  • 최근 $\ulcorner$생산시스템(production systems, manufacturing systems)$\lrcorner$이라는 용어가 널리 쓰여지게 되었다. 이를 표제로 내건 단행본도 다수 출판되고 있다. 이 말의 뜻은 경우에 따라서는 단순히 물건을 생산하는 공장을 가르키기도 하고, 또는 생산관리의 의미로 쓰이기도 하며, 때로는 컴퓨 터에 의한 설계.생산(CAD/CAM)이라든가 새로운 의미의 유연한 자동생산(flexible automation)을 의미할 때도 있어서 그 해석은 여러 가지로 나뉘어진다. 본고에서는 생산시스템에 관하여 기본 적인 개념과 구조, 내용 등을 해설한 것이다.

  • 공장 자동화 시스템이 증가됨에 따라 인건비 감소와 생산량 증가, 효율적인 작업 운영, 그리고 고도의 정밀 작업과 인재의 감소 등 여러 가지 이점이 있지만, 자동화 시스템의 문제로 생산 작업이 중단될 경우에 공장의 생산에 미치는 영향 또한 막대하다. 본 논문에서는 공장 자동화 시스템을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 사전에 시스템 장애를 모니터링 할 수 있는 장애 검출 방안에 대하여 제시하고, 이에 따른 효과를 제시하였다. 또한 제시된 방법은 시스템 내 각종 서버의 문제를 검출할 수 있고, 관리자는 모니터링 한 내용을 바탕으로 장애를 조치하는데 있어서 상당한 효과를 볼 수 있었으며, 이것이 생산량 증가로 이어지는 성과를 거둘 수 있다.

  • Adaptive robust control scheme is introduced for flexible joint manipulator with nonlinearities and uncertainties. The system does not satisfy the matching condition due to insufficient actuators for each node. The control only relies on the assumption that the bound of uncertainty exists. Thus, the bounded value does not need to be known a prior. The control utilizes the update law by estimating the bound of the uncertainties. The control scheme uses the backstepping method and constructs a state transformation. Also, stability analysis is done for both transformed system and original system.

  • The feasibility of generating controlled surface topographies in single-point conventional turning operations is investigated. First a mathematical model of the surface generation process was developed. Second in order to control the texture of the machined surface a micro-positioning stage and the associated command generation software were designed and built. Experimental examples have shown that surface texture can be precisely controlled and is in good agreement with the theoretical predictions.

  • In Factory Automation environments such as FMS, the formation of machine-part based on GT should be considered. The purpose of this study is to develop a economic heuristic algorithm which considers various elements such as unit processing time, subcontract cost, and functional operation cost, machine processing capacity etc. When this proposed approach is applied to the real situation expected benefits are as follows: the reduction of production lead time work in process, labor force, tooling, rework and scrap, setup time, order time delivery, and paper work, etc.
