컨조인트 분석을 이용한 게임시장의 신제품 개발 전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on the New-Product Development Strategy for the Game Market using Conjoint Analysis)

  • 최근 들어 게임 사용자들의 욕구가 점점 다양해지고 있지만, 국내 게임제작사들의 신상품개발은 여전히 제작자 관점에서 행해지고 있다. 게임제작사들의 이와 같은 제작자 중심의 상품개발은 거시적으로 게임문화의 다양성을 저해할 뿐 아니라, 게임제작사 자신도 과다경쟁으로 건전한 수익기반을 잃게 될 위험이 크다. 이러한 차원에서 본 연구의 방향을 게임제작사들이 게임사용자 관점에서 사용자들의 욕구를 게임제작에 과학적으로 반영할 수 있는 컨조인트 분석을 소개하는데 중점을 두었다. 컨조인트분석을 직접 한국의 게임사용자들에게 적용하여, 컨조인트 분석을 통해 어떻게 사용자들이 선호하는 게임을 찾아낼 수 있는 가를 보여주었다. 컨조인트 분석결과 한국의 게임 사용자들은 시뮬레이션 게임, RPG 게임, 아케이드 게임의 경우 "다양성 측면"을 가장 중요시하는 것으로 나타났으며, 온라인 게임인 경우 "시나리오"를 가장 중요시하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 "조작의 간편성"등 사용의 편리성에 대한 욕구도 강한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 디자인경영 개념을 도입하여 플라스틱 소재를 중심으로 휴대용 전자기기 소재에 나타난 칼라 트렌드를 우리나라와 일본지역 실지조사를 통해서 칼라 트렌드의 현황및 예측하는데 있다. 경영의 개념을 디자인에 결합, 도입시킴으로서 우리나라 기업들이 보다 더 합리적이고 체계적인 디자인 프로세스 관리에 대한 사고의 전환을 시도하였고, 또한 디자인 지식공유시스템을 통한 중소기업, 가전업체, 전문기관 및 관련단체와의 지식 공유화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 플라스틱 소재에 나타난 칼라 트렌드 조사 결과, Cybertic, Purity 및 Colorful 경향 등 3가지 경향을 보여주고 있으며, 감성마케팅 전략으로서의 칼라 및 표면처리 추진방향은 고급화, 다양화, 그리고 차별화 등에 초점을 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 칼라 트렌드 DB 구축방안을 제시하였다.

EXTOPSIS 모형을 이용한 다중특성치의 파라미터설계 (The Parameter Design of Multiple Characteristics Using EXTOPSIS Model)

  • Taguchi's parameter design is to determine optimal settings of design parameters of a product or a process such that the characteristics of a product exhibit small variabilities around their target values. His analysis of the problem has focused only on a single characteristic or response, but the quality of most products is seldom defined by a characteristic, and is rather the composite of a great number of characteristics which are often interrelated and nearly always measured in a variety of units. The critical problem in dealing with multiple characteristics is how to compromise the conflicts among the selected levels of the design parameters for each individual characteristic. In this paper, the EXTOPSIS Model using SN ratio which can be optimized by univariate technique is proposed and a parameter design procedure to achieve the optimal compromise among several different response variables is developed. Two existing case studies are solved by the proposed method and the results are compared with ones by the sum of SN ratios, the expected weighted loss, and the desirability function.

A Prototyping Tool of Free-Coding-Type Microcontroller Board for Design Education

  • As the scope of social expectations and roles in the design field has expanded, the demand for education to cope with changes in the technology environment is increasing in design education. In response to this trend, microcontroller board-type design-prototyping tools have also been introduced into design education, and much educational content is being developed. However, there is the perception that students who are majoring in design without engineering knowledge are still barred from entry. A variety of educational content and tools have been developed to solve these difficulties, although there are several limitations to their practical application. Especially, in the design education courses in universities, the functional expectation level for prototyping is high, but most of the content developed for solving the difficulties has been developed for the lower education levels, and it could be said that a great deal of learning is necessary to solve the problem. In this study, students were asked about microcontroller board utilization and their satisfaction with their design through questionnaires and with the developed microcontroller board development direction via Focus Group Interviews. Based on this, we tested microcontroller boards that eliminate the coding process and which students can use to create and prototype their work as a suggestion to fulfil demand. After using the board, both the usability and improvement of the product were checked. Confirmation of the usefulness of the free- coding-type microcontroller was obtained through this study along with the possibility of responding to various educational demands by applying the application design related to this product.

  • It is a essential to minimize production of by-products for economically effective petrochemical process. In order to find key factor to achieve the effective process, 2-dimensional computational fluid dynamics considering a variety of physics such as convective and radiative heat transfer and thermal cracking of ethane are carried out. The reactor is modeled as an isothermal tube, whose length is 1.2 m and radius is 0.01 m, respectively. At first, the axial distribution of representative by-products in ethane thermal cracking are investigated in each inner wall temperature conditions. Then the comparison between concentration of propene($C_3H_6$) and ethane conversion is discussed with respect to inner wall temperature conditions too. Finally, both reaction rate and turbulent kinetic energy are used to identify the production mechanism of $C_3H_6$ under the intersection point in the plot for $C_3H_6$ molar concentration and ethane conversion.

스페셜 오더 상품과 모바일 SNS 홍보 전략이 브랜드 럭셔리 및 브랜드 관계에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Special Order Products and Mobile SNS Promotions on Perceived Brand Luxury and Brand Relationship)

  • With the increasing popularization of low-priced luxury markets, maintaining the genuine values of luxury has become crucial for luxury fashion brands to attract customers who want exclusivity and rarity. The world-leading luxury fashion houses have employed a variety of experiential marketing strategies like special order product strategies and mobile SNS promotion strategies, yet little research exists on there the strategies actually positively impact brand luxury images and customer attitudes towards the brand. This study empirically analyzed the effects of customer experience of special order products on perceived brand luxury and brand relationship. Furthermore, the study also tested relationships among perceived brand luxury, brand relationship, and brand loyalty. A survey was conducted with Korean female consumers who had purchase experiences of special order products from the brands. We analyzed the data of MTO-experienced respondents due to the lack of respondents who had experienced custom-made product services. The result indicates the significant effect of experience of MTO on brand relationship; however, we found only a partial support for the effect of MTO on brand luxury. Likewise, we found a partial support for the effect of mobile SNS promotion strategies on perceived brand luxury versus full support for the effect on brand relationship.

패션 기업의 일반적 특성에 따른 SCM 활동에 관한 연구 -어패럴업체의 공급 사슬을 중심으로- (A Study on the SCM Activities Depending on General Characteristics in Fashion Enterprise -Focused on the Supply Chain of Apparel Manufacturers-)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the difference of the SCM activities in the general characteristics of fashion enterprises and to inquire out the general characteristics affecting the introduction of SCM. The characteristics of apparel manufactures were also compared through the cluster analysis of the SCM activity levels of apparel manufactures. Through questionnaire survey, a total af 214 data - 123 from 64 apparel manufacturers, 46 from 40 fabric suppliers and 45 from 4 retailers - were used for analysis. The analysis on the relation between the SCM activity levels and the general characteristics of fashion enterprises showed that the SCM activities were affected by product assortment pattern and SCM introduction level for fabric suppliers, production method, product assortment pattern, business type and SCM introduction level for apparel manufacturers, and SCM introduction level for retailers. The cluster characteristics related to the SCM activity levels of apparel manufacturers showed that the clusters with higher level were tending to doing business internationally and trying to manufacture in a small lot in variety. The higher level clusters also revealed relatively low in the occupation ratio of fashion goods and high in quick response ratio compared to the lower level clusters.

Design and Implementation of a Sequential Polynomial Basis Multiplier over GF(2m)

  • Finite field arithmetic over GF($2^m$) is used in a variety of applications such as cryptography, coding theory, computer algebra. It is mainly used in various cryptographic algorithms such as the Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Twofish etc. The multiplication in a finite field is considered as highly complex and resource consuming operation in such applications. Many algorithms and architectures are proposed in the literature to obtain efficient multiplication operation in both hardware and software. In this paper, a modified serial multiplication algorithm with interleaved modular reduction is proposed, which allows for an efficient realization of a sequential polynomial basis multiplier. The proposed sequential multiplier supports multiplication of any two arbitrary finite field elements over GF($2^m$) for generic irreducible polynomials, therefore made versatile. Estimation of area and time complexities of the proposed sequential multiplier is performed and comparison with existing sequential multipliers is presented. The proposed sequential multiplier achieves 50% reduction in area-delay product over the best of existing sequential multipliers for m = 163, indicating an efficient design in terms of both area and delay. The Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) implementation results indicate a significantly less power-delay and area-delay products of the proposed sequential multiplier over existing multipliers.

자동차 커플러 부품(Al5052-H32)의 프로그래시브 드로잉 공정 시 두께 변화 고찰 (Consideration of thickness change during progressive drawing process of automotive coupler parts(AL5052-H32))

  • Progressive drawing processing is one of the manufacturing processes used to mass-produce a variety of products on the industrial site. In this study, the goal is to achieve a uniform product thickness of at least 1.3mm by reducing the wall thickness of the coupler parts used in automotive air conditioning systems to within 15% using A5052-H32 materials. The progressive die was designed using Blank's law of volume invariance. Due to the characteristics of the drawing process, the material thickness in the punch R part decreases and the thickness in the die R part increases. When designing the progressive die of the coupler part, an ironing method, a push back method, and a stand-alone die pad method were applied to each process to design a mold in consideration of the drawing rate and to artificially adjust the thickness change. The suitability of the method used in die design was investigated by measuring the thickness change of forming parts for each process. In the final part, it was confirmed that the thickness measurement values of the five regions of a radial line were implemented as 1.34-1.36 mm.

Temperature Analysis of Nozzle in a FDM Type 3D Printer Through Computer Simulation and Experiment

  • Additive manufacturing (AM), so called 3D Printing is a new manufacturing process and is getting attraction from many industries. There are several methods of 3D printing. Among them fused deposition modeling (FDM) type is most widely used by reason of cheap maintenance, easy operation and variety of polymeric materials. Articles manufactured by 3D printing have weak deposition strength compared with conventionally manufactured products. Deposition strength of FDM type 3D printed article is highly dependent of deposition temperature. Subsequently the nozzle temperature in the FDM type 3D printing is very important and it is controlled by heat source in the 3D printer. Nozzle is connected with heat block and barrel, and heat block contains heat source. Nozzle becomes hot through heat conduction from heat source. Nozzle temperature has been predicted for various thermal boundary conditions by computer simulation and compared with experimental measurement. Nozzle temperature highly depends upon thermal conductivities of heat block and nozzle. Simulation results are good agreement with experiment.
