격자 단위 특징값을 이용한 도로 영상의 차량 영역 분할 (Vehicle Area Segmentation from Road Scenes Using Grid-Based Feature Values)

  • 도로 영상에서 차량 영역을 분할하는 차량 영역 분할(vehicle segmentation) 문제는 지능형 교통 시스템을 비롯한 다양한 응용 분야들에서 중요하게 사용되는 기본 연산(fundamental operation)이다. 본 연구에서는 야외의 도로 상에 설치된 CCD카메라에서 촬영된 정지 영상으로부터 차량 영역을 찾아내는 효율적인 방법을 제안한다 제안하는 방법은 입력되는 영상들을 격자 단위로 분할하여 각 격자에서의 에지 검출 결과를 대표하는 특징값(feature value)들을 통계적으로 분석한 후, 이를 바탕으로 최적해를 구한다. 전처리 과정에서는 다양한 외부 환경에서 촬영한 배경 영상들에 대해서 각 격자에서의 특징값들을 통계 처리한다. 입력된 차량 영상에서는 각 격자의 특징값이 배경 영상의 대응되는 격자에서의 특징값과 통계적으로 얼마나 오차를 보이냐에 따라, 배경 영역인지 차량 영역인지를 판단한다. 격자 별로 차량 영역에 해당하는 지를 판정한 뒤, 이 결과에 동적 프로그래밍(dynamic Programming) 기법을 이용하여 차량을 포함하는 최적의 직사각형 영역을 찾아낸다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 통계 처리와 전역 탐색 기법을 사용하므로 휴리스틱에 주로 의존하는 기존 연구들에 비해 좀더 체계적이다. 또한, 배경 영상에 대한 통계 처리는 흐리거나 맑은 등의 날씨 변화 및 바람이나 진동에 의한 카메라의 흔들림과 같은 다양한 외부 요인들이 가져올 수 있는 노이즈나 오차에 대해서도 높은 신뢰성을 보여준다. 제안하는 방법을 구현한 프로토타입 시스템은 $1280\times960$ 크기의 차량 영상들을 장당 평균 0.150초의 수행 시간에 처리하였으며, 총 270장의 다양한 노이즈를 가지는 차량 영상들에 대해 $97.03\%$의 성공률을 보였다.

기업에서의 스마트 훈련 도입 및 활성화 방안 (Introduction and Activation Strategies for Smart Training of Corporate)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explore the introduction and activation of smart training for the effective training of vocational ability development of companies in the 4th industrial revolution era, we analyze the present status of smart training introduction and related difficulties and propose concrete activation plan. Research design, data, and methodology - Through the online survey, we tried to confirm the recognition of corporate about smart training. Questionnaires include what are the benefits, expectations, and difficulties of smart training, etc. The survey was conducted from August 21, 2017 to September 4, 2017. A total of 69 companies participated in the questionnaire. The questionnaire results were analyzed through frequency analysis and contents analysis. Based on the results of the questionnaire, we found out the cause of inhibition of smart training activation and suggested activation strategies. Results - The main reason for the provision of smart training is the expectation of the training performance and the recognition that it is possible to provide training in a flexible manner. The effectiveness of smart training operation was evaluated as a high level of contribution to the development of creative training course and the capacity of training institute. As a result of checking factors that hinders the activation of smart training, the most important reason is that the time and cost burden of the training institutes is excessive. The lack of expertise in the design of smart training courses and the burden of employers and trainees. Conclusions - In order to activate smart training, it is necessary to find solutions to the obstacles at the internal or external level of training institutions. The internal barriers to the training organization are lack of internal competence for preparation and course management. In this regard, we need to consider providing consulting, best practices or guidance in the process of designing and operating smart training. On the other hand, as an external obstacle factor, it is necessary to provide incentives to participate in smart training. In addition, further research is needed on strategies that can lead to participation in smart training from the viewpoint of employers and learners.

블레이드 손상에 따른 이축식 터보팬 엔진의 동적 안정성 해석 (Rotordynamic Analysis of a Dual-Spool Turbofan Engine with Focus on Blade Defect Events)

  • This paper presents a numerical study on the rotordynamic analysis of a dual-spool turbofan engine in the context of blade defect events. The blades of an axial-type aeroengine are typically well aligned during the compressor and turbine stages. However, they are sometimes exposed to damage, partially or entirely, for several operational reasons, such as cracks due to foreign objects, burns from the combustion gas, and corrosion due to oxygen in the air. Herein, we designed a dual-spool rotor using the commercial 3D modeling software CATIA to simulate blade defects in the turbofan engine. We utilized the rotordynamic parameters to create two finite element Euler-Bernoulli beam models connected by means of an inter-rotor bearing. We then applied the unbalanced forces induced by the mass eccentricities of the blades to the following selected scenarios: 1) fully balanced, 2) crack in the low-pressure compressor (LPC) and high pressure compressor (HPC), 3) burn on the high-pressure turbine (HPT) and low pressure compressor, 4) corrosion of the LPC, and 5) corrosion of the HPC. Additionally, we obtained the transient and steady-state responses of the overall rotor nodes using the Runge-Kutta numerical integration method, and employed model reduction techniques such as component mode synthesis to enhance the computational efficiency of the process. The simulation results indicate that the high-vibration status of the rotor commences beyond 10,000 rpm, which is identified as the first critical speed of the lower speed rotor. Moreover, we monitored the unbalanced stages near the inter-rotor bearing, which prominently influences the overall rotordynamic status, and the corrosion of the HPC to prevent further instability. The high-speed range operation (>13,000 rpm) coupled with HPC/HPT blade defects possibly presents a rotor-case contact problem that can lead to catastrophic failure.

  • 홍수는 다양한 원인으로 발생할 수 있으며, 주로 내수배제 불량이나 외수범람을 홍수의 주요 원인으로 주목하고 있으며, 대규모 유역 유출을 발생시키는 강우 또한 빈번히 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 기존의 홍수위험지도는 수리·수문학적 모델링을 통한 분석을 기반으로 하여 방대한 자료의 수집과 복잡한 분석과정으로 인한 장시간의 소요시간으로 넓은 지역에 대한 홍수위험지도 작성이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이를 극복하고자 홍수위험도 산정 시 필요한 시간과 노력을 절감하고 광범위한 지역에 대한 세밀한 분석을 실시하기 위해 지표유출메커니즘을 고려한 홍수취약지구 선정 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 홍수취약지구 선정 기법을 대상지역인 서울시에 적용하여 2×2 혼동행렬과 ROC(Receiver Operation Characteristic) 곡선을 활용하여 검증함으로써 선정된 취약지구 인근에서 침수피해가 발생하기 쉽다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 이용하여 관리 우선순위를 반영하여 효율적인 예산 배분과 체계적인 방재대책 수립이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 1. Purpose: The purpose is to apply and adapt ancient textile pattern to practical life, and to contribute to the promotion of the creative development of modernization and Koreanization of textile pattern by the survey of the extent of taste for the textile pattern existent in Korean costume among costumes. 2. Hypothesis: Textile pattern is in most classical one expressed in fact, but nowadays abstract or geometric one is more exist. Consumers are in most part in forties, and so the taste cannot be ignored. Therefore aesthetic consciousness found Korean costume is more important rather than excessively bold or mordern one. 3. Method and Process: (1) This research is analysed 386 one through college student and parents of a primary or high school. (2) Taste of the pattern is comparisoned and analyzed as age. education, pocket money of the student or an income of a month in home through computer. And the analysis of the statistics research is operation through the Chi-Square Goodness of-Fit-Test. 4. Conclusion: (1) The Korean costume put on mostly party or formal dress, therefore it should be researched as an outdoor dress with traditional costume. (2) The most one is concerned in textile pattern, it's taste is different from color, constitution. Textile industry is developed not only weave pattern, gold-coverning pattern but embroidry pattern, dye pattern, therefore the various side of pattern design should be researched. (3) In Side of form, plant pattern is not only most various but highest in popularity. According to approach nowadays, all of the pattern becomes composition or geometric one with abstract tendency and so from these day pattern is necessary combinationed, researched with our people emotion. (4) The color of textile pattern is choiced individual taste. Through investige, research in various side of the modern taste and our costume, we take growing interest in the color, composition of textile, and should dressed with beauty and grace. (5) In side of size, textile pattern is choiced to individual face and body shape through research on form, color, size of these pattern, we should endeavor to dress well. (6) In side of application, most people is concerned in not only interior ornament but the costume is high. Costume research by some people of the outside and symbol with interior through the pattern analysis is not only very important but also is due to people culture.

  • 본 논문에서는 PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) 차량의 수직이송을 위한 장치를 개발하는 과정에서 수행된 주요 구조물의 정적 구조적 안전성 평가 결과를 다룬다. 지금까지 노선상에서 승객이 탑승한 상태에서 운영중인 차량의 수직이송에 대한 연구는 전무하며, 이는 기존의 2 차원 적인 교통운영 체계의 한계를 극복하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 특히, 본 연구에서 제안된 수직이송장치는 순환컨베이어 방식으로 연속 이송이 가능해서 통행량이 많은 지역에도 적용이 가능하다. 본 시스템이 물류분야에서 많이 사용되어 왔지만, 수직이동 시 차량의 무게에 의한 하중은 일반적인 물류의 수송과는 다르게 집중하중 형태로 컨베이어에 가해지기 때문에 이에 대한 구조적 안정성 평가는 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 상용 유한요소 해석 프로그램인 $Ansys^{(R)}$를 이용해서 수직이송 장치의 기본 설계(안)의 구조적 안정성을 수치해석적 방법에 의해 평가하고자 한다.

  • Over the past 20 years, constant progress in noise and vibration (NVH) engineering has enabled to constantly advance quality and comfort of operation and use of really any products - from automobiles to aircraft, to all kinds of industrial vehicles and machines - to the extend that for many products, supreme NVH performance has becomes part of its brand image in the market. At the same time, the product innovation agenda in the automotive, aircraft and really many other industries, has been extended very much in recent years by meeting ever more strict environmental regulations. Like in the automotive industry, the drive towards meeting emission and CO2 targets leads to very much accelerated adoption of new powertrain concepts (downsizing of ICE, hybrid-electrical...), and to new vehicle architectures and the application of new materials to reduce weight, which bring new challenges for not only maintaining but further improving NVH performance. This drives for innovation in NVH engineering, so as to succeed in meeting a product brand performance for NVH, while as the same time satisfying eco-constraints. Product innovation has also become increasingly dependent on the adoption of electronics and software, which drives for new solutions for NVH engineering that can be applied for NVH performance optimization of mechatronic products. Finally, relentless pressure to shorten time to market while maintaining overall product quality and reliability, mandates that the practice and solutions for NVH engineering can be optimally applied in all phases of product development. The presentation will first review the afore trends for product and process innovation, and discuss the challenges they represent for NVH engineering. Next, the presentation discusses new solutions for NVH engineering of products, so as to meet target brand values, while at the same time meeting ever more strict eco constraints, and this within a context of increasing adoption of electronics and controls to drive product innovation. NVH being very much defined by system level performance, these solutions implement the approach of "Model Based System Engineering" to increase the impact of system level analysis for NVH in all phases of product development: - At the Concept Phase, to be able to do business case analysis of new product concepts; to arrive at an optimized and robust product architecture (e.g. to hybrid powertrain lay-out, to optimize fuel economy); to enable target cascading, to subsystem and component level. - In Development Phase, to increase realism and productivity of simulation, so as to frontload virtual validation of components and subsystems and to further reduce reliance on physical testing. - During the final System Testing Phase, to enable subsystem testing by a combination of physical testing and simulation: using simulation models to simulate the final integration context when testing a subsystem, enabling to frontload subsystem testing before final system integration is possible. - To interconnect Mechanical, Electronical and Controls engineering, in all phases of development, by supporting model driven controls engineering (MIL, SIL, HIL). Finally, the presentation reviews examples of how LMS is implementing such new applications for NVH engineering with lead customers in Europe, Asia and US, with demonstrated benefits both in terms of shortening development cycles, and/or enabling a simulation based approach to reduce reliance on physical testing.

대학 강의실 수업의 효과성 향상을 위한 H형 블렌디드 이러닝 적용 효과 분석 (Investigation of H model blended e-learning technique in enhanced effectiveness of class learning)

  • 본 연구는 블렌디드 이러닝이 대학의 강의실 위주의 수업에서 효과성을 향상시킬 수 있는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 먼저, 수업 사례를 분석하여 블렌디드 이러닝 운영방식으로 CbE(Class based E-learning)와 EbC(E-learning based Class) 방식을 도출하고, 수업구조로 Z형(Zigzag model)과 H형(Ladder model)을 정의하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 A대학의 "엑셀실무" 과목에 CbE 방식의 H형 블렌디드 이러닝을 운영하였다. 집단은 사이버강의 학습참여비율의 50%이상인 집단(그룹 1)과 그렇지 않은 집단(그룹 2)으로 나누고, 자료의 분석은 $x^2$-검정, t -검정으로 학업 성취도를 비교하였다. 사이버강의 학습참여비율과 합격여부의 관계를 규명하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 검정 결과, 그룹 1이 학업 성취도에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과에서 사이버강의 학습참여비율은 합격여부를 예측하는 유의미한 변인으로 규명됨에 따라, 블렌디드 이러닝의 효과성이 확증되었다. 연구 결과, H형 블렌디드 이러닝은 강의실 수업의 단점을 보완하여 학업 성취도와 학습 만족도를 향상시키고, 학습자가 블렌디드 이러닝 수업 방식에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 갖도록 한 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 성공적으로 블렌디드 이러닝을 운영하기 위한 전략과 대학에서의 활성화 방안에 대해 제언하였다.

대형마트부설 문화센터 이용고객의 라이프스타일 유형이 대형마트 이용의도에 미치는 영향: 쇼핑가치의 매개효과 (Impact of Lifestyles of Cultural Center Users in Discount Stores on the Store Usage Intention: Mediating Effect of Shopping Value)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify whether the operation of cultural centers in discount stores contributes to their profitability. Thus, this study is aimed at exploring how the lifestyles of customers who use the cultural centers influence their intention to use the discount stores. Specifically, the effect of shopping value on the correlation between the lifestyle types and usage intention of the customers were examined through a structured research model. To verify the effect, a survey on 139 customers of the Cultural Center of Nonghyup Hanaro Club's S branch was conducted and the valid questionnaires were used for analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - The findings are as follows. First, the lifestyles seeking self-realization had a positive effect on utilitarian value, and lifestyles seeking pop cultures had a positive effect on hedonic value. Second, the mediating effect of shopping value on the correlation between the lifestyle types and usage intention of the customers is as follows. Utilitarian value had a mediating effect only on the lifestyles seeking self-realization. In case of lifestyles seeking pop cultures, the use of Cultural Center had no effect on the intention to use the discount store. Third, an analysis of a revised research model revealed that the store usage intention of lifestyles seeking pop cultures can be enhanced by boosting the utilitarian value through hedonic value. Results - The findings suggest the following. Customers with lifestyles seeking self-realization, who value what is beneficial to them with little attention to the perceptions of others, are highly interested in the benefits they can gain from shopping. As for customers with lifestyles seeking pop cultures, they are highly likely to consume products popular in a particular culture such as new products and sports, based on financial stability they pursue. Thus, they prefer more subjective, personal experience, unlike consumers pursuing utilitarian value. Conclusions - As a result, the former pursues hedonic value gained in the process of shopping with fun and joy, rather than doing shopping with a particular purpose in mind. Therefore, Cultural Centers need to offer information that fits the lifestyles of the users so that they are more likely to use the discount stores. However, if the Cultural Centers offer unified, profit-driven products and information, just to increase their store sales, it can backfire, which occurred in the past. On the other hand, if they provide information that fits the lifestyles of the users, it can actually increase the sales. Also, the findings suggest that sophisticated marketing strategies that can boost the hedonic value of customers by linking the educational contents of Cultural Centers to actual shopping, which is beneficial to consumers, should be set and operated by discount stores. In particular, customers with lifestyles seeking self-realization can be encouraged to use the stores by making them recognize the utilitarian value. However, the use of Cultural Centers doesn't necessarily lead to higher sales among customers with lifestyles seeking pop cultures. As mentioned previously, unified marketing strategy is not as effective for Cultural Centers of large discount stores.

녹색도로 구현을 위한 기술 우선순위 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Technology Priorities for Green Highway)

  • 기후 변화로 인하여 발생하는 자연재해에 대한 뉴스는 더 이상 놀라운 일이 아니다. 우리나라 정부는 온실가스 특히 이산화탄소 저감에 대한 녹색기술 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 본 연구는 탄소 저감 및 에너지 효율화를 실현하고, 미래지향적인 녹색도로를 구현하기 위하여, 녹색도로기술을 정의하고, 기술의 우선순위를 결정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 국내 도로와 교통 전문가 29인에게 AHP기법을 통하여 설문조사를 수행한 후에, Expert Choice 프로그램을 활용하여 선택의 가중치를 분석하였다. 생애주기 변화와 도로 건설 특성을 고려한 1계층 분야와 녹색도로기술을 통하여 달성하고자 하는 목표인 2계층 분야를 구분하여 전문가들의 선택을 분석한 결과, 탄소저감과 에너지 절감을 위해서는 1계층에서는 교통운영 인프라개선, 도로교통정책, 녹색교통 순으로 우선순위 가중치가 높으며, 2계층에서는 녹색도로 관련 기술 R&D투자 및 정책 지원, 녹색교통시설 설계 및 운영, 친환경 도로계획 순으로 우선순위 가중치가 높았다. 추가적으로 전문가들의 기술 우선순위와 국가 재정투자를 비교하기 위하여 2011년까지 5년간의 국토해양부 도로투자를 살펴보았다. 우리나라는 최근 도로건설에 대한 투자보다는 도로의 효율성을 강조하고 이용자의 편의를 도모하는 도로 관리로 전환하고 있는 추세다. 하지만 전문가들이 응답한 기술 목표를 달성하고 최종적으로 녹색도로 구현을 위한 핵심 및 요소기술 개발과 중소기업 기반 도로 산업 육성을 위한 투자는 아직 미진하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 녹색도로 건설 구현을 위하여 녹색도로기술 개발 R&D투자를 도모하고 상업화를 지원하는 풍토가 조성되는 것이 필요하다고 판단된다.
