형상정보가 없는 공종의 속성정보모델링 기법 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Property Information Modeling Methods for the Trades without Shape Information)

  • Construction industries worldwide have moved to Building Information Modeling environment in conjunction with IT technology progress. Korean domestic construction market is in the midst of enthusiastically adopting BIM technique and the public sectors try to apply the method to their projects. Difficulties have been introduced, however, in doing so mainly due to the complexity in reflecting the distinctions of the public cost estimate requirements to BIM modeling. The main objective of this study is to propose four kinds of BIM property information modeling methodologies which would be used in the quantity surveys of the public construction projects. To evaluate the applicability of the suggested modeling methods, the research performed a case study.

IFC Property Set을 활용한 강박스교 구성요소의 의미정보 생성 (IFC Property Set-based Approach for Generating Semantic Information of Steel Box Girder Bridge Components)

  • 본 연구는 강박스교의 기본계획 단계부터 실시설계 단계까지를 범위로 하여, Building Information Modeling (BIM)을 위한 데이터 모델인 Industry Foundation Classes (IFC)를 통해 구성요소의 의미정보를 생성할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. IFC기반의 의미정보 생성에 필요한 항목을 정의하기 위해 강박스교 구성요소의 설계 단계별 분류를 수행하였고, 이를 구성요소의 기능에 따른 물리적 표현요소와 위상에 따른 공간적 표현요소로 구분하여 IFC 프레임워크 내의 사용자 정의 속성집합을 활용하여 IFC에서 지원하지 않는 추가적인 항목을 생성하였다. 추가적으로 생성한 사용자 정의 속성의 유효성을 검토하기 위해 BIM 소프트웨어와 본 연구에서 개발한 강박스교 구성요소 의미정보 입력 인터페이스를 통해 IFC기반의 강박스교의 정보모델을 생성하였고, 이를 기반으로 하여 의미정보 질의를 통한 구성요소의 식별이 가능함을 확인하였다. 또한 IFC기반 강박스교 정보모델을 통해 구성부재의 수량 및 물량 산출을 수행하고, 설계도서를 통해 산출한 수량 및 물량 산출 결과 값과의 비교를 통해 본 연구에서 제안한 방법이 실제 업무에서도 활용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This study suggests IFC-based bridge information modeling methods and its application model in BIM environment. Data model extension for bridge structure was achieved using user-defined property sets based on IFC framework. First, identification information was added. Bridge members are identified through physical and spatial semantic information added as property sets. Instances for semantic information were assigned according to standardized rules. Second, CO2 related factors were added for application information model. It can play a role to calculate and manage the quantity of CO2 emission. Third, properties for temporary structure to estimate and manage the construction cost were added. Finally, we investigated proposed methods through implementing the application information model of bridges.

  • Both geophysical and geospatial data provide important information in the establishment of the optimal telecommunication systems especially in the mobile telecommunication environment. The objective of this study is to utilize geophysical properties and geospatial information in the analysis of the telecommunication environment through point-to-point wave property modeling. Geophysical properties associated with wave propagation parameters of the earth surface were analyzed based on hierarchical land classification using Landsat ETM+ and IKONOS images. Three-dimensional geospatial information was obtained by processing stereo aerial images. The results show that the accurate geospatial information and reliable geosphysical property of the surface improve the prediction of receiving power of the receivers located near corners of the buildings where diffractions occur. The wave property model developed from accurate telecommunication environment could be applied to optimal cell planning and delay time analysis.

  • BIM 도구는 설계프로세스에서 기술의 사용이 증가하면서 그에 따른 정보표준체계가 필요하게 되었다. 건설이 완료된 결과(Result) 분류는 25종 단위시설에 327종의 유형, 결과를 구성하는 객체는 174종의 Part와 207종의 Component로 분류하고 있다. 선행연구에서는 도로와 하천 분야 대상으로 속성분류체계를 대분류 4종, 중분류 13종, 소분류 58종, 속성정보 333종으로 분류하였고, 객체분류에 따른 대량의 속성정보를 입력하는 것의 소요 시간을 줄이는 것이 관건이었다. 따라서, Revit 플러그인과 같은 외부 응용 프로그램 개발을 통해 구체적이고 반복적인 작업에 자동화가 필요하다. BIM 속성분류체계를 따르면서 사용자의 생산성과 편의성을 강화할 수 있는 BIM 속성입력 프로그램을 구현하였다.

BIM-based Property Management by Linking Maintenance with Financial Data for Commercial Building Projects

  • For a commercial building, property managers play an important role in maximizing the benefit by reducing cost and increasing revenue in the operation and maintenance phase of the building. However, most of property managers are spending their time in monitoring facility managers who have little impact on cost reduction and maximization of operating profit. The industry practitioners have difficutlty in increasing the efficiency of thier work due to this work environment. In addition, both property managers(PMr) and facility managers(FMr) are dependent on the paper drawings and manuals, which can worsen the inefficiency and human errors are inevitable. This study aims to contribute to improvement of the current practice by developing a novel algorithm that autmatically links the facility information with 3D model, which can provide an efficient property management for commercial buildings.

BIM 기반 3차원 모델 라이브러리를 통한 모듈러 교각의 정보모델링 (Information Modeling of Modular Bridge Pier using BIM Based 3D-Model Library)

  • Modular technology has become a major issue of the construction industries to enhance their productivity. Modular bridge construction generally requires the collaboration between the contractor, designer, fabricator and constructor. Therefore, a readily accessible information model based on BIM technology should be provided for their communication during a construction project life-cycle. In this study, BIM based 3D information modeling was carried out for the modular bridge pier. First, the product breakdown structure (PBS) and level of detail (LOD) of the pier were defined. Based on them, 3D models were created by using parametric modeling method. In addition, database was constructed for the exchange of geometry and property data of 3D models. Finally, application areas of 3D information model were suggested, including the quantity estimation and the 4D simulation.

  • Architectural design work depends on information made from earlier phases such as feasibility study, planning, and conceptual design. This design guideline information includes design objectives, requirements, and constraints made by decision-making, and has great influence on various works of latter phases of design process. Despite of this cognition, however, the lack of design guideline information management still remains as one among the critical issues in design area. Design tools with design guideline information do not also address the issue of interoperability throughout the life-cycle of buildings. The purpose of this research is to propose a method for design guideline information management by using the IFC technology and IFC Property set (Pset) extension mechanism. The method comprises defining and mapping the practically used design guideline items and extensible IFC data model, and includes the management of relationships that exist between design guideline information and design model in the IFC data model.

위성영상 센서모형화의 정확도 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A Study for The Accuracy Assessment Method of Satellite Sensor Modeling)

  • 현재 위성영상 센서모형화의 정확도에 관한 연구는 자료의 전체적인 오차크기를 추정하는데 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 이러한 유형의 오차평가는 오차의 정량적인 크기만을 고려한 것으로 오차의 분포 특성을 해석할 수 없다는 한계점을 안고 있다. 위성영상 센서모형화 결과의 수치적 평가는 오차의 분포 특성의 부재로 위성영상 모형화 결과의 신뢰성이 떨어지게 된다. 본 연구를 통해 오차의 크기를 잘 표현할 수 있는 RMSE와 더불어 오차의 방향성 계수를 산정함으로써 오차의 분포 특성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 방향성 계수가 1에 가까울수록 특정 계통오차가 있으며 0에 가까울수록 우연오차가 있음을 확인 할 수 있어 오차의 방향성 분석을 통하여 오차를 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시할 수 있었다.

개방형 BIM 기반 품질검토를 위한 IFC 속성정보 호환성 테스트 (Interoperability Tests of IFC Property Information for Open BIM based Quality Assurance)

  • The construction industry consists of various and massive architectural information as an architectural process includes a variety of design stages with cooperation of many disciplines. A Building Information Modeling (BIM) serves as a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle from inception onward. building SMART has developed Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standard for interoperability of BIM based information. Several software tools are already IFC-compliant. However, there are a lot of problems related to efficient interoperability of software owing to the lack of guide regarding the software usage and insufficiency IFC interfaces of software. The purpose of this study is to suggest efficient IFC support interface development methodologies of existing IFC certified software. The scope of this study is interoperability test for open BIM based quality assurance. To achieve this purpose, the authors have classified subject of open BIM based quality assurance and investigated IFC certification process and certified software. In addition, the authors have exported and imported via IFC files using different IFC interfaces in the software for interoperability of architectural objects and their properties. Finally, the authors have suggested IFC support interface development methodologies and hereafter direction for efficient interoperability of IFC certified software based on open BIM.
