다변량분석(多變量分析)에 의(依)한 죽간(竹稈)의 성장해석(成長解析)에 관(關)하여 (An Analytical Study on the Growth Factors of Bamboo Culm by the Multivariate Analysis)

  • 죽간(竹稈)의 각종성장인자간(各種成長因子間)의 관계(關係)와 그의 배후구조(背後構造) 및 총합적특성(總合的特性) 등(等)의 성장생리(成長生理) 현상(現象)을 구명(究明)하고져, 전남담양지방(全南潭陽地方)의 왕죽림(王竹林)을 대상(對象)으로하여, 이에 다변량해석(多變量解析)을 실시(實施)하였는데, 그 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1) 상장성장인자군(上長成長因子群)과 비대성장인자군간(肥大成長因子群間)의 정준상관(定準相關)에 있어, 전자(前者)와 후자(後者)의 종합특성(綜合特性)은 각각(各各) 간고(稈高)($x_1$)와 최대절간직경(最大節間直徑)($x_7$)의 영향력(影響力)에 의(依)해서 형성(形成)되며, 양적성장인자군(量的成長因子群)과 질적성장인자군간(質的成長因子群間)의 정준상관(定準相關)에 있어, 양자(兩者)의 총합특성(總合特性)은 전자(前者)는 양면적(兩面的)($x_{10}$), 후자(後者)는 최대절간직경(最大節間直徑)($x_7$)의 결정적(決定的)인 영향력(影響力) 하(下)에서 형성(形成)됨을 알 수 있다. 2) 죽간(竹稈)에 대(對)한 10차원(次元)의 정보(情報)는 유효목표(有效目標) 90% 하(下)에서 2차원(次元)으로 간약화(簡約化)되며, 제(第) 1 주성분(主成分)($Z_1$)은 "크기의 인자"로서 면고절간장(眠高節間長)($x_5$)을 제외(除外)한 모든 성장인자(成長因子)와 매우 높은 상관(相關)이 있으며, 제 2 주성분(主成分)($Z_2$)은 "형상(形狀)의 인자(因子)"로서 $x_5$와 높은 상관(相關)을 가질 뿐 기타(其他)의 성장인자(成長因子)와는 거의 무관(無關)한 것으로 나타났다. 3) 죽간(竹稈) 및 그의 각종성장인자간(各種成長因子間)의 내재현상(內在現象)은 매우 높은 공통성(共通性)(94.16%)을 지닌 2개(個)의 공통인자(共通因子)에 의(依)해서 규정(規程)되며, 이에 의(依)해서 10개(個)의 성장인자(成長因子)는 분량(分量)과 형질계(形質系) 등(等)의 2가지 속성(屬性)의 인자(因子)들로 분류(分類)된다. 4) 공시죽(供試竹) 24본(本)은 대체적(大體的)으로 총합형(總合型), 체적형(體積型), 형질형(形質型), 열등형(劣等型), 중용형(中庸型) 등(等)의 5개유형(個類型)으로 분류(分類)될 수 있다.

Phenotypic Factor Analysis for Linear Type Traits in Beijing Holstein Cows

  • Factor analysis was applied to the phenotypic correlation matrix of 15 linear type traits (scored linearly 1 to 50 points) for 2035 Holstein cows of 38 sires computed from data collected between 1988 and 1992 in Beijing Shuangqiao Farm and Beijing Xijiao Farm. The 15 linear type traits were stature, body strength, body depth, dairy form, rump angle, rump length, rump width, rear leg side view, foot angle, fore udder attachment, rear udder height, rear udder width, udder cleft, udder depth and teat placement rear view. The first four components accounted for 49.1% of the total variance in type scores. Factor 1 reflected strong cows, with deep bodies, with long and wide rumps, and tall in stature. Factor 2 reflected cows with well attached fore udders, wide rear udders and whose udders were supported by strong suspensory ligaments with close teat placement. Factor 3 reflected cows with good dairyness, sickled in the hocks, high rear udders and udder floors above the hocks. Factor 4 reflected cows with sloping rumps from hooks to pins and with steep foot angle. Principal component and factor analyses are useful to clarify the relationships among type traits.

Hair Style이 인상형성(印象形成)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of Hair Style for Impression Formation)

  • The purpose of this study is to apply fundamental data of impression formation research by analysing and observing the various facial image that can be effected from hair style as well as be helpful for choosing suitable hair style for T.P.O in modern society. This study targeted 305 college women in Daegu and Gyung-book area. Hair Style Image Scale(HSIS)was used the scale of seven point modified the S-D(Semantic Differential) method. The analysis of impression formation effect of hair style using SPSS WIN package have completed from the principal component analysis by Varimax perpendicular rotation method and ANOVA was used to recognize the difference in impression formation according to hair style change. In the case of statistical difference was appeared, LSD post-verification was applied for that. The conclusions of this study is as followed ; 1. The factors of impression formation effected by hair style were classified as goodwill factor, refinement factor, elegance factor and individuality factor. 2. In terms of goodwill factor, long hair style showed highest level and short cut hair, bobbed hair in an order. In refinement factor, there was no difference between short cut hair and bobbed hair and both of them was higher than long hair. In elegance factor, long hair was highest and bobbed hair was lowest. In individuality factor, short cut hair and bobbed hair higher than long hair and no difference between short cut hair and bobbed hair.

Construction of Scientific Impact Evaluation Model Based on Altmetrics

  • Altmetrics is an emergent research area whereby social media is applied as a source of metrics to evaluate scientific impact. Recently, the interest in altmetrics has been growing. Traditional scientific impact evaluation indictors are based on the number of publications, citation counts and peer reviews of a researcher. As research publications were increasingly placed online, usage metrics as well as webometrics appeared. This paper explores the potential benefits of altmetrics and the deep relationship between each metrics. Firstly, we found a weak-to-medium correlation among the 11 altmetrics and visualized such correlation. Secondly, we conducted principal component analysis and exploratory factor analysis on altmetrics of social media, divided the 11 altmetrics into four feature sets, confirming the dispersion and relative concentration of altmetrics groups and developed the altmetrics evaluation model. We can use this model to evaluate the scientific impact of articles on social media.

중학생을 대상으로 한 Moos 월경증상 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도 검증 (Study on the Validity and Reliability of MMDQ (Moos Menstrual Distress Questionnaire) among Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: This study was done to test the validity and reliability of the MMDQ for middle school students. Method: A convenience sample of 318 middle school students were asked to complete the MMDQ which consisted of 37 items and data were collected from May to June, 2004. Result: 1. Six factors for MMDQ (except insomnia, finally 36 items) were extracted through the principal component analysis with varimax rotation, and these contributed 56.7% of the variance in the total score. All 36 items in the scale loaded above .37 on one of 6 factors. 2. Factor 1 has 7 items, factor 2 has 9 items, factor 3 has 8 items, factor 4 has 5 items, factor 5 has 4 items, and factor 6 has 3 items. 3. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for internal consistency of MMDQ was .946 for the total 37 items and .88, .86, .88, .81, .70, .61 for the six factors in that order. Conclusion: MMDQ was identified its adequacy as PMS measurement tool for middle aged students in Korea. In further study, these factors would be confirmed across different samples and across different methods of data collection.

체형의 변이 경향에 대한 연구 -우리나라 19~54세 남성을 대상으로- (A Study on the Trend of Bodytype Change -On the adult male between age 19 and 54-)

  • The purpose of this study was performed to analyze the trend of bodytype change of adult males. Subjects were 1290 Korean adult males and their age range was from 19 to 54 year, ; old. 75 variables(66 variables from the direct anthropometric data and 9 variables from the multiplication method) in total were applied to analyze. The principal component analysis was applied to the data with orthogonal rotation after extraction of major factors. The high factor loading items extracted by factor analysis were analyzed for the trend of bodytype change by the age group respectively. The result of factor analysis indicated that the first factor was composed with about 30 items, girth, depth and width-measures in 4 age groups and was analysed as form factors. Especially, age-related change was caused by increase of waist girth, depth and width. The second factor was composed with about 23 items, length and height-measures in all age groups. Stature has a constant factor loading value in 4 groups. Front and back waist-height and the navel-height have the highest factor loading value. The third, fourth and fifth factors were composed with different variables among the age groups.

깊이 추정을 위한 PCA기반의 특징 축소 (PCA-Based Feature Reduction for Depth Estimation)

  • 본 논문에서는 한 장의 정지 영상에서 학습을 통한 방법으로 깊이 정보를 추정하는데 사용되어지는 특징 정보를 PCA(Principal Component Analaysis)기반으로 축소하여 깊이 정보의 정확성을 향상시키는 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 정지 영상에서 깊이 정보를 추정하기 위하여 이미지의 에너지 값과 기울기와 같은 특징을 추출하며 특징들의 관계를 이용하여 각 영역의 깊이 정보를 추정한다. 이 때 영상 필터를 사용하여 많은 특징을 추출하지만 특징의 중요성을 판단하지 않고 모두 사용하면 오히려 성능에 좋지 않은 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 한 장의 정지 영상의 깊이 추정을 위해 PCA를 기반으로 중요도를 판단하여 특징 벡터의 차원을 줄이고 깊이를 정확하게 추정할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 스탠포드 대학의 평가 데이터로 실험한 결과, 깊이를 추정하는데 있어서 전체 특징 벡터의 30%만을 이용하여 평균 0.4%에서 최대 2.5%의 정확도가 향상되었다.

Comparative Analysis of the Responses to Intruders with Anxiety-Related Behaviors of Mouse

  • Anxiety in mice can be measured by behavioral reactivity to social or non-social stressors. These behaviors were compared by performing the resident-intruder test (social) as well as the light-dark transition and open-field tests (non-social) for the FVB, C57BL/6, and BALB/c lines of mouse. The three inbred lines showed significant differences in their responses to intruder mice. Three factors, accounting for about 68% of the total variance, were extracted from the scores obtained from the three behavioral tests. The first two major factors are primarily associated with the anxiety-related behaviors. One includes anxiety behaviors with a locomotive basis, while the other includes defecation measured in both anxiety tests. The third factor explains the three social behaviors, facial investigation, ano-genital investigation, and following, observed in the resident intruder test, although facial investigation is also moderately associated with the second factor. The results indicate that the behavioral responses to an intruder share a component distinct from anxiety-related behaviors.

산간계류(청계산)의 물리적 환경요인과 생물지수의 관계 (Relationship between Physical Environmental Factors and Biological Indices of A Mountain Valley Stream (Mt. Cheoggye))

  • This study aims to identify benthic macroinvertebrate fauna inhabiting at the mountain valley stream (Mt. Cheonggye) in Korea and the relationship between physical environmental factors and biological indices. Benthic macroinvertebrates were collected at five locations on August 24 and October 14, 2020, and were identified as 4 phyla, 7 classes, 16 orders, 42 families, and 72 species. Dominance ranged from 0.38 to 0.59, diversity 2.81 to 3.75, richness 3.25 to 4.63, evenness 0.65 to 0.84, and %EPT (Ephemeroptera-PlecopteraTrichoptera) richness value 42% to 73%, respectively. All sites were evaluated as a very good status by mostly biological indices based on tolerance of indicator organisms in Korea. As a result of principal component analysis, biological indices are classified into species-level indices and higher cartegory-level indices according to the taxonomic level of the indicator organism considered in each index. As a result of canonical correspondence analysis, it was confirmed that current velocity was a major factor that increased species richness and classified biological indices according to taxonomic category level. Water depth was a major factor related to the community indices, and the deeper the water depth, the lower the diversity and the evenness.

사진 계측에 의한 아동의 동체 형상 분석(I) (An Analysis of Children's Torso Using Photographic Anthropometry)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the body type of children's, especially torso, and to provide the fundamental data for children's clothing construction which can reflect the characteristics of their bodies. The subjects for photographic measurements are 308 elementary school children aged from 6 to 8 living in Seoul and urban area. Anthropometric measurements were performed indirectly from the pictures of subjects. The data were analyzed statistically using SPSSWIN. The results obtained from this study are as follows: 1. Through one-way ANOVA, items for heights, breaths, weight reveals the significant differences according to ages and genders. 2. Through Pearson correlation, it turns out that there are high correlation between any items of heights, but there is no correlation for item of shoulder inclination with any other items. 3. Through factor analysis of principal component model, six factors were extracted which covers 83.6% of the whole information. The first factor represents the items of heights which relates with linearity. The second factor describes the items of breaths, depths, and weight in relation with laterality. The third factor were gathered with depths of front and back in relation with posture of side, which proves as important one to characterize the children's torso. The other factors represents the items of posture of neck, depths in neck, shoulder inclination, respectively. 4. Through one-way ANOVA in factor by group, and Scheffe multi comparison test for each group, the factor 1 that is related with linearity reveals the significant differences according to ages and genders.
