Series Resonant Full Bridge Inverter for Battery-fed Microwave Oven (배터리 구동 전자레인지를 위한 직렬 공진형 풀브릿지 인버터)

  • In order to solve the problem of system efficiency reduced on account of two stage power conversion, we propose a series resonant full bridge Inverter circuit for battery-fed microwave oven. This circuit has both a compact size and a light weight comparing with the conventional HVT(High Voltage Transformer) method. Also, it may be adjusted power levels of the microwave oven by a frequency control. In this paper, operational principles are explained in detail in order to understand the circuit operation. Also, a proto-type Inverter circuit with 1[kW] Power consumption is built and tested for verifying the operation.

  • RAON은 우라늄과 같은 무거운 이온을 가속시키는 한국형 중이온 가속기로서 현재 양산에 필요한 실험 시설이 구축되고 있다. 이온원을 생성하고 생성된 중이온 빔을 손실 없이 가속시키기 위해서는 빔의 경로인 입사기장치, 가속장치, 실험장치에서 요구하는 최적의 진공 설계가 이루어져야 하며, 이를 제어하기 위해 진공 기기들과의 데이터 통신 및 기기를 보호하기 위한 인터록 로직을 구성하여야 한다. RAON의 진공부 인터록 로직 및 제어 시퀀스는 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)으로 구성되며, Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) 환경에 통합되어 중앙 제어 시스템에서 관리됨과 동시에 Control System Studio (CSS)를 통해 모니터링 될 것이다. 이를 위해서는 CSS 및 PLC 와 데이터를 송수신할 수 있는 EPICS IOC를 구성하여야 한다. 본 문서에서는 진공 기기들의 정보를 로컬 PLC에서 수집하고, 진공 상태 및 진공 기기들의 작동을 위한 User Interface (UI) 및 EPICS IOC를 구성하는 방법에 대해 논의할 것이다. 진공부 제어 사전 테스트를 위해 프로토 타입 진공 제어 시스템을 구성하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 추후 최적화 된 RAON의 진공 제어 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • We report the current status of Japanese lunar exploration SELENE (SELenological and ENgineering Explorer). As of the end of 2004, scientific instruments onboard the Main Orbiter are under final checkout before they are provided to the proto-flight-model (PFM) integration test. Also, we present the future perspectives of the lunar based instruments and facilities. 'In-situ Lunar Orientation Mea-surement (ILOM)' experiment measures the lunar rotation with high accuracy by tracking stars on the Moon with a small photo-zenith-tube type optical telescope. A basic idea of a radio telescope array of very low frequency range on the lunar far-side is also mentioned.

  • In this paper, the power factor correction circuit using a parallel drive method is proposed so that the high power inverter air-conditioner with 3[hp] compressor motor may obtain the cost down and the improved performance. The adequate design porcedures are presented to reduce the material costs by eliminating the power factor imprving LC filter and derating output capacitor and inverter switches. Using the determined components. the proto-type circuit with 6[kW] power consumption is built and tested to verify the operation of the proposed circuit.

Estimation of Maneuvering Mathematical Model by System Identification Techniques (시스템 검증에 의한 조종수학 모형의 평가)

  • The mathematical model used in the simulation of ship's maneuvering contains the hydrodynamic coefficients, which are usually evaluated based on PMM model tests in the towing tank and used to predict ship's maneuvering performance when applied to the proto-type ship. The proper mathematical model has to be developed to predict ship's maneuvering motions with hydrodynamic coefficients very well. The mathematical model for PMM model tests is analyzed with identification program and the hydrodynamic coefficients and maneuvering motions by system identification we compared with those obtained directly from PMM model tests and sea trial. The mathematical model for PMM model tests was established and the magnitudes of ship's maneuvering coefficients were determined. When the identified values of coefficients were used to simulate the maneuvers, a very good agreement was obtained between the numerically simulated motion responses and those obtained from PMM model tests.

  • KVN 샘플러의 국산화를 위하여, 우리는 지난 3년간의 연구로 1GHz 샘플러 Proto-Type을 설계하고 제작하였다. 첨단망인 KREONET을 이용하여 각 전파천문대를 연결하고, 바로 대전 센터로 관측 데이터를 전송하는 e-VLBI를 구현할 수 있다면, 연구의 가치와 효율을 극대화 할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 샘플러에서 직접 첨단망으로 VDIF(VLBI Data Interchange Format, VLBI 자료전송 규격)의 자료를 보낼 수 있게 새로운 샘플러를 설계하고 제작하고자 한다.

  • An analysis of handling characteristics of a vehicle is performed for step and pulse steering input, which may be very useful in suspension design stage. Many developed computer programs for vehicle dynamics require test data of compliance effects for proto type car. Therefore, these programs are not suitable for automobile development stage. Using the raw design data of suspension and steering system, we analyze the vehicle behavior for step and pulse steering input with commercial multibody dynamics program, ADAMS. Simulated results are in good agreement with vehicle test results. Vehicle handling characteristics parameters which are very useful in automobile suspension design are evaluated from the analysis.

  • We introduce the trend, of several countries, to the gas insulated transformer recently coming into the spot light by the advantages of less weight, GIS-lization, low noise level and easiness to decrease environmental pollutions, and the insulating gases. the cooling media and the insulating materials used for transformer. Hereinafter, additively the design of proto type $SF_6$ gas insulated transformer (insulation, cooling), which was developed by us(HICO) from 1987. 2 through 1990. 3, the manufacturing processes(leak protection, pressure, drying of main body), the accessories, the protective system, the cooling system, the method and the results of test and the evaluation of economics compared with conventional oil-filled transformer are represented.

  • This paper deals with the design on iron-core shape for superconducting hybrid electromagnet (SH-EM). A proto-type SH-EM was developed by Yonsei University. It is the first step study on the fundamental technology for advanced railroad system development. We proposed the method that reduce the number of cooling systems in order to improve operating efficiency of the SH-EM. The results was obtained by changing of iron-core shape were verified by the FEM analysis. This paper can be expected to suggest useful data for an advanced SH-EM.

  • 승강장 스크린도어(PSD: Platform Screen Door)는 철도, 경전철 및 지하철 승강장 내 추락, 전동차 사이의 끼임 등의 안전사고 방지 및 승강장의 공기오염 개선, 장애인, 노약자 등의 탑승편의에 관한 문제, 승강장내의 쾌적한 환경문제 제공 등을 위해 전동차 승강장의 선단에 고정 및 가동 도어를 설치하여 승강장과 선로를 차단함으로써 이용 고객의 안전사고를 예방하는 설비를 말한다. 국내 업체들은 기술 투자를 통해 종합 제어반 및 각종 조작반, RF장치 등 상당 부분 국산화를 이루었지만, 짧은 기간 동안 승강장 스크린 도어를 설치하면서 승강장 스크린 도어 시스템의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 승강장 스크린 도어용 제어장치(DCU: Door Control Unit)의 완전한 국산화는 이루지 못한 채 외국 제품을 도입하여 설치하고 있거나 DC 모터를 적용한 제어장치를 개발하여 설치하고 있는 실정이었다. 본 연구에서는 BLDC 모터를 적용한 제어장치를 국산화하여 시제품을 제작하였고 월미도의 은하레일에 제어기를 설치하여 성능을 검증하였다.
