스토리텔링을 적용한 초등 수학교과서에 내재된 문제점 (On Discussion of Problems Inherent in Elementary Mathematics Textbooks Applying Storytelling)

  • 스토리텔링을 적용한 초등수학교과서가 수학 수업에 활용되고 있지만, 몇 가지 문제점이 지속적으로 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 구체적인 문제점들을 살펴보았다. 첫 번째, 스토리텔링 수학교육 전문가가 부족한 상태였다. 두번째, 스토리텔링 뿐만 아니라 다양한 수업 자료들을 활용해야 한다. 세 번째, 다양한 수학적 지식이 담긴 스토리텔링을 구성해야 한다. 네 번째, 수학적 개념 중심의 스토리텔링 구성이 필요하다. 다섯 번째, 스토리텔링을 활용할 수 있는 수업지도안을 제공해야 한다. 여섯 번째, 내재적 동기유발을 독려하는 스토리텔링을 구성해야 한다. 일곱 번째, 다양한 출처로부터 스토리텔링을 구성해야 한다. 이런 점들이 반영된 스토리텔링 수학교과서가 개발되기를 기대한다.

  • In the 21st century, information collection and information provision based on digital informatization and intelligent automation are emerging as one of the social problems in the society for the elderly and the vulnerable groups in the welfare society including the disabled, and various methods are being studied to find realistic alternatives. Among these factors, the problem of the elderly living alone is emerging as the most serious, and as a realistic approach to solve some problems by applying information devices, it is a monitoring system using the Internet of Things(IoT). The need for an optimized system is emerging. In this study, the state of the elderly and the elderly living alone can be measured remotely by applying IoT technology. We present the research cases of a Breathing Sensor-based Smart Monitoring System that is used as a smart information system and used as a monitoring system for the elderly and infirm when it is identified as deceased through state detection

Application and Consideration on Open-ended Problems in Mathematics Tests of Shanghai Senior Middle School Entrance Examination

  • After reviewing China's appearance and research on the Math open-ended problems, together with the application of those problems in mathematics test of Shanghai Senior Middle School Entrance Exams (SSMSEE) since 1999, this paper points out the difficulty in establishing an evaluation system for such problem. Through comparative study, the paper gives an operational definition of open-ended problem, and it attempts to establish an evaluation system and non-systematic competence targets that are appropriate to Math open-ended problems. Meanwhile, it describes the performance feature of those targets. By applying the standard international grading system of difficulty, it discusses the elements of difficulty in Math open-ended problems, and puts forward an evaluation as well as a level-of-difficulty forecasting system that is appropriate to the Middle School Entrance Exam.

임베디드 디바이스 보안을 위한 SDN 적용 시 고려사항 (Considerations for Applying SDN to Embedded Device Security)

  • 사물인터넷과 빅데이터 그리고 인공지능으로 상징되는 4차 산업혁명시대에 다양한 임베디드 디바이스가 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 디바이스는 낮은 사양임에도 통신 기능을 보유하고 있어서 개인 정보유출 가능성이 높아지고 있으며 보안의 위협 또한 증가하고 있다. 임베디드 디바이스는 하드웨어부터 네트워크를 통한 서비스까지 대부분의 단계에서 보안 이슈가 발생 가능하다. 또한 저사양과 저전력 등 자원 제약의 특징을 가지며 관련 기술의 표준화가 이루어지지 않은 상황이므로 일반적인 보안 기법을 적용하기에는 어려움이 따른다. 본 연구에서는 임베디드 디바이스에 SDN 적용 시 취약점과 발생 가능한 문제점과 고려사항을 제시하였다. 하드웨어 관점에서 와이파이 칩과 블루투스의 문제, 오픈플로우 구현상의 문제, SDN 컨트롤러 및 구조적 특성에 따른 사례를 고려하여 제시하였다. SDN은 데이터 플레인과 제어 플레인을 각각 분리하여 둘 사이에 표준화된 인터페이스를 제공하여 통신을 효율적으로 제어할 수 있으며 빠른 변화에 대응하기 어려운 기존 네트워크 기술에서의 보안의 한계에 대응할 수 있다.

다종 S/W 적용에 의한 선형계획법 연구 (An Applied Technique of Linear Programming Using Multi-Softwares)

  • Linear programming has become an important tool in decision-making of modern business management. This remarkable growth can be traced to the pioneering efforts of many individuals and research organizations. The popular using of personal computers make it very easy to process those complicated linear programming models. Furthermore advanced linear programming software packages assist us to solve L.P. models without any difficult process. Even though the advanced L.P. professional packages, the needs of more detailed deterministic elements for business decisions have forced us to apply dynamic approaches for more resonable solutions. For the purpose of these problems applying to the "Mathematica" packages which is composed of mathematic tools, the simplex processes show us the flexible and dynamic decision elements included to any other professional linear programming tools. Especially we need proper dynamic variables to analyze the shadow prices step by step. And applying SAS(Statistical Analysis System) packages to the L.P. problems, it is also one of the best way to get good solution. On the way trying to the other L.P. packages which are prepared for Spreadsheets i.e., MS-Excel, Lotus-123, Quatro etc. can be applied to linear programming models. But they are not so much useful for the problems. Calculating simplex tableau is an important method to interpret L.P. format for the optimal solution. In this paper we find out that the more detailed and efficient techniques to interpret useful software of mathematica and SAS for business decision making of linear programming. So it needs to apply more dynamic technique of using of Mathematica and SAS multiple software to get more efficient deterministic factors for the sophiscated L.P. solutions.

배전자동화 시스템에 IEC 61850 적용 방안 (IEC 61850 Application in Distribution Automation System)

  • In this paper, problems and solutions are proposed for applying IEC 61850 to Distribution Automation System(DAS). Communication protocol integration in power automation system have issued by IEC standards, IEC 61850 of them has researched for applying IEC 61850 to many areas of power system in spite of that it was made for substation automation system. Especially, DAS is just about to apply IEC 61850 by communication network change from serial to ethernet although DNP 3.0 is used. But it's impossible to apply directly IEC 61850 to DAS by difference of environment which unfixed wide area and separated nodes in power distribution system unlike concept of IEC 61850 is made by Substation Automation System(SAS) environment of limited space. Thus, this paper proposed applications of three types which conceptual, practical, and future to consider problems and solutions when apply IEC 61850 to Ethernet based DAS.

  • In the electricity control field, a relay is the most widely used electrical switch. But it has problems about a material transfer phenomenon, contact bounce, and the mechanical life. These Problems cause the serious problem in a facility. So, we tried to solve these problems by applying MOSFET electronic switch and could find good improvement compared to conventional electrical switch.

Problems of Applying Information Technologies in Public Governance

  • The relevance of research provides the necessity to identify the basic problems in the public governance sphere and information technology relations, forasmuch as understanding such interconnections can indicate the consequences of the development and spreading information technologies. The purpose of the research is to outline the issues of applying information technologies in public governance sphere. 500 civil servants took part in the survey (Ukraine). A two-stage study was conducted in order to obtain practical results of the research. The first stage involved collecting and analyzing the responses of civil servants on the Mentimeter online platform. In the second stage, the administrator used the SWOT-analysis system. The tendencies in using information technologies have been determined as follows: the institutional support development; creation of analytical portals for ensuring public control; level of accountability, transparency, activity of civil servants; implementation of e-government projects; changing the philosophy of electronic services development. Considering the threats and risks to the public governance system in the context of applying information technologies, the following aspects generated by societal requirements have been identified, namely: creation of the digital bureaucracy system; preservation of information and digital inequality; insufficient level of knowledge and skills in the field of digital technologies, reducing the publicity of the state and municipal governance system. Weaknesses of modern public governance in the context of IT implementation have been highlighted, namely: "digitization for digitalization"; lack of necessary legal regulation; inefficiency of electronic document management (issues caused by the imperfection of the interface of reporting interactive forms, frequent changes in the composition of indicators in reporting forms, the desire of higher authorities to solve the problem of their introduction); lack of data analysis infrastructure (due to imperfections in the organization of interaction between departments and poor capacity of information resources; lack of analytical databases), lack of necessary digital competencies for civil servants. Based on the results of SWOT-analysis, the strengths have been identified as follows: (possibility of continuous communication; constant self-learning); weaknesses (age restrictions for civil servants; insufficient acquisition of knowledge); threats (system errors in the provision of services through automation); opportunities for the introduction of IT in the public governance system (broad global trends; facilitation of the document management system). The practical significance of the research lies in providing recommendations for eliminating the problems of IT implementation in the public governance sphere outlined by civil servants..

표준화된 간호진단 및 문제와 NANDA-I 교차분석: 4개 상급종합병원 사례를 중심으로 (Cross Mapping of Standardized Nursing Diagnoses and Problems with NANDA-I in 4 Tertiary Hospitals)

  • Purpose: To explore the scope and method of applying standardized nursing terminologies to nursing diagnosis and problems used in nursing practice. Methods: A descriptive study was done with a retrospective analysis of the nursing records of 141,420 patients that were hospitalized in 4 tertiary hospitals. The nursing diagnosis and problems collected from the records were standardized, and the standardized nursing diagnosis and problems cross mapped with NANDA-I, confirmed in a nursing focus group. Results: 65 (67.7%) of the 96 standardized nursing diagnosis and problems were equal with NANDA-I and included in the 10 domains of NANDA-I. Among 86 nursing diagnosis and problems excluded from the cross mapping with NANDA-I, the 63 terms (73.3%) related to surgery/procedure were the most common. Conclusion: It is meaningful that multi-tertiary hospital nursing diagnosis and problems were standardized and cross mapping with standard nursing terminologies was performed. As for the method of applying standardized nursing terminologies in nursing practice, it is appropriate to use several standardized nursing terminologies complementarily.

과학교과에서 협동적 형성평가 문제 만들기 및 해결을 통한 학습 정리 활동이 초등학생의 학업성취도 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Applying Cooperative Making Problems and Solving Problems for Formative Assessment at Finish Stage of Class on Elementary Students' Science Academic Achievement and Scientific Attitude)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of cooperative making problems and solving problems for formative assessment at finish stage on science academic achievement and scientific attitude. This study is conducted in 51 sixth-graders of two classes. The experimental group was provided with a teaching-learning course based on cooperative making problem and solving problem at finish stage. And the control group was provided with general classes based on the contents in teacher's guidebooks. The experiment was performed with the second and third units of the sixth grade, for about two month and obtained the following results: First, students prefer to make supply-type items than multiple choices. And by the Bloom's revised taxonomy of educational objectives, students prefer to make the problem types of 'Factual Knowledge' and 'Conceptual Knowledge'. Also students prefer to make the problem types of 'Understanding' and 'Applying'. Second, cooperative problem making and solving problems at finish stage has same effect on academic achievement in comparison to teacher-driven activity. Third, the experimental group made statistically significant difference in self-efficiency, contrary to the general science classes. Especially, it turned out that a meaningful effect was discovered to a cooperativity, openness. Finally, it turned out that many students thought cooperative making problem and solving problem at finish stage gave the help approving their cooperativity and openness at the investigation of awareness.
