily researched by Freud's analytical tools and Piaget's analysis on cognitive developments have been mainly employed to explore children and adolescents' psychological developments. In addition, other various theories have been suggested in order to explain children and adolescents' psychological developments. However, in reality, it is difficult to integrate diverse theoretical lens to investigate children and adolescents' psychological developments. Considering this constraint, in clinical dentistry, the conventional theoretical instruments have been still widely employed to guide children and adolescents' behavior.

  • Wolff Parkinson White (WPW) syndrome is a condition in which there is an aberrant conduction pathway between the atria and ventricles, resulting in tachycardia. A 42-year-old patient, who was treated for WPW syndrome previously, presented with chronic somatic pain. With her cardiac condition in mind, she was thoroughly worked up for a recurrence of disease. As part of routine screening of all patients at our pain clinic, she was found to have severe depression as per the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) criteria. After ruling out sinister causes, she was treated for depression using oral Duloxetine and counselling. This led to resolution of symptoms, and improved her mood and functional capability. This case highlights the use of psychological screening tools and diligent examination in scenarios as confusing as the one presented here. Addressing the psychological aspects of pain and adopting a holistic approach are as important as treatment of the primary pathology.
