비축대칭 디프 드로잉 제품에 대한 공정설계 시스템의 적용 (Application of Process Planning System for Non-Axisymmetric Deep Drawing Products)

  • A computer-aided process planning system for rotationally symmetric deep drawing products has been developed. The application for non-axisymmetric components, however, has been reported yet. Therefore, this study investigates process sequence design in deep drawing process and constructs a computer-aided process planning system for non-axisymmetric motor frame products with elliptical shape. The system developed consists of three modules. The first one os a 3-dimensional modeling module to calculate surface area for non-axisymmetric products. The second one is a blank design module that creates an oval-shaped blank with the identical surface area. The third one is a process planning module based on production rules that play the best important roles in an expert system for manufacturing. The production rules are generated and upgraded by interviewing with field engineers. Especially, drawing coefficient, punch and die radii are considered as main design parameters. The constructed system for elliptical deep drawing products would be very useful to reduce lead time and improve accuracy for production.

  • In this paper, we consider confidence limits for steady state availability of a redundant structure with the function of switchover processing. The system considered in this paper consists of three units which are an active unit, a standby unit and a switchover device. A control module does not affect the performance of the system while the active unit is operating but causes the system failure if the active unit fails at the failure of the control module. The effect of failure of control module is included in our reliability model of the simple redundant structure. The availability of the system is obtained by using the state space method. An example is given to illustrate our results.

  • This paper considers and implementation of the memory system which provides simultaneous access to pq image points of block(p$\times$q), horizontal vector(1$\times$pq)and/vertical vector(pq$\times$1) in 2-dimension image array, where p and q are design parameters. This memory system consists of an address calculation circuit, address routing circuit, data routing circuit, module selection circuit and m memory modules where m>qp. The address calculation circuit computes pq addresses in parallel by using the difference of addresses among image points. Extra module assignment circuit is not used by improving module selection circuit with routhing circuit. By using Verilog-XL logic simulator, we verify the correctness of the memory system and estimate the performance. The implemented system provides simultaneous access to 16 image points and is 6 times faster than conventional memory system.

  • In the paper, we describe the design of a pipelined datapath synthesis system for DSP applications. Taking SFG (Signal Flow Graph) in schematic as inputs, the system generates pipelined datapaths automatically through scheduling and module allocation processes. For efficient hardware synthesis, scheduling and module allocation algorithms are proposed. The proposed scheduling algorithm is of iterative/constructive nature, where the measure of equi-distribution of operations to partitions is adopted as the objective function. Module allocation is performed to reduce the interconnection cost from the initial allocation. In the experiment, we compare the results with those of other systems and show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

  • In this study, pre-postprocessing toolbox is developed to perform elasto-plastic analyze of underground structures with transient ground water flow. This toolbox is composed of three modules. The first is the data input processor for the structural analysis. The preprocessing Is using GUI (Graphic User Interface), which is consist of dialog box, pull down, and short-cut icon, etc. The second is the structural analysis module. The analysis is based on the elasto-plastic finite element method involving additional options such as ground excavation effect, transient ground water flow, and rock bolts behavior. The last is the postprocessing module. The postprocessing is able to verify the result of the structural analysis by the graphical simulation which visualizes the element mesh, the node displacements, the element stress states, the stress contour, the ground water surface, and the rock bolt stresses. Since various options are considered separately in this toolbox, it is easy to modify the module of each processing, and to update other functional modules for the given analysis conditions.

  • This study aims to design and implement a learning evaluation system using .NET which is developed by Microsoft. .NET technology supports higher processing speed than ASP technology. The learning evaluation system is based on the web, consists of administrator module, questioner module and student module. The functions of the system, i.e., providing test questions, performing test, and evaluating result of test are achieving on the web in real time. Even when many users use this system, the system is stable and has a speed response time.

  • This paper presents a design experience of a control language for coordination of a multi-robot system. To effectively program job commands, a Petrinet-type Graphical Robot Language(PGRL) is proposed, where some functions, such as concurrency and synchronization, for coordination among tasks can be easily programmed.In our system, the proposed task commands of PGRL are implemented by employing formal model languages, which are composed of three modules, sensory, data handling, and action module. It is expected that by using our proposed PGRL and formal languages, one can easily describe a job or task, and hence can effectively operate a complex real-time and concurrent system. The control system is being implemented by using VME-based 32-bit microprocessor boards for supervisory, each module controller(arm, hand, leg, sensor data processing module) and a real time multi-tasking operating system(VxWorks).   • A brake system in automobile is one of the important parts that directly affect the safety of passengers. Particularly, disk brake module is applied to almost all kinds of automobile brake system due to its remarkable braking power and braking distance. In the disk brake module of an automobile, the bolt for tire wheel is assembled to the disk brake hub by interference fit(bolt pressing process). The process induces small deformation whose range is within tens of ${\mu}m$ and this deformation may cause the runout badness of the whole disk brake module, and even braking problems such as judder or squeal phenomena which makes the loss of braking efficiency. In this study, bolt pressing fit into hub was simulated by $ANSYS^{TM}$, a commercial structure analysis program. Also, the aspect and the cause of hub displacement were analyzed and the solution for decreasing runout of hub was proposed.

  • Laser micromachining has increasingly been adopted in various advanced industries where the high-precision machining of large-area, high-density and multi-layered components is in a strong demand. To effectively meet the requirements, the laser micromachining process must be carefully monitored. In order to facilitate the development of a new laser micromachining process and/or a new system, we have fabricated a UV laser micromachining platform that is equipped with optical modules for monitoring the process online. They include a laser power stabilizing module, a module for laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, and an auto-focusing module.

  • 소프트웨어의 결함 경향 모듈 예측을 위해 SVM 분류기가 우수한 성능을 보인다는 연구들이 많지만, SVM에서 필요한 파라미터 선정 시 매 커널마다 다르게 선정해야 하고, 파라미터의 변경에 따른 결과예측을 위해 알고리즘을 반복적으로 수행해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 SVM의 파라미터 선정 시 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 스스로 찾게 하는 GA-SVM 모델을 구현하였다. 그리고 분류 성능 비교를 위해 신경망의 역전파알고리즘을 이용하여 분류했던 기존 논문과 비교 분석한 결과, GA-SVM 모델의 성능이 더 우수함을 확인하였다.
