자외선 차단제품에서 자외선차단지수(SPF)와 자외선A차단등급(PA)에 영향을 주는 인자에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors that Influence the Sun Protection Factor(SPF) and Protection Factor of UV-A(PA) in Sunscreen)

  • 본 연구에서는 자외선 차단제품에서 오일의 극성도, 에멀젼의 종류, 제품의 점도, 증점제의 종류 그리고 광안정제 등이 자외선 차단 효율에 미치는 영향을 조사해 보았다. 그 결과 오일의 극성도가 높으면 자외선 차단 효과는 높게 측정되었으며(Butyloctyl salicylate: SPF 44.10, PA 7.93), 반대로 오일의 극성도가 낮으면 자외선 차단 효과는 낮게 측정되었다(Dimethicone: SPF 16.40, PA 5.57). 에멀젼의 종류는 O/W 에멀젼보다 유기 자외선 차단제가 외상에 존재하는 W/O 에멀젼에서 자외선 차단 효율이 더 높게 측정되었다. 제품의 점도는 높아질수록 자외선 차단 효율이 비례적으로 상승하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 증점제의 종류 및 유화입자 크기는 자외선 차단 효과에 미치는 영향이 크지 않았다. 또한 광안정제의 함유 여부도 자외선 차단 효율에 영향을 미치는 중요한 인자 중의 하나로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들은 자외선 차단제의 추가적인 증량이 없어도 자외선 차단 효율을 더 높일 수 있음을 의미하는 것으로, 앞으로 자외선 차단제품 개발 시 경제적 효율성을 높이는데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

무연 방사선 차폐 시트에 대한 몬테카를로 전산모사 (Monte Carlo Simulation for Radiation Protection Sheets of Pb-Free)

  • 방사선 특히, 엑스선 또는 감마선으로부터 인체를 보호하기 위해 납(Pb)으로 된 보호 장구를 광범위하게 사용해왔다. 최근 납 중독 및 환경오염의 문제로 납을 대신하는 무연 방사선 차폐재의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 차폐재의 성능 확보를 위해서는 제작 및 평가의 순환 사이클을 반복하게 된다. 본 연구는 실제 무연 방사선 차폐소재의 제작에 앞서 차폐재의 성능을 몬테카를로 전산모사를 통해 확인함으로써 가능한 차폐소재의 조합을 연구하였다. 방사선 차폐소재의 평가에 사용되는 조건으로 엑스선관을 Geant4를 이용하여 전산모사하고 획득된 광자 스펙트럼을 이용하여 텅스텐과 비스무스의 조합에 따른 차폐소재의 성능을 평가하였다. 차폐소재의 공극에 따른 성능 저하도 평가하였다. 방사선 차폐 소재 개발 시 공극률을 줄이는 것이 중요한 인자라는 것을 알 수 있었다.

The Effect of a Natural Zeolite (Clinoptilolite) on the Performance of Broiler Chickens and the Quality of Their Litter

  • The objective of this study was to assess the effect of clinoptilolite (a natural zeolite) on growth and performance of broilers as well as on the quality of their litter. A total of 5,200 one-day old broiler chickens (Cobb 500) were used in two consecutive rounds lasting 42 days each. The broilers were given free and continuous access to a nutritionally non-limiting diet (in meal form) that was either a basal diet (B) or a 'zeolite diet' (Z; the basal diet supplemented with clinoptilolite at a level of 2%). A $2{\times}2$ factorial design consisted of two feeding treatments (B and Z) and two bedding types, sawdust (S) and sawdust with zeolite (Sz, which was the result of adding $2kg\;zeolite/m^2$), was used. In each round the broilers were randomly assigned to one of four (n = 650), treatment groups: two fed on the basal diet (B) and had bedding of either sawdust (group BS) or sawdust and zeolite (group BSz) and two fed on the Z diet and had as bedding either sawdust (ZS) or sawdust and zeolite (ZSz). Average growth rates were significantly (p<0.05) different between broilers of different groups; broilers that were fed on the 'zeolite diet' (Z) and were placed either in a compartment with sawdust bedding or sawdust bedding and zeolite (ZS and ZSz) as well those that were fed on the basal diet in a compartment with sawdust bedding and zeolite (BSz) grew at a faster rate (p<0.05) compared with those of the control group (BS). The incorporation of NZ in broilers diets and in their bedding material decreased the organic content in litter samples throughout the experimental period. The lowest organic content was recorded in group ZSz where NZ was added in both feed and litter. Mean ammonia concentration (ppm) was significantly higher in group ZS in comparison to groups BSz and ZSz (27.00 vs. 20.55 and 21.71 respectively). The results of this study showed that the incorporation of the clinoptilolite both in feed and into the litter had a positive effect on broiler growth and also on the quality of their litter.

해상 교량에 설치된 희생양극식 전기방식의 8년 이후의 성능에 관한 연구 (A study on the performance of the sacrificial anode used for cathodic protection of a marine bridge after 8 years)

  • 최근 우리나라의 남해고속도로 상에 있는 해상 교량의 교각에서 부식이 발생하였다. 이 해상 교량의 부식 손상부위를 보수하기 위하여 희생양극식 전기방식을 설치하였다. 본 연구에서 소개한 해상교량의 경우, 구조물의 상부에서는 부식이 발생되지 않았기 때문에 해수에 의한 조수간만의 영향을 받는 간만대와 비말대 부분에만 희생양극식 전기방식을 설치하였다. 해상교량에 희생양극식 전기방식을 설치한 후 약 8년이 경과된 시점에서 희생양극식 전기방식의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 방식전류, 방식전위 및 복극량을 측정하였다. 전체 60개의 교각에 설치된 희생양극식 음극방식의 성능에 관한 실험 결과는 방식 양호(13개 교각), 부분 방식(27개 교각), 일시적 오류(7개 교각), 피복 들뜸(13개 교각)과 같이 4부분으로 분류하였다. 방식성능이 불량한 교각에 대해서는 양극의 추가 설치 및 Jacket 시공 등과 같은 추가적인 조치가 필요하다고 판단된다.

수소충전소 방호벽 안전성 검증을 위한 TNT 폭발실증 및 전산유동 해석 (TNT Explosion Demonstration and Computational Fluid Dynamics for Safety Verification of Protection Wall in Hydrogen Refueling Station)

  • 수소사회 실현에 있어 수요자가 수소를 가장 쉽게 만날 수 있는 시설인 수소충전소의 안전 확보가 중요하다. 수소충전소는 고압의 수소를 저장하는 압축가스설비 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 시설 내 수소 누출로 인한 화재폭발 또는 주변 화재의 영향으로 고압의 압축가스설비가 파열될 위험이 있다. 이에, 한국가스안전공사는 설치단계부터 위험요인을 찾아내 설계에 반영하고 법정 검사를 통한 안전 확보에 만전을 다하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수소충전소에 설치하는 방호벽의 안전성 효과를 확인하기 위해 방호벽을 이용한 TNT 폭발 실증시험을 실시하고, CFD 프로그램인 FLACS-CFD를 이용하여 실증시험 결과와 비교·검증하였다. 실증시험 및 CFD 해석 결과 방호벽 후단에서 폭발 과압의 감소 효과가 위치에 따라 50 %에서 최대 90 %까지 감소하는 것이 확인되나, 일정거리를 벗어나면 그 효과가 떨어지는 것을 확인하였다. 방호벽의 안전성 검증을 위한 실증시험 및 전산해석 결과는 향후 방호벽 기준 최적화를 위한 제안에 활용하고자 한다.

아마직물의 방추성과 복합기능성 향상을 위한 연구 (Improvement of Wrinkle Recovery and Functional Properties in Linen Fabrics)

  • This study provides improved wrinkle recovery and UV protection capabilities as well as an antibacterial and deodorizing function to linen fabrics for summer shirts. The results obtained from this study are as follows. By setting catalyst concentration to 1.2% and DMDHEU concentration to 6% respectively and applying a heat treatment to them at $160^{\circ}C$ for 5 minutes, the decrease of fabric strength could be minimized and the crease resistance of linen fabrics improved. Compared to the treatment with DMDHEU only, the crease resistance of linen fabrics could be maintained and degradation of their properties could be more effectively prevented by applying the mixture of the UV absorber and the nano silver to the DMDHEU resin. The UV protection of fabrics could be improved by adding the UV absorber. Although the separate treatment of resin or the nano silver had no effect on the improvement of the UV protection properties for treated fabrics, they could increase the UV protection capability when they were combined with the UV absorber. Linen fabrics could possess an antibiosis and deodorizing capability by applying the mixture of the UV absorber, the nano silver, and the resin. The UV protection, crease resistance and flexibility of finished fabrics were maintained even after laundering. Washed treated fabrics maintained excellent antibiosis and odor free capabilities compared to untreated fabrics.

잊혀질 권리의 논의 동향과 우리나라 인터넷 법제의 수용과제 (Trend of Dispute on the Right to Be Forgotten and Acceptance Task of Internet Laws in Korea)

  • Matters related to the right to be forgotten started the dispute Europe to introduce it first when Data Protection Directive established in 1995 proceeded revision. Relating to this, diverse disputes proceed on responding to personal information protection and internet laws in our nation. Especially as our National Assembly submitted the law regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information and amendment of copyright, it is necessary to look into the movement on introduction of law of right to be forgotten closely in detail. EU which attempted the institutionalization for the first time, relating to review of General Data Protection Regulation, proposed opinions such as the necessity to define subjects of personal information concretely and specifically and or protection target and balanced consideration on freedom of expression which is constitutional value. In the case of our nation, there was legislation attempt to introduce the regulation but it was limited in the form of fallen effectiveness without concrete and detailed review on internet law. To solve such problems, it is necessary to look into issues and matters to be considered required to accept right to be forgotten closely and discuss possibility of introducing right to be forgotten, conflicts between fundamental rights becoming issue, effect of goal achievement of personal information protection through the system introduction, and other rational acceptance method.

발전기 보호용 다기능 IED 시제품 H/W 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Implementation of Multi-Function Prototype IED H/W for Generator Protection)

  • Generator faults does not happen more often than the transmission and substation facility faults. However, impacts on the power system by generator faults are very large. In order to minimize the impact of generator faults, generator protection and control system with high reliability is required. Most of the generator relay in generator protection and control system of large power plant of Korea is operated by imports from abroad. Accordingly, in order to accumulate source technology and increase the import substitution effect, localization of multi-function generator protection IED is being developed. This paper deals with the implementation of a multi-function prototype IED H/W, which can be command and data exchange through communication for measuring, monitoring, protection and control. And the IED specification, various relay elements, measurement elements, communication functions, module function, and test system for the prototype IED H/W are described.

  • With the rising reliance on market estimation through customer analysis in customer-centered marketing, there is a rapid increase in the amount of personal data owned by corporations. There has been a corresponding rise in the customers' interest in personal information protection, and the problem of personal information leakage has risen as a serious issue. The purpose of this research is to develop a diagnosis model for personal information protection that is suited to our country's corporate environment, and on this basis, to present diagnostic instruments that can be applied to domestic corporations. This diagnosis model is a structural equation model that schematizes the degree of synthetic effect that administration factors and estimation items have on the protection of personal information owned by corporations. We develop the model- consisting of the administration factors for personal information protection and the measurement items of each factor- using the development method of standardized structural equation model. We then present a tool through which the administration factors and estimation items verified through this model can be used in the diagnosis for personal information protection in corporations. This diagnostic tool can be utilized as a useful instrument to prevent in advance the leakage of personal information in corporations.

  • As use of tunnels and subways increase there also are accidents proportionate to it. Daegu Subway Station fire, Hongjimoon tunnel fire led people to be conscious of disaster protection and as a result, there is a trend to adopt standards for fire protection. Accordingly, this thesis is focused on investigating various fire and water protection related issues for subaqueous tunnel under Ran river. The thesis developed evacuation and disaster prevention plan as fire level increases and have identified the suitability of disaster prevention through evacuation and fire simulation, countermeasure of a water leakage during construction and operation considering the subaqueous tunnel. And we selected EPB shield TBM equipment considering the ground condition and effect of boring hole, and accomplished reasonable water protection design through setting goals using event-tree method, as well as examining model test of boring hole and flooding in heavy rain. Also included structured total system consist of water leakage sensing system, water protection gate, pumping system and fire protection system to respond systematically in emergency.
