패션일러스트레이션의 효율적인 교육방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Teaching Methods of Fashion Illustration)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest effective teaching method of fashion illustration based on the results of examing the use of fashion illustration required by fashion designers and the ways of teaching used by professors teaching fashion illustration. The methods of this research were based on questionnaires. Questionnaire I was responded by 73 fashion designers working for fashion industry. Questionnaire II was answered by 52 professors teaching fashion illustration in colleges and universities. The results were as follows 1. In the examination of fashion illustration used by fashion designers in fashion industry, the flat was found to be most frequently used for market research, design sketch, presentation and specification. The illustration of wearers' form for making trend maps. So the flat was found to be the method that is most used by fashion designers. As for the coloring materials, markers were most frequently used that are of easy use, and the texture was mostly expressed by attaching fabric swatches. Two or three body poses are used for each style of clothing. 2. The effective teaching methods of fashion illustration that fashion designers and professors teaching fashion illustration consider are first, to teach the flat more precisely, second, to increase use of markers as coloring material, third, to teach various types of model poses. And fourth, the texture needs to be a little bit less expressed by focusing only on the effects because fabric swatch is used.

패션 인턴십에 대한 교수 및 학생의 의식 연구 (A Study of Professor and College Students' Consciousness about a Fashion Internship)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the consciousness of the professors and college students about the fashion industry internship and to provide basis data which were to develop an internship program of the fashion company and university and to activate it. The whole country were classified as Seoul and Gyeonggi division, Gangwon division, Chungchung division, Yeongnam division, and Honam division for this study. As object of the questionnaire, the professors of 50 universities and 132 college students from every division were selected by stratified cluster sampling. The investigation tool for this study was composed of 95 items for two kinds of professor's and two kinds of college student's survey. The question results were analyzed by frequency analysis and variance analysis, t- test and f- test by spss 10.0. The contents of research result were as follows : First, it arranged the opinions of the college students and professors about the internship experience and execution reason, the internship application methods and execution contents, the type of preference company and worked company, the company education contents, internship evaluation and postmortem. It also proposed the roles of the academic world, fashion industry circles and government for the internship activation.

의과대학 학생인턴제의 운영 일례 연구 (The Student Internship Experience)

  • Recently, the student internship has been introduced in medical schools as a way of preparing students with training experience and medical knowledge by performing clinical practice. This study discusses student internship management and ways to operate the internship effectively. Catholic University of Daegu School of Medicine has set up a 6-week internship program for fourth-year undergraduate students. In most of the sections, students have shown their satisfaction, particularly when they have received appropriate feedback and attention from their professors. The students found that performing the evaluation and treatment of patients and individual chart recording were informative and helpful. However, they felt a lack of basic knowledge and clinical skills and had difficulty in understanding their roles and in time management. The success of an internship depends on the passion and interest that professors show for their students along with active support from the other faculty and thoughtful consideration of patients and all their friends and family members. In addition, with growing awareness of the need for the student internship, it is necessary that the school executive provide financial and administrative support to the faculty and staff, clarify roles and the work needed to perform the tasks, ensure substantiality of the individual program with professors or departments, provide enough preliminary courses, and monitor outcomes and reflection.

The Role of Professors' Intellectual Stimulation for Intellectual Growth among Chinese Students Who Study in Korea: The Moderating Effect of Growth Need Strength

  • Professor's role is one of various ways to improve students' academic achievement. Professors can be role models for students, motivate them to achieve higher performance, and have various influences on them. Therefore, depending on professor's role, students' attitudes and behaviors may be different, and their academic achievements may also be different. In this regard, this research focused on the intellectual growth that can be regarded as Chinese students' academic achievement. Thus, the importance of professor's intellectual stimulation behavior was emphasized and it was clarified as a way to improve the intellectual growth. Furthermore, students with a higher level of growth need strength, they are more likely to have higher intellectual growth because they put a premium on their self-growth. In order to increase the influence of professor's intellectual stimulation, we focused on the student's growth need strength. Thus, this research examined the moderating effect of growth need strength between intellectual stimulation and intellectual growth. The results showed that intellectual stimulation improved intellectual growth. In addition, growth need strength positively moderated the relationship between intellectual stimulation and intellectual growth. Therefore, it suggested the implications that professors should behave appropriate behavior according to students' personal characteristics.

FISP를 통한 대학도서관 정보서비스 질적 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Qualitative Improvement in the Information Services of University Libraries Through FISP)

  • 본 연구는 서울시 소재 23개 대학 교수 155명을 대상으로 질문조사를 시행하였다. 질문조사를 통해 FISP에 대한 인식과 이용 및 실행 현황, FISP 이용 만족도 및 견해 등 세 가지 측면으로 분석하였다. 교수들은 연구논문 작성을 위하여 가장 많이 이용하고 있으며, FISP 이용자는 학술논문 작성을 위하여 가장 많이 이용했고, FISP 이용자, 미 이용자 모두 FISP 실행에 대해서는 매우 찬성하였으며, 이용에 대한 의사 또한 매우 긍정적으로 나타났다. FISP 를 이용한 교수는 만족도가 매우 높았고, 이용하지 않은 나머지 교수는 FISP에 큰 기대를 거는 것으로 조사되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 교수와 학생들에게 '신규 IS 실무자들이 그들의 직무를 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서 각 IS 지식과 소프트웨어/IT 전문 기술을 얼마나 필요로 할 것인가'에 대해 설문 조사를 시행하고, 그 결과를 IS 지식과 소프트웨어/IT 전문 기술의 필요성에 대한 IS 실무자들과 IS 실무자 채용 담당자들의 인식과 비교하였다. 분석 결과는 학생과 교수는 매우 유사한, 그리고 다른 집단과는 뚜렷이 구별되는 인식을 공유하고 있다는 것을 보여 준다. 분석 결과는 또한 두 집단 모두 여러 유형의 지식과 기술 간의 중요도의 차이를 뚜렷이 인식하고 있지 못하며, 과거의 MIS 환경에서, 시스템 운영과 소규모의 개발 및 보수유지 업무를 주로 하던 전산요원에 가까운 인식을 갖고 있다는 것을 보여준다. 분석 결과는 이러한 점이 최근의 전문화된 대규모 프로젝트 환경 하에서 작업할 수 있는 소프트웨어 개발 전문가의 육성과 한국 소프트웨어 산업의 발전을 저해하는 가장 중요한 요인 중의 하나라는 것을 시사한다.

의학교육의 변화 관리 (Brining a Change in Medical Education)

  • Every medical school aims to provide better education, and it sometimes requires changing the current education system. However, an attempt for a change may not always be successful. In many cases, it is so not because an intended change was not properly directed but because conflicts in the process of adopting the change were not properly handled. This paper suggests seven points for how to successfully bring a change in medical education. First, the medical education should not simply focus on the pass rate of the national medical examination but also on the cultivation of creative leaders. Second, the faculty of medical school should be creative, self-motivated, and passionate. Third, people in charge of an intended change should have a good understanding of complicated dynamics between the dean's office, medical education experts, professors, and students. Fourth, people who are leading the change should also grasp the possibility that a well-intended change might not be well-received by professors, students, and dean due to their tendency to be complacent with the current system. Fifth, a successful introduction of a change requires good teamwork of a thinker, an actor, and a coordinator. Sixth, a change takes time as it takes place through a step-by-step process. Seventh, an attempt for a change accompanies a negotiation with professors with different thoughts and views regarding education, and people who want a change need to be flexible in that negotiation. In addition to these seven points, people who are responsible for a change should be consistent and consider the renown of the school.

K대학 교수들의 대학에 대한 인식이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of K-university Professors' Perception of University on Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 K대학 교수들의 대학에 대한 인식이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 충남소재 K대학 교수 81명을 대상으로 직무만족도와 대학에 대한 인식(교육과정, 강의, 연구지원, 연구제도, 학부(전공), 조직문화, 인사제도, 복지제도)에 관한 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 검증 결과 각 변인들은 정적으로 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 강의에 대한 인식, 연구지원에 대한 인식, 연구제도에 대한 인식 그리고 인사제도에 대한 인식은 직무만족도에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 도출된 결과를 토대로 직무만족도를 고취시키는데 도움이 되는 정책방안을 제안하였다.

A Study on the Relationship Between Teaching Style and Teaching Experiences of Professors in Higher Institutions

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the teaching styles of professors who teach adult students in selected higher institutions. It also identified whether professors' teaching styles were teacher-centered or learner-centered and examined the relationship between instructors' teaching styles and such instructor demographic variables as gender, years of teaching experience, and taught level of courses. This study used The Principles of Adult Learning Scale(PALS) (Conti,1983) to measure instructional preferences. Demographic characteristics were collected through a personal data inventory. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) tests were used to analyze the data. The data were examined for significance at the .05 level of confidence by means of analysis of variance. The dependent variables in this study were teaching styles of full-time professor, as represented by the seven subscores from the standardized instrument on the PALS. The seven subscores were: (1) learner-centered activities, (2) personalizing instruction, (3) relating to experience, (4) assessing student needs, (5) climate building, (6) participation in the learning process, and (7) flexibility for personal development. The study established that there was a significant difference in mean scores on the PALS between participants when examined by the number of years of teaching experiences.

우수한 임상병리사 양성을 위한 교육제도 및 국가면허시험제도에 대한 설문조사 분석 (Survey on the Education System and National Licensing Examination for Fostering Competent Medical Technologists)

  • 본 연구는 대학 교육제도와 국가면허시험 제도에 대한 교수와 병원실무자들의 의견을 조사하여 분석함으로써 우수한 임상병리사 양성을 위한 정책방향을 결정하는데 목표로 하고 있다. 2016년 8월에 온라인 설문지가 255명의 대학교수들과 4,000명의 병원실무자들에게 배포되었다. 회수율은 교수들은 59명(23%), 병원실무자들은 1,099명(27.7%)이 응답하였다. 결과는 기술통계분석과 비교분석을 통해 처리하였다. 대학 교육제도에서는 교수들과 병원실무자들 모두 대학 및 임상실습 교육의 질적 향상과 교육의 표준화가 필요하다고 조사되었다. 국가면허시험제도에서는 교수들과 병원실무자들 모두 특히 실기시험의 개편이 필요하다고 조사되었고, 면허시험제도도 개선이 필요하다고 조사되었다. 위의 결과들은 교수들과 병원실무자들은 우수한 임상병리사 양성을 위해서는 대학 및 임상교육의 질적 향상과 국가면허시험제도의 개선이 필요하다고 생각하고 있음을 보여준다.
