Objectives : In order to make a proposal of a Korean standard dental hygiene curriculum, the job description of the National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board was analyzed to prepare a job analysis matrix of dental hygienist to select required core competency. Methods : Data were analyzed to test the job validity of dental hygienist and categorize the duties of dental hygienist. A proposal of a standard dental hygiene curriculum was mapped out by making a comparative analysis of the courses necessary for American authorization of dental hygiene curriculum, existing proposals of Korean standard dental hygiene curriculum and the courses of the departments of dental hygiene offered by domestic three-year colleges and four-year universities. Results : Basic medicine courses were reinforced or newly offered to provide an opportunity for students to transfer to a domestic four-year university or to a foreign university. In the field of clinical dental hygiene and practice, preventive dentistry, prophylaxis and practice were integrated, and the names of the related courses were unified to give a chance for students to engage in comprehensive dental hygiene practice. There were different courses for dental clinical science at present. In this proposal, students should earn 125 credits in total. Conclusions : Standard dental hygiene curriculum proposal was required by three-year and four-year colleges across the nation. To make it happen, the original names of dental hygiene courses should be used, and the dental hygiene certification and evaluation institute that is under the umbrella of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association should lay out the standard of the KSDHEP to facilitate the utilization of the standard dental hygiene curriculum proposal.

This study developed an integrative curriculum design plan for Home Economics through a deliberation method. This study established a research framework to integrate the deliberation models of Schwab, Walker, and Reid that inherited the intellectual tradition of curriculum deliberation along with the practical reasoning process of Brown and Paolucci from a critical science perspective. The practical research problem was formulated as "What should be done to develop a Home Economics integrative curriculum?" To address this practical research problem, deliberation with deliberators of each small, medium, and large groups was processed for the development of integrative curriculum design plans. An initial proposal was developed from small group deliberation processes. An initial proposal was examined and an alternative plan was developed from medium group deliberation processes. An alternative plan and its consequence were re-examined from large group deliberation processes. The authors finalized a proposal organized on four valued ends of self-formation, intersubjectivity, social action, and life skills. A practical problem focused integrative curriculum was developed and proposed to pursue the four valued ends. The suggested final practical problem focused curriculum demonstrates the power of Home Economics to contribute to the advancement of individuals, families, and society as well as the practical empowerment of students.

The curriculum differentiation is supposed to maximize individual strength and possibilities of the students, and to maximize educational efficiency by differentiating the instructions according to students' abilities, aptitudes, needs and interests. The Ministry of Education has suggested a stepwise model for school mathematics. This model is named "Stepwise Curriculum Differentiation"(段階別 敎育課程 差別化). In this paper, we would like to make a specific proposal for the 7th curriculum. Our proposal reflects fully the guidelines of the Ministry of Education. It is also based on the national curriculum history up to the present time. It could be used as a reference for the continuing work of curriculum reformation. We suggest dividing the contents of mathematics for 1-10th graders into about 15 steps, to use the step-based textbooks instead of the grade-based ones, and to prepare evaluation standards for each step. We also suggest that the classes for grades 11-12 be organized according to their optional courses and/or their steps.

Objectives : The each college of Korean medicine in Korea adopts diverse textbooks for the medical history class, resulting in educational contents variations. This proposal aimed for the standardization of educational contents. Methods : The transition of medical history curriculum will be attempted based on the understanding of paradigm change in modern education. The first step is investigation on the course credit and curriculum grade of medical history class presented in education status reports of all Korean medicine schools. The next step is study on the various methods about changes of medical history education base on the learning objectives of colleges of Korean medicine. Results : The researchers of medical history should make an agreement on modification of learning objectives of the curriculum, and then educational standardization must be achieved by publishing a medical history textbook in accordance with the modified learning objectives. Conclusions : The researchers of medical history must collaborate to standardize medical history education by developing and applying internet-based flipped learning model.

The aim of this study is to analyze the relationships and propose the desirable relationships between mathematics curriculum and curriculum-introduction. Under the purpose of this study, we investigate the coherence of mathematics curriculum and curriculum-introductions which have been revised through the seven curriculum-revisions to the present. And we analyze the change in the education. On the basis on this analysis, we propose mathematics textbooks which can be said that have a strong impact on the practice of mathematics the important points that should be considered in the mathematics curriculum-revision. First, we need to reconsider the order of the mathematics curriculum-revisions which has been going on from curriculum-introduction to mathematics curriculum. Second, we should take more efforts in developing the mathematics textbooks and reflect the voice of the mathematics textbooks and reflect the voice of athematics leachers in the more positive way.

The government has proposed various policies to 'extend the time for teaching information education in elementary schools'. However, in the 2022 revised practical arts (technical·home economics) curriculum, information education is still organized for only 17 hours the same as before, and there is not enough connection with the middle school information subject. In this study, policies related to information education in elementary schools such as National Strategy of Artificial Intelligence, Comprehensive Plan of Information Education, Education Policy Direction and Core Tasks in the Artificial Intelligence Era, and Digital Talent Education Plan were analyzed. In addition, after the '2022 revised national curriculum guidelines' was announced in 2021, the problems of the practical arts curriculum were analyzed by analyzing materials of the draft proposal of the curriculum and comments posted on the Public Participation Communication Channel. Finally, I suggested a plan to link the 2022 revised practical arts (technology·home economic) curriculum to the information subject of middle school in detail, and to expand information education in elementary schools.

The purpose of this paper was to discuss critical issues of 30% reduction and introduction of the contents for new Mathematics Curriculum at middle school in Japan in 2002. This paper consisted of three part: (1) The contents of the new mathematics curriculum in middle school in japan. (2) Discussion about critical issues of 30% reduction of the contents for new Mathematics Curriculum. (3) Proposal of the point of view about 2000 mathematics curriculum in Korea. The authors pointed out that the reduction of the mathematics curriculum in Korea should be considered of a true reduction more carefully.

This study is the one of the step to propose the Design studio course that apply concept of 'BIM" that is new digital environment of Architecture. This Study propose as followed, First. The proposal of the experimental course of the Design studio, Second, Application of course of study, Third, The design course of study is proceeded by purpose of completion of BIM. This study is proceeded by the purpose of the concept of the BIM first and proposals of fundamental ideas that apply the idea. Proposed training courses are marked by that divide three areas of information - architecture information, environment information, drawing information - with process consisted in professional practice of design and adjust each process and sequence. Also, this study suggest process that applying BIM tools in this work as the basis frame.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest a proposal for the betterment of the English curriculum in the Department of Tourism of a women's college. The paper includes not only the needs analysis of students but also that of personnel officers of tourism related companies and offices. Since the students will have to look for desirable jobs after graduation, the needs and demands of their potential employers or personnel officers are crucial in deciding what and how to teach. Based on these analyses, the paper also examines the current curriculum offered by the department. The needs, wants and necessities of the students, potential personnel officers, and the current curriculum will have to be taken into consideration in designing a more effective future curriculum. The results of the study reveal that more emphasis should be given on the improvement of students' communicative abilities and TOEIC scores.

This study critically appraised the accumulated articles based on the critical science perspective on Korea's home economics education. The 55 articles published from 1993 to 2011 were identified and placed into three categories: Critical science paradigm, practical problem-focused curriculum, and systems of action. The common result across categories was that some authors did not fully understand the concepts of practice, a practical problem-focused curriculum, the practical reasoning process, and the systems of action. A positive outcome of including a critical science perspective in the Korean national curriculum will be seen when systems supporting this perspective, such as those providing more specific information on a critical science perspective and the relevant textbook accreditation standards, are available. We present a proposal based on considerations of a national curriculum, teacher education, relevant philosophical perspectives, and classroom practice.
