인지적 몰입이 개인의 기술 수용에 미치는 영향: MP3 플레이어에 대한 실증 연구 (The Effect of Cognitive Absorption on the Individual Intention of Technology Acceptance: An Empirical Study on the MP3 Player)

  • Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been widely used to predict user's behavior to accept the technology. Prior researches have been mainly focused on innovation constructs such as perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. However, very little research has been conducted to understand individual mental beliefs in technology acceptance and imitation influence. This study integrates Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Flow Theory (FT) and Diffusion of Innovation Theory (DIT). This paper indicates that imitation context, cognitive absorption (CA) based Flow theory and innovation context are the three important factors influencing user acceptance of information technologies. The proposed model has been tested among 232 users of MP3 players. Results showed that innovation context and cognitive absorption have positive influences on intention to use technology. Not all factors of the imitation context have direct effect on intention to use. However, we found that imitation context has positive influence on intention to use technology through cognitive absorption.

한국 섬유패션 기업과 재벌 발전 역사 고찰 - 기업생명주기이론에 근거하여 - (Review on the Development History of Korean Textile and Fashion Companies and Chaebols - Based on Corporate Life Cycle Theory -)

  • Korean textile and fashion companies have played a major role not only in developing the Korean economy since Korea's industrialization started in the early 1960s but also in providing opportunities to form and expand chaebols (conglomerates of family-owned businesses). This study reviewed and analyzed the historical development of chaebols, which started the fiber/textile/fashion business before the 1960s and maintained their chaebol status until 2010. The Samsung, Samyang, Kolon, Taekwang, Hyosung, LG, and SK groups were included in the study, and data were collected from diverse sources, including the publications and websites of the chaebol companies, newspapers, magazines, and research articles. The strategies of the companies at the corporate and group levels were examined based on the corporate lifecycle, which consists of existence, growth, maturity, rebirth, and decline stages. The results showed that all the analyzed companies actively engaged in product line expansion during the growth stage. Vertical integration, especially backward integration, was common during the growth stage. Some groups established new companies to manage additional product lines and integration, while others pursued growth strategies mainly at the corporate level. The rebirth stage occurred in only a few companies and groups. Some seemed to be going through the decline stage, and the rest of the groups exited the textile and fashion business.

제조물 책임법 시행에 따른 품질경영 정책 및 ISO 9000 시리즈의 수행 (Implementation of Quality Manageemtn Policy and ISO 9000 Series under Product Liability Law)

  • The primary objective of this research is to provide the basis of total quality management policies by reviewing previous studies which investigated effective ways to reduce product liability exposure. Specifically, the present study intends (1) to examine recent patterns and trends of product liability law in OECD countries, (2) to propose quality management policies for preventing product liability litigations, and (3) to guide the proper implementation process of ISO 9000 certification programs. The survey results show that the shift from a negligence law theory to strict liability is evident in most countries. The trend has led to make it easier for consumers to bring product liability lawsuits. Furthermore, the damage awards won by consumers have been drastically increasing. To minimize product liability exposure, manufactures should reflect comprehensive product safety concepts in establishing total quality management policies. Cooperative activities are also required between departments in companies to reach safe and satisfactory quality level. These quality management activities should be performed consistently during the total product life cycle. Failure to comply with the ISO 9000 certifications might be used as an evidence of negligence or as evidence of a design defect in court. Previous lawsuit cases, however, reveal that ISO 9001-9003 registration process alone is not sufficient in terms of product liability pervention perspectives. Therefore, manufactures should take into account ISO 9004 before implementing any other section of ISO 9000 standards.

패션 소상공인 제품 구매에 대한 탐색적 연구 -소비자 생애주기와 구매단계를 중심으로- (Exploratory Study on Purchasing Fashion Products from Small Business Owners -Focusing on the Consumer Life Cycle and Purchasing Stage-)

  • This study explored the process by which consumers purchase products from small fashion business owners via online and mobile channels. In addition, group types were classified given that the purchasing process depends on the consumers' life cycle. The consumer focus group interview (FGI) was conducted on 18 participants that were divided into six groups by age, work, and children. Results revealed that first, consumer journey comprised four stages. Factors influencing need recognition were "attention to information of social media influencer," "attention to information of affiliated groups," and "repeated advertising of SME products/brands." For information searching, "exploring purchase reviews," "environment for mobile shopping information exploration," and "continuous product tracking" were important factors. Purchasing and shopping stages were affected by "price-free, improvised purchase decision" and "convenient mobile payment system and point benefits." After the purchase, "active sharing and repeated purchase when satisfied" and "blocking relationships when dissatisfied" occurred. Second, six consumer groups based on the fashion life cycle are the "Platform lover," "Influencer follower," "Trust builder," "Novelty seeker," "Convenience seeker," and "New designer supporter." Ultimately, small business owners can develop the process of planning and selling fashion products more efficiently.

The Review on the Theory of Internationalization of Multinational Firms and SMEs

  • Purpose - to examine the theories related to the internationalization of multinational corporations as well as theories related to internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises. Research design, data, and methodology - traditional theories, e.g. eclectic paradigm and behavioral theory and product life cycle etc. were examined and recent advances theories - network theory, entrepreneurship - were also examined to outline the theory of internationalization of firm. Results - the main schools of international researches are divided into two; one is the economics school, the other is the behavioral school. The economics school has considered internationalization as a pattern of investment in foreign markets explained by rational economic analysis of internalization, ownership, and location advantages. Apart from the economics approach, a theory relevant to smaller firms highlights slow and incremental overseas market commitment. Recent research on the network perspective is fast emerging and it can be applied and well explained on the internationalization of smaller firms, focusing on firm behavior in the context of a network of interorganizational and inter-personal relationships Conclusions - Small medium-sized enterprises have been recently rising, however, there has still been little consolidation of literature in internationalization and most of the relevant theories have been still focusing on explaining the globalization of multinational corporations. Little studied on the internationalization in the context of smaller firms which are distinctly differentiated from larger firms including international new ventures, which the motivation to study strongly calls for more information and studied on small medium-sized enterprises.

점용접 표준시편에 대한 가속내구시험법의 적용 (Application of Accelerated Vibration Testing to Spot-welding Specimen)

  • It is advantage of accelerated vibration testing to compress service exposures to operating vibration into a reduced laboratory test by increasing the amplitude or frequency of the applied input excitations. This paper proposes an accelerated test method to estimate the high-cycle fatigue life under random excitation. The method consists of conducting a test with amplified input excitation and extrapolating linearly the lift in the accelerated condition into the real lift in field condition. The extrapolation is carried out applying the high-cycle irregular excitation fatigue theory including the rainflow counting, Miner’s damage accumulation rule, and Goodman’s mean stress correction. As a verification, those estimated lift is compared with that acquired by experiment f3r the simple case of spot welding specimen with good agreement. This testing procedure will provide an useful scheme that can reduce testing period associated with developing time schedule of new product.

동태적 혁신이론 기반의 기술 융합 의료서비스 공학모델 (A Technology Convergent Medical Service Engineering Model based on the Dynamic Innovation Theory)

  • Recently, innovative medical services are fast emerging, which include customized medical services based on bio-informatics, composition of cure and well-being exploiting ubiquitous technology, hospital supply chain management using RFID, and so forth. However, conventional approaches for new service development hardly give us systematic model to analyze and produce creative medical services. Because most of them are static and concentrate on microscopic tools or techniques. Thus, it is highly desirable to suggest an integrative framework to organize the whole transformation process from technology to medical service. The objective of this study is to propose a medical service engineering model based on the dynamic innovation theory. The proposed model contains objectives of service system, strategies of hospital, stages, activities required to deal with medical service life cycle, which incorporates the acquisition of new technology, transformation to the product, penetration into market, and adoption of consumers. In addition, the usefulness and applicability of the newly proposed model are provided using catholic medical center example.

퍼지 서비스 FMEA를 이용한 서비스 시스템 설계 (Service System Design Using Fuzzy Service FMEA)

  • FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis)is a widely used technique to assess or to improve reliability of product not only at early stage of design and development, but at the process and service phase during the product life cycle. In designing a service system, this study proposes a fuzzy service FMEA with the service blueprints as a tool which describes customer actions, onstage contact employees actions, backstage contact employees actions, support processes, and physical evidences, in order to analyse and inform service delivery system design. We fuzzified only two risk factors, occurrence and severity, to more effectively assess the potential failure modes in service. Proposed fuzzy risk grades are applied to Gaussian membership function, defuzzified into Fuzzy Inference System, and eventually identified the ranks on the potential fail points.

지역축제의 성장단계별분석과 관리전략 : 함평나비축제와 화천산천어축제를 중심으로 (Management Strategies and the Growth Stages Analysis of Local Festival : Cases of Hampyeong Butterfly Festival and Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival)

  • 본 연구는 국내에서 이미 성공적인 지역문화축제로 인정을 받은 두 개의 지역축제를 대상으로 시간의 경과에 따라 나타나는 특징들을 제품생명주기이론에 따라 구분하여 분석을 시도 하였다. 분석결과 두 축제 모두 축제의 도입기에는 축제의 핵심프로그램의 안착과 축제의 주제에 대한 인지도를 제고하는데 관심과 역량을 집중했으며, 성장기에는 인지도 향상에 따라 증가하는 수요를 유지하기 위하여 핵심프로그램들의 질적 향상, 새로운 프로그램의 개발과 보완, 방문객 편의와 안전에 대한 프로그램의 확장에 초점을 두었고 도입기에서의 인지도 제고에 대한 홍보 전략도 축제의 내용과 프로그램에 대한 홍보로 수정하였으며, 국내 뿐 아니라 외국에 대한 홍보 전략도 수립하였다. 마지막으로 성숙기에는 감소되거나 둔화되는 방문객수와 경제적 효과를 극복하기 위해 두 축제는 새로운 수요의 창출과 기존의 소비량이 늘어날 수 있도록 방문객의 편의, 안전을 위한 프로그램과 핵심프로그램의 개선과 보완을 통한 서비스질의 향상과 입장료 인하 또는 상품권의 제공과 같은 경제적 이익의 제공, 성장기에서 추진했던 외국홍보의 강화 그리고 소외계층의 참여확대를 통한 사회적 기여 이미지 제고 등의 전략적 변화를 보였다. 따라서 두 축제의 이러한 성장단계별 전략적 변화는 새로이 지역축제를 기획하거나 이미 개최중이지만 미온적 성장에 그치고 있는 지역축제들의 주체들에게 정책적 함의를 제시한다.

제품 디자인의 파급효과와 품질경쟁력의 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Effect of Product Design and a Primary factor of Qualify Competitiveness)

  • 본 연구의 분석목표는 제품 디자인의 결정요인을 추정하고 품질경쟁력, 제품 신뢰성, 고객충성에 대한 제품 디자인의 파급효과를 실증적으로 분석함으로써 디자인 경영이론에 유용한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 상기한 실증적 분석을 위하여, 한국 제조업 부문의 400개 표본기업에 대한 설문조사(2003년 8월${\sim}$10월)를 통하여 관련 측정변수들을 추출하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제품 디자인의 유의적 결정요인은 연구개발력 수준, 연구개발투자 수준, 혁신활동 수준(5S, TQM, 6Sigma 운동, QC 등)으로 추정되었다. 이 분석결과는 제품 디자인과 제품 개발을 동시적 엔지니어링(CE: concurrent engineering) 개념으로 파악하고 이들의 성과를 평가하기 위한 시스템관련 원리(system-related principle)와 행렬관련 원리(matrix-related principle)로써 서술한 Pawar and Driva(1999)를 실증적으로 뒷받침한다. 둘째, 제품 디자인의 파급효과는 제품 디자인${\rightarrow}$품질경쟁력${\rightarrow}$고객만족${\rightarrow}$고객충성의 인과관계로 나타나는 것으로 추정되었다. 즉, 제품 디자인은 고객만족을 직접적으로 유발하는 것이 아니라 품질경쟁력을 경유하여 간접적으로 고객만족을 유도한다는 것이다. 이 분석결과는 디자인 경영이 통합된 제품 품질의 중요한 결정인자라고 분석한 Flynn et al(1994), Ahire et al.(1996), Ahire and Dreyfus(2000) 등을 실증적으로 뒷받침한다. 일반적으로 제품 디자인의 접근방법으로써 3가지 즉 (1) 제품 개발자(엔지니어, 기술개발담당자, 품질관리팀)를 중심으로 하는 QFD(quality function development)의 접근방법, (2) 마케팅 담당자를 중심으로 하는 컨조인트 분석(conjoint analysis), (3) 상기의 2가지 접근방법의 상호보완적 및 동시적 결합 및 피드백의 주장(Pullman, Moore and Wardell, 2002)을 들 수 있다. 그러나 본 연구의 실증적 분석결과에는 품질경쟁력이 제품 디자인과 고객만족사이에 교량적 역할을 담당한다. 이 분석결과는 제품 디자인에 대한 품질경쟁력의 2가지 접근방법(QFD의 접근방법과 컨조인트 분석)의 조화를 이룰 수 있는 이론적 기초가 될 수 있다. 즉, 제품디자인의 결정요인 분석결과는 QFD의 접근방법에, 제품 디자인 파급효과 분석결과는 컨조인트 분석에 각각 보완적 기여를 할 수 있다. 이와 동시에, 실증적 분석결과는 Ettlie(1997)의 디자인 통합(DI) 이론에 대한 실증적 기반을 제공할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 성공적인 디자인 경영(DM)을 위해서는 최고 경영자의 지원뿐만 아니라 부처 간 의사소통의 장애요인을 제거하고 CFT(cross-functional team)를 운영함으로써 동시적 엔지니어링(CE) 및 제품 및 공정 디자인의 개발이 제품 개발의 속도를 가속화하고 디자인 품질을 높이며 시장 성공을 보증할 수 있도록 해야 한다.
