발사체 추적자료 후처리를 통한 비행궤적 생성 (Flight trajectory generation through post-processing of launch vehicle tracking data)

  • 나로우주센터의 발사통제시스템은 우주발사체의 비행궤적과 상태정보를 감시하기 위하여 지상추적시스템(추적레이더 2대, 원격자료수신장비 4대, 광학추적장비 1대)으로부터 정보를 받아 처리한다. 각 추적장치는 주로 다중경로나 클러터, 전파굴절에 의해 자체 오차를 나타내고 있어 전송된 정보들 중 하나만을 이용해서는 우주발사체의 실제 궤적을 판별할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 취득된 추적자료의 후처리를 통해 우주발사체 비행궤적을 생성해내는 방법을 제시한다. 본 후처리 알고리즘은 크게 대기의 전파굴절에 따른 오차를 보정하는 부분과 다중센서 정보를 융합하는 부분으로 나뉘며, 효과적인 센서 융합을 위해 등가속 운동모델에 기반한 분산식 칼만필터를 구성하였다. 실측 자료의 후처리 적용 결과, 어떤 단일 센서에 의한 것 보다 오차가 최소화된 발사궤적을 얻을 수 있었다.

The Operational Comparison of SPOT GCP Acquisition and Accuracy Evaluation

  • This paper presents an investigation into the operational comparison of SPOT triangulation to build GCP library by analytical plotter and DPW (digital photogrammetric workstation). GCP database derived from current SPOT images can be used to other image sensors of satellite, if any reasons, such as lack of topographic maps or GCPs. But, general formulation of a photogrammetric process for GCP measurement has to take care of the scene interpretation problem. There are two classical methods depending on whether an analytical plotter or DPW is being used. Regardless of the method used, the measurement of GCPs is the weakest point in the automation of photogrammetric orientation procedures. To make an operational comparison, five models of SPOT panchromatic images (level 1A) and negative films (level 1AP) were used. Ten images and film products were used for the five GRS areas. Photogrammetric measurements were carried out in a manual mode on P2 analytical plotter and LH Systems DPW770. We presented an approach for exterior orientation of SPOT images, which was based on the use of approximately eighty national geodetic control points as GCPs which located on the summit of the mountain. Using sixteen well-spaced geodetic control points per model, all segments consistently showed RMS error just below the pixel at the check points in analytical instrument. In the case of DPW, half of the ground controls could not found or distinguished exactly when we displayed the image on the computer monitor. Experiment results showed that the RMS errors with DPW test was fluctuated case by case. And the magnitudes of the errors were reached more than three pixels due to the lack of image interpretation capability. It showed that the geodetic control points is not suitable as the ground control points in DPW for modeling the SPOT image.

  • 본 논문은 시변 해수면을 생성하고 KA(Kirchhoff Approximation) 기반으로 산란계수를 시뮬레이션하여 결정론적 모델인 벨홉 임펄스 응답에 적용함으로써 시변동성 채널을 생성한다. 1D Pierson-Moskowitz 해수면 스펙트럼과 가우시안 상관 함수를 이용하여 일정한 속도로 변화하는 시 변동성 해수면을 사용하였다. 산란계수는 벨홉의 채널 임펄스 응답의 신호 응답 강도에 적용한다. 실제 실측 데이터에서 해수면 반사 성분을 분리하여 시 변동성 특성에 대한 도플러 파워 스펙트럼을 구하고, 해수면 산란계수 시뮬레이션의 결과와 비교하여 해수면에 사용된 가우시안 상관 함수의 상관 시간을 추정하였다. 최종적으로 생성된 시변동성 채널에 수동 시역전 통신 시나리오를 가정하고 기법을 적용하여 비트에러율 및 채널응답 상관계수 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

  • 전 세계적으로 방송사 및 영상 관련 기관들의 비디오 기반 시스템이 디지털로 전환되고 있다. 이송 과정에서 발생하는 디지털 드롭아웃은 콘텐츠의 질을 낮추게 만든다. 게다가 디지털 드롭아웃에 초점이 맞춰진 연구가 매우 미미하며 기존 방법들로 해결하기에는 한계점이 존재한다. 상기 이유로, 우리는 디지털 드롭아웃 블록이 가지는 독특한 패턴들의 주파수 특성을 강조할 수 있도록 이산 코사인 변환 (Discrete Cosine Transform) 계수를 기반으로 하는 새로운 특징표현 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 분류를 위해 특징 벡터를 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 SVM 기반의 오류블록 분류방법을 활용한다. 더 나아가 이 방법은 기존 방법들의 프레임 간 연속성을 이용해 발생하는 문제점들을 극복하였다. 단독 프레임의 정보만을 이용함으로써 빠른 물체의 존재하에서도 동작이 가능하고, 특정 모델이나 추정이 필요하지 않아 최소의 복잡도 하에 오류 검출이 가능하다.

개폐식 대공간 구조물의 파라메트릭 설계와 풍하중 적용 (Parametric Design and Wind Load Application for Retractable Large Spatial Structures)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 개폐식 대공간 구조물의 풍하중 산정 및 구조해석의 과정을 자동으로 수행하는 컴포넌트를 개발하는 것이다. 설계한 파라메트릭 모델링을 StrAuto를 통해 구조해석 자동화단계를 거쳐 구조해석용 모델로 변환하는 과정을 실시간으로 연동하여 구조해석 결과를 자동으로 도출하는 과정으로부터 본 연구에서는 추가로 구조물의 풍하중을 형상에 따라 상세히 할당하는 기능을 개발하였다. 이와 같은 과정을 통해 풍하중에 대한 최적화를 수행하여, 기존 설계된 구조의 물량을 줄이고, 구조적 안정성은 유지하는 방향으로 결론을 도출하였다. 추후에는 본 예제 모델을 통해 진동제어 최적화를 위한 제진장치 설치위치의 자동탐색이 가능하게 되는 연구를 진행할 계획이다.

평행주차를 위한 자동 조향 제어시스템 개발 및 성능평가 (Development and Evaluation of Automatic Steering System for Parallel Parking)

  • This research is conducted to develop an automatic steering system for parallel parking, and the performance of the system was evaluated by parallel parking a conventional vehicle. The automatic steering system consisted of MDPS (motor driven power steering) to control steering, ESC (electronic stability control) to acquire wheel speed, ultrasonic sensors to recognize the parking space, and a controller to communicate and handle data. The parallel parking process using the automatic steering control consisted of parking space recognition, parking path generation, and parking path tracking. The path for parallel parking was generated based on a kinematic model of a conventional vehicle, and a PI controller was used to control the steering angle for path tracking. Parallel parking using the automatic steering control was conducted according to vehicle speed conditions. The results show that the errors on the x-axis and y-axis were below 0.54 m and 0.14 m, respectively, and the error on the steering angle was less than $1^{\circ}$. Therefore, it is possible to implement parallel parking using an automatic steering control system for conventional vehicles.

GCM 및 상세화 기법 선정을 고려한 충주댐 유입량 기후변화 영향 평가 (Future Climate Change Impact Assessment of Chungju Dam Inflow Considering Selection of GCMs and Downscaling Technique)

  • In this study, we evaluated the uncertainty in the process of selecting GCM and downscaling method for assessing the impact of climate change, and influence of user-centered climate change information on reproducibility of Chungju Dam inflow was analyzed. First, we selected the top 16 GCMs through the evaluation of spatio-temporal reproducibility of 29 raw GCMs using 30-year average of 10-day precipitation without any bias-correction. The climate extreme indices including annual total precipitation and annual maximum 1-day precipitation were selected as the relevant indices to the dam inflow. The Simple Quantile Mapping (SQM) downscaling method was selected through the evaluation of reproducibility of selected indices and spatial correlation among weather stations. SWAT simulation results for the past 30 years period by considering limitations in weather input showed the satisfactory results with monthly model efficiency of 0.92. The error in average dam inflow according to selection of GCMs and downscaling method showed the bests result when 16 GCMs selected raw GCM analysi were used. It was found that selection of downscaling method rather than selection of GCM is more is important in overall uncertainties. The average inflow for the future period increased in all RCP scenarios as time goes on from near-future to far-future periods. Also, it was predicted that the inflow volume will be higher in the RCP 8.5 scenario than in the RCP 4.5 scenario in all future periods. Maximum daily inflow, which is important for flood control, showed a high changing rate more than twice as much as the average inflow amount. It is also important to understand the seasonal fluctuation of the inflow for the dam management purpose. Both average inflow and maximum inflow showed a tendency to increase mainly in July and August during near-future period while average and maximum inflows increased through the whole period of months in both mid-future and far-future periods.

환경쿠즈네츠곡선을 이용한 한국의 농업 생산과 온실가스 배출의 관계 분석 (The Relationship between Korea Agricultural Productions and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Using Environmental Kuznets Curve)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Korea agricultural productions and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions based on Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. Design/methodology/approach - This study utilized time series data of economic growth, greenhouse gas, agricultural productions, trade dependency, and energy usages. In order to econometric procedure of EKC hypothesis, this study utilized unit root test and cointegration test to check staionarity of each variable and also adopted Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) to analyze the short and long run relationships. Findings - In the short run, greenhouse gas emissions resulting from economic growth show an inverse U-shape relationship, and an increase in agricultural production and energy consumption led to increase in greenhouse gas emission. In the long run, total GHG emissions and CO2 emissions show an N-shaped relationship with economic growth, and an increase in agricultural production has resulted in a decrease in total GHG and CO2 emissions. However, methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions showed an inverse U-shape relationship with economic growth, which indicated the environment and production process of agricultural production. Research implications or Originality - Korea agricultural production has different effects on the GHG emission sources, and in particular, methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions show to increase as the agricultural production expansions, so policy or technological development in related sector is required. Especially, in the context of the 2030 GHG reduction road-map, if GHG-related reduction technologies or policies are spread, national GHG emission reduction targets can be achieved and this is possible to predict the decline in production in the sector and damage to the related industries.

Development of weight prediction 2D image technology using the surface shape characteristics of strawberry cultivars

  • The commercial value of strawberries is affected by various factors such as their shape, size and color. Among them, size determined by weight is one of the main factors determining the quality grade of strawberries. In this study, image technology was developed to predict the weight of strawberries using the shape characteristics of strawberry cultivars. For realtime weight measurements of strawberries in transport, an image measurement system was developed for weight prediction with a charge coupled device (CCD) color camera and a conveyor belt. A strawberry weight prediction algorithm was developed for three cultivars, Maehyang, Sulhyang, and Ssanta, using the number of pixels in the pulp portion that measured the strawberry weight. The discrimination accuracy (R2) of the weight prediction models of the Maeyang, Sulhyang and Santa cultivars was 0.9531, 0.951 and 0.9432, respectively. The discriminative accuracy (R2) and measurement error (RMSE) of the integrated weight prediction model of the three cultivars were 0.958 and 1.454 g, respectively. These results show that the 2D imaging technology considering the shape characteristics of strawberries has the potential to predict the weight of strawberries.

항공기-무장간의 연동 시험을 위한 MIL-STD-1760E 기반 테스트 벤치 구축 사례 연구 (A Case Study on MIL-STD-1760E based Test Bench Implementation for Aircraft-Weapon Interface Testing)

  • 항공기 발사용 유도무기는 자체점검시험(BIT; built in test) 뿐만 아니라 MIL-STD-1760표준을 준수하여 전원, 이산신호, MUX(multiplexer)통신 등 다양한 시험을 수행해야 시스템 안전성 및 신뢰성이 입증된다. 본 사례 연구 목적은 MIL-STD-1760E 기반 항공기-무장간 연동용 테스트 벤치 구축을 통하여 공대지 유도탄 개발 시 유도탄 전원인가부터 표적정보 입력, 전달정렬, 유도탄 분리 절차에 이르기까지 정의된 TIME LINE에 의거 유도탄 발사 시퀀스 구현 방안을 제시하기 위함이고, 추가적으로 오류삽입기능을 통해 비 활성탄에서 시험할 수 없는 항목까지 검증 범위를 극대화하는 참조 방안이 될 수 있다.
