Interrupt handling is generally separated from process scheduling. This can lead to a scheduling anomaly and priority inversion. The processor can interrupt a higher priority process that is currently executing, in order to handle a network packet reception interruption on behalf of its intended lower priority receiver process. We propose a new network interrupt handling scheme that combines interrupt handling with process scheduling and the priority of the process. The proposed scheme employs techniques to identify the intended receiver process of an incoming packet at an earlier phase. We implement a prototype system of the proposed scheme on Linux 2.6, and our experiment results show that the prototype system supports the predictable real-time behavior of higher priority processes even when excessive traffic is sent to lower priority processes.
The aim of this paper is to show the process of R&D Project-Priority Ordering in the Defense Technology field. We propose specific methods (Delphi, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Scoring) to order the R&D Project-Priority. In general, to decide the priority of R&D projects most of researches depend on questionnaires which are surveyed by experts. However, it is criticized that this process cannot reflect the limitation of experience and knowledge of experts. In this process, we separate evaluators in two parts: the first is strategic experts, the second is technical experts. Evaluators can choose and evaluate the alternatives which they are familiar with, so we can obtain reliable results. Finally, based on our process of the R&D Project-Priority Ordering we formulate policy implications for managing the defense technology.
Recently, due to the economic recession and increase of ITO (IT Outsourcing), bidding in software industry has been recognized as more competitive and the importance of software bid evaluation for corporate selection is being increased. This study aims to analyze and prioritize influential factors in the software bid evaluation criteria which is adopted as the main evaluation model of national software businesses by Ministry of Science. The priority was developed by AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) through pair-wise comparison. For the analysis, this study developed analysis model for AHP and conducted survey of experts who have work experience for more than 10 years in the IT industry. As the result of analysis, weighted factors in the evaluation criteria were deduced and differences of priority factors between purchaser and bidder were investigated. The analysis showed differences of view point in the bidding process. With these results, this study suggests how to write a proposal strategically and effectively in perspective of the purchaser. It is expected that priority factors will be adopted in strategic proposals in both bidder and purchaser. For purchaser, the priority will be adopted to select reliable bidder. So, we expect that the priority factors will be used to get more values for both bidder and purchaser in their business atmosphere.
The Cross-impact Hierarchy Process (CHP), an extended model of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) which is linked to Cross Impact Analysis(CIA), is a powerful decision making tool to assist in the ranking of large number of dependent technological alternatives. In this paper, we will describe an application of the CHP to the aerospace industry. We here conducted a questionnaire survey for S company that is one of the representative aerospace companies in Korea. A questionnaire was designed to obtain both the priority with dependence (the CHP priority) and the priority with independence (the AHP priority) in order to compare the priority derived by each of two methods. The hierarchy in this case study is concerned with priority setting for R&D area to ensure dependent aerospace design technology of the company, The result shows that there exists the difference hard to neglect between the final priorities gained by two methods.

This paper presents the development of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and network to design the redundant control system in order to control the high priority process. The industrial process that cannot be shutdown or the effect of the shutting down takes abundantly damage. In this article, we say that the high priority process. The redundant systems are designed for controlling the high priority process that the control system must have many controllers to instead the main controller when it has some error. This paper we designed the redundancy control system by the advantage of the high-speed communication on the PLC’s network. The temperature control system and the traffic light control system used as the case study. Each example processes consist of two sets of controller. Our scheme we can increase the reliability prevents process down time and reduces the cost of opportunity to loss also.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the possible ways to minimize damage by analyzing the influence that may be exerted upon the business process of the distribution industry by unexpected climate change. Research design, data, and methodology - The optimum business process is to be implemented after dividing the diversified business process of the distribution industry into the four stages of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Results - First, the upper-level risks that would be impacted most sensitively by climate change have been selected. Second, the impact and characteristics of the environment have been discovered. Third, weighted values by criteria item of upper-level business risks have been analyzed. Fourth, it was possible to define the business priority order based on the individual and then to adjust the Recovery Time Objective (RTO). Conclusion - In this study, the priority order has been defined quantitatively by calculating the priority order score. Further, the priority order has been determined depending on whether any targeted business unit is applicable to the items of the business nature criteria.
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is known as a very useful decision-making model developed for obtaining the relative weights of alternatives through pairwise comparison in the context of hierarchical structure. In this paper, we propose a method to reflect the reliability of evaluators in the process of pairwise comparison. This method is applied to the evaluation of aerospace technology alternatives. We have conducted a questionnaire survey for S company that is one of the representative aerospace companies in Korea. A questionnaire was designed for obtaining both the priority with considering the reliability of evaluators' importance weights (the modified AHP priority) and the priority with assuming equally reliable evaluators' importance weights (the AHP priority) in order to compare the priority derived by each of two methods. The result shows that there exists the difference hard to neglect between the final priorities gained by two methods.
This study was carried out to show how the Analytic Hierarchy Process technique could be used in setting the priority among selected diseases to increase the range of health insurance benefit. Thirty experts, including doctors (group1), experts for preventive medicine or public health(group2), and representatives of the insured(group 3), participated in the study panel that is conducted for priority setting. They were asked to evaluate the priorities among 6 selected criteria and then 42 selected diseases. The results were as follows; First, representatives of the insured think that the magnitude of out-of-pocket payment should have high priority while doctors think that effectiveness of treatment should have high priority. Second, all experts think that catastrophic diseases such as malignant neoplasm, major heart disease, and cerebral vascular disease should have high priority in health insurance coverage even though there is little difference among groups. These results can be useful to establish a systematic strategy for expanding health insurance benefit package.
This paper present that the improvment of the effectiveness of a 101진 system is more important than a improvement of efficiency of subsystem in improving process and pro-duction activity. Also, this paper show that how to be taken the priority of the work elements to be improved through algorithm as follows ' 1) Presentation of model process and process analysis. 2) Finding the element of delay time 3) Giving an Inter - Index to each element 4) Sensitivity analysis 5) Making a priority
