  • As screen printing is changed by automation recently, could print more exactly. However, must suffer great many trial and error to have still gotten perfect result. By the way, at this step, fair time and money should be invested. Therefore, if search for optimum condition in early time visualizing screen printing process using simulator program before progress printing, is judged that may be correct and gets printing result efficiently. In this paper, searched optimum printing speed and ink viscosity using FLOW-3D program. Also, the result could confirm truth that is agreeing almost with experiment contents. Through this, is thought that may expect extension of screen printing wide application that vivify advantage of screen print if use simulation program.

  • The screen printing is a process that is widely used in manufacturing process of various fields such as flexible devices, portable multimedia devices, OLED, and the solar cell. The screen printing method has been studied as a method for forming the high precision micro-pattern, making the low-cost manufacturing process and reducing cost through improvement of productivity. It is applicable to deposit and forming the pillars which are one of the core element for comprising vacuum glazing. In this paper, by using the paste of the glass frit base, the screen printing was performed. We analyzed the effect for the printing process to deposit pillar paste on the screen printing parameters by the factorial experimental design. The polynomial predicting the volume of the printed supporting pillars was drawn by using screen printing.

  • Compared on dye, pigment is not colored to textiles, fixed by binders, so it has been used for less expensive textiles. However, the function of a binder hs been improved s organic chemical industry develops, and the flexibility and softness of textiles hs gotten better. Some of dye printing is being replace by pigment printing. Pigment printing skills illuminated and make colors represented cleariy. Since their durabillty is reasonably good and washing processes are not needed, further development of these printing skills are predictable. This study suggests color samples though theoretical researches and experiments on pigment printing that causes less pollution and en be colored on any type of textiles. Especially, over printing can be used in industrial fields because it saves processing and expense. For the improvement of pigment printing skills, more improved studies on binders are expected.

  • In Gravure printing process, there are a lot of printing errors caused by expansion and contraction of printing materials and difficulty of printing of small letters, accordingly we cannot detect those errors with eyes. In this paper, we describe the algorithm which can detect small errors automatically in Gravure printing process and a real-time detection system adopting the algorithm. We present the Perimetric Mask algorithm that can eliminate tiny errors occurring near the contour of printing objects to achieve accurate inspection, and also construct an algorithm utilizing symmetry transform which can emphasize tiny errors to make a robust inspection system. We have made a system running in real-time and verified the efficiency of the algorithm.

  • In this paper, we present an effective encryption algorithm for 3D printing models in the frequency domain of discrete cosine transform to prevent illegal copying, access in the secured storage and transmission. Facet data of 3D printing model is extracted to construct a three by three matrix that is then transformed to the frequency domain of discrete cosine transform. The proposed algorithm is based on encrypting the DC coefficients of matrixes of facets in the frequency domain of discrete cosine transform in order to generate the encrypted 3D printing model. Experimental results verified that the proposed algorithm is very effective for 3D printing models. The entire 3D printing model is altered after the encryption process. The proposed algorithm is provide a better method and more security than previous methods.

  • In printed electronics, printing rolls are used to transfer electronic ink onto a flexible substrate. Generally printing rolls are being made by the indirect laser method which is based on the etch process, thus not environment-friendly and not suitable for making a large printing roll. For the pursuit of making a large printing roll for mass printing of electronic devices, we have directly engraved micro-patterns into a Zn plated printing roll using a 30W pulse-modulated fiber laser. We have successfully engraved line patterns ranging from about 15-30${\mu}m$ in width.

  • Bulk-heterojunction type organic photovoltaic cells have been remarkably improved due to the development of efficient donors and post treatment process. However, most of researchers have studied on the OPVs using spin-coating method during the past decade. To commercialize the OPVs, much cheaper printing process should be developed such as inkjet, screen, gravure, and so on. In this study, we have focused on the development of printing technology using Inkjet and Aerosol-Jet printing, which can offer reliable device performance. Finally, 4.5% power conversion efficiency can be achieved under AM 1.5 1sun light illumination, which is the highest value in printed OPVs. We reveal that substantial improvement can be realized by highly efficient bulk heterojunction after printing. Also, we can confirm these two printing methods are promising fabrication methods for large area OPVs. Also, flexible and large area (18 cm2) printed OPVs have been fabricated and device performance will be discussed in detail.
