In axiomatic approach for design evaluation, even if a mutual relation don't appear physical mapping of high level, it can appear in process mapping of low level through coupled PVs(Process Variables), but we must solve it for correct design evaluation. This paper handle a method for solving of coupled PVs by using axiomatic approach and CBR(Case-Based Reasoning). The methodology of proposal took still more shape through the instance of MCPs(Microcellular Plastics).

The purpose of this study was to measure consumption values and to investigate the differences in the process of decision making when purchasing apparel products among groups divided by consumption values. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 550 subjects in their 20's and 30's from Sepember 29th to October 25th in 2001; 463 were used for the data analysis. The results of this study were as follows; Consumption values were classified into five factors: Practical/functional value, Social/conformitive value, Subjective/aesthetic value, Epistemic value and Conspicuous value. Subjects were classified into 4 groups based on consumption values: the Conspicuous, the Epistemic, the Social/conformitive and the Indifferent. There were significant differences among the four groups in selected motives in the problem recognition process. Significant differences were found among the groups in own taste & personality in the information search process. Significant difference were also found in the importance of design, color, price, coordination, fashion and self-image in the alternative evaluation process.
This paper presents the development and validation methods of the FUTURE (FUel cycle analysis Tool for nUcleaR Energy) code, which was developed for a dynamic material flow evaluation and economic analysis of the nuclear fuel cycle. This code enables an evaluation of a nuclear material flow and its economy for diverse nuclear fuel cycles based on a predictable scenario. The most notable virtue of this FUTURE code, which was developed using C# and MICROSOFT SQL DBMS, is that a program user can design a nuclear fuel cycle process easily using a standard process on the canvas screen through a drag-and-drop method. From the user's point of view, this code is very easy to use thanks to its high flexibility. In addition, the new code also enables the maintenance of data integrity by constructing a database environment of the results of the nuclear fuel cycle analyses.
It is not easy to develop the system as the subjective-type evaluation has the difficulty in natural language processing. This thesis designs and implements the automatic evaluation system with natural language processing technique. To solve the degradation of general evaluation system, we define the question type and improve the performance of evaluation through the adaptive process for each question type. To evaluate the system, we analyze the correlation between human evaluation and term-based evaluation, and between human evaluation and this system evaluation. We got the better result than term-based evaluation. It needs to expand the question type and improve the adaptive processing technique for each type.

This study focuses on establishing theoretically-reasonable framework of evaluation areas and items for the informatization program and analyzing the weights for each area and item by means of the AHP. To obtain the goal of this research, firstly, based on broadly reviewing previous literature and logical reasoning, the evaluation criteria were Identified and conceptualized, which were 3 evaluation phases, 5 evaluation areas, and 22 evaluation items. Secondly, The data used for calculating the weight values for the evaluation criteria were collected from 48 academic and practical experts in the field of the informatization program promotion using internet survey. Thirdly, the relative weights among evaluation phases, evaluation areas, and its items were derived by AHP analysis. The findings of this study are thought not only to be useful as a practical guideline in performing evaluating the informatization program but also to provide significant basis for constructing the theoretical framework of evaluating method and management of the informatization program.
The Test and Evaluation (T&E) system became more important due to its advancement and complexity of the weapon system. Time and cost saving T&E related studies are in progress mainly with advanced countries. By utilizing the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) technology recently, we may save time and money. Also, overcome security and safety limitations. There are many M&S based research activities in South Korea but it is way behind of the system that some countries already have developed. i.e.; United States. This area of study requires new way of developing strategies in the T&E system of Korea. This study is to design the Operational T&E system for weapon systems based on modeling of processes. And we modeled the processes of operational performance evaluation through utilizing resources and performance modules of weapon systems and combined it with the simulation engine for 3D visualization. Through this, we propose the Operational T&E system for weapon systems based on modeling of processes that represent operational performances visually.
This study aimed to design an evaluation system applicable to permanent record management institutions, focusing on the Seoul Archives, in order to implement the reevaluation of permanent record management institutions. As a process for this, an area for evaluating evidence, administrative, and historical values was established and detailed evaluation factors were derived. In order to effectively apply the set evaluation factors, the evaluation procedure was designed by dividing them into three stages. In the first stage of law-based evaluation, long-term preservation was determined by identifying the position and legal form of policymakers that can be immediately evaluated according to clear standards. Records that have not been determined for long-term preservation were reorganized into evaluation factors, such as record management standards, official document classification tables, pledges, and policies, which are the second stage of business function-based evaluation, and then comprehensively applied to review the validity of long-term preservation of held records. In the second stage of evaluation, records that were not judged as long-term preservation were judged by applying historical events, cultural assets, and collection policies in the subject-based evaluation stage, which is the third stage of evaluation. The designed evaluation system can find significance in minimizing the arbitrariness reflected in the evaluation and increasing the efficiency of the evaluation, and it has been confirmed that it is possible to evaluate comprehensively reflecting the various contexts and values of the records. In addition, a re-evaluation system suitable for permanent records management institutions was established by combining balanced macro-evaluation and micro-evaluation.
It is difficult to evaluate the performance of process innovation of e-procurement which has large scale and complex processes. The existing evaluation methods for measuring the effects of process innovation have been mainly done with statistically quantitative methods by analyzing operational data or with qualitative methods by conducting surveys and interviews. However, these methods have some limitations to evaluate the effects because the performance evaluation of e-procurement process innovation should consider the interactions among participants who are active either directly or indirectly through the processes. This study considers the e-procurement process as a complex system and develops a simulation model based on MAS(Multi-Agent System) to evaluate the effects of e-procurement process innovation. Multi-agent based simulation allows observing interaction patterns of objects in virtual world through relationship among objects and their behavioral mechanism. Agent-based simulation is suitable especially for complex business problems. In this study, we used Netlogo Version 4.1.3 as a MAS simulation tool which was developed in Northwestern University. To do this, we developed a interaction model of agents in MAS environment. We defined process agents and task agents, and assigned their behavioral characteristics. The developed simulation model was applied to G2B system (KONEPS: Korea ON-line E-Procurement System) of Public Procurement Service (PPS) in Korea and used to evaluate the innovation effects of the G2B system. KONEPS is a successfully established e-procurement system started in the year 2002. KONEPS is a representative e-Procurement system which integrates characteristics of e-commerce into government for business procurement activities. KONEPS deserves the international recognition considering the annual transaction volume of 56 billion dollars, daily exchanges of electronic documents, users consisted of 121,000 suppliers and 37,000 public organizations, and the 4.5 billion dollars of cost saving. For the simulation, we analyzed the e-procurement of process of KONEPS into eight sub processes such as 'process 1: search products and acquisition of proposal', 'process 2 : review the methods of contracts and item features', 'process 3 : a notice of bid', 'process 4 : registration and confirmation of qualification', 'process 5 : bidding', 'process 6 : a screening test', 'process 7 : contracts', and 'process 8 : invoice and payment'. For the parameter settings of the agents behavior, we collected some data from the transactional database of PPS and some information by conducting a survey. The used data for the simulation are 'participants (government organizations, local government organizations and public institutions)', 'the number of bidding per year', 'the number of total contracts', 'the number of shopping mall transactions', 'the rate of contracts between bidding and shopping mall', 'the successful bidding ratio', and the estimated time for each process. The comparison was done for the difference of time consumption between 'before the innovation (As-was)' and 'after the innovation (As-is).' The results showed that there were productivity improvements in every eight sub processes. The decrease ratio of 'average number of task processing' was 92.7% and the decrease ratio of 'average time of task processing' was 95.4% in entire processes when we use G2B system comparing to the conventional method. Also, this study found that the process innovation effect will be enhanced if the task process related to the 'contract' can be improved. This study shows the usability and possibility of using MAS in process innovation evaluation and its modeling.

The purpose of this study is to design and develop a teaching-learning process plan for process-based assessment, focusing on the unit related to life design in middle school home economics(HE: Home Economics part of 「Technology and Home Economics」), to propose a feedback plan after implementing it, and to evaluate the plan through participatory observation and interviews. The student reflection journals, teacher's class journals, participatory observation journals, interviews, and performance tasks, were collected and analyzed to provide foundational date to be utilized for feedback to students, and class improvement. The research results are as follows: First, the developed teaching-learning process plan consists of a total of 8 sessions, i.e. 2 sessions for each of the four learning themes, under the practical question of "What should I do to live the life I want?" The portfolio was composed of five evaluation topics and for evaluation, oral presentation, observational evaluation, self-assessment, and peer evaluation were considered. Second, during the class, feedback from teachers, feedback from fellow students, feedback through results, and a plan to record them were provided. Third, from the analysis of collected data including observation journals and interviews, it was apparent that the students recognized the necessity of process-based assessment after the class, and students acknowledged that through the process-based evaluation in which they are evaluated on the efforts they made and provided with feedbacks, they participated more in class, and it lead them to experience a sense of growth and a feeling that they took a step forward into their future. Teachers suggested that the class through feedback was suitable for the unit and the capacity of the class, but the difficulty they experienced in giving feedback was presented as a disadvantage. For the process-based assessment, follow-up research is needed on various ways to provide feedback on-line and off-line through changes in the perception of assessment.

This study aims to explore the direction of improvement that considers the talent image of science high schools in the admissions process. To this end, first, the talent image and competencies of science high schools were divided into 'publicity' and 'efficiency,' 'execution' and 'achievement' types, and 'publicity & execution' was predominant in most cases. Next, a total of 28 science high school teachers, education experts, and middle school teachers were surveyed on the degree of reflection of talent image and the direction of improvement in the admissions process of three science high schools. The results of the survey are as follows: first, the evaluation of 'publicity' was very limited in the first stage of admissions process, and selection based on 'achievement' was high. Second, there was a strong tendency to select based on 'efficiency & achievement' in the second stage of interview evaluation. Third, we need to improve the selection of students who fit the 'publicity & execution' type of talent image by introducing 'publicity & execution' type of talent image by introducing 'write a competency-oriented self-introduction letter, reflect other subjects' grades and comparative studies in the school life record, and experts' interviews' to the first-stage of admissions process. Fourth, convergence and open-ended questions that enable divergent thinking should be jointly submitted to reflect the 'publicity & execution' type of talent image in the second stage of interview evaluation. In conclusion, the direction of improvement that considers the talent image of science high schools in the admissions process should be changed to competency-oriented in the first-stage of admissions process and in the second stage of interview evaluation consisting of open-ended questions.
