  • MARCH5 is a RING finger E3 ligase involved in mitochondrial integrity, cellular protein homeostasis, and the regulation of mitochondrial fusion and fission. To determine the function of MARCH5 during development, we assessed transcript expression in zebrafish embryos. We found that march5 transcripts were of maternal origin and evenly distributed at the 1-cell stage, except for the mid-blastula transition, with expression predominantly in the developing central nervous system at later stages of embryogenesis. Overexpression of march5 impaired convergent extension movement during gastrulation, resulting in reduced patterning along the dorsoventral axis and alterations in the ventral cell types. Overexpression and knockdown of march5 disrupted the organization of the developing telencephalon and diencephalon. Lastly, we found that the transcription of march5 was tightly regulated by the transcriptional regulators CHOP, C/EBPα, Staf, Znf143a, and Znf76. These results demonstrate the essential role of March5 in the development of zebrafish embryos.

  • The digital economy era is a knowledge-based society. Many organizations have been establishing KMS (Knowledge Management System), and there are no exceptions in military ones. In this study, we analyze the influencing factors for KMS utilization in a military organization, which is a specialized one. For this purpose, we investigate the current status of KMS of ROKAF (Republic Of Korea Air Force), derive problems and issues, and try to find out solutions for the KMS utilization in military organizations by analyzing a survey. At first, we derive three characteristics of the military organization that affect the knowledge sharing : formalization of organization, trust of organizational culture, and top management's will. And we verified that the users, who recognize that the top management has the will for the knowledge sharing, have high recognition for the knowledge sharing and utilize KMS more than others. This study shows that it is very important for the top management to participate in the knowledge sharing voluntarily especially in the military organization.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of satisfaction or dissatisfaction of a franchise organization training program on its achievements. For the training program variables, it takes a motivation, a role perception, and a customer directivity as independent variables, and satisfaction or dissatistaction as a parameter. Also, it regards operation capability improvements, satisfaction of the job, and a will for a long-time employment as a dependent variable, then it presents the results by using SPSS/PC+ statistics methods. The results shows that satisfaction of training programs affect the long-time employment a lot. Therefore, for a long-run growth of the franchise organization, it is important to carry out proper training programs. The introduction(part I) contains the subject proposal and the purpose of the study, and theological background(part II) shows the definition and quality of a franchise organization, and some expectations from training programs such as motivations, role perceptions, and customer directivity. Also, part III presents the study model, hypothesis, and analyzing methods. For the last, part IV shows the verification of statistic results, then part V presents the conclusion.

  • Purpose: While medical standard is rapidly improved, welfare of users and employees in hospitals is not treated correspondingly. Intercommunication of hospital users is thought to be very important for their welfare, and provision of conversation spaces within hospital environment needs to be expanded by architectural design. Space organization methods for the design of conversation space is to be embellished. Methods: Literature and hospital designs are analysed in order to develop the basis of argumentation for the hospital conversation space. 15 hospitals are reviewed and designed spaces for the intercommunication of the users are examined, Space organization efforts and design experiments are identified, and 6 organizational methods are proposed such as: 1) reducing territoriality 2) flowing space 3) categorizing and separating spaces 4) height variation 5) contact with outside and 6) Sun-lighted space. Results: 6 organization methods are confirmed in precedent hospital cases, and these proposed methods are applied in a new hospital design project to verify their usefulness. Implications: A hospital design project is presented based on these proposed methods of organization for the conversation space. Outcomes of this study can be applied for the formulation of human intercommunication spaces in other facilities.

Methods: The participants were 685 nurses working in the 8 general hospitals located in Seoul and Incheon. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires from April 1 to August 30, 2004. The data were analyzed using SAS program for descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The most frequent identified personality type was ISTJ and the least identified personal types was ENFJ. In 4 preference patterns, Extroversion, Sensing, Thinking and Judgement were identified a dominant index in each categories. The mean score of learning organization was 3.47 and the mental model was got the highest score. The EI index had a significant positive correlation with personal mastery. However the TF index had a negative correlation with personal mastery, systems thinking, and mental models, and also the JP index had a negative correlation with 5 learning organization sub categories. Conclusion: With these results, it was identified that the preference patterns on MBTI had the significant correlation with learning organization. So these results will be used to develop the more effective strategies to increase learning organization based on nurse's personality types.

The conclusions are as follows The 40.5 percent of schools should arrange nurse teachers by regulation 38, relative to the application of the Law of Education. But, in reality, teachers who have nothing to do with nursing, hold school health as an additional job. And it is very difficult to expect the qualititive health management of school faculty and students. In the 85.6 percent of schools, there is no organization for school health. And also, persons in charge of pracitcal affairs perform the school health activity without any knowledge about annual school health nursing budget. In the school health nursing activity of teacheres holding additional school health, operating of school, health organization and clinic management are the most difficult to get the cooperation from the persons relate to school and communities. There are a lot of problems in performing the school health nursing activity without any disposition of school health teachers, therefore, it is necessary to supplement school health teachers who had a professional training in order to make efficient the school health nursing management for children who are about to attend a school.

  • Out-door learning activity in environmental education has been emphasized as an effective method in environmental education since the aims of environmental education emphasize students'value, attitude, actions as well as knowledge. In order to implement successfully out-door learning activity in environmental education classrooms, teachers'perceptions to environmental problems and experiences at fields are essential. An environmental education network among the metropolitan city and provincial office of education, nongovernmental organization of environmental movement and education and university was established and a teachers'in-service training program of out-door learning centered environmental education was implemented. The program was developed in order to 1) connect environmental education with the regional environmental situations, 2) provide teachers with opportunities to participate in an out-door learning program, and 3) train teachers to be environmental education leaders of out-door learning. For evaluation of the program, responses of participants to questionnaire were analyzed. Most of teachers responded that their perception of environment was changed positively after the participation in the program. This study suggested that a future planning of a teachers'in-service training program of out-door learning centered environmental education should be developed in considerations of arranging enough hours for out-door learning at regional environmental sites, applying performance assessment, providing teachers with multiple opportunities with programs in different levels including enriched programs, and establishing an environmental education network among nongovernmental organization of environment movement and education, university, and local offices and department of education.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the status and limitations of the activation plan as a result of the change in urban regeneration paradigm. In particular, the change in housing life was considered following the guidelines of the New Deal project. Specifically, the three types - General Neighborhood, Housing Support, and DongneSaligi - were analyzed from the perspective of organization, space and program. In addition, the master plan and unit project, the organization and progress, and the budget plan were reviewed. As a result, the New Deal project for urban regeneration is importance on economic regeneration, which, unlike the integrated and continuous guide proposed by the government, could limit the individual progress of transitional organizations, 2-dimensional planing and various programs. Thus, first, in order to supplement the organization's verticality and inefficiency in progress, the annual business assessment should be discouraged and the permit and progress of the project should be determined at the local government level. Second, integrated and multidimensional planning is necessary to produce synergy effects in the physical environment. Finally, the link between program unit projects and the economic effects can be considered.
