Wind-induced vibrations of buildings can be perceived when movement of objects caused by the vibration is seen. However, movement of objects that would normally be expected to trigger visual perception of building vibrations is not necessarily seen in actual building environments. Therefore, to evaluate habitability to building vibrations, it is necessary to examine the influence of movement of objects on vibration perception taking into account probability of seeing the objects. As the first step in this study, those data necessary to estimate probability of vibration perception from seeing of swaying objects have been measured during normal activities in actual buildings. In addition, statistical analysis of the data has also been carried out. As the second step in this study, the probability distribution of vibration perception by visual sensation is estimated using the series of data measured in the first step. Probability of seeing object is considered in the estimated probability distribution.
We are currently investigating the feasibility of a 1.6 m telescope with a laser-guide star adaptive optics (AO) system. The telescope, if successfully commissioned, would be the first dedicated adaptive optics observatory in South Korea. The 1.6 m telescope is an f/13.6 Cassegrain telescope with a focal length of 21.7 m. This paper first reviews atmospheric seeing conditions measured over a year in 2014~2015 at the Bohyun Observatory, South Korea, which corresponds to an area from 11.6 to 21.6 cm within 95% probability with regard to the Fried parameter of 880 nm at a telescope pupil plane. We then derive principal seeing conditions such as the Fried parameter and Greenwood frequency for eight astronomical spectral bands (V/R/I/J/H/K/L/M centered at 0.55, 0.64, 0.79, 1.22, 1.65, 2.20, 3.55, and $4.77{\mu}m$). Then we propose an AO system with a laser guide star for the 1.6 m telescope based on the seeing conditions. The proposed AO system consists of a fast tip/tilt secondary mirror, a $17{\times}17$ deformable mirror, a $16{\times}16$ Shack-Hartmann sensor, and a sodium laser guide star (589.2 nm). The high order AO system is close-looped with 2 KHz sampling frequency while the tip/tilt mirror is independently close-looped with 63 Hz sampling frequency. The AO system has three operational concepts: 1) bright target observation with its own wavefront sensing, 2) less bright star observation with wavefront sensing from another bright natural guide star (NGS), and 3) faint target observation with tip/tilt sensing from a bright natural guide star and wavefront sensing from a laser guide star. We name these three concepts 'None', 'NGS only', and 'LGS + NGS', respectively. Following a thorough investigation into the error sources of the AO system, we predict the root mean square (RMS) wavefront error of the system and its corresponding Strehl ratio over nine analysis cases over the worst ($2{\sigma}$) seeing conditions. From the analysis, we expect Strehl ratio >0.3 in most seeing conditions with guide stars.
This study was conducted on 350 students of health and medical department of universities in Busan from June 3, 2013 to June 21, 2013, and a total of 350 questionnaires were researched. Among them 337 responses were used after 13 unfaithful responses were excluded. The effects of oral health belief on use of dental service of students of health and medical department of universities were examined and analyzed to provide basic data which can be used to expand understanding about oral health belief, to promote changes in behaviors regarding oral health and to improve oral health of the public. Collected data was analyzed through SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science 15.0. SPSS Inc. USA). For verification of differences of oral health belief depending on general matters and oral health behavior, t-test and ANOVA analysis were conducted, and for examination of the effects of oral health belief on use of medical service, logistic regression and regression analysis were conducted. The study results suggest that those who had higher sensitivity among oral health belief variables had higher probability of needing dental treatment and seeing the dentist immediately. And those who showed higher sensitivity and importance had higher frequency of seeing the dentist for six months. Future studies need to be conducted on the methods to change oral health belief for sustainable and systematic oral health enhancement in consideration of the factors affecting oral health belief and oral health behavior of the students of dental hygiene department.

Looking for missing companions who are out of touch in public places might suffer a long and painful process. With the help of mobile crowdsourcing, the missing person's location may be reported in a short time. In this paper, we propose MissingFound, an assistant system that applies mobile crowdsourcing for finding missing companions. Discovering valuable users who have chances to see the missing person is the most important task of MissingFound but also a big challenge with the requirements of saving battery and protecting users' location privacy. A customized metric is designed to measure the probability of seeing, according to users' movement traces represented by WiFi RSSI fingerprints. Since WiFi RSSI fingerprints provide no knowledge of users' physical locations, the computation of probability is too complex for practical use. By parallelizing the original sequential algorithms under MapReduce framework, the selecting process can be accomplished within a few minutes for 10 thousand users with records of several days. Experimental evaluation with 23 volunteers shows that MissingFound can select out the potential witnesses in reality and achieves a high accuracy (76.75% on average). We believe that MissingFound can help not only find missing companions, but other public services (e.g., controlling communicable diseases).

In this paper we have tackled the outstanding inventory planning problems over new product launching period in a more holistic manner by addressing first the definition of efficient business rules to effectively control and reduce the inventory risks followed by the rigorous explanations on the implementation guide on suggested inventory planning rules. It is not unusual for many companies in the consumer electronics market to make a great effort to reduce the time to launch a new product because the ability to bring out higher performing products in such a short time period greatly increases the probability for them to remain competitive in the high tech market. Among so many newly developed products, those products with new features and technologies appeal to many potential customers while products which fail to win customers by design and prices rapidly disappear in the market. To adapt to this business environment, those companies have been trying to find the answer to minimize the inventory of old products so they can move to next generation products quickly with less obsolete material. In the experimental implementation of our rule-based inventory planning, Company 'S' reduced the inventory cost for the outgoing products as low as 49% of its peak level of its preceding product version in just 5 month after the adoption of rule-based inventory planning process and system. This paper concluded the subject with a suggestion that the best performance of rule-based inventory planning is guaranteed not from one-time campaign of process improvement along with system development but the decision maker's continuing support and attention even without seeing any upcoming business crisis.
Wearable devices come in a variety of shapes and sizes in numerous fields in numerous fields and are available in various forms. They can be integrated into clothing, gloves, hats, glasses, and bags and used in healthcare, the medical field, and machine interfaces. These devices keep track individuals' biological and behavioral data to help with health communication and are often used for injury prevention. Those with hearing loss or impaired vision find it more difficult to recognize an approaching person or object; these sensing devices are particularly useful for such individuals, as they assist them with injury prevention by alerting them to the presence of people or objects in their immediate vicinity. Despite these obvious preventive benefits to developing Internet of Things based devices for the disabled, the development of these devices has been sluggish thus far. In particular, when compared with people without disabilities, people with hearing impairment have a much higher probability of averting danger when they are able to notice it in advance. However, research and development remain severely underfunded. In this study, we incorporated a wearable detection system, which uses an infrared proximity sensor, into a backpack. This system helps its users recognize when someone is approaching from behind through visual and tactile notification, even if they have difficulty hearing or seeing the objects in their surroundings. Furthermore, this backpack could help prevent accidents for all users, particularly those with visual or hearing impairments.
There is an increasing interest in contents such as movie, drama and game using transmedia storytelling. It includes Le Grand Chef, The War of Flower, Dae Jang Geum, The Matrix, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. However, transmedia contents have not always been successful. To study the factors affecting possible outcomes of transmedia storytelling, we analyzed the intention on transmedia of potential consumers who have not been exposed to transmedia contents before. To this end, we investigated two different cases : first, potential customer intention to watch dramas which will be produced after launching comic-based movies; second, potential customer intention to see movies which will be made after broadcasting comic-based TV dramas. In each case, we analyzed the outcomes from potential customers by applying several variables including gender, exposure to the original and components of contents (plot, quality of act and music etc). Our study showed that potential customers prefer movies or TV dramas with quality of acting, directing, casting and storylines. Interestingly, the quality of acting is more important in dramas than in movies and casting is an appealing factor to potential customers in movies. In TV drama cases, potential customers have high watching intentions when they read the original content. Among them, male potential customer have low watching intentions on TV drama when they did not read the original content. However, female potential customers have high watching intentions on TV drama regardless of the previous exposure to the originals. In movie cases, female potential customers have higher intentions on seeing movies than male. These results suggest that one needs to consider several factors such as casting, acting and gender for generating transmedia contents with a high probability of success.

In this study, for the people who turned or returned to farming (the "Returnees"), information provision measures were sought, focusing on "farmland," for their difficulties in the settlement phase and finding a way for their new agricultural companies to settle in the farming business stably. For this purpose, this study considered endogeneity using a bivariate probit model. According to the results of the study, first, there is a strong positive correlation between the difficulty of securing farmland and the demand for providing farmland information in the settlement phase. Therefore, to ensure the stable settlement of the Returnees, it is necessary to actively respond to their demand through the provision of farmland information. Second, for young returnees, the probability of encountering difficulties in securing farmland is high during the settlement phase. Third, if the young returnees returned to farming after seeing the possibility of agricultural development, the possibility of securing farmland in the settlement stage decreases, and although there was no statistical significance, the demand for farmland information also decreases. Fourth, it was found that if the returnees intend to expand the scale of farming in the future, it is difficult to secure farmland in the settlement phase, and the demand for farmland information also increases.

As the usage of internet is increasing, a lot of user behavior are written in a log file and the researches and industries using the log files are getting activated recently. This paper uses the Hadoop based on open source distributed computing platform and proposes a customized tourism system by analyzing user behaviors in the log files. The proposed system uses Google Analytics to get user's log files from the website that users visit, and stores search terms extracted by MapReduce to HDFS. Also it gathers features about the sight-seeing places or cities which travelers want to tour from travel guide websites by Octopus application. It suggests the customized cities by matching the search terms and city features. NBP(next bit permutation) algorithm to rearrange the search terms and city features is used to increase the probability of matching. Some customized cities are suggested by analyzing log files for 39 users to show the performance of the proposed system.
The purpose of this study is about to consider the structure of dualistic recognition between "Gang-Ho"(ideal sanctuary) and real world in the "Songs of Fisherman" written by Lee Hyeon Bo. In order to do this job, I analized the arrangement of the contents and extract the exact in and outward meaning of elements and expressions; usage of them between lines of this Song. Based on these works, I tried to explain the confronted recognitions of the two worlds. At the first, about the arrangement and contents of this poem, It is consisted of 5 independent sub-poems and each of them are describing the value of fisherman's life(at the poem 가), separation from mundane world(나), satisfaction of fisherman's life(다), nature of "Gnag-Ho"(라), domiciliation in the place(마). It looks like that the writer intended to have the arrangement probability and likelihood connecting poems. Secondly, It contrast the nature of the "Gang-Ho" and real world. The sanctuary is a place of 'absence of worldly desire' and 'cordiality' that could afford one's harmonious life. On the other hand, the real world is a troublesome place which always conflicts political confrontations. For those reasons, the writer wants to satisfy with his living in "Gang-Ho" separating himself from the real world. Thirdly, The nature of "Gang-Ho" is 'absence of worldly desire' and 'cordiality' that one could be deserved his diligency becoming a part of the harmonious idealistic living place. Fourthly, on the character of story teller. Originally he is a incomer of "Gang-Ho" from real world. so that reason, he is showing dualism not to deny the loyalty oath to his king, while he intends to satisfy with the life in "Gang- Ho" separating himself from real world. As a gentry, at that time, the loyalty oath is inevitable one and that is found from writer's other works either. Fifthly, Characters of the different world recognition. The main reason of his intention to "Gang-Ho" roots on out of worldly confrontations, his separation from real world is on a joyous peaceful life just like in "Gang-Ho". this study believes the writer imply that 'absence of worldly desire' and 'cordiality' of "Gang-Ho", be a key role to resolve the confrontation of real world. Lee Hyeon Bo himself regards the two elements as a advisable attitude of life. At last, Seeing the writer's other work and literature's educational effect, this study defines that even if the poem outwardly express one's lyricism but inside it warns governors ruling attitude.
