  • In this paper, we want to able to reduce the time effectively about the analysis of protocol and development of protocol converter in industrial network. For this purpose, we developed the user protocol converter that can be to analysing the communication protocol in the industrial network. and also that is able to converting to user protocol and transmitting to another network. The developed user protocol converter was consist of S/W and H/W, and is supporting the Modbus, the NMEA0183 and the ethernet. The hardware main processor was used the AVR128, and placed the serial communication part and the ethernet part in converter board. The experiment results, we acquired very high transmission rate and conversion rate.

  • With the rapid development of the Internet of Things, the problem of privacy protection has been paid great attention. Recently, Nikooghadam et al. pointed out that Kumari et al.'s protocol can neither resist off-line guessing attack nor preserve user anonymity. Moreover, the authors also proposed an authentication supportive session initial protocol, claiming to resist various vulnerability attacks. Unfortunately, this paper proves that the authentication protocols of Kumari et al. and Nikooghadam et al. have neither the ability to preserve perfect forward secrecy nor the ability to resist key-compromise impersonation attack. In order to remedy such flaws in their protocols, we design a lightweight authentication protocol using elliptic curve cryptography. By way of informal security analysis, it is shown that the proposed protocol can both resist a variety of attacks and provide more security. Afterward, it is also proved that the protocol is resistant against active and passive attacks under Dolev-Yao model by means of Burrows-Abadi-Needham logic (BAN-Logic), and fulfills mutual authentication using Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications (AVISPA) software. Subsequently, we compare the protocol with the related scheme in terms of computational complexity and security. The comparative analytics witness that the proposed protocol is more suitable for practical application scenarios.

  • As the size and complexity of newly suggested info-communications protoecis are incresing ,we need auto-matic tools for the protocol development. There were active researches on the develoment of these automatictools to support the efficient protocol developments But,till now, even though a lot of tools were developed, those are in the experimental stage and their practicality is pretty far away regardless of significant theoretical rescarch effort invested to produce them.Almost all the tools developed so far were usually develped ineividu-ally and they show limitations in the intergated protocol develpements. In this paper,to resolve these limitations,we integrated already developed tools systematically and designed and constructed an intergrated environment composed of diverse tools for the dffdctive protocol developments. The intergated environment ofers a comlete cycle of the protocol develeopment period via thee automation of using protocol development tools and improves the reliability of protocol.

  • Purpose: Delirium can be a highly prevalent symptom in intensive care units but it may still be under-recognized despite its relation with inclined morbidity, mortality, cost, and readmission. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a protocol that covers risk factors and non-pharmacological interventions to prevent delirium in ICU patients. Methods: This study was conducted using methodological design, and it followed the Scottish Intercollegiate Guideline Network (SIGN) guideline development steps: 1) the scope of protocol was decided (population, intervention, comparison, and outcomes); 2) guidelines, systematic reviews, and protocols were reviewed and checked using methodology checklist; 3) the level of evidence and recommendation grades was assigned; 4) the appropriateness of recommendations was scored by experts; 5) the final protocol & algorithm was modified and complemented. Results: The evidence-based delirium prevention protocol was completed that includes predisposing factors, precipitating factors and recommendations with evidenced grades. Conclusion: This protocol can be used as a guide nurses in screening patients with high risk factors of delirium as well as in intervening the patients non-pharmacologically to prevent delirium.

  • In order to satisfy the requirements of time reduction and cost saving for development of electronic control systems(ECU) in automotive industry, the applications of a standardized real-time operating system(RTOS) and a communication protocol to ECUs are increased. In this study, a body control module(BCM) that employs OSEK/VDX(open system and corresponding interfaces for automotive electronics/vehicle distributed executive) OS tour the RTOS and a controller area network(CAN) fur the communication protocol is designed, and the performances of the system are evaluated. The BCM controls doors, mirrors, and windows of the vehicle through the in-vehicle network. To identify all the transmitted and received control messages, a PC connected with the CAN communication protocol behaves as a CAN bus emulator. The control system based upon in-vehicle network improves the system stability and reduces the number of wiring harness. Furthermore it is easy to maintain and simple to add new features because the system is designed based on the standards of RTOS and communication protocol.

  • Recently with the rapid development of data communication products and service industry, the system on behalf of users for multimedia services such as VoD(Video on Demand), Teleshopping are at the height of development, However, if the new style products and services do not conform to the international standard, the products will come to lose the competitive power in the market. Therefore, it is essential to have conformance testing considered the properties of related protocol for the interoperability of the products and services. As a systematic and efficient conformance testing method of new products in respect of the main protocol of DAVIC(Digital Audio Visual Council) standard, this paper presents the protocol test methodology and architecture ; a single protocol stack an the related protocol stacks testing.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing protocol for care of hospitalized foreign patients based on necessary nursing care and to evaluate content validity and practical applicability. Methods: A survey was conducted to identify the need for protocol development and to prioritize necessary content to be included in the protocol (N=110). A draft protocol was developed, and 7 experts and 115 nurses evaluated content validity and practical applicability of the protocol. Results: Results of the needs survey showed that all participants agreed there is a need for a protocol. Based on the survey results, a protocol was developed which included: regional culture and healthcare, admission/discharge care, surgical care, pain management, care in diagnostic testing, medication administration, and blood transfusion. Score on the experts' evaluation of content validity of the protocol was $3.66{\pm}0.28$. Practical applicability score was $3.61{\pm}0.29$ in the experts' group and $3.16{\pm}0.11$ in the nurses' group. Total score for validity of the overall content was $29.46{\pm}5.62$. Conclusion: The nursing protocol developed in this study for care of hospitalized foreign patients can contribute to improvement in quality of nursing care for these patients and can also be used as a teaching guideline to educate nurses.

  • Purpose: Resuscitation rooms in emergency department are places for time-critical tasks. This study aimed 1) to develop a resuscitation protocol for dyspneic patients and 2) to evaluate the effect of the resuscitation protocol for dyspneic patients in improving clinical performances. Methods: A panel of experts including emergency physicians and nurses developed a resuscitation protocol for dyspneic patients which included a list of critical interventions and time-limits. The resuscitation protocol was implemented in a emergency medical center for two months. Clinical performances of health care providers were compared by analyzing video-recorded clinical performances. Results: The resuscitation protocol consisted of four steps: Initial treatments within 5 minutes, main treatments within 15 minutes, diagnostic tests within 30 minutes, and disposition within 60 minutes. A total of 43 dyspneic patients (23 patients experimental group, 20 patients control group) were included for the analysis of the clinical performance change. Clinical performance rates were improved significantly from control group (66.71%) to experimental group (82.41%) after implementing the resuscitation protocol (Z=-3.09, p=.004). Conclusion: The resuscitation protocol developed for dyspneic patients improved clinical performance rates of health care providers. Further development of clinical protocols for other emergent cases at resuscitation rooms are strongly recommended.
