  • This thesis investigated way of employment, education course of a training school of Programmable Logic Controller a Field. I inquired into a demand of an engineer and a necessary level of professional education. As a result, I have a purpose in what offer the information that cared for a beginning to work elevation and education training and boat development of a student more than. Faced a human power demand in an education demand and a field rehearsal student demand and analyzed it. The sample extraction used industrial classification, work of scale, Assignment sample extraction way (quota sampling). All data called at a silver phone and the investigated, The data parser analyzed the statistics that used Microsoft Excel.

  • 본 논문은 Sequence Diagram을 이용한 안전등급 PLC(Safety-Grade Programmable Logic Controller) 운영 체제의 인터페이스 설계명세를 기술한다. 원자력 발전소에 사용하기 위한 안전 소프트웨어(Safety Software)의 규제 기준인 Reg. Guide는 IEEE Std 1016, IEEE Std 1016.1 의 설계명세서 작성 표준에 따라 작성하도록 요구하며, 이러한 규제기준과 기 표준을 안전등급 PLC를 위한 운영체제 소프트웨어의 설계명 세서도 만족해야 한다. 특히 운영 체제와 외부 장치들 사이의 인터페이스를 위해 실시간 특성의 표현에 장점을 갖는 Sequence Diagram을 적용함으로써 운영체제의 인터페이스에 대한 정확성, 완전성, 그리고 일관성을 향상시킬 수 있었다.

  • Ladder Diagram(LD) is the most extensively used among Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) standard languages for the design of process control system with PLC. But LD has the disadvantages for data processing and maintenance. On the other hand, there is full support for describing sequences so that complete sequential behavior can be easily broken down using a concise graphical language called Sequential Function Chart(SFC). Inspite of those characteristics, SFC is not suitable for describing interlock logic. In this paper, we propose the method for implementing interlock logic by using conventional SFC compiler and verify the effectiveness by applying proposed scheme to the In-Line Spin Coater.Coater.

  • Recently, many enterprises are installing AMSs(Automated Manufacturing Systems) for their competitive advantages. As the level of automation increases, proper design and validation of control logic is a imperative task for the successful operation of AMSs. However, current discrete event simulation methods mainly focus on the performance evaluation. As a result, they lack the modeling capabilities for the detail logic of automated manufacturing system controller. Proposed in this paper is a method of validation of the controller logic for automated material handling system using an object-oriented design and simulation. Using this method, FA engineers can validate the controller logic easily in earlier stage of system design, so they can reduce the time for correcting the logic errors and enhance the productivity of control program development Generated simulation model can also be used as a communication tool among FA engineers who have different experiences and disciplines.

  • In this paper, A new cost-effective and accurate input noise rejection method for High Speed Counter module of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is proposed. By using combination of simple additional logic circuit and the Timer Pulse function of general purpose MPU, Cost-effectiveness and improvement of accuracy of filtering function can be achieved. This proposed method is verified by simulation. This proposed method is much useful for simple industrial controller based on simple microprocessor because of simplicity, accuracy and low cost.

  • In industries such as automobiles and semiconductors, a lot of components are produced using PLCs based on an automatic production system. Therefore, an educational platform is needed to provide training in the use of PLCs in the industrial sites. Conventional educational systems, in which PLCs are employed to control sensors and actuators, have been continuously developed. However, these systems present their circuits only in 2D on the screen, which makes it difficult to understand them during the learning process. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose an educational V-Factory system capable of providing PLC training using virtual reality. In addition, thousands of sensors and actuators can be controlled by the V-Factory system through the proposed virtual I/O driver. The motion of the automatic production system can be visualized using virtual reality.

  • This paper describes the automation of the surface grinder for a grinding wheel by application of programmable logic controller(PLC) with a position sensor, and a limit switch. The control system is designed to provide feeding a workpiece on the turn table and pressing it by the upper disk automatically. In this development the automation of checking the thickness of a grinding wheel is most important. In order to measure the relative displacement, the proximity sensors were employed and the sensitivities of the sensors were investicated and discussed the superiority. It has been shown by model experiment that the automation system of the surface grinder is performed satisfactory.

  • In many fields of automation, increasingly high demands are being placed on the availability and fault tolerance of programmable logic controller(PLC). Particularly in fields where a plant shutdown would be extremely expensive. In such cases, only redundant systems can offer the standard of availability required. The redundant configurations contain more then would normally be necessary for the relevant function. Fault tolerant systems will normally continue to operate even if one or more faults cause parts of the control system to fail.

  • We developed a wireless communication system for multiple instrumentation system. The developed system has a function of remote instrumentation and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) control. The system consists of CC(Control and Communication) protocol, wireless media access and physical media system. For multiple wireless communication, we propose a hub polling protocol based on master-slave control concept. To show the validity of the developed system, several experiments are illustrated.

  • 여러 종류의 제어기중에서 PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)가 가장 많이 사용된다. 그러나 PLC는 PLC의 기종에 따라서 입력 및 출력의 점수가 한정되어 있어 입력 또는 출력을 확장하고자 할 때는 유닛을 추가해야 한다. 이러한 단점을 극복하고자 출력점수의 확장 개수가 적을 경우에는 디코딩에 의한 방법을 사용하면 효율적으로 출력을 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 출력 유닛을 위한 디코딩 방법을 제안하고 이의 타당성을 확인한다.
