폴리에스테르 흡음재의 음향특성 (Acoustical Properties of Polyester Sound Absorbing Materials)

  • In this study, the acoustic properties of polyester sound absorbing materials with three different bulk densities were investigated by calculating and measuring the acoustic parameters in terms of characteristic impedance, propagation constant, and absorption coefficient. For the calculations, Delany and Bazley's empirical equation was used together with the experimentally obtained specific flow resistivities under steady flow conditions. For the experimental measurements, the well-known two-thickness method was accessed. The experimentally measured values of characteristic impedance and propagation constant were generally agreed well with the corresponding calculated values. Based on the comparisons between the calculations and measurements, it was found that the magnitude of the absorption coefficient was closely related to the characteristic impedance and the real part of the propagation constant. Especially, the maximum magnitude of the absorption coefficient was depended upon the imaginary part of the propagation constant indicating the phase change of the propagation constant.

  • 본 논문에서는 경로감쇠에 기반한 실내 음향측위 시스템에 활용할 수 있는 실내 음향신호의 경로 감쇠 특성을 분석한다. 실내 음향시스템은 주로 25 평방미터 이내의 협소한 공간에서 적용되기 때문에 기존에 정의된 넓은 공간에서의 모형만으로는 경로감쇠에 기반한 실내음향측위 시스템을 설계할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자유음장 모형과 더불어 실내공간의 온도와 습도, 그리고 대기의 주요구성성분의 홉음영향을 고려한 실내 음향신호 경로 감쇠 모형을 보이고, 무향실에서 실제 실험을 통해 모형의 적절성을 평가한다. 실험을 위해서 1kHz-20kHz의 단일 주파수를 갖는 감쇠정현파를 사용한다. 그리고 실험 음원으로 두개 이상의 단일 주파수를 갖는 감쇠정현파를 함게 사용할 대의 경로감쇠를 보이고, 이를 분석한다.

한국형 고속철도의 소음 전파특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Propagation Characteristic of Noise Sources for Korea Train Express)

  • In order to control the railway noise, the radiation characteristic of the noise when the train passes by should be analyzed. Generally, the major noise sources of the Korea Train Express are the rolling noise and power unit noise up to 300km/h. In this paper, a train model that is considered to be a row of point sourcesis introduced to analyze the radiation characteristic. The analysis results are compared with the measurement ones. It is shown that the propagation characteristic of the rolling noise is a dipole type and the noise generated by the power unit is radiated as a cosine type. With increasing of the train speed, the noise level at a receiving point is increased in the direction of motion and reduced in the direction opposite to the motion. The analysis results including the moving effect of the noise source at 300km/h show good agreement with the measurement results.

  • This paper deals with the measurement and analysis of radio characteristic of 424 MHz for using the automation of transmission and supply of electric power, ana automatic meter reading(AMR). Normally radio propagation characteristic is the base of system design, performance evaluation and choice of position of the base station in wireless communication. It is the most accurate way to design a base station through practical measurements, but it costs much time, money and engineers. So, we developed 424 MHz short range wave propagation model for AMR service.

  • 본 논문에서는 빌딩 내부의 공조 닥트를 이용한 무선 통신망의 전파 특성을 측정하고 분석한다. 공조 피더 구조를 분석하고 전송 모드를 여기할 수 있는 피더 장치를 제작하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 여기 특성을 분석한다. 2.45 GHz 와이파이 대역에서 실제 건물 내부의 공조 닥트를 통해 송수신되는 전파의 세기를 측정하고, LOS 환경 및 격벽이 있는 사무실 그리고 복도 등 여러 실내 환경 조건에서 전파를 측정하여 닥트 피더 방식과 비교한다. 측정 및 분석 결과를 활용하여 닥트를 이용한 무선망 설계 방법을 제안한다.

  • In high-speed wireless communications, an analysis of the propagation characteristics is an important process. Information on the propagation characteristics suitable for each environment significantly helps in the design of mobile communications. This paper presents the analysis results of radio propagation characteristics in outdoor environments for a new mobile wireless system at 781 MHz. To avoid the interference of Korean DTV broadcasting, we measure the channel characteristics in urban, suburban, and rural areas on Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, using a channel sounder and $4{\times}4$ antenna. The path loss (PL) measurement results differ from those of existing propagation models by more than 10 dB. To analyze the frequency characteristics for Korean propagation environments, we derive various propagation characteristic parameters: PL, delay spread, angular spread, and K-factor. Finally, we verify the validity of the measurement results by comparing them with the actual measurement results and 3D ray-tracing simulation results.

  • The ESD protection characteristic of chip varistors on a circuit board can not be analyzed by using a conventional circuit simulator due to its microwave characteristic. Thus, by employing Agilent's microwave circuit simulator ADS, we showed that the ESD Protection characteristic or chip varistors can be investigated. order to got more precise simulation results, a chip varistor model was extracted from the electrical characteristic of a TDK's chip varistor and the distributed circuit based pattern was designed as the ESD propagation path. The simulation results showed that the ESD protection characteristic of a chip varistors can be improved drastically by reducing the ESD propagation path.

흡음재의 특성임피던스와 전파상수의 새로운 결정방법 (A New Method for Measuring Characteristic Impedance and Propagation Constant of Sound-Absorbing Materials)

  • A new method is presented to determine two fundamental acoustic quantities of sound-absorbing materials such as characteristic impedance and propagation constant. In this study, the surface acoustic impedances of sound-absorbing materials are measured using the impedance tube and the anechoic chamber to determine the above acoustic quantities. The measured results are given for two typical sound-absorbing materials(glass wool and urethane foam) int the frequency range between 150 and 1, 600 Hz. The results are verified by other two known methods, which are Smith & Parrott method and Utsuno et al. method. The absorption coefficients calculated from the empirical models(Miki model for glass wool and Jung model for urethane foam) and two quantities by present method are in good agreement with the measured values.

  • This paper presents an efficient location estimation methodology for a partial discharge(PD) source in the power transformer. The methodology previously proposed is not suitable for locating a PD source because the ultrasonic signal with medium attenuated through the inner structure. In general, the propagation characteristic of ultrasonic signal with medium is different. Therefore, using this propagation characteristic, we can detect the location of PD source. In this paper, the proposal algorithm finds the PD source using three sensors attached to one side of the transformer without attenuation of the ultrasonic signal and applying the neural network based geometrical method. The proposed methodology demonstrates the effectiveness and validity on an experimental transformer.

Biot 파동전파 이론을 이용한 지반의 투수계수 산정 (Estimation of Hydraulic Conductivity of Soils Based on Biot's Theory of Wave Propagation)

  • 본 연구는 음향학적 기법을 이용하여 지반의 투수계수를 산정하는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 연구를 위하여 Biot의 특성 진동수(Characteristic Frequency) 와 지반의 투수계수의 연관성이 포화된 지반에서만 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있도록 음파의 감쇠 및 전파속도 특성을 포화된 시료와 건조된 시료에 대하여 측정/비교 하였다. 본 연구에서의 시험결과는 특성 진동수는 포화된 지반에서만 나타나며, 음파의 감쇠 특성으로 부터 얻은 특성 진동수와 전파속도 특성으로 부터 얻은 특성 진동수가 서로 매우 유사한 범위를 나타내었다. 한편 음파의 전파속도로 부터 얻은 결과가 감쇠 특성으로부터 얻은 결과보다 판독성이 좀 더 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 본 시험결과를 동일한 시료에 대한 정수위 투수시험결과와 비교했을때 서로가 합리적으로 상응하는 결과를 나타내었으며, 본 연구에서 사용된 음향학적 기법이 사질토 또는 실트질 사질토의 투수계수를 구할 수 있는 비파괴 시험으로 사용될 수 있는 가능성을 보여 주었다.
