VMD(Visual Merchandizing) Strategy Analysis for Revitalizing Web Fashion Star shop

  • This study aims at providing comprehensive data which would be helpful to establish a web shopping mall by analyzing the structure of web fashion star shops which have recently emerged as a result of advances in digital technology and communication. For the purpose of analyzing VMD strategy used in web fashion star shop, we adopt both of the documental and empirical research methods, based on which we examine the concept of E-commerce and current business situation of web fashion star shop industry, and then analyze the main page, product category page and product detail page in a star shop featured by a male pop star within a web shopping mall. According to our analysis of the structure of web fashion star shop, in case of open market, a banner with star's image on it leads to star shop when people click on the link of the banner, and in case of independent mall, they show each star's unique style in the main page. Product category page is linked to each product detail page which presents items of various fashion coordinates, satisfying needs of consumers to follow star's trendy fashion sense.

조립라인의 밸런싱을 고려한 자동 조립 순서 추론 (Generation of Robotic Assembly Aequences with Consideration of Line Balancing Using a Simulated Annealing)

  • In designing assembly lines, it is required that the lines should not only meet the demand of the product, but also minimize the assembly cost associated with the line. For such a purpose, numerous research efforts have been made on either the assembly sequence generation or the assembly line balancing. However, the works dealing with both the research problems have been seldom reported in literature. When assembly sequences are generated without consideration of line balancing, additional cost may be incurred, because the sequences may not guarantee the minimum number of workstations. Therefore, it is essential to consider line balancing in the generation of cost-effective assembly sequences. To incorporate the two research problems into one, this paper treats a single-model and deterministic (SMD) assembly line balancing (ALB) problem, and proposes a new method for generating line-balanced robotic assembly sequences by using a simulated annealing. In this method, an energy function is derived in consideration of the satisfaction of assembly constraints, and the minimization of both the assembly cost and the idle time. Then, the energy function is iteratively minimized and occasionally perturbed by the simulated annealing. When no further change in energy occurs, an assembly sequence with consideration of line balancing is finally found. To show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, a case study for an electrical relay is presented.

NC Program Generation Using Off-Line Teaching of Deburring Path

  • Die-casting burr to casting process is removed by post-process for assembly and quality control of product. Though robot has been widely used for deburring job before. CNC exclusive machine is currently developed for high power, high speed machining and quick tool change. Deburring tool path with complex 3D curve type is defined to make out deburring NC program. But there is no efficient method to define it currently used methods with teaching probe on machine. In this study the efficient method to make out deburring NC program is developed. 5-axis digitizing machine is used to receive data of deburring path. And the post process for NC program generation is developed in consideration of the machining conditions. The developed system is not dependent on the skill of operator and has the advantage to maintain the flexibility of job to modify NC program due to the wear of tool and aging of the die casting.

Development of a Control System for Automated Line Heating Process by an Object-Oriented Approach

  • A control system for an automated line heating process is developed by use of object-oriented methodology. The main function of the control system is to provide real-time heating information to technicians or automated machines. The information includes heating location, torch speed, heating order, and others. The system development is achieved by following the five steps in the object-oriented procedure. First, requirements are specified and corresponding objects are determined. Then, the analysis, design, and implementation of the proposed system are sequentially carried out. The system consists of six subsystems, or modules. These are (1) the inference module with an artificial neural network algorithm, (2) the analysis module with the Finite Element Method and kinematics analysis, (3) the data access module to store and retrieve the forming information, (4) the communication module, (5) the display module, and (6) the measurement module. The system is useful, irrespective of the heating sources, i.e. flame/gas, laser, or high frequency induction heating. A newly developed automated line heating machine is connected to the proposed system. Experiments and discussions follow.

Variable Sampling Inspection with Screening When Lot Quality Follows Mixed Normal Distribution

  • The variable sampling inspection scheme with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of maximum expected surplus loss after inspection has been proposed. In this inspection scheme, it has been assumed that a product lot consists of products manufactured through a single production line and lot quality characteristics follow a normal distribution. In the previous literature with respect to inspection schemes, it has been commonly assumed that lot quality characteristics obey a single normal distribution under the condition that all products are manufactured in the same condition. On the other hand, the production line is designed in order that the workload of respective processes becomes uniform from the viewpoint of line balancing. One of the solutions for the bottleneck process is to arrange the workshops in parallel. The lot quality characteristics from such a production line with the process consisting of some parallel workshops might not follow strictly the single normal distribution. Therefore, we expand an applicable scope of the above mentioned variable sampling inspection scheme with screening in this article. Concretely, we consider the variable sampling inspection with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of average outgoing surplus quality loss in the production lots when the lot quality follows the mixed normal distribution.

  • 본 연구는 부식을 방지하기 위해서는 metal line식각 후 염소 잔유물 과 plasma charge up을 식각 조건, PR strip조건 및 후속 세정 조건을 최적화함으로써 제거해야 한다고 제안 하였다. Metal line에 다량 분포하는 charge up은 후속 세정의 적정 PH와 만났을 때, 하부 tungsten plug의 부식을 유발 하게 된다. Metal line식각 및 PR strip후 세정에 있어 약액의 종류는 부식에 결정적인 영향을 미친다. Galvanic corrosion을 최소화하기 위한 적정 PH, metal attack을 최소화 할 수 있는 chemistry선택, 높은 식각 부산물 제거 효율의 약액, 최적의 $H_2O$처리 조건 등이 metal부식방지에 있어 결정적인 요소임을 확인하였다.

  • 현대의 소프트웨어공학 관련 연구 중에서, 산업계가 궁극적으로 추구하는 수준의 생산성을 제공할 수 있는 기술은 아마도 프로덕트라인 공학이 될 것이다. 지금까지의 소프트웨어공학 기술로는 소프트웨어 개발 분야에 프로덕트라인 기법을 실질적이고 실용적으로 적용하기에는 아직 충분히 성숙하지 못한 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 저자가 산업체에서 접한 과거 3년 동안의 PDA 스마트폰 개발 경험을 바탕으로 실용적 수준의 프로덕트라인 기법을 Model-Driven Architecture(MDA) 접근 방법을 통해 제안한다. 이동 단말 시스템의 경우 단말기 제조사, 목적 사용자 층, 이동 단말 사업자 등에 따라 다양한 형태의 소프트웨어가 존재한다. 특히, 최근에는 단말기 사용자가 직접 느낄 수 있는 지원 기능 구성 및 인터페이스 형식은 매우 다양한 형태가 존재하며, 같은 제조사에 시리즈 제품으로 개발하더라도 이 부분에 대한 변이성이 매우 큰 특징이 있다. 하지만, 전형적인 폰 관련 기능 모듈 즉, 음성호 및 화상전화 기능, 메시지, 주소록, 데이터통신, 카메라 및 멀티미디어 기능, 웹 브라우징 과 같은 큰 기능 묶음에 대한 피처(Feature)들은 자체의 다양한 기능적 요구사항과 함께 피처 간 상호 연관성을 크고 다양한 형태로 구성될 수 있는 특성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 단말기에서 구현해야 하는 다양한 형태의 사용자 소프트웨어의 요구사항에 대해 사용 시나리오 상에서 구분 가능하고 의미 있는 장면의 연속 관계로 정의하여 추후 설계, 구현, 시험 단계에서도 소프트웨어 아키텍쳐 역할을 할 수 있는 개발 기법을 제안한다. 따라서, 요구분석 단계에서도 사용자 인터페이스 관점에서 전반적인 소프트웨어 아키텍쳐에 대해 검증할 수 있게 될 뿐만 아니라 소프트웨어 개발 주기 전 과정에서 그 구조를 사용자 인터페이스 관점에서 유지, 관리 할 수 있는 핵심적인 방법을 제공한다.

컨베이어 라인 변경시 U - 라인 설계의 효율적 방안 - K전자 사례를 중심으로 - (The Design of the U-Shaped Assembly Line to Replace Conveyor Systems)

  • Generally, the assembly system relied on conveyor lines is efficient for mass production. But it is not efficient when the product types are often varying and their lot sizes are small. Especially, it is much inefficient for the assembly lines for the electronic products whose types are varying very often. This paper suggests the design of U-shaped assembly lines to replace the existing conveyor systems. The assembly line for the mini-cassette production is dealt with as a case study. The proposed procedure was successfully applied for the design of U-shaped lines. The developed method resulted in the improvement of the productivity such as the decrease of the man power and the cycle time, and the increase of the line utility.

혼류 생산시스템의 주기적 생산순서 (Cyclic Sequencing in Mixed-Model Production Systems)

  • In mixed-model production systems, various models of products are produced alternately on the same production line. When the total number of models or the total production quantity is large, it takes a long time to determine the production sequence of the products. In this paper, we will show that in case of product rate variation problem (PRV) problem with nonidentical symmetric convex discrepancy function, an optimum sequence can be obtained by repeating an optimum sequence in a reduced subproblem.
